I’ve never had a man cut my hair before but I decided to be open minded and boy was that a mistake. I told the man I believe his name is Greg but he never introduced himself so I’m not quite sure, that I wanted to lob basically long in front short in back. This man decided to do the exact opposite of what I asked and gave me short layers in front and long hair and back (like a fridge bulletin 🙄). When he was done I felt highly uncomfortable to ask him to fix it since he had already butchered my hair. I went to another cost cutters location and the woman was nice enough to do her best to try to fix what have been done but unfortunately it will have to grow out. I do not recommend seeing the man that works at the cottage Grove location because not only did he do the opposite of what I said but he was not personable at all

The hair styler Craig was very rude. He seems to have no patience, was rushing us. I would not recommend him.

Getting expensive for simple haircut

I love Bethany, if you have a chance to sit in her chair, do it. 😊 She listens and gives honest feedback. Ive been going to her for years and so does my son. Now my daughter is going to her as well. My daughter has her do her hair, for her wedding. Absolutely best haircuts ever.

Convenient and quick only one employee is running the show and he has a lot of experience

Received a great haircut from Craig at a low cost. Too bad he has to run everything else while he is the only employee there. He has to answer the phone and handle the walk-ins. He does it masterfully though.

When I went there the hairstylist had her mask past her nose. When I mentioned it she said that her mask was broken and then immediately started to cut my hair.

Been going here for a few years, as it is close, and reasonably priced, market wise. Increasingly, the amount of time a stylist spends cutting my hair has been getting shorter. This week took the cake. A few swipes of the clippers, a few cuts of the scissors, I dont think it took more than ten minutes. Had to trim up myself when I got home.Wont be going back..

Took my two year old son this evening. They had a station with a kiddy car chair and a fun red TV with Elmo’s World on. She cut his hair exactly as I asked. She was sweet and patient and quick. He got a balloon and when we paid, she asked if it would be okay to offer him a sucker (it was, and I appreciate her asking first). He was thrilled with a balloon and a sweet treat. Christina was the stylist’s name. I highly recommend her.

Pretty amazed to see these reviews. CC isnt an expensive salon, its a place to get a haircut. And thats what Ive been doing there for the past two years. Unlike previous reviewers, this is the FIRST place Ive been (Im nearly 60 years old) that just cuts my hair, does a great job, and leaves the BS out. I do agree that she (and yes, its the manager who cuts my hair, too) is fast. 5 - 10 minutes and youre done. So I imagine if you are into all the nuances, go down the street and pay $75. Youll get your hour and your nuances. If you want a haircut for under $20 and no BS, this is your place. And the tattoos are nice.

My 2 year old son hates getting his hair cut, he is usually crying and needs to be restrained throughout the experience but Craig did a great job and my son had one of the best haircut experience of his life. Thanks!

Good haircut at a fair price

My hair was pulled at least 5 times, pretty sure I suffered a cut or two on my neck, and the haircut took about 5 minutes. There was no care taken when cutting my hair! Please save your money and hair by going somewhere else!

My appointment was for 2:30 and I was HOME by 2:29. There was no care or effort put into my haircut. I told the woman cutting my hair I was nervous to come in because I did not want too much length cut off. I requested a 2 inch trim and received an 8 inch hack job. Please go to a real salon, its been a month and I still feel awful every time I look in the mirror.

Bad! Haircut was uneven, back of hair was part long and short. Waiting for it to grow so another hairdresser can fix this mess.Won t go back😠

My stylist, Christina Ruiz, just took over as Manager here and I happily followed! I have THICK hair, mostly straight but a bit wavy when shorter and esp wet.. shes one of the only people who takes the TIME to do a GOOD job. Shes given me many different cuts and full colors/babylights/ombre- all to satisfaction!Also, its important to me that my stylist be honest and she always is. If i find some amazing style on pinterest that wouldnt work with my hair type, she breaks it to me gently(lol) and suggests something even better. LOVE LOVE LOVE
