Was recommended Gateway through a friend from work. I had several issues with calipers and brake lines, wasn’t quite sure the initial problem. I worked with Wayne every time I’ve been there and he is a wonderful and helpful guy, got me set up every time. I’m new to the area and hadn’t any mechanics to trust until I went to Gateway. They will definitely be getting all my business from now on! Highly recommend these folk!

This is a really great tire center. I was on my way to Houston Texas coming from Arkansas when I had a flat. The wait was 2-3 hours long and I didn’t really have time to wait so Ronnie really stuck his neck out for me and was a big help. They have excellent service!!

I called yesterday to make sure they would have the tires in stock today. They promised they would have all 4 tires and get me in first thing this morning. I arrived, gave my name, and found out they had sold two of my tires as soon as they came in. They did not have comparable substitutes to make up for breaking their promise. They wanted me to wait until this afternoon to get all 4 tires. I had to accept 2 tires because I need them now and cannot wait. That means I have to come back for the other 2, costing me anther trip, more gas, more time... Its a pain dealing with these people who dont value their customers. Ill have to keep looking for a reliable tire service company. These guys are a bit better than Discount Tire though

The staff is friendly. They got a popcorn machine and a water dispenser in there so when you do have to wait for a little while they try to make things comfortable which is great.

Wayne took great care of correcting a problem with a bad tire. Will definitely go there again.

This place has excellent customer service. I brought in my dump trailer to swap out the factory tires with 14 ply heavy duty tires. The install was inexpensive and they even fixed a nail hole in my spare tire at no cost. Theyre also a great place to go to fix lawn mower tires.

This is by far, the best shop I have ever used. I have been a customer off and on for 20 years, as I have moved quite often. Five stars is an understatement. Go here for best service and honest work.

Wonderful customer service. Have been going to them for several years and have gone a great job on my vehicle. They even have a courtesy vehicle to drop you off or pick you up, if the work will take a long time. The prices are very competitive and will work to be in the range you are looking for. I have always come out happy with their end results.

Helped me diagnose a tire manufacturing flaw even though they didnt sell me the tires. They seem to have the most knowledgeable front end guys in town. Manager and technician were very nice and willing to explain the issue in detail and helped me know what to do to resolve it. Would definitely recommend for alignments and front end work in general.

It’s not that they weren’t wearing masks, even though that’s nasty and morally disgusting as well.... it’s that one of the employees was sniffling constantly wiping his nose with his hand then touching everything. I don’t want those germs anywhere near my car.

These guys are awesome! We are a landscape company in Indianapolis and have 13 vehicles. Tires, alignments and general service are needed weekly. I was traveling through Texas and realized I needed an alignment/balance on the front wheels. I called multiple companies during my trip to see if I could get quick service and get back on the road. They said “come on by and we’ll take care of you”. Our Van was on the lift within 15 minutes and I was out of there within an hour with an alignment and balance/rotation. They were friendly to everyone, they had a pep in their step with everything, the waiting room was comfortable, and the price was very fair. That’s service!! 5 stars is an understatement!

I was hoping to have my tires changed today, but there was a man who repetively moved his hand from his nose to the other objects around the workplace. I cant tolerate this unhygienic behavior and it cost Gateway Tire & Service Center our business today.

The people are friendly the prices are good. I came last week need four tires for my semi trailer they only had two thats was fine they will order the other two cool. This is what went wrong first time there for two tires 3hrs not cool second back to get the other two. It took two hrs for them a total of 5hrs lost in my day thats a half a days work and not cool we were hoping to bring more truck and trailers but we will lose to much time and money. All four tire rotation and oil change with my own oil and filter for $95, not too shabby. Pretty steadily busy, so would recommend getting bigger things like tire rotations set up in advance by calling in.

Gateway Tire and Service Center is my personal choice for what I need for my car and truck. Friendly knowledgeable folks that actually care about you. I operated a tire and service shop myself for 20 years and these guys take care of their customers like I did. As a matter of fact I saw a number of my old customers there. Never in as many times as Ive been by the Gateway John Reddit location have I seen a frown on a customers face...and I mean never. Great folks. I will continue going there because they handle my needs and requests properly and completely every time.Today I got a new battery installed and my oil and filter changed. I used to do all this myself but the years have taken their toll.I recommend Gateway Tire to everyone. Both thumbs up for sure.

Awesome service, very reasonably priced. They repaired a flat on my Class C RV rear dually for just $10, then wrapped the flexible valve extensions in tape where they rub against the wheel cover openings for no charge. I was amazed. They also do oil changes and other light maintenance work. Highly recommend this business.

Corey went above and beyond when he answered my distress call. My sister was being life-flighted to Houston and I had a flat. He promised to get me in and out so I could get back on the road to be with her. He kept that promise and was friendly, understanding of my emotional state, and did what he said hed do. When our tow truck arrived, he had a stall cleared out and waiting for my van. We were in and out within about 25 minutes. Thanks to Gateway, I was able to spend the last hours of her life with her. Forever grateful.

Tire was flat. Aired it up and drove directly to Gateway Tire & Service at 12821 E 31st St in Tulsa, OK for assistance. The air held in the tire en route. Arrived & was immediately assisted with advisement of at least a one-hour wait to check out the tire to determine the cause of the flat and then the time needed to repair it - if its possible to repair.They found a nail in the tire, repaired the tire (for no charge), and all was completed in LESS than an hour!You guys are Awesome! Thank you so much! :) Great work & strong positive recommendation is being given to family, friends, & colleagues.

Have used this place many times for multiple vehicles in the past 35 years even befor it moved to the new location. They have always helped me make the choices needed to maintain my vehicles. The best part is they will check air pressure and air up if needed for thier customers at no cost.

Gateway and their staff are awesome. My low air light came on at 6:30 this morning. Even though theyd just gotten there when I arrived at 7, they were super friendly and didnt make me wait or anything, just asked me what was wrong and got to work. They fixed my tires and didnt charge me a thing for it.

At Gateway they take care of the customer. COREY, WAYNE, RICHARD, FROM the front counter and CARLOS FROM the back are all about the customer and getting the job done right the first time. And if anything is not to your liking they will make it right I can assure you of that. Never had a problem. Just drop in and see one of these guys and they will fix you right up.

Usually good service but they tend to make some mistakes and not always do what Ive asked so make sure you check that all the work was done before you leave.

I cant begin to thank these gentlemen enough for seeing a native Houstonian at the last second because of a flat. I thought it was going to be a real mess explaining things to the last patient I had to deliver to back in the Houston area; instead, they got her done and I was only slightly behind schedule instead of by hours.

This place is great. Great atmosphere to be in. They provide the best customer service which is high quality for a good price. Their tires are about 30% cheaper then the other tire shops and better quality.

As i sit in another tire shop for another alignment and new tires, Im thinking about the 80 dollars i spent at this store. I was told today that my tires could have never been properly aligned because its all wheel alignment and needed a part on the back. my tires in the back were literally leaning in at the top and out at the bottom. I saw it with my own eyes! I did complain that my car alignment wasnt right and you people told me I had bad tires. Which i had confirmed was not true, but you sent me away. I had just purchased new ones in january and you were doing an alignment in march! So thank you so much for taking my money and not doing your job! Ill sure pass the word.

Staff can be extremely rude. There is one older guy here that is very condescending. Theyve lost the center piece of a Honda rim (the H) and theyve stripped the valve stem cap on one of my tires on my new altima. For your own sake, go anywhere else. Oh, and they put the wrong tires on my moms truck. They wanted her to get a certain tire, that was of a poor quality, but she wanted a different one. They put what they wanted on there. She didnt notice until she got home. They fixed it when my dad chewed them out, but this bottom feeding level of customer service shouldnt have happened.

Avoid. I used Gateway for 15 years. Quality has plummeted this last year. I cannot trust them with my wife and daughters cars anymore. During the last six months they:* Broke a stud on my daughters car and sent her down the road with only three lugs in place.* Smashed down the valve stems by mis-aligning the hubcaps on TWO wheels on my daughters car.* Let air into the brake lines and returned the car with the brake pedal sinking to the floor, and brake fluid sprayed on the cars paint.When the managers heard me complain to the kid working the counter about these dangerous mistakes last time I was there, the managers hot-footed it from the office out into the shop and stayed there so as to avoid talking to me (the older guy and the black guy both ran). The kid working the counter was nice and arranged to fix the damages.They ALWAYS over-torque lug nuts (I always correct this with a torque wrench when I get the cars home from Gateway, but didnt last time because I was working out of town).Last night my wife had a flat in the rain. The nice man who stopped to help her was unable to change her tire because of the insanely over-torqued lug nuts. She called me. I drove out there with a breaker-bar and was able to loosen the lugs in the dark and get my wife home without calling a wrecker.They ALWAYS wildly over-inflate, or under-inflate tires. Pressures vary from 28 p.s.i. to 43 p.s.i. among the wheels each time I get a car back home and check with my digital gauge.I dont know why Gateway went off a cliff this last year. I suspect from the angry feeling atmosphere I saw in their service area that they pay their working men too meager a wage, and the managers treat them badly. Whatever the cause, Im tired of hoping they will reform. Im done with them.

Went to the Gateway at 31st and 129th and Ryan took great care of me. Had a 4wd problem and he gave me some advice over the phone and handled my issue pretty much as soon as I brought my parts in. He educated me as to what was wrong and why. They will definitely have my business in the future. So at least the 4x4 side of the shop was EXCELLENT! Thanks Ryan!

I used them 1 time. When I left with new tires, that they recommended. The steering wheel vibrated very badly, as soon as I drove away from the store. I didnt feel like the were helpful in solving the issue. And had to go to another place to have it resolved.

I have bought my tires from gateway for years, they have free rotating and balance. Trouble is they cant seem to get to it. They told me it would be about an hour to an hour and a half wait. After 2hours waiting and numerous people going around me I went and got my keys and left my vehicle had never been touched. Looks like its time to try someone else

The worst service Ive EVER EXPERIENCED! DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE! They charged me a crazy high price on a simple alignment after purchasing brand new tires! The allignment was never done! The machanic lied to my face! This caused me to waste over a $1,000 in new tires and service!
