The speed and courtesy were excellent! I called early, and was able to go ahead with most of my plans. The dispatcher and plumber were both polite, and explained things clearly.I gave them four stars only because I wish it had cost less. The service was great.

My gutter was overflowing. I called them to check the drain for me.. I was not able to be there in person, and later on I looked at it the drain in the ground was totally clear.. yet they charged me for $700 for doing NOTHING!When I asked them why are you taking this much money for, they replied your son signed the order.. it is his fault, not ours..!!!

Wow... just wow. Do yourself a HUGE favor and do NOT call these guys. Still have a small leak in my sink facet. I got the pleasure of paying $80 for a guy to show up at my house for 20 mins to tell me that ... oh you can maybe replace the sink facet ..that will fix it, or you can spend maybe $395 in labor + tax to maybe have me find the problem and then try to repair it but not sure if that will work. Recommend you replace it. Oh.. its $485 + tax for them to do the install. So I still have my leak, I will get a new facet and will not call these guys again. I get it that people have to make money, but make sure that if you call Roto-Screwers to first do your own homework. They are not out to help you.

I am very happy with the service Gio did. They were very professional and helpful. I used 2 sons plumbing before them. The guy was not able to send the camera down and told us they need to cut the main pipe to see what’s going on.Gio was able to blade the pipe and send the camera in no time.They were careful keep our house clean and cleaned up the whole bathroom after they were done.I would definitely use them again.

I have my thoughts about companys coming in saying they can get the job done. But, Aman came in and did his job. He explained what he was doing and why he had to do it. For someone like me, I appreciated that. I also appreciated that he was on time before time, so I didnt have to sit around waiting all day. I would recommend him and this company to anyone. We had technician Fred P.He was at our house 2 days as it was a 2 day job. He came on labor day weekend. He fix my master shower and 2nd floor shower as my ex husband Jerry rigged everything a year ago.Fred was professional and explain everything he was doing. I would ask for him again in the future if I need more help with my home projects. His mannerisms is kind and polite.Unfortunately, he did have to make a hole into my ceiling and closet BUT he found the culprit and fix it for more years to come in our home.I think the only thing is that roto Rooter is a bit pricey.However, they do work weekends, holidays, and their call center says they answer 24/7. They are also very polite on the phone.

Great service from Gio at the Seattle location. Very thorough assessment and quick resolution of our plumbing issue in our 100+ year old home. He was very experienced and professional. Was able to get an appointment same day, and he arrived right when he said he would be there. Very pleased with our service and would highly recommend Gio in the future!

24/7 hr emergency service seems to means you can leave a message with the service and someone will call you back the next day, not that they can come out to you at night if you dont already have an appointment. I was told at 1 am that they were all booked up . I guess it is possible that someone called before me on a Sunday night and BOOKED up everyone that would go to an emergency call after midnight but I think its more than likely that the only people working the graveyard shift are the phone service people. Perhaps Im just totally misunderstanding and 24hr emergency service does only mean for the phone part of business. I called a few plumbers and all had the same type of live answering service & no one could actually book a plumber until the next day..

Gio came out to unclog a drain that was backed up. He was super friendly and polite and very professional and quick. He was knowledgeable and very courteous and patient. We will definitely use them again

Both toilets wouldnt flush and water backed up into the showers when we tried to clear with a plunger. Knowing that indicated a blockage in our line, we called Roto-Rooter who sent someone out in 45 minutes. Learning we were on a septic system he suspected the problem was the drain into the septic tank. Absolutely correct. The job wasnt an easy one with the system located under the crawl space of the deck. Roots were assisting in the blockage. He worked until the line was cleared and free, explaining everything to us as he worked. Very knowledgeable and professional.

Aman and William came during the service window. They were able to enter in my crawlspace to replace a segment of pipe. Water is back on and everything is working. They were quick and efficient.

Fred replaced a combo shower and tub valve and faucet set for us. Job is more significant than it sounds. Wall behind tub needed to be opened to access the pipes and valve. Did professional and clean work Was very attentive

We had our drains backed up into the bathtub. Scott C was the plumber who came out. He was on time and professional. He listened to every concern I had, addressed all my questions, and gave me advice. He was upfront about the cost as well. By the end of the service call, he had the drain cleared, cleaned up his mess and put everything back together. I know that Ill have to get some repairs done on the drain line under the house at a later date. Ill be calling Scott directly to set that up after weve budgeted it. Aman and a new recruit were here to fix a pipe that was in a tricky location. They cut the wall and bad pipe away and installed a very nice coupling. He was very polite and professional. The downside is the prices are fairly high for the time worked, but he was nice enough to discount some of the parts and fees. Sometimes in an emergency situation you have to pay for the experience and knowledge too. I would recommend them for people who can afford it, or for those in dire need of plumbing repairs. I give them 5 stars for the professionalism and job well done, with a warning about the prices.Edit: Roto-rooter also engages in review manipulation by asking customers to give positive reviews for a chance to win all of their service charge back. When you read 4 or 5 star reviews on this, keep in mind that many of these people believe that theyll win. Look for the reviews that mention the employee by name. That said, their service was decent so it earned at least a 4-star, but their deceptive practices for review manipulation definitely removes a star.

We called with somewhat of an emergency as water was coming out from under our lower level toilet anytime water was turned on anywhere in the hoise. Once the technician Gio was contacted and on scene he very quickly assessed our situation (on septic) and promptly got out the camera and was able to unclog the line. He also took the time to explain our problem to me. He was very friendly and professional!

I highly doubt that I will ever use Roto Rooter again. Lack of communication, waiting over eight hours for a plumber and having to call a supervisor to get that plumber to show up was just too much for me. Add to that the fact that this repair was to fix a leak from work they originally did. The only good thing about this repair was that there was no charge because the leak happened within a year of the original repair and was still under warranty

Worst communication between dispatch and the technicians! It took 3 days to get someone out to my house because they would give me a window for service time and then no one would show up! So I had to call them back, get another window and then no one would show up. I lost track of how many times this happened. Absolutely terrible. The only reason I’m giving an extra star is because the actual technicians were nice.

Roto-rooter had someone on-site to help my tenants within an hour of calling. Gio was our technician and was incredibly thorough. Knowing that I was the land lord he kept me in the loop with phone calls and sent videos from where the roots were in the pipe, to where they were marked for repair outside the house. The service technician Gio from Roto-Rooter was very helpful and effective at removing roots from my side sewer. We have a 100 year old house with an old side sewer and the roots problem is a recurring issue that causes clogs and slow drains. Gio was very effective at unclogging the lines with his cutting tool and then preparing the video record of the whole sewer line to help me feel assured that it was completely cleared. Gio was also very professional, courteous and helpful in making recommendations for future maintenance on this old site sewer line.

The technician came out late on a Saturday afternoon within 3 hours of our call. Unfortunately the issue was more than they could fix, but they did correctly diagnose the problem. This does come at a price: they charged nearly $500 to attempt to snake our lines (which took about 30 min) although they did also offer us a discount on the future work that needed to be done. Given their responsiveness and professionalism, I would call them again despite there being cheaper options.

Gio, the technician, arrived as promised, listened to our description of what happened and quickly laid out the options available to take care of the problem along with the cost of each option. From there Gio performed the job very efficiently and was wrapped up in less than an hour! Gio took a lot of care to protect our carpet and cleaned up after himself. We are happy with the service we received and the professional manner it was performed with.

Drains are now working and thanks to the camera and locator, I know exactly where the problem area is.To anyone considering this company: Yes, at first it seemed a little pricy, but I consider it worth it since: 1) they came out the same day, 2) would not have charged full price if they didn’t fix the problem, 3) and because of the camera and locator I now know exactly where the underground mis-aligned pipes are that are causing this issue. This will save me lots of future digging.

Arrived, same day. Used borescope to view conditions before and after cleanout. Found problems with diagnosis, suggested scope of future repairs, if planned.

So expensive, our issue was water leak in the ceiling and they had to cut out drywall and replace bad gasket. It costed me $1700+ not including drywall fix. I had to find another contractor to fix the drywall which costed additional $600. Another thing I’m not satisfied was that the plumber spent one hour chatting with another employee in their company from a different department before they actually started the work. I’m not sure why the other person was needed since I didn’t see he helped anything. The good thing is that they found the issue and fixed the problem at once.

Scott C and his partner Paul showed up earlier than I expected and did excellent work. They were fast, friendly, helpful, and skilled. I’d call them again in a second.

Scott and Paul did an awesome job with the the many miscellaneous plumbing tasks that I had. I’m handy enough when it comes to repairs but in all honesty I’m glad they came out and did the job correctly and quickly.
