This place is the best. Andy is great and always makes sure his customers are happy. Once I made an appointment in the evening not realizing how long the appointment would take and ended up finishing after they were supposed to close. I felt terrible but Andy didn’t seem inconvenienced or rushed. John is a great nail tech. He always makes sure I’m happy with the length/shape/color before moving on to the next step. He takes his time to make sure everything is done right and never seems rushed. This is the only place I will go to get my nails done.

I have had dip powder nails several times and two pedicures. I have been getting my nails done for 15 years in several locations and since I have been going to Nail Lounge, I have developed a fungus on three of my fingernails. I am very upset. I showed it to the owner and he said it isnt a fungus. It definitely is as I got another opinion. Either the two people who I have used did not apply the powder correctly and were in a hurry or the powder was contaminated. It can take a year and a trip to the doctor and oral medication to get rid of this fungus. I will never return to this salon. Obviously, it isnt clean and/or the people are not applying the powder correctly. Beware. I am very upset.

DRIVE PAST THIS NAIL SALON!!! Me and my sister in law went there twice. We both got pedicures and fills. The first time we went the experience for myself was fine. Andy did my nails and I absolutely loved them and the design I chose was very tedious and he was very professional and patient. I really liked Andy and his work so I decided to go back for a second time but he didn’t do my nails a middle aged woman shaped them and she was so rough that I had to pull my hand away twice. She filed my actual nails to paper and she was talking about my nails to the other worker and rolled her eyes at me so I’m like ugh okay. I asked her to stop because she cut two of my fingers so she got done filing them. Another girl painted them and she was so sweet and wanted to make sure I got the color I wanted. After about four days my nails started to lift and by day day 6 I had four nails missing. I went to another nail salon to get them refilled but when the woman was taking them off she found fungus under my nails. She said that salon didn’t use clean equipment and I had to get my nails soaked off and not put on because of Nail lounge unsanitary practices. My sister in law showed the person who was doing her nails a picture of what she wanted and she also wanted an initial on one of her nails. Let’s just say it was one of those situations where you say “this is what I wanted and this is what I got” they were not very appealing and she was charged $80 for her nails. Altogether she paid $110 for a pedicure and her nails, I paid $96 for a pedicure and a fill and both were trash. I NEVER wrote a review before and don’t want to be a Karen but I wouldn’t want someone else to have such a horrible experience.

They were really fast, got me on right away, did a pedicure and no-chip manicure in an hour and a half (plus touched up my toenail because I’m clumsy and chipped it before leaving). My nails turned out great and everyone was so nice.

I have been a customer for nearly 3 years, every 3 weeks except during COVID. At the time I found them I was shopping various nail salons (there are a LOT in the Rockford area!!!) to find what I considered the best FOR ME. I get the powder dip nails and they last beautifully until my next appointment. I recommend you make an appointment because they get extremely busy heading into the weekend.

I’ve only been here twice and both times I have not been disappointed. Everyone is friendly, and they do an amazing job. Definitely my new favorite nail salon.

The lady that did my nails had a little challenge because I bite them and they were rather short. These things were still solid 3 weeks later I had to remove them usually they fall off when your nails are short. I was pleasantly surprised.

Tonight is a perfect example as to why I will always be a loyal customer to Andy and his team. I got my nails done on Saturday (no chip manicure) and in between then and that following Monday I picked at my nails and caused one of the nails polish to lift off and I went in to get it fixed, fully expecting to have to pay for it because I caused the issue but once I got out of the chair Andy told me I didn’t have to pay to get the nail fixed and any time I had an issue I could go back at no charge to have it fixed and that is GREAT customer service. I love this place ❤️❤️❤️❤️

My nails fell off not even a week. Got a french fade they were not done good at all i seriously hated them. After 2 days my nails popped off.. i paid 25 dollar tip for me an 25 for my sister 50 in tips an spent 100 on the nails.. seriously when i called no response

And I do mean perfect nails, hand filed to perfection and not a spec of polish out of place. glamorous atmosphere and it doesnt reek of chemicals! Only been here twice, both times got a gel manicure and regular pedicure. The guys here do an amazing job. Especially with nail art. It takes about 2 hrs for both services but well worth the wait. I did notice that the second time around I got plain French tips painted on and with the gel when my nails dried, the tips where the white part is was sort of bubbled up.my nail bed was not even and smooth. I paid $27 for the pedicure and $30 for the gel manicure.

I love the nail lounge! The atmosphere is very clean and relaxing. The employees are super personable, friendly and make you feel welcomed. Most nail spas try to hurry the process but not the Nail Lounge, they go for quality by taking their time like all nail places should :)

This place is seriously the best! If you want your nails to stay on for longer than a week, than this is the place to go. Mine have lasted over 5 weeks and I am rough on my nails to say the least! The people are very friendly and give you exactly what you are looking for. I HIGHLY recommend them!!

I went there in the beginning of march and the lady that did my nails didnt do the gel right left gaps she took over an hour to do my nails. I brought my sister in and the guy that did hers was done in a half hour and there were no gaps on her nails. Absolutely the worse $50 I have spent.

This was the worst manicure I have ever gotten. 1.5 hours for someone who couldn’t even handle the tools correctly. Filed my nails 4 times through, painted at least 15 strokes of nail polish on each finger each time, was the worst finish of a regular manicure I have ever had. Do not come here unless you are getting fake nails. That technician finished two clients well as I was trying to finish a regular mani at that time. Choose somewhere else

I went here saturday and it was the worst nail place i’ve ever been to. the person doing my nails got up many times to do other things while doing my nails. he only put on two layers of nail polish on my nails. some spots looked more colored than others. my nails look clumpy also. it’s monday and one of my nails already fell off without me doing any activities.

Big props to the nail lounge! Customer service is outstanding 🙌🏽 ! I had issues with my nails chipping and I had to come back twice to get them fixed. They never complained about fixing them, and they were very kind! I have been to many nail shops and the techs were rude and unwelcoming. They have a customer for life and my nail tech was hilarious. I appreciated his humor with the day I was having. 😊

Went in for a fill, I had dagger tips and asked if they could change the shape to coffin. The guy said yes no problem. I now have 10 fingers all with a different nail tip shape. Some are rounded, some are coffin, some flat with round edges.. very unhappy

Worst manicure ever. Older lady did mine this time and it is HIDEOUS. All the nails in my left hand are uneven and all but one on my right hand. No shine on one finger. She broke 2 of my nails so now theyre shorter. And she used the dremel until my nails hurt and I wanted was a no chip. And I did not appreciate her talking about me or my nails in another language. THAT IS JUST RUDE.BUT IF YOU MUST GO THERE REQUEST ANYONE BUT HER!

I have been going for about a year and when the owner does my nails, they are very nice, but lately, he has been busy with the new store. I tried calling, but was told he is busy with construction. Was directed to the website, but you gave to create an account to leave an e-mail. The manager at the 173 location is very nice, but I have been back twice to have lifted and mushspeen nails corrected. Two days later the Polish oesled and 3 other nails lifted. I just want what I paid for. Now I have to start over to find a god nail tech.Deeply saddened and disappointed. Great people.L Cook

I am giving nail lounge 2 stars because i was injured there. My pointer finger hurt on my left hand and i thought it was maybe from the light for gel nails, but it got worse over time. I had the nails on for about 3 weeks before i decided to soak them and remove them at home because the pain became so bad. After the nail released i doscovered an infected sore while filing my nails down they went to far and now i have an infection in my finger. The nail tech i had kept looking away. As long as he was watching what he was doing he did a great job. I loved the design he did and the colors he chose. I asked for a dragonfly and he came up with a beautiful one. But i wont be back. I dont understand why he would continue to put a nail and the acrylic on top of the broke nail. Yes i know your thinking well how did you not notice it. I have bad vision so no i didnt see it and all my nails were warm from filing and what not so i ignored it. He had to have seen it. Its about one third of my finger. The place was clean and everyone was really friendly. I didnt wait but maybe 10 mins. Before they began but ive never before been injured during the application of the nails.
