I was in town for business when my fan broke and busted a hole in my radiator. Unable to get it back to my local mechanic, I was at the mercy of the closest repair shop to where it happened. Fortunately for me, it was Shuffitts. While they couldnt get it done that day, they did get it done quickly as promised, and the price was fair and honest. When you are trapped, its nice to know there are legitimate and honest businesses to assist you. Would highly recommend them.

They fixed my brakes like new and also did my brake line from where a mechanic on Logan messed it all up, Logan kept my car for 3 days. These good mechanics had my car back to me within 24 hrs. I will be back to get more repairs to my car. Love their work.

These techs are my go to because theyve always been honest and done quality work. If I can, I call ahead to see if they can give me a rough idea of how long theyll have my car. Their estimates are spot on--and sometimes, I get my repaired car back earlier than expected.The location is a bit of a pain because everything is so cramped on their lot, but thats a small problem thats worth putting up with for the quality of work.Also, their prices are right in line with professional recommendations and guidelines. I looked up those figures the first couple of times I used this garage, just to be sure I wasnt overpaying.All in all, the techs are great. If you, like me, dont know much about cars, you can trust this shop to take great care of your ride.

Well the one guy told me it would cost me 15.00 to get a patch on my tire but when I went to go pay it the other guy charged me $20.00 llrs .

They were so helpful. I spoke with Brandon most of the time and he got my car done in about two hours and gave a reasonable price. They also did a free diagnostic check for me and gave me some knowledge on repairing a part of my engine myself in the future. Best experience I’ve had in town.

Pete and his staff are helpful and knowledgeable. Like somebody has mentioned, they will tell you if things need to be fixed or not. Always fair price, and service is very quick. Ive been living in three different states and experienced many repair shops, but this is absolutely the best. Another good thing: college students get 10% off!

My first visit to Shuffitt’s Automotive Services was not planned. A frustrating evening trying to figure out what was wrong with my car finally ended with me leaving my car at Shuffitt’s overnight. AAA recommended them and told me I would receive a 10 per cent discount from them. A friend highly recommended them. Next day, they thoroughly checked out my electrical system, etc. and determined it was just the battery. Charged me for the battery less 10 per cent and I left with my car doing great. Highly recommend them.

They brought my car back to life, when everyone said it was not possible. They made my car an oil pan and repaired everything. All of this while working in my budget. I will all ways go back to them. Once they fix it, I dont have to worry about it anymore.

I cant express to you how great of an automotive shop this really is. As an ASE mechanic myself, I would trust these guys with even my most special car. Why? How much time do you have? 😉 They are family owned and operated. Brandon Shuffitt was fantastic with everything. To sum it up: they are honest, friendly, can communicate to everyday drivers, they are still pasionate about what they do, after all the years open. Very fair prices, and the mechanics/technicians do excellent work. Just outstanding, keep up the good work!

Took vehicle in for fuel pump and left with a check engine light. they couldnt get it to go offspinned my wheels about so many excuses as to why they couldnt execute a clean satisfactory servicenow a year or so later my car wont turn over yet again for the same issue..Ill call them Monday and see how Ill get bs this time ..if I can help it I wont let them repair their own f up

Repairs were authorized without my permission (and then they attempted to charge me nearly TWICE what three other shops quoted me). I was charged for services I did not ask for and didnt need (e.g., more than $20 to top off my antifreeze).I do not recommend this shop.

I brought my car here because it was conveniently located in relation to where I live, but I bring it back because every employee Ive interacted with was very friendly and willing to explain the issues with my car in a way that I can understand. They dont try to upsell you and communicate really well.

Like Carlas review, Ive also had great experiences here. They tell me when I dont really need something done and I dont feel like Im being upsold on repairs. I trust these guys, they do a good job.

CANT EVEN GET A SIMPLE OIL CHANGE RIGHT! Dropped off my car with the simple instruction of a royal purple oil change, sounds pretty basic, right? Well, let me tell you about it. I stop by an hour later to check on the progress and walk into the garage to inspect my vehicle and observe the tech filling me with the CHEAPEST oil they had. I didnt even recognize the brand. I immediatly said what are you doing, that car gets royal purple, his reply was UH? So we fix that issue, LUCKY FOR ME I STOPPED BY. Now at the time of payment i notice on the invoice they short filled my car by only using 6 qts, spec is 6.4 w filter. He tries to then argue it only gets 6 when it is clearly visible on the dipstick that its substantially under the line. Finally i said whatever ill put the .6 in myself, WOW. And last but not least, on the way out i asked if the oil life monitor was reset, and lol his reply was and I quote the light wasnt on so i didnt reset it . I mean WOW that one takes the cake. So.... bottom line, if your looking for second rate mechanics to work on your baby, then come on by, i definitely wont be especially if ya cant even get a oil change right.I pasted this from their website. I called about a service I needed. They gave me a quote. I took my car there. They fixed it while I waited for 10-15 minutes. I paid the quoted price for parts and services rendered. They were very knowledgeable and friendly.My bad day was turned into a beautiful business transaction with a place that cares.

I have never written a review for anyone but my experience with Pete and gang this last repair mandates me to do so. I have used Shuffitt for over 14 years, they purchased two cars from me and have repaired 6 different cars over the years, including the ones they purchased. My wifes Camry appeared to be DOA. Nothing doing with this crew. They brought it back to life and now we can put off purchasing a replacement. I had a Jeep, would turnover but not start. They researched for days, I then suggested something (after doing some digging) and sure enough that was it. I was not charged for the two days of searching only the repair itself. And I have many more stories much like that one. You dont stay in business in that area for very long it you are not doing right by folks. Kudos.

Drove car on to lot to have it inspected to sell. 3 hours later. Cant drive it off because it wont start.Suspicious? The guy suggested he could fix it so we could get it off the lot. Then my husband accused them of braking the truck so the employee said never mind I wont do anything for you.After looking it over (calling the police to make a report) I went inside and kindly asked them to come make sure everything was properly plugged back in.He agreed and went directly to a hose that was convienetly disconnected and hidden below where it needed to be.As soon as he reconnected there where no more issues. After insisting we needed a new alternater.100% crooks!

Told me it would be a minimum of $150 to replace brake union. And I was two blocks away, would have to have a tow for a no power tools job. I was broke down from out of town. Went to autozone and got part for $7 and took 20 mins to replace. I’m not even a professional. Tried to rip me off. What a horrible store. $450 an hour quote they gave me. Don’t shop here.

They have been doing automotive work for me for years they are the best trustworthy and they care.

This is a shop that I can trust when coordinating my daughters car repairs from out of town. I highly recommend!

The people were rude, I would never go there again.

I took my car into Shuffitt to get a bolt tapped out which had sheared off inside the lower manifold. Instead of getting the bolt out they cracked the housing around the bolt. Without telling me what happened they insisted the bolt could not be removed and it would cost $500 to replace the unit. I could not pay this so I said I would take the car back and still had to pay $100 for their time.Thankfully I was able to take the car to a different mechanic who got the bolt out and fixed everything for under $100. What is frustrating about this experience is that rather than coming clean and telling me what happened Shuffitt concealed the mistake so I could not see what happened until I paid them for their time and took the car home.Trust is a big deal when it comes to mechanics and Shuffitt deceived me. Ignorance is how mechanics get away with stuff like this and it is safe to say I will never go back to Shuffitt for anything.
