When I went to go pick it up I was in shock, because I’ve never seen this ring so sparkly before. It made me so happy. They are super sweet there and very good with their prices. We had my fiances ring re-sized here recently, and they were fantastic. Explained each step and recommendation and took care of us while we waited. You could tell that they care about doing a good job and making customers comfortable in the process. Worth the 30-minute drive from La Grange, and well come back again when we need repair or service.

I called several jewelers to find someone to help me resize an engagement ring by the next day and they beat everyone in Louisville when it came to price and quality. They didnt charge me a significant amount more to rush to resizing, they inspected the ring for quality, and offered to improve the settings of all of the gems. Definitely have a loyal customer now.

Allen and his family were really great to meet and I will definitely be making them my go-to jewelers. Dont let the size of the shop fool you-- this place is the real deal. After I spent months working with my fiance to find the perfect setting to put an heirloom stone, I realized I had no idea where to go to actually put the stone in the setting. This step was harder than I thought by far, especially because it meant I had to trust whoever I was giving my grandmother and mothers diamond to work on. I didnt know where to go that would actually do the work in town and not just ship it off to possibly get lost or replaced with an imposter. I also try to shop local for these sorts of things.I tried all the big stores, and got offers ranging from $300 to $600 just to set the stone (because I didnt buy the setting or stone from them). Then I realized that a better route might be to look for a jewelry repair shop instead of a jewelry store. Glad I did! I read all the good google reviews on here and called for a quote-- $125 to put a one carat stone with an odd, outdated cut in a platinum setting that didnt actually quite fit. It came back looking better than I could have imagined. After I traded in some scrap, it set me back $70.I will definitely be buying the bands and anything else I ever buy that is made of metal. My fiance is in love with her ring, and I couldnt be happier with the level of professionalism or price.

Its a small store, and they keep costs down by not having a lot of on-hand inventory. Everyone that works there is great. Nice, professional, and genuinely interested in getting you what you want for as little cost to you as possible.I showed them a picture of the setting Id found at Jareds. They ended up getting me the ring for thousands less than Id have paid at a chain store. The diamond fell out of my engagement ring and I had been holding on to it, trying to decide if I wanted to mail it back to the location that sold it to my husband (to repair), or if I wanted to get it fixed somewhere in town. Of course I wanted to take my treasured possession to someone I trust. As a result, I did my due diligence and found that the Jewelry Repair Professionals were highly rated and well recommended. Upon visiting, the owner of the store immediately put me at ease and said that he would be happy to fix my ring and gave me a very reasonable price to do so. When I picked it up, I swear I fell in love with my husband all over again after looking at the repaired engagement ring, (lol)! Not only was the diamond beautifully placed back in its setting, (snug & secure) but it was shiny and sparkly. So much so that my wedding band looked dingy in comparison. After searching online and reading all the reviews from various locations I decided on Jewelry Repair Professionals. As soon as I walked into their small store I immediately was welcomed and the owner Allen who is a master Jeweler spent almost 20 minutes with me looking at the diamond, explaining my options, giving a bit of the history of the diamond, and answering all my questions I had without any pushiness or up-selling. He put me at ease and I felt a genuineness and sincerity that is rare these days. Their pricing was very fair and the turn around time was faster than originally estimated. The engagement ring in the new setting all cleaned up looks spectacular and my fiance is still blown away. Do not be fooled by their small appearance or lack of big fancy store and radio ads they are the real deal and treat their customers amazingly well. I will be going back for the wedding bands and all my jewelry needs in the future, and I implore anyone looking for a quality jeweler that you can trust to go here. The places that spend a ton of money on advertising have nothing on this place. I cant speak highly enough of Allen and his family; they are freindly and beyond competent. I never thought that I would have a go to jeweler, but after my first experience with them I can say that this is my familys go to jeweler. In short they are trustworthy, straightforward, and will not compromise on craftsmanship or quality.To elaborate, this was a place I ventured out to, to investigate after casting the engagement ring that I would present to the woman who is now my wife. Allen assessed the stones, the ring and told me offhand that the stones would not fit, that they were off, and different stones would be needed. He examined it with a loupe to be sure, measured it in front of me, and thats when I realized that MY original measurements had been off, by .02 mm. But he caught it, by eye, almost immediately. Allen found a supplier to replace the stones AND set them at a TOTAL lower price than other jewelers had quoted me, without seeing the ring or the complications involved.Working with her hands everyday, my wife has knocked a stone loose once or twice and Allen has tightened them right back up! I like to think he did it for free because he likes us, but I think it just goes back to that old school ethic of guaranteeing your work. As they were so integral in our engagement and marriage, weve decided that jewelry repair professionals will be our family jeweler for life.If you value integrity and craftsmanship; dont be fooled by the modest appearance of the business- THESE are the people to see!

My family and I have been working with Mr. Allen Lee for over 12 years. He is knowledgeable, personable, and is an absolute perfectionist. Mr. Lee has made several rings, a necklace, and multiple repairs for us; all at a reasonable price. We used to see him at big name stores and were so happy to see he had opened his own shop. At Jewelry Repair Professionals you feel welcomed just as if you were family.With my last ring Mr. Lee was very patient with my indecisiveness. I lost a heart-shaped stone and was leaving town soon. Went here on a last chance effort after visiting several other places that didnt have any heart-shaped stones. The were so nice and found several stones that would work for my ring. I was there maybe 30-45 while they set the stone and polished it. I will forever bring any jewelry back to them for repairs. I originally went in to have a ring sized ( they had come recommended by a friend of mine.) they did a great job with the sizing, they were prompt and very friendly. LOVE these people!!! SO I took in a junky ring to be repaired because it is my favorite even though its costume jewelry at best. They were very knowledgeable and friendly! They explained all bout my crappy metal ring, my words not theirs, and were able to repair it for me. I offered them payment but they said that because they couldnt guarantee the repair (its a really cheap ring) that they did not want to take my money. The man even showed me how to repair it myself should it break again. This is a real family owned and operated business with high integrity. I feel like they take their work and their word seriously! I will definitely send my business their way in the future!

The main jeweler here was very honest, knowledgeable, and straight forward. When it comes to such things as jewelry where most folks are personally unable to qualify the nuances of the materials used in value on their own, its good to deal with a vendor/Craftsman that shows personal integrity. I spoke with the older of the two gentleman on site when I stopped in, he was very direct, and honest, he throughly answered, and explained the answer to every question I posed. When the subject was that he was unfamiliar with (my jewelry interest tend to fall within the realm of very obscure techniques, and extremely rare materials) he was upfront, and honest about it, and didnt try to sidestep to pressure me into something I didnt want for a quick buck.These are the local guys many of the chain jewelry stores contract for their repairs, so if youre looking to cut out a middleman mark up for an out of pocket repair this is the place to go. I wouldnt think twice in entrusting my valuable accessories to the craftsmen on site that I met.

This place is the best! Small family owned business. Their work is the best. They resized a ring for me during Valentine’s Day week. They had the ring done early even though they were super busy. The ring looked great. You couldn’t tell it had been resized. The fee was very reasonable. I highly recommend them and will go back again! Say hi to their do Artie he is a sweetheart. Family owned and operated, very reasonably priced and some of the nicest people you will ever meet. Had them repair grandfathers silver watch, with apprehension mind you, and 1 week later I was utterly elated at what they handed me back... fixed the small dent it had, polished and worked like new... barely cost me anything. Highly recommended versus anything out of a retail store. Ask for Wes :)
