I can’t say enough about Cook Tires in Lufkin. We had a nasty blowout in the RV Friday afternoon during rush hour on the Moffit overpass - not a great spot to be. AAA didn’t have a towing service that had a jack big enough to help us. An officer recommended Cook Tire as a possibility. I called them @ 4:55pm, just 5 minutes before closing time. They could have easily said, “Sorry ma’am, we’re about to close.” But they didn’t, they came to our rescue. I’d like to thank Adrian Taylor for risking life and limb on that overpass, as it was the front driver side tire that blew, and the near 100 degree temperature. The blowout damaged the brake line and with the help of Steven Nichols they were able to give enough of a fix to get us to our KOA. Adrian was our escort and Steven followed behind to ensure our safe passage. In addition, Steven Nichols put a message out on his FB page to locate a mobile mechanic in the area to help us out (which he certainly didn’t have to do). Ronnie Clinton of Midnight Kustom Auto Repair reached out to us Friday night and was able to do the repair Saturday evening! We are SO blessed to have met all these gentlemen. That’s what I call GREAT customer service.

I had the best experience buying wheels and tires from Cook Tire! Our salesman, Kyle, went above and beyond to get our custom wheels shipped in overnight and make sure everything was ready for our daughter’s Jeep in time for her 16th birthday. They also were $1500 cheaper than every other place in town. I would definitely recommend Cook Tire for your next set of tires and wheels. Great hometown service at an even better price!

My wife was at a Saturday soccer game when she “heard a hissing noise” from one of the tires. This was at 11:15 am. I called ahead to see if they could perhaps stay late since they closed at noon. They were very accommodating stating that “we’ll be here.” I got the tire to them around 11:45. It was turned around and in my truck bed by noon. Balanced and ready to go! Did NOT want to drive around on that crazy accordion spare that Chrysler threw in there as an after thought. Thanks Cook Tire!!!

Had an issue with my tires and was out of town. Had an emergency situation and they got me in first thing in the morning and had me on my way with in two hours. Wrong diagnosis on my vehicle. Wont be going back here. They told me all kinds of things were wrong and my car needed framework done before it could be aligned. I took it over to Community Collision expecting to spend about $4,000. CC did the analysis, aligned my car. Thats all they did and i was on tbe road again.

On two separate occasions, once for tires and once for brakes, the folks at Cook have turned away my business because I didnt need what I thought I did. That sort of integrity is only one of the reasons I come back- theyre friendly, prompt and do great work.

Do NOT recommend at all. Took car in for an alignment and asked them to check out popping noise in rear. Came back with a list of expensive repairs some of which did not even relate to the type of vehicle I own. I do understand that my car did need work done on it but was it really even looked at. Needless to say I did not get my repairs done there but on a positive note they didnt charge me anything to look at it.
