Horrible, receptionist act like she couldnt figure out how to service me. I knew it was gonna be a problem from the conversation we had... She does not care about the business. It is a job to her.. I said fix my car imaGonna pay cause I dont live here. Staying with a friend that live around the corner, literally. Called me at 1:30. For what I dont know. Went pick my car up at 3:00pm employees was still there and told me I dont know what to tell you.. I said can you call your boss I need my car they where supposed to fix it and I would pick it up at 3pm. I made it to the place at 3:08pm they had to closed earlier to not still be there.. I live in houston. Have a college training for my son that graduated. My cost him his career.... your receptionist doesnt care about your business like she should. Really I dont want them to fix anything...just give me my car.... unhappy costumer...

Was told at a Jeep dealership that I had an exhaust leak and would probably need a catalytic converter as well. Called around to several local muffler shops and when I spoke to Ruben, he gave me a ballpark quote that was less than the others. I arrived and he came and put my Jeep on one of the shop racks, pointed out a loose coupling behind the catalytic converter and agreed that I had an exhaust leak. I gathered a few items out of my Jeep and went into the waiting area of his shop. In less than 10 minutes, he walked in, said the leak was fixed, and that I was ready to go! Said that IF the code showed back up, he’d be happy to install the converter, but said that I probably didn’t need one to begin with. When I asked to pay for his time and service, he shook my hand and said “no charge”. I’d recommend anyone who reads this to visit “The Muffler Shop” in Lufkin for anything you may need done to your vehicle. The site only allowed 5 stars but the customer service is an easy 10! Took care of my Dodge 2008 3500 6.7L & did a muffler delete & added a 4 to 8 inch exhaust tip 🙌🏽. He also did a full delete on my 2007 Duramax 2500HD & added a 4 inch straight pipe & a 4 to 6 inch exhaust tip & it sounds amazing !!!

This is the best place in Lufkin to bring your vehicle for custom exhaust. These guys are great and really know how to fabricate anything. After they built my dual exhaust with tuned pipes, they custom built some side steps on each side of my van which are truly unique and tougher than anything else available on the market. Mr. Ramos has been nice to me over the years and does great work. However, an employees attitude reflects a business and your experience with that business. I will not be yelled at, spoke to like I am an idiot, then continue to be a customer. My experience was not with Mr. Ramos himself, but with an employee that obviously does not like his job. It unfortunately ruined my day and the rapport between me and the muffler shop.
