Lovely staff that makes me feel welcome. I won’t go ahead with a membership because I believe their prices are too high

It’s good and friendly staff too, but Compared to other ymca Branches it’s small really small ☹️

I am a new member and to be honest I dont review many places but I do want this to be known. I am a new member to the ymca in general, with in my first 2 weeks here Ive had my car broken into and they took all my money I had in my wallet along all the cards I could use to pay for things. This really bothers me because I intentionally parked in front of the door with good view of the front desk receptionist and a camera pointed right at my jeep. When I found out I was robbed I went inside then basically told me we cant help you because the cameras are not real and no one saw anything. I know this could happen to anyone and anywhere but when Ive learned this lesson before and deliberately park where with good reason would make you feel secure over your belongings it isnt and they cant help for this reason I say this establishment is a 3/5

I love this place its just that the vending machine doesnt work at all for nickels

Nice gym to work out at. Employees could have spoken by saying hi! As i walked in around 6pm but i guess they where ready go home working part -time.

Love the SEYMCA!! My girls, both 10 & up and good swimmers, swam family swim for an hour and I walked on the treadmill. 🚶‍♀️🏊‍♀️🥰

Still dont have instructors for deep water aerobics on Fridays and dont have enough lifeguards.

Very clean facilities and the staff were extremely nice. Cant wait to come back.

The Wednesday night aqua fitness class is not to be missed! Its my favorite workout class

The summer camp is outstanding! My son has attended several summers. Debbie and her staff are always friendly and informative. Even with the current COVID situation, Debbie has managed to maintain a fun and healthy camp for the kiddos. My son looks forward to it each year. I couldn’t be more satisfied with the program! Keep up the good work!

This place is like a second home to us. My son Rhys & I go almost every day and its extremely helpful to have them watch my little guy. As soon as we walk in his face lights up, you can tell he loves all the employees here. Were going to be moving soon and I know this is going to be the one place we both miss!

I love the yoga classes. Swan is amazing and nurturing. Rebecca is adventuresome, sharing, and kind. Janice brings her challenging workout to the class. Katie always challenges us and allows me to feel very safe and appreciative on the mat. Marys classes are dependably challenging and welcoming. I truly appreciate the deep knowledge and training Swan and Katie bring to the classes and share with the students. I am able to carry their insights into the other yoga classes and expand my practice. I am thankful, everyday for the yoga offerings at the Y.

I really enjoy this gym. Though it is smaller than others in the area, it is a great family. The equipment is well maintained and the classes are great. My experience here has been fantastic.

I love the family vibe my neighborhood Southeast branch offers. I decided to try a new fitness class, I admit, I felt a little apprehensive that I could do it. I was surprised by the level of support and encouragement not only from the instructor, but the class participants. Also, I love the wide variety of fitness classes including water aerobics which I have recently incorporated into my fitness schedule.

We Ts plenty of places I could go to workout but I prefer the YMCA because of the family feel you get when you walk in. Everyone does a great job all over the facility, and I don’t care what it is, it’s means something to you when places you frequent the staff greets you by name when you walk in! I love this place! And yes, I get great workouts in also lol

The gym is small but has a big heart. We love it here. My kids enjoy the programs. We try to take full advantage of all the things they offer such as parents night out, workout classes and sports. My eldest son is in the before and after school program, CEP, I wouldnt be able to work without it. The staff at this particular location is wonderful. This gym is always clean. There is always a friendly face to talk to. Our whole family really enjoys it.

I can’t say enough about Southeast YMCA! I absolutely love ALL of the wonderful people that work there. I think I smile and laugh the most while I am there, and getting an amazing workout at same time. They offer many classes so there is always something challenging and fun to do and if you have physical limitations, that’s okay because the instructors will help with modifications. My favorite is spending time in the pool. So many fun classes and fellow members are always there to support each other. The environment there is always clean, friendly, professional and very inviting.

Convenience, location and a variety of exercises. I also enjoy my yoga instructor Mary on Saturday mornings at 8 am.

My wife and child and I are new members to the Y. Very clean areas to workout in and clean equipment. Staff is extremely friendly, and my daughter loves being in the sunshine room with the other kids. The staff in the sunshine room always greet the kids with smiling faces. My 1 year old daughter hated having to leave. Great facility!

I love this Y, this is my favorite one to go to. The staff are very friendly and clean. Unfortunately it is not really up to me. My 3 young children do not like the small area they have for them in the Sunshine room. Because of the small room we usually end up going to the Northeast Y with a huge play area for the girls.

I think YMCA should do better on the guest privileges If you already have a membership you should be able to bring a Guest in unlimited Even if youre Only allowed to bring one per visit .

Great Staff & equipment

I really like the atmosphere of kids and parents and coaches. The player space media where we can keep in touch is very helpful.

The staff is really nice and helpful. Clean facility, especially the swim locker rooms which is super important to me. Very nice pool, swim vests for kids.

It started off ok, It was a place I could go and workout and bring my son to the childcare. My son had been crying one day, so I went and got him and decided to leave after that. I had to change my clothes before we left and one of the employees told me that I couldnt bring my 3 year old son into the womens locker room with me. She said he had to stand outside. I was upset at the fact and canceled my membership after that.

The Y people are the best! Everyone is so nice and very helpful.

Friendly staff, large equipment selection, nice pool, clean facilities. Only thing I wish for is longer hours.

Great staff and instructors. Great classes. Our entire family has been coming for several years and cant think of anyplace Id rather go.

Good atmosphere. The heated pool and their classes are good too. Recommend it.

To start out, the facility is outdated and cramped. They have so many machines in the wellness center that you cant see where one starts and another begins and it definitely doesnt look safe. The offices are spilling out into the hall and I dont know how the trainers find anything because it is so unorganised . The locker areas and pool are all clean but, the pool is open and closed at odd hours each day. It would also be better if the facility was open longer so people could get in before or after work, not everyone works a 9 to 5 job. They try and tack on different fees when signing up so by the time you get to where you could be with another gym you are paying double what the others charge. I just think it was a bit ridiculous that they charge so much for such a disappointing place.

If you like workers and there friends curse you and your family and bring it to theattention of management and nothing gets done about it, while being threatened as well then I say this place is for you,

I really like it when nobodys there, my son learns how to swim and he plays soccer, they teach them well!

I cannot and have not been able to get a response about the Teen Leaders Club. I have called and emailed with no response from the facilitators of this program. Leaving a message has gotten me no where. My attempts to reach out have been unanswered. I am really disappointed. The facility is pretty nice, but I am not happy with the program directors of the Teen Leaders Club.

Another kristina sighting. this time she opened the water slide to a child she favors discriminating against ALL the other children! then when she left some time later someone else had to turn off the water and put rope back up saying ride was closed before a child hurt themselves, and kristina is the AQUATICS DIRECTOR ! how does someone like this who dismisses rules, regulations, and safety keep a position of leadership? but for this kind of behavior shell probably get a promotion. ;(

Nice facility with clean locker area, Kids Zone, indoor swimming pool and gym with Cybex equipment.

I Terminated my membership after paying a fee ? They add extra fees to use the place I thought thats what membership was . Male lifeguard always flirting with young women and wasnt watching anybody in the pool . The shower rooms are dirty and the place looks like it was furnished in the 90s . The hallway is dirty and the kid place is just plain unsafe and scary . Kids threw stuff at eachother and joined in . My son was so scared and we never went back . He said that they would throw board games down the slide and the adults didnt care . He brought out a ouiji board to show me and thats ok ? Never returning spend your money some where else

Real nice staff and front office.but to me most of the wellness coaches dont know there material at all.one does if you complain about a staff member,right away you are corrected and threaten.so as a family i am unhappy went to another gym.
