Volvo cars finance office guy. Short story, Carvana should pay HIM a BONUS!Our car buying experience at Volvo was the worst that I ever had. The front end sales person was wonderful and we were happy with our time driving and looking over the vehicle. When we got to the finance office, we felt very pressured to get upgrades that our own insurance company would give for 1/3 the amount or just flat didnt need. When we politely refused, the finance guy said oh, I get it you can pay now. He was then pushy for our money and patronizing.We will never shop here again. Save your emotional stamina and shop somewhere else.
I had the pleasure of working with Jordan and highly recommend seeking him out if you are in the market for a new or used vehicle! He is very professional, but at the same time makes you feel comfortable and he works very hard to get the deal structured in the way you want. In a time when customer service can feel like a lost art - Jordan shines. I bought a 2017 Volvo S90 from this dealership about a year ago and I absolutely LOVE the car I bought and its all thanks to the incredible dealer that works there named Hudson Heidorf. Hudson was so helpful and friendly as soon as I walked into the dealership and had intimate knowledge of every aspect of almost every car on the lot. He walked me through every model and option they had, showed me their inventory of used cars, and ended up matching me up perfectly with the car I own and love today. My husband made an appointment online for the 40,000 mile service for my Volvo today at 11:30. We showed up and the service rep assigned to us had gone to lunch. The woman who assisted us said the car would be ready by 3pm. We called at 3:45pm to check on it and Brian said it would be ready in 30-40 minutes. We arrived at 4:40pm and waited until 5pm to finally get my car. When we arrived, Brian didnt go over anything with us; just asked for payment. We had to ask him to go over the invoice, and he did a poor job reviewing the invoice with us. We have been to numerous Volvo dealerships over the years due to many military moves and this one was by far the most unfriendly and unprofessional.
Louisville Volvo did awesome for me. The technician sent a video of the repair while I waited. Great use of technology, very informative & allowed the customer to see behind the scenes. Hard to get details on Armor Plate program. Took 4 phone calls to obtain documents.Disappointed that the program just provides benefits for 1 year for $1500.Not sure the dealership is looking out for the customer when you have no say on if the treatment is applied to the car. Owned cars for 50 years, would have never had a claim on this program. Just looks like a way to increase your margins with little benefit to your customers who likely will take extra care of a XC 90 or they would not be interested in this type of car. Rex Wilcox

First time for service at Volvo, it was for an oil change and rotated/balance the tires, they have more then one service writer which was nice, they took my info down and I went and watched some TV. My appointment was at 10am, I was out the door by 11:20am. All in all it was a good experience.
We recently worked with Nathan Boston at Volvo Louisville. He was professional, very knowledgeable but not too pushy! He was anxious to help us buy a new car. Nathan worked hard to find us the best price on our trade in as well as discounts on our purchase. Nathan is the absolute best sales manager I have ever worked with when buying a new car. Volvo claimed they had no loaner vehicles—understandable (I guess) r/t covid. However, they then had no working WiFi for you to access while you waited. They claimed they had it and the sign said it was available but it would not work. When I asked for help they very apathetically told me it was the only one I could use (there were 4 more Volvo WiFi’s that were password protected) and said, “I guess we’ll put in a ticket”. The one thing they did get right was they finished in 45 minutes when originally they quoted 1 hour. They then closed my screen covering my moon roof without letting me know that it was broken and now it will not open—resulting in a trip back in the future. I have also gotten both a text and an email saying “Thank you for your visit and let us know if we could have done anything better” —2 days after my visit I noticed I had a fog light out on a car that is not even a year old. So I have since emailed and texted about the light being out and asking if it can be fixed on my return trip (allowing 48 hours for the email) and have received no response. Could not be less impressed with this service thus far.
I purchased my last two Volvo at Volvo of Louisville. I never had a problem with them. I appreciate their honesty. I have been dealing with my service advisor since she worked at Tafel Motor where Volvo use to be. She is the best, she tells me what I really need not what they think I need just to get my money. I will always give Volvo of Louisville my business.

We purchased our first Volvo a couple of months ago and our experience couldnt have been better. I think it may be the best overall car buying process weve ever had. Jordan Boykin was especially helpful in answering all of our questions in advance, making the time at the dealership a breeze, and providing great service after the sale (even dropping off an extra key at our home). I spent $2000 here for them to fix some of the issues i was having with my S60 T6, and within a week my car had completely broken down again. i asked them to check my battery because my car kept dying, and they said there was nothing wrong with it. low and behold i need a new battery, and have to pay $300 more on top of all the unneeded services they charged me for. save your money and take your volvo anywhere else where they’ll work on it.
Had an amazing experience at Volvo all thanks to Hudson Heidorf!! I dont know much about cars, but he walked me through every step and thoroughly answered and explained any questions/concerns I had. He was incredibly helpful, kind, and patient throughout the whole process and extremely transparent when helping me find a used car that fit my lifestyle. Please read this review and take it to heart, stay away from this Dealership, GM Anthony George has zero respect for his Customers and instills this same behavior with his sales Team. I have never experienced the type of treatment I received from Volvo of Louisville. I decided not to buy a car there and left my drivers license at the Dealership, they were upset that I changed my mind on the car and refused to send me the ID. After two weeks of phone calls and text messages with the salesman Jordan I finally was able to get my drivers license back via their HR person. I know this sounds unbelievable and frankly I am still amazed at their behavior. This is an absolute honest review, I would recommend doing your homework before entering this business.

I just bought a new S60 from Volvo of Louisville and it was one of the best car buying experiences Ive ever had. Everyone I came in contact with from the sales team was knowledgeable, helpful and pleasant. I wasnt going to be able to come into the dealership for several days to work out a deal and so had to communicate via text and email. Nathan was great about that and didnt waste my time going back and forth, got straight to a serious offer upfront. When I was finally able to come in on the weekend, they stuck to the agreement we had come to over text. I had never negotiated a deal that way and was worried there would be some unknowns that changed the final price when I got there. But as I said they stuck to the agreement exactly. Nathan was tied up with another customer so Erin, very pleasant and knowledgeable too, assisted us going over one final review of the car and some of its features. And Sasha in finance made getting all the paperwork done as efficient and pleasant as possible. All around great buying experience so Im hopeful Ill have the same great experience in the future with their service dept.
Have taken our 2009 S80 here to be serviced the entire time. Excellent service advisor Melissa ensures we have all the information to make wise decisions about servicing our vehicle. She arranges for a loaner vehicle when needed. Our 2019 S60 just went for it’s 10000 mile service. I look forward to our continued relationship with this dealer.
Found a pre-owned SUV at a great price! We were assured by our salesperson that it was in excellent condition, but had it inspected by our own mechanic to be sure, and he agreed that it was in great shape. Brandon made the process smooth and easy. Would recommend both the dealership and Brandon.
Just had the worst and the most serious mishap at Volvo of Louisville after I got my drivers license.....I normally go to Tom Wood Volvo in Indy for service and this was my first time at Volvo of Louisville. Brought the car in for suspension service and POTENTIAL engine oil leak at the turbo. I noticed the turbo oil drain joint was wet last time I had the service done and advised Volvo of Louisville to check on it. Service told me that I need to pay out of my own pocket if I would like to replace the washers. This is nonsense since my car is still under warranty and this is a common problem on the 6 pot turbo engines. I told the advisor that I would like to NOT do anything to the turbo since there was no visible oil drips before. Picked my car up on Friday and the advisor told me that the techs tightened up the screws on the turbo oil lines. Drove my car 80 miles back home and found out burning/engine oil smell as soon as I got off my car in my drive way. Looked underneath and engine oil was dripping. Checked oil level and it lost at least a quart during that 80miles drive and the entire underbody is soaked. Called Volvo of Louisville on Sat and spoke to another advisor. Volvo of Louisville is not admitting that they did anything to the turbo besides inspection according to the service note. My car has been fine for the first 26k miles and the joint just happened to fail on my 80miles drive home? The service tech clearly over torqued the joint and damaged/cracked the washer which led to the leak.My car is back in my usual dealer at Tom Wood, and the technician there is getting everything fixed. The very unprofessional service at Volvo of Louisville is very alarming. I am sure that there are good technicians but clearly not everyone is qualified. If one customer that knows nothing about cars happen to experience the same thing as I did then his/her car could end up having catastrophic engine failures due to lose of oil. And the fact that the service note does not capture everything that was done to the vehicle is also a very dishonest practice which leaves the customer in a bad situation.Volvo North America has been contacted and they promised me that they will bring this issue to their management team internally. I am not expecting anything else from Volvo of Louusville. I just hope that my Engine and Turbocharger are still unharmed.

Mostly a positive experience; was really disappointed in car wash and front seat vacuum that is advertised as standard part of service. My car was not cleaned at all but they did the needed repairs and car was done on time.

One of the WORST EXPERIENCES OF MY LIFE! I would give ZERO stars if I was able. My Husband and I purchased a 2018 Volvo V90CC via online, talked to Nathan Paine. Specifically asked about any imperfections to be videoed/photographed. Purchased the car, day before transport our insurance discovered there was a $12526 claim paid out on the car. Asked Nathan about he said that their “Volvo Master Technician” did not see any signs of repair due to damage and that he had pointed out any imperfections in the videos and pictures he sent us. Car arrived, 3 of the 4 wheels had major curb rash, multiple dings and dents that were not made aware to us. Upon reviewing the photos and videos closer when we knew what to look for, we were able to see some of the dings but they were not specifically pointed out. Our body shop also noted that the car had been repainted in areas. We spoke to Nathan he said they would give us a credit towards an extended warranty but when I talked to their extended warranty company they informed us that what Nathan had told us wasn’t even offered or an option. When I asked why it wasn’t a CPO he said that it was cheaper to not have it be certified but the car had to go through essentially the same check before being offered for sale. Then all communication stopped, I reached out multiple times to managers with no response or resolution. They left the old lessees personal information in the car, I finally contacted them and found out the car was damaged, front fender and grille was completely replaced, none of this was reported on the carfax. We purchased the car from over 800 miles away. They definitely took advantage of that, the car is not worth what we paid for it and not as advertised to us. All they appear to care about is getting the sale done and thats it. Took Months to get our car titled/plated in our state, and took even longer to get a copy of our sales paperwork, and when they did send it it was terrible quality small photocopies of the originals that are difficult to read. I am in sales and I understand its tough, but all we wanted was honesty since we were buying from so far away and they definitely did not give us that. We have filed a complaint with the BBB.
After servicing my car here for 4 years, they broke something on my seat, refused to acknowledge responsibility and essentially told me if I wanted it to be fixed I could pay for it. Loyalty doesn’t mean anything and they will not be seeing my car again.

I had a wonderful experience with Volvo of Louisville! I live in Dayton Ohio but found the car I wanted at Louisville. I spoke with the sales manager and he made me realize that I could get this car without a problem and he assured me that this is something that is done quite often. Erin helped me get the car I wanted at the price I wanted. She was so helpful, kind and straightforward. We did this all via text! She even sent a little gift for me after the sale ...Billy drove the car the 200+ miles to bring it to me. He was so pleasant and fun to talk to. I couldn’t believe he had such a great attitude and was willing to spend so much time with me explaining the car and letting me test drive it before I signed the papers. He did not rush me at all! Nathan also worked with me to get the financing and I enjoyed the experience because he was so pleasant. I definitely recommend this dealership!

We bought a used Volvo last week and the experience was great. We worked with Brandon and he was wonderful to work with. Shopping, paperwork, and getting maintenance done was easy and everyone we worked with through the process was nice and helpful.
This is one of those If I could leave Zero stars, I would reviews. We contacted Volvo Cars of Louisville about a vehicle we found through AutoTrader. We were contacted by JORDAN. Initially, he was polite and accommodating. Quickly, that turned into highly aggressive, typical used car salesman techniques. He even wanted to move forward and strike a deal before we even drove the car (see attached picture of text message). We heard that This car is going to sell in nearly every text (see attached pictures of text message). Since it was a good deal, we rearranged our schedule to take care of some business and make the 1.5 hour drive FOR THIS SPECIFIC car. When we arrived, he pointed to the car as he walked us AWAY from said car. He wanted a Q&A to make sure this was the car for us. What?!? Weve been test driving a few cars and this has never happened. We reminded him, multiple times that we specifically came a long way to drive this car. We have a Volvo dealer 30 minutes from us. We could drive any other Volvo much closer to home, much more conveniently- just let us drive what we came to drive. He didnt give up. He wanted to know about our lifestyle and our motivations. No thanks, we simply want to drive that car. Period. After eye rolling, head shaking, and a mumble or two (because we didnt feel like letting him go through the pitch he wanted to go through with us), he finally pulled out a key and we dutifully followed him to the car. To be honest, at this point we should have just left.When we drove it, we actually really liked it, but decided it would be much too much work dealing with such an aggressive/inexperienced salesperson (a bad combo). He was waiting for us upon arrival. We made quick excuses and ran. The next day we received our daily text from him with something snarky That was quite the coffee break you guys took!!! (see attached photos). I didnt respond to his message. Still, the next day, I got a phone call. I only answered because I thought it was work. He wondering what we thought of the car. I was in shock. I reminded him how many times that he told me it would be sold- being such a great deal and all. He said Yes, it is sold. Then why in the world are you calling me, what game are you playing. This time I answered honestly- Id had it with this nonsense. We liked the car but had no intention of working with such an unprofessional salesperson. I even called him a jerk because he started laughed at me. Then he told me he hoped I felt better, Im sure that had something to do with me being a woman, then he hung up on me. I called back to ask his managers name, and he said Anthony and hung up once again. I though about speaking to a manager, but at this point, why bother.

I also bought a CPO vehicle out of state from these guys and have had pretty poor customer service (I feel like Im echoing Max Dyer here). The bad behavior started with an attempt by them to change the terms of the CPO deal when the paper work was delivered so pay attention to the fine print everyone. They tried to charge me for a nondeductible warranty and get me to sign off to one with the deductible so they could pocket the cost difference. After we got that straightened out it took two weeks to get the car to me and provided me explanations that ended up being false as for the delay (claimed they couldnt get anyone to pick up the car for the price they quoted me... when I got the car they actually paid the guy less then I had been quoted). Additionally they failed to fix an item theyd agreed to correct before shipment. Avoided my calls to remedy the issue. Then finally said they were going to fix it and here we are two weeks later and still nothings been fixed. These guys are shady and the worst experience Ive ever had buying a Volvo. Ive bought three and never had to deal with stuff like this. Volvo corporate has been contacted and hopefully they can fix the issues.Update: Thanks Volvo of Louisville for addressing my issues. It was a little frustrating that I had to escalate things but since I have theyve been accommodating and paid for the items that were unaddressed when they shipped the car.
Volvo in general has deteriorated in service and quality since I owned my first S60 in the early 2000s. While safety is a primary concern - sales and service are a driving factor for me to return as a customer.My 2014 s60 has been by far the worst model/year I have owned. And getting service at this Volvo dealer is below par - although the lady in service says she has 19 years of experience here, I found the general demeanor and conversations less than what I’d expect. I was furthermore displeased with the exorbitantly high prices on general service. Examples: $121 for oil change and $550 for rear breaks - I was also charged $44 to have them read the computer and tell me what I had told them - that the keyless entry does not work on the driver door (the fix was going to be $700 and not included in the 100k warranty.)Well Volvo - I’ll be returning to Quantrell Volvo in Lexington where service and sales are much better.
The service department is top notch. They go out of their way continually to make my service appointments go smoothly. Everything from the ease of scheduling, to making sure I understand all the ins and outs of my loaner vehicle and beyond is handled with wonderful professional courtesy. On my last visit they even drove to where I was to pick up the keys for my car (which I had forgotten to give them when I dropped it off). They also called multiple times throughout the day to keep me up to date on the progress of my service. Melissa, Jason and Daron do a great Job!

Finally writing this review after waiting for the dealership to do the right thing but doesnt seem like theyre going to in this case. Long story short, I purchased a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle from Volvo Cars of Louisville a little over a month ago from out of state and had the car delivered to me. Upon delivery, I had several issues which I addressed to the dealership but they didnt seem to care to make it right. I have been more than patient and reasonable with my requests but at this point I can confidently say that Volvo Cars of Louisville only cares about making the sale and not about the customer experience. Still waiting on my second key which was meant to come with my vehicle and Im confused why I never received a call back from anyone even after multiple calls to the dealership. If youre looking for good customer service and people who treat you with respect, I highly recommend you take your business elsewhere.UPDATE 6/3/2020 - Almost 6 months after my original purchase date I finally have a spare key. Had to reach out to Volvo Corporate because my concerns were falling on deaf ears. I will say that Coy was the only one at the dealership that was remotely responsive and helpful in fixing these issues. Still disappointed that it took so long for this to be resolved but glad this is finally over.

One star is only because the people were overall nice. Got a flat tire driving from SC to Chicago today about an hour from Louisville in my XC90. Didn’t want to drive the rest of the trip on a spare so called and told them my situation and asked if they had the tire in stock, which they did. Told them I would be there in an hour and really need to be in and out if possible as I have another 6 hour drive and have my 18 month old and dog with me. THEY STILL TOOK AN HOUR TO PUT A NEW TIRE ON (This is something that literally takes 10 minutes) Then an hour after we left our tire pressure light came on. I called the service department multiple times and finally left a vmail with Brian to see if they forgot to reset something or if I really have an issue. Never called back. Texted their service number.. no answer.. Same as my Volvo dealer in Chicago.. people seem nice but the service is always awful.
Erin Gentry was my sales person and she honestly was awesome. She went above and beyond to find the right car for me after listing to what i was looking for,. I love my car and think Erin is THE BEST!!

Worst experience with an inexperienced sales person. The sales person continued to call and text because they are desperately trying to meet end of the month quota and is trying to move a car. The inexperienced sales person than mentioned I couldn’t afford the car. The dealership manager Anothy George needs to better train his sales team so they don’t lose any more business.Taking my business somewhere else, huge mistake on your part, huge $$$

Went and got my tire changed, now I have a check engine light on.As always this place is a scheme, a money pit to try to get you to rely on them! I love my car but will unfortunately never get another because it’s terribly hard to find a reliable mechanic, because Volvo keeps everything a secret and makes it hard for outside sources to make fixes. thanks again Volvo Cars of Louisville for another wonderful experience.Psthey totally see and look at these reviews I’ve heard someone talk about me as a customer already writing one and totally feel my cars been tampered with because so.

Do not buy a car from this dealer 6 months after vehicle purchase and still dont have a license plate or any other paperwork and they lost a set of my keys and wont replace them will not hold up to their end of purchase agreement worst experience Ive ever had buying a car
Ashley was my customer service representative. She did an excellent job talking with me to meet my needs as a customer. My vehicle was taken into the shop for repairs, and the Service Department completed the vehicle repairs ahead of schedule. Ashley and a repair man were helpful in showing me how the item I got repaired was now working properly. Thanks for the good service.
Where to begin. I purchased a S60 from Volvo of Louisville and drove 8.5 hours from northern MI to pick it up. Upon delivery, the original vehicle had a cosmetic issue to no fault of the dealership. Andy, our cars salesman, made everything right. He was more than amenable to our needs and is honestly one of the best salesman we have ever dealt with. Zach, the finance director, is awesome, too! From start to finish, this dealership was A+. I would drive again from MI just to purchase from this dealership again!Thanks again to all that help facilitate our great experience with Volvo of Louisville! It was much appreciated!
Everyone here was super nice and very well dressed..In fact... I felt very under dressed here, for just car shopping. The showroom was super clean..Ive always loved the look of Volvos.. Never owned one though

Folks - Im not typically one that enjoys my experience with a dealership. Car buying is a drag and so very frustrating... however, my experience with Adam Lee at Volvo Cars of Louisville was outstanding!I cant begin to tell you how thrilled I was to find the exact truck I had been searching for on their Used Cars page online. Living an 8-hour drive away from Louisville, I quickly called and happened to get Adam on the phone... what a dude! He hooked me up! Called him on a Thursday night, right as they were closing. He stayed late to text me pictures of the truck and answer questions. Came to an agreement on financing and price the next day via text and telephone. Reminded him over and over again, I would be flying all night Friday night to come pick it up on Saturday morning. He gave me his word he would be there and wed be ready to quickly sign paperwork and get me on the road back to KC......listen, everybody needs a job and a paycheck. I am committed to my job and employer and will show up in the worst of circumstances... Adam did more than I could ever expect. What I didnt realize when I walked in the door on Saturday morning is that this guy had been in a serious car accident and suffered a concussion the night before, spending the better part of his night in the hospital! Didnt matter, he had made me a promise... there he stood, holding a hot cup of coffee, greeting me promptly at 8am, hospital band still on his wrist. He had made a promise and this guy came through.... now, lets be clear, I would not in a million years (given his circumstances) EVER asked him to do such. I had no idea this had happened until we were shaking hands at the end of the deal and one of his co-workers whispered to me what had happened.Volvo of Louisville is the place to go and Adam Lee is the guy to call. No doubt. Quality dealership, excellent cars & trucks with the most impressive dealership staff that I have ever worked with in my life.One side note.... four months after I purchase my truck, I wake up on my birthday with a voicemail from Adam wishing me a happy birthday.Adam - youre the man! You made my truck-buying experience the best ever!!!!!!!!!!
Every time I come to Volvo Melissa Hare greets me with a smile, ready to help me any way she can. She seems to be great at her job... Seems! She never returns calls, will not keep you updated on the progress of your vehicle unless you call her several times, and even then she wont give you any estimates on time, and she also overcharges for service hours. Im not asking for much, just for her to do her job, and thats not happening. I will be finding a different place to take my car from now on.
We had a very pleasant experience purchasing a new Volvo XC60 here last week. Its a beautiful dealership with great vehicle selection. Low pressure, no hidden surprises. Our salesperson Paul was excellent to deal with.

As a new volvo owner this experience was extremely pleasant! More then answered all our questions.
Tried to buy a car they had on the lot for over 2 months. Made it clear to Paul, the Sales Manager that I was making a bottom line offer and theyd have to back out any fees to make their numbers fit my offer. Then got a call from Anthony the General Manager and further negotiated. Got within $200. Then the Salesperson, Erin sent me a text with over $1400 of fees and permaplate paint protection saying they are legally obligated to do that. Disgusting.
I purchased a $4200 warranty from Volvo of Louisville and when I took the car for engine repairs, they did not honor it. Melissa Hare the sales rep was combative and I took the vehicle to Lexington for service. I cancelled the warranty that had never been used and had to pay $600 out of pocket for my repairs.
Service dept were courteous however waited most of 2 days for a part and they are less then 15 miles from me. When i called to check on status after a day of waiting they told me the driver came in our part of town but forgot to grab the part before he left so i had to wait for the driver to get back in town
Nice place to look at quality cars. Guys please buy a suit that fits. You look like Seven pounds of flower in a five pound bag.
My service consultant, Melissa did a tremendous job. My car is an older model, but she was very patient as we worked through bringing it back to functionality. The scheduling was exceptional and they tried to accomodate my every need. When I am finally ready for a new version, I will definitely shop at this dealership because the service prople are so competent and pleasant.
