This place is awesome. Prices almost defy belief. You cant get anything for $5 these days except a terrible sandwich at Subway or a great haircut at Smittys. Its a true landmark, as Belynda told me.

Been going there for 15 years. Sharon always does a great job. Friendly place. Nice prices. Good old fashioned no frills barber shop.

Everything is fine until its just Bob there. Get ready for Canadian Healthcare wait times even with a small queue. 15—FIFTHTEEN minutes per person. If you see him there, leave, wait for another day. Sharon is the one to go.

I brought in my 18-month old because I knew for a fact I was going to have to hold him down while somebody cut his hair. Belinda kindly went along with it and I told her to just get it done as fast as she can because Im going to have to hold him down oh, she accommodated my needs and made the haircut as fast as possible with a screaming baby. The price would not be any of those kids salons and her professionalism was amazing. I know seeing 18 month come in and he saying I dont know how hes going to act, isnt what your ideal customer is however she was great and Id recommend anybody to go there if they need a good haircut.

Covid protocols NOT followed. Both barber and customer in front of me not wearing a mask. Furthermore, the barber was clearly sick. She was coughing and blew her nose...we left immediately.

I love this place. Ive had my hair cut by both women, so dont go by others reviews. I go wednesdays and have never had any issues, in fact, its the only place I go! for $5.50, I wouldnt think of going elsewhere. I always give her at least a $5 tip and I still pay way less than the next barber. Oh, I also get trimmed up with her razor and I love it!

Horrible... you dont get what you ask for... then when you ask her to fix it she gets really upset and confrontational and says youre only paying 5.50... at which point I told her she had terrible customer service and walked out and she said shes taking over the shop and every one loves me... lol... then she called me a loser as I went out the door... UNBELIEVABLE... Ive never had such a bad haircut and one of the worst customer service experiences EVER... I have go somewhere else now to fix it. Dont go here!!!!... not worth the treatment you get vs the price... pay more somewhere else and actually get treated like a human being. I hope these people go OUT OF BUSINESS!!

One can get a quick haircut for only $5.50. I go here every time I need a haircut because of price and adequacy of service. The building is old and not fancy inside, but what do I care. Depending on day and time you arrive, there may be a waiting line.

If you go to Smittys, make sure you sit down with Sharon. She does awesome work for $5.50, and always gets it right.Steer clear of Belynda. Ive given her multiple opportunities to get a simple haircut right, and she has failed me more than once. If you have a beard, she will wreck it...even if your not asking for a beard trim.Sharon is the only reason I even go back, and the only reason Smittys gets more than one star from me currently.

Yeh! It might be cheap and you get what you pay for!!!!! My husband asked for a short hair cut and the first thing she does is buzz cut him right down the center so there is no turning back. There were lines in his hair like it was cut by a lawn mower. Our dog growled and barked at him until she heard his voice. Also the barber woman Was Dirty. The tools werent cleaned between customers. For myself I have long hair and I wanted just a trim. After I saw what was going on I walked out. If you just want to be bald its a good place to go.My husband says he usually goes to the barber SHARON. She is AWESOME. ALWAYS does him right. So if shes there youll be ok. Just dont use any other barber there.

This was the second time I had been here with my son. What a waste of money! I asked for haircuts and all we could get was a trim.My son and I still have long hair because the lady couldnt understand what was meant by a hair cut. Off the ears, above the neck, and let him see out his eyes, but nope we will be finishing the job at home.May be a cheap price but it is worse than a cheap haircut!
