I just moved to Louisville and heard a lot about this place. I needed some maintenance lights reset and some filters looked at. Turns out I didnt need an engine filter replacement after all; instead they just cleaned the current filter a bit. The cabin filter also needed replacing but my glove compartment was stuck. 2 guys ended up working on trying to get it unstuck, for about 30 minutes. For everything they charged me nothing. WHAT? So basically I will be coming here for all of my cars needs in the future. woot woot!

These guys are great. Very professional, friendly and they obviously enjoy working at Etscorns. They get you in and out as quickly as possible and explain everything theyve done in detail. Ive been in several other times for tire issues and Ive never had a problem.

Not impressed with filing system. Had 4 other vehicles, same make and model, couldnt find my bill initially. Love the work done. Runs better than b4.

Chris and Clint really helped me out in a bind! I accidentally whopped my tire off in an unfamiliar part of town and these guys got me fixed right up and on my way. I’ve never felt more comfortable in an auto repair place and as a young woman that is worth MILLIONS. If I ever need any work done I’ll be making the trip out here again. Definitely recommend.

I came here today due to a bent rim. The service was great. They ended up being able to bend the rim back into place with absolutely no charge! The man at the front desk, Josh, was very helpful in terms of giving me estimates and rates to replace my tires for the upcoming winter! I definitely recommend and will for sure be coming back to get my new tires!

Friendly staff, quick and efficient turn-around service for a u-joint replacement and an oil change.

I’m writing this for my 88 yr old Mom. She took her car in & told them her oil light was on (it was the engine light). They called & told her they had to run Diagnostics. She ok’d it. When she picked the car up she was told the oil light was not on. They didn’t tell her the Engine light WAS on. They also told her they drove the car. If they did... they had to see the engine light on. The invoice says “CALLED AND SOLD DIAG”. I heard one of the guys tell her that her car was too old to run Diagnostics (‘93), however, there’s a charge of $110 for Diagnostics. My parents have used Estcorn’s for many years. I am extremely disappointed with the service (or lack there of) my 88 yr old Mom received!

Called day-of and had my brake change completed in two hours, no appointment. Nice guys, no pressure to buy things I didn’t need, treated me respectfully. Facility was clean and equipped with everything I needed to be comfortable.

These guys are the best in town. They’re the most knowledgeable and customer service friendly around. Don’t waste your time going to big-name companies in town to have your car fixed correctly..

They were quick to serve me and the oil change was done in a timely manner as well. The mechanics even put a floor mat in my car to keep it clean. Plus I had a coupon that made the oil change only $19.99. Overall I was very pleased.

Stopped by yesterday to get my oil changed, tires rotated and my car checked over well. The employees were all very nice and did not try to sell me anything that i didnt need. They even let me know my car has a factory recall i knew nothing about and recommended a dealer that they trusted. I will recommend to all my friends and family.

Service was friendly And Timely

I had my car serviced here after having front wheel damage and rear wheel damage. I towed my car to this establishment. They did not fully inspect my car after paying a 100.00 diagnostics fee. I was told that it was only fix what they could visibly see. No other options were offered to me, price was made to be an issue several times. After getting my car back it was stalling when I accelerated, the gas meter no longer was functioning, the horn also did not work. I was dismissed several times and told were not gonna be able to make you happy, I wish I never even took this job. I was made to be a difficult person to deal with, after being very rational and clear with communication as well as paying a grand total of 2200.00. I would not recommend anyone I know to spend money here unless you have something very minor to rectify. The car was drivable but nothing else seem to be inspected.

Went in on a Saturday looking to get my tire plugged. I was expecting a long wait, got taken care of in what seemed like less then 10 minutes! While I was there I was asking about all the services this places offers, which is everything you can think of! This place offers nice, quick, friendly service. I actually felt like a real customer and not just another number!

I called last Saturday to see what the price was for an oil change and was shocked when i was informed that on Saturdays it is only $19.99. I cant even go to the store and buy my own oil and filter for that little let alone have somebody do the work for me. They had me in and out in about 20 minutes and even gave my car a once over. The young man at the counter was nice enough to go over what my car needed and when i may need to get the work done. He didnt try to pressure me into getting work done like the other shops do. I would recommend Etscorns to everybody i know.

I would go to Bill Etscorns Auto Service again without hesitation. The service manager was very helpful and able make sure the diagnosis was correct before proceeding with an unneeded service and saved me over $1500 had I gone to the dealer. Great communication also. Would recommend.

Great customer service and much cheaper than the dealer for the same work and has a better warranty. Had them double check what a unnamed other shop told me I needed and it turned out they were trying to rip me off. Will never go to another shop.

Just moved to Louisville and had to find a new shop so I asked around at work and Etscorn auto was highly recommended so i gave them a try. I didnt need much, just an oil change and a rotation, and I was in and out in no time flat. The waiting area was clean, the employees friendly and they even gave me a punch card so I can earn free oil changes.

I asked aroun with my friends for a good shop to have some major engin repairs done and a few suggested you guys. Gave it a shot and was very happy with the work. Also got this punch card for free oil changes, I love free stuff. Would recommend

I TOOK MY 05 CAMRY TO ANOTHER LOCAL SHOP FOR A NOISE UNDER THE HOOD, AFTER SPENDING $500 I WAS TOLD IT WAS A COMMON PROBLEM WITH THESE CARS AND THERE WAS NOTHING THAT COULD BE DONE. A FRIEND RECOMMENDED I TAKE MY CAR TO ETSCORNS AND $75 LATER THE PROBLEM WAS FIXED. I WILL NEVER TAKE MY CAR ANYWHERE ELSE FROM NOW ON. THE STAFF WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND THE MECHANIC EVEN SHOWED ME ALL THE PARTS THAT HAD BEEN REPLACED AND WHICH PART WAS ACTUALLY BAD.

I am so happy I found this place! I was referred by a friend after chatting about a horrible experience at Meineke on Bardstown Rd. Long story short I had received an extremely high quote to repair brakes on my Accord and wanted a second opinion. Etscorns looked at my car and told me that most of the work they had recommended was not necessary and repaired my car for $350 LESS than what I had been told I had to have by Meineke. I am so happy I found a place I can trust, they could have easily sold me the same thing on my quote as I told them I needed to get it fixed either way but they did not. They were honest and have earned my business from here on out. I highly recommend this place! Josh was great! They have a nice waiting room and while I was waiting I overheard them talking to other customers on the phone, their staff seems extremely nice and care about their customers.

Yes, they guarantee their work but Etscorn doesnt like to take responsibility for their errors. The body shop and service technicians lack knowledge on hybrid cars and think women lack car knowledge. Instead of just stating this upfront they will work on your car to take your money. Only after they completed repairs will they inform you of their lack of expertise. I called several times about driving issues I was still having after the body shop (Oct 2017) and service department (Feb 2018-request to check transmission and Apr 2018-oil change) completed work on my vehicle. I was told I need to take it to the dealership because of their lack expertise on hybrids. In order for them to look at the car and take responsibility for improper installation of my radiator in October 2017,I had to pay Etscorn $55 for diagnotics and get another opinion. The second opinion indicated improper installation. After all of that, finally after going back and forth with the body shop and service manager. I had to pay my second opinion to fix one of the two hose needing repair. However, how do accredited to wear and tear of hose when another hose had a clamp too tight causing a issue in the lower radiator. However, this hose I had repaired is attached to the hybrid portion of the car which is an area they lack expertise. Etscorn only agreed to repair the lower portion at no charge with refusal to return the diagnostic fee when I should not have had to pay one if its your error. The service and body shop managers were only willing to address my issues when I became upset. Etscorn lacks customer services when they should assume responsibility for their errors. I never had issues with the car until I work done at this shop.

I was out for a ride when my check engine light came on so i stopped by to get it checked. Turnd out it was just thr gas caop loose. Its nice that they didnt try to sell me stuff i didnt need.

My car broke down while driving from Nashville to Ohio, and I had it towed to this location where it was determined that the starter needed replacing. They overcharged me significantly for the initial service (easily hundreds of dollars more than other places), and then two weeks later my car broke down again. I had to once more pay to have it looked at (at a new location) and they told me the starter had been installed incorrectly with wires trapped and twisted, and that I was lucky my car hadnt caught on fire! Absolutely would not recommend.Edit: Its a few weeks after I posted my original review, and I want to add that Etscorns has gone above and beyond my expectations in customer service. After seeing my feedback, they reached out to me to find a solution that was more than I could have honestly hoped. While the original situation was frustrating (clearly shown in the above review), the fact that Etscorns customer service team genuinely wanted to (and was eventually successful) at helping me out really sets them apart from the average body shop. Mistakes are made everywhere, but its how you handle fixing them that makes a true impact, and Etscorns really did that! (Im not changing my star rating as people are more likely to read a bad review than a good one, and I want everyone to see this).

We were traveling through Louisville and found ourselves in dire need of help - we had developed a major oil leak from the valve cover gasket that was venting onto the manifold cover and were at risk for a car fire. We called AAA, gave them our location and asked for a trustworthy repair place. They gave us the number for Estcorns Service Center at 3935 Bardstown Road. I called and spoke with Josh and he assured me that they could get us in and do the repair. We headed their way and he ordered the part. They repaired the car, cleaned up the engine and engine compartment and had us back on our way in an hour for a very reasonable price.It was TERRIFIC to be able to find an honest and capable repair while traveling through the area. If we lived in Louisville, Estcorns Service Center would be our go-to mechanics. Thanks Josh and the crew at Estcorns - you saved us!

Went in for a tire rotation and they really took care of me! Priced an oil change (I drive a 5.0 Mustang that takes 8 quarts of oil) and even with the upcharge for the additional quarts theyre about 25% cheaper than where Ive been going so I believe Ill be back!
