Good old school mom and pop shop. Unfortunately we are going to close the doors for good May 28th. 65 great years and I had 21 hard years here. Im gonna miss this place.

Best auto shop in the city. Been going since my 1st car. Switched briefly after moving but quickly added unlimited miles to my tripple A and switched back. Through the hooptys to the luxary SUV Genes auto has been my mechanic.

Ive had our car taken to Genes 3 times over the last couple of years and each time theyve done outstanding work. Reasonable prices and always so professional. Im going to be using them again real soon for some more work.

Originally I thought Part prices were marked up too much. But since I checked online I guess since the pandemic prices have gone up so he was not

This is by far the best auto shop in the south end. The prices are as low as can be, and the staff are well trained. Your vehicle is in good hands here.

Doug has always taken good care of any problems or anything I have done. If he cant fix it hell let me know. And hes fair. All in all hes a very honest and nice guy.

This business gave me my car back with a dent in it that wasnt there when I dropped it off. Its Saturday now. Hopefully Monday they will be honest and admit it when I call. Other than rocking my car the price and work was fair. The guys customer service was fine except he let me pull off knowing my car was damaged

Great, honest mechanics. Never received anything but great service here. One of the only places Ive ever been that doesnt try to upsell you anything. Just takes care of the problem and at a reasonable price.

Gene fixed my car, but he added excessive charges that I did not ask for to my bill. I will never go here again because of that. Be a good person and people will cone back.

Genes Auto takes care of my whole extended familys cars. Hes honest and his prices are fair. I know his prices are fair too because my father-in-law is an auto insurance claims adjuster.

Ive taken my car to Genes over the years for minor and major repairs. However I believe I will be finding a new mechanic. It took 3 days for my car to be looked at and most importantly I was charged a $45 fee for having it looked at that Ive never been charged before. Oh, and I was told I needed breaks and rotors replaced but because of labor my total was a low price of $836.
