When my Mac hard drive crashed and errors showed up that Id never heard of before, I immediately ran to a Mac source for help. Those guys are knowledgeable and they have some decent equipment so I hoped they would be able to help. They basically said my drive was toast and should be used as a drink coaster.I asked my wifes cousin, who is a computer/electronic wiz and an IT supervisor with a large hospital here, and he said I should try File Savers. She walked me through the whole process, and never made crazy promises they couldnt keep. She was up front and honest with me. She kept me in the loop throughout the process, which I really loved. And better yet, if they were not able to retrieve any data, they wouldnt charge me for their time. Thats saying a lot since time is money.I know Im small potatoes compared to large corporations they properly work with, but JC made me feel just as important. My kids photos and class papers were as important as classified corporate documents as far as they were concerned.I was thrilled when she contacted me and said they were able to recovery nearly ALL of my data. I think she gave a percentage of 99.6%, or something like that. This came with a larger price tag than I was hoping, but when she told me what their technicians had to do, it sounded like a fair price. However, I was not in a position to pay that price. JC was able to negotiate an amount that I was able to cover. Who does that!? Any more a company will say take it or leave it. Well...they made it much easier foe me and we are grateful. I know they are a business, and have to turn a profit. But its rare to find a company that will work with their customer to try and help where they can. I felt like they were more concerned with my satisfaction as a customer than making the money.JC, thank you!!
