Fantastic. A storm knocked out our ac one afternoon. I called Maddox at about 5:15 pm and got the answering service. The tech called me within a minute. He was at my house within the hour, diagnosed the issue very quickly, and fixed it. He was done by 7 pm. He was knowledgeable, nice, and efficient. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

I’ve been a happy customer of Maddox’s for years. Matt Hileman is the tech that comes to the house to service our heat pump. He is always on time, very polite & courteous, wears a mask & covers over his shoes to keep the house clean. He’s super friendly and very knowledgeable about our heat pump. I signed up for Maddoxs energy service agreement. Today was the first service appointment. All went well. Gotta give a shout-out to technician Jordan. Along with the usual cleaning and maintenance, Jordan solved a wiring issue in my air handler that did not allow the supplemental electric heat to operate. My wife and I now look forward to consistently warm air in future winters!

I placed a call with Maddox the morning of 5/27/2021 as my Hvac system and stopped working at 9:30 the night before. In a quick and timely manner they found the problem and made the repairs to get my Hvac back up and running.

I have a sturdy but old (at least 70 years!) oil boiler and its hard to find anyone willing to work on it, let alone able. Maddox was friendly, polite, took the time to explain things that will allow me to fix this issue in the future, and were just exceedingly nice. Ive never had an experience like this with a service company. I wish they did EVERY kind of work!

Our guy “Brandon” was FANTASTIC he was very informative, on time rather earlier than the scheduled time which I was very pleased! I was very excited that he took the time to explain what he was doing. Why he was doing it and through to make us know what to look for in the future to avoid future problems. He told me that they have a twice yearly program for a minimal cost that I am interested in for the maintenance of our central heating and cooling unit. I would recommend Maddox to anyone needing help with their heating and cooling system!!!! I am very pleased with this company!

We’ve had our Maddox installed HVAC for over two years now. I called them today around 1 to see if they could have someone come out and check our system because of what I thought was some unusual sounds coming from the outside unit. To my surprise they sent someone out within an hour. The service tech, Travis I believe, was great. He did a full system check and found everything to be operating correctly. Just yesterday, the heat pump stopped working at my rental property. Their technician, Travis came within 30 minutes of my call. Im trying to be fair in this review, so let me just say that everyone was pleasant and professional, but thats about it.Power went out to about 1/3 of one my rental properties. Maddox was able to make it out the very next day so we chose them to check it out. They sent someone out who spent over an hour trying to figure it out. He concluded that hed have to come back during a different day for what amounted to an estimated half days worth of work.So we made the appointment and I showed up to let in...a different dude who had to start from square one. After spending another 1 1/2 hours trying to figure it out and not being successful, I was told wed have to make yet another appointment. So we did.I show up to the third appointment, let in the same guy (thankfully), and left after about 45 minutes. Lo and behold, they had left within 2 hours according to our tenant, and the power was back on so wed guessed they had fixed it.Alas, it was not to be. The same circuit failed a few days later. So I called my uncle, the blessed Ray Pinchbeck, and he had the problem figured out within 20 minutes, made a trip to Fosters Electrical, and fixed it within about 2 hours.I then received a bill from Maddox for $125.Now, I suspect that Maddox knew that theyd have to spend more time to actually have fixed the problem and just reset something to at least get the power back on, but guess what? Its a rental property. If I have to spend $500 to fix it, thats just a tax write-off to me. Moral of the story is this: Id have been perfectly willing to shell out more money if theyd have simply fixed the problem, but they didnt, so this review is a thing now.Maddox, if yall feel any part of this isnt factual or is unfair, you have my number.

Pretty scummy experience with these guys. $99 service call to be told the compressor wasnt working and I needed a new AC system. Had another guy look at it, refill the freeon, and its good to go. Absolutely would not recommend.

Our heat died on a cold winter day. Maddox had a brand new system installed very shortly afterward. They were very professional and did an outstanding job. The price was very reasonable as well. I am glad I found this company and will continue to hire them to service our HVAC.

Great service and knowledgeable technicians.

I had to get my HVAC looked at after a home inspection. I had Maddox come out to diagnose the problem. The technician was completely wrong in his diagnostics which resulted in me spending thousands of dollars to fix something that wasn’t the problem. The actual issue was very minor and was a fraction of the cost. I’m not sure if the technician was trying to upsell or if it was a very very very bad mistake. Either way it cost me thousands with an S.

Nick Jones and Josh Miller came out the very next day after I had called for an installation of a new heat pump. Thank God for cancellations, lol. It was 140 degrees in the attic and 80 plus outside. They worked through it all and got the job done. They were very mannerable and polite. Thanks guys for a job well done.
