I went in needing to get the clasp replaced on a necklace. Simple right? Nope. The lady was very firm that I should allow a different alloy clasp (14k) on my (18k) necklace. I thought it was tacky. Heres some advice to the store: just say you dont have the part / dont want to order it / dont want the business. Attendant also debated me on my request to replace clasp with a spring ring clasp rather than lobster claw. Who is the customer here? I understand jewelers not wanting to be responsible for wear and tear but thats not an excuse to tell the customer what to buy. There must be a better way to deal with that (you could just say you do not warranty the part). According to these people, I obviously needed a heavy 14k lobster claw clasp on my dainty 18k necklace all cause thats what they had on hand. No thanks.

Weve been here a few times now. My wife got a watch battery replaced here. Then she got a link removed from the same watch band. They recently resized my grandmothers ring for her. Fits perfectly and they cleaned it up perfectly. Id personally like to thank Madison and Kevin for the great customer service.

I lost my wedding ring and my wife bought me a cheap metal on, Fast-Fix-Jewelry asked what I was looking for and found two rings 14kt gold the one the fit best had sharp edges so he recommended the one a little larger that had rounder edges and fit better once he sized it was late and he said he would have it ready the next day. I brought my wife told her to close her put the ring in hand and it brought tears to her eyes that I gold ring to match hers. They are very professional, fast, courteous, quality work, and care about making the customers happy! I would recommend them to all my friends and their prices are reasonable not out of the roof.

So about 10 years ago my Mom bought me this gold chain and cross. The lobster claw hasp broke about a year ago and I stopped wearing it.My mom passed recently and I wanted to wear her ring on the chain so I set about Louisville in search of a Jewelry store that could repair my chain.I was surprised to learn that the big jewelry stores in Louisville (including Royal and Genesis) either dont have a jeweler on premises, send their stuff out to be repaired or dont work on items that werent bought from them. One store told me they would send my beloved chain to Chicago and have it back in 10 days. I was stunned with this answer as back in Jersey every store does repairs.While at Genesis they recommended Fast Fix in the St Mathews mall. I was like NO WAY, not going to let my chain be repaired by a mall watch battery place. BUT, I took the recommendation and headed over as a last resort.Well, I have to tell you, i was surprised when I got there, Not only did they have all the makings of a REAL repair shop, I was greeted by people that actually knew what the heck they were talking about. Being in sales and employee training, I am very sensitive about hearing BS in a working environment.Brian, the store manager, did an EXCELLENT job in showing me what my chain needed, showed me options in the sizing of what hasp I should put on chain and even showed me wear spots on the end caps I hadnt even thought about.When he told me he could have it done in 1 day I asked is there any way I could have it done sooner. I am emotionally attached to the chain and did not want it out of my possession. He fully understood what I was going through with my Moms passing and told me 2 hours. In an hour and a half I received a text saying it was done. I headed back to the mall and was stunned to see what a beautiful job they did. New caps, rings, hasp, all polished and ready to wear.Never have I been treated better then I was at Fast Fix. Brian treated me with compassion and knowledge and NO BS, The other guys in the crew were also great and you can tell they all love their jobs!I love this place! These folks were able to repair my favorite watch that I have not been able to use for almost a year. And they were able to fix it in 30 minutes and took the time to fix the date and time. Really impressed.

I have used fast fix many times. They are always helpful and honest. This time was for two watch batteries and a band. They tried but didn’t have a band that would fit and they checked out the watch mechanisms and made sure they both worked with the new batteries.

They do lots of repairs for me. They are good and are reasonable. The jeweler at The Mall is creative and usually figures out a way to fix a “what looks impossible” back to thre original state or into a nice piece of jewelry.

Avoid this place. My watch didnt work and I took it in for repair. They said it needed a complete overhaul for $250. The watch had sentimental value so I went ahead and paid the $250 to overhaul and fix. About a year later the watch stopped working again. I took it in and they again said it need another complete overhaul to fix the problem for another $250. This time I declined and took it somewhere else that replace the broken crown stem for $50. How many $250 complete overhauls does it take them to fix a $400 watch? I think two in the span of a year is ridiculous. Buyer be warned.

They do fast work but not always good work. They don’t stand behind there work for a reasonable amount of time. I took my bracelet in for the same issue and it had only been a year. It was the clasp and it broke again and I was charged full price again.

Theyre convenient, friendly most of all they honor their warranties without any fuss and they have always given me the benefit of any doubt. Their prices are very fair and reasonable compared to retail jewelry stores. Anytime I need work done I check with them before going anywhere else.

These crooks wanted $75 to replace a battery in my Movado watch. $75!!! For a watch battery!I scoffed at their ridiculous rate and left. Went home and did a quick google search and found an illustration on how to use a very common small screwdriver to remove the back of the casing. Then I bought a 4 pack of Energizer watch batteries on Amazon for, are you ready for this? $6.99!!!!This is America and they have the freedom to charge what they want. I also have the freedom to call them out on it and warn others. Ripoff!!!
