**now owned by strip. I reserved a taxi for 4:30am for a 6:00 flight. I called at 4:35 to check the status since it had not arrived yet. The woman who answered the phone confirmed I had car “reserved” and asked how I was going to pay, and I told her cash. She said she would then dispatch the car. I clarified: is it not yet dispatched? She confirmed they do not dispatch until after payment received.

This is a terrible place to call for a ride. The drivers will book you in and cancel after you have waited 30 minutes and they said they are are 2 minutes away. Still No ride! It also takes so long to even book a ride. And some of the drivers have set their own amount without running the meter. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SERVICE AT ALL!

Day before our flighty wife set up an appointment to take us to airport at 445 am at 5 am noone showed our called. I called and was told no driver was assigned to us!!! Why the heck set up an appointment if they dont assign drivers. Im now late for our flight and may not make it on time because of poor service I will never use again and will let everyone know how pitiful this place is

Scheduled the day before. Called when they were 15 minutes late and got an automated message that there wasnt a car available yet. Tried uber and Lyft with no luck. Had to walk to airport and missed my flight. It was the only flight of the day to my hometown. Call anyone but this company.

I called for a customer at my retail store. I have no idea if the cab arrived. As far as I know, they did not come to the customer service desk to inquire. I saw the customer find another way home.Everything was automated and I had no chance to speak to a person.

Ordered cab service ALL within Louisville city limits from my home to work. They accepted the request, scheduled the driver. The driver calls me on his cell phone to ask “what’s it near” and when I tell him he declined the ride, I’m back in the pool, and “no drivers available “!!! They just want to sit at the airport and wait for something easy. God forbid the taxi drivers ..... DRIVE!!!! It was interstate 95% of the whole way!!!!

Was advised cab would arrive in 30-40 minutes, no one showed up. I called them after an hour and the dispatcher says “no one called you yet? I’ll have someone call you “. I followed up again 15 mins later and the call went to voicemail. Had my friend who is traveling with me call from his phone and the dispatcher says” oh we have nothing available I’ve been telling everyone that”. This was the same guy who spoke to both of us now lied and we almost missed our flights.

This is apparently the home of PROCARENT who is the owning organization behind yellow cab service and yellow ambulance. Communication is impossible with this organization. Phones are never answered, voicemail is never returned and the service is absolutely terrible. I am still waiting on my return phone call 3 months later. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. Feel free to contact me if you ever manage to get your communications worked out. I have left multiple messages at multiple billing departments. so you most certainly have my number.

I use this service each day to get to and from work. The drivers are generally very polite and knowledgeable of the city. The vehicles are modern, generally clean, and aesthetically pleasing. The Toyotas, Dodge, and Ford Taurus are my favorite. I appreciate and enjoy this company. Ill give Yellow Cab of Louisville 5 stars.

Now that it is Zcab, it is horrible. Ordered a cab in advance that never showed. Tried to contact them multiple times to get a status but never heard anything. Placed a new order but no driver was found. Was finally able to talk to someone, and they said their dispatch was down. At that point it was over 30 minutes after the cab was supposed to arrive. Then called a few minutes later asking if I still needed a cab sent. Gave up at that point.

Drivers was on time for pickup each way and after I got out of the cab I left my wallet in the back seat. I didnt realize this until two days later. I then called yellow cab to see if they had found a wallet and believe it or not the wallet was there with everything still in it, including the $30. Hats off to Yellow Cab, Well Done!

Just a couple of days ago I was driving down the freeway when a yellow cab driver decided to cut across 3 lanes of traffic without looking or using a blinker. I was driving a very large cargo van of dark color making it almost impossible to miss. I called the main hub for the area to report the driver and they dismissed it as though nothing was wrong. If you value your life and wellbeing along with others I would avoid yellow cab. Based on other reviews the city should shut them down

I called an hour in advance, and my cab driver was over and hour and a half late. Finally, a taxi driver pulls in to my parking lot, however its not my driver, its someone who works for them, but is already off the clock. I told him my situation, and he gladly offered me a ride home even though he was not working any longer. The drivers name was Ed White, cab number 776, and this is one of the nicest, most sincere cab drivers I have ever met. His job needs to give him a huge raise. If you ever get this driver, consider yourself lucky and tip him well.

I was downtown the other day and needed a cab so I hailed a yellow cab. The driver was very pleasant, I asked about a few of the downtown restaurants and he gave me helpful insight so I could make my choice. I contacted him when we were almost done with dinner and he was outside waiting for us.I noticed too they have a new app which weve downloaded for our next rides. I enjoyed the experience and recommend them.

Do not under any circumstances get into yellow cab number 549!!! He is extremely dangerous, took a video of this cab and driver doing over 100 mph changing 4 lanes of interstate to get onto an exit ramp at the last second cutting off over 4 other drivers. Videoing other drivers with his phone out of the drivers side window. Riding bumpers at inches away. High speeds, weaving, texting, you name it. He also followed me off of an exit ramp nearly hitting me doing double the speed limit. I have emailed and called into yellow cab to report. This guy is ridiculous and unsafe. Do not get in this cab. This man should be fired. What kind of company let’s this man work for them.

Not on time, even if they say they are going to be there at a certain time. And this is from multiple experiences. One time cab driver wasnt even using a GPS and was using a paper map and got lost in the daytime and turned a 9 dollar cab ride into a 17 dollar can ride, amd made me pay the full $17. Unbelievable! I totally do not recommend Yellow Cab whatsoever.

Absolutely horrible service! I was in town for business and was going to need a few rides around town. They did arrive at the pickup in a very reasonable time however that were good service ended abruptly. The driver could barely speak any English, drove like an idiot, cutting people off and so on. My biggest complaint comes when I go to pay for my ride. When I first got in I asked if he accepted cards, he said yes. So when we get to my destination and I go to hand him the card he says his machine is broke, but he says I will try it anyway so he runs it and it spits out a receipt that says it was unable to process, so he does something on the machine and runs it again. This time he shuts off the machine and says it locked up and wasnt so I hand him cash. Out of curiosity I check my account and sure enough there was the charge so I confront the driver about it and he says he wont give me my money back and that I need to call. I do this and the lady on the phone says that there is no transaction showing in the system.And that my bank must have put a hold on it and it will go back onto my account. Yea well I just checked it and it cleared this morning 4 days later.

Our driver was very rude! As soon as we got in car he rudely asked us where to. He seemed to be having a very bad day. Then when we arrived at our location I handed him my credit card and tried to ask about adding a tip on. He ignored me and quickly took the card and ran it quickly before I could finish asking him, and didnt even acknowledge I was asking him anything. Then rudely marked a giant line through tip slot on receipt. I was like I wanted to tip you, can I add that one now, or can you run it again. he raised his voice and was like No you have to tell me that before. Which I tried! Still trying to be nice I apologized, I had no cash on me, and using my card was only way to tip him. He once again rudely said he couldnt do it. So I once again said sorry and told him to have a nice day. He didnt respond and said nothing.

My car ran out of gas on the side of the highway at 4am, no other cab company was willing to help and I started to panic. When I called yellow cab, the incredibly kind and understanding dispatcher talked me through the situation and he very promptly found a cab that was able to get to me in less than 5 minutes. When the driver arrived he went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure my safety in the hazardous conditions. I felt compelled to write this review because no other company, cab or otherwise, has ever shown such a genuine display of care and concern for me. I was floored by the gracious professionalism of everyone involved.

Regularly utilize this company with the hospital I work for.....never on time, always disorganized, hardly any friendly help. At times up to 6hrs behind on picking people up. Find another company to drive you. Uber or Lyft will cost more but are more reliable. Do not use this service. A waste of time.

I never give Google Reviews, but the experience I had with Yellow Cab service was beyond horrible. My driver Cab #503 treated me like a criminal, making me leave my personal property in the cab while I went in the hospital to get my mother who had just had surgery, and get his voucher. The nurses informed me that the vouchers arent a paper slip, and they use confirmation numbers for the voucher payment. The driver told me neither he or his supervisors he knew nothing about this system his own company has. He told me I would have to pay the $68. Way before we even got to the hospital he was asking me what if the voucher payment doesnt go through, how you gonna pay? I told him I guess Id have to use my card. This man knew exactly what he was doing. This was on purpose. I paid the $68 and was told by him that if the voucher goes through, Id have to contact Yellow Cab to get my money back. I called Yellow Cab about my money and they ended up hanging up on me. The nurses called Yellow Cab and they were listened to. They were told that the driver didnt know what he was talking about, and my money would be put back on my card tomorrow. Tomorrow was yesterday and Im still waiting to be reimbursed. If I could give a 0 rating I would. Take an Uber or Lyft.

Horrific service. Had the driver swipe my card two or three times. I asked him if it would result in a charge on my card. He assured me it would not. Surprise, it did. Avoid this cab company!!!As of 7/29/15, still no credit to my account. They never replied to my voice mails or emails. I had to call back. The rep that assisted me was extremely nice/supportive. Like I told her: she did her job, others screwed up. If youre wise, youll avoid using this poorly run/managed company. Again, Ive been told to expect the credit in two business days.

I cant overemphasize how shocked I was when the lady at Louisville Yellow Cab began yelling at me over the phone. I called to ask why my 8am cab reservation still hadnt been filled (at 8:30am). She said I was still unpaired and she didnt have an ETA for me. I explained that I had a plane to catch and I needed cab immediately. She started talking over me - blaming me for not telling the computer that I needed to go to the airport when I made the reservation. I reminded her that there is no place to do that on the form. Finally she screamed... DO YOU WANT MY HELP OR NOT?! I caught my breath and said I would like a cab. She said she would send someone as soon as possible. Finally, I decided not to wait. I drove myself to the airport and (35 minutes later) I got a call from the cab saying he was ready to pick me up. Good thing I didnt wait or Id have missed my flight!I also left a message for the manager (Linda) who never called me back. These people are absolutely terrible. Avoid them if you can!

This is the worst cab service ever. The drivers are always nice and pleasant, but the dispatch will completely lie to you about how long it will take to get service. I called and asked for a cab ASAP, I was told it would be 15 minutes. I called after 25 minutes to get the status and was told the driver had to go back to the shop to get tires and they would be there is 20 more minutes. Then after another 30 minutes I called and they said the driver had to get a new car. So I waited even longer. Then I finally called and they gave me another time. I told them to just forget it and called someone else. Ive used this company multiple times and they are usually late, but not THIS late. It wouldnt be so bad it they could actually be straight up honest with you from the gate.

Worst experience with a taxi I have ever had. I had a bus from out of town that was running late so I booked a cab to pick me up at 4am. I called when it was 10 minutes late and they didnt have my order at all even though I had received multiple text confirmations that I was booked. They put the order in again and it said if it didnt arrive in 20 minutes I would need to call back. this happened and when I called back they had lost my order again. I had to call multiple people to see if someone could pick me up and finally got ahold of someone. when I already had someone on the way a yellow cab driver pulled up and asked if I needed a ride. I thought, foolishly, he had received my order but in fact he was just checking to see. Absolutely unreliable. I understand it was the middle of the night but thats when people tend to need reliable forms of transportation. Especially when their bus stop is on the side of the street.

I never give google reviews, but I used Yellow Cab today for a very short ride from the grocery store home and was completely taken advantage of by driver 754. He sat at a left turn light for a solid FIVE MINUTES as it continued to not change. This is s delayed turn but I eventually realized the car was no where near the line with the sensor that triggers the light. I tried to tell this to the driver numerous times but he acted like he couldn’t understand English. Eventually a COP a couple of cars behind us got out of his car, knocked on the windows and told the driver he had to move closer to the sensor for the light to change! It seemed obvious the driver was trying to milk the clock, I presume because the fare would have otherwise been too low for such a short trip. As another reviewer said, I will walk, take a bus or use Uber or Lyft before I ever give any of my business to this company again

My recent experience with Yellow Cab was one that needed to be posted.They saved our day in Louisville during the Breeders cup. Not being a preferred UBER ride share user it was extremely difficult to get to our destination. If you were a LYFT user you were out of luck. Yellow Cab made it happen. They went over and above my expectations. They coordinated with the Louisville police to let our cab exit and go on closed streets to pick up the rest of our party. When back in Louisville Yellow Cab will be my choice of transportation!

We reserved a van or Crown Victoria for 5:00 AM to take four adults with luggage to the airport. At 5:00 AM a Prius showed up!!! He could not fit all our luggage in the trunk, so we had a very uncomfortable ride to the airport with luggage on our laps!!! Then after we got to the airport I received a call at 6:00, that there was yet a second Prius waiting in front of our house!!!!

It was about an hour before a cab showed up. And its not a one time thing, this has happened every time I call for a yellow cab, in different areas of Louisville. So I called this taxi service to get my boyfriend to Indiana to meet my family and the cab arrived early but then on the way here the driver called me several times to get the address, saying theirs no address and so on so I had to repeat myself over and over and when he found the address he took the long way then he went around the highway when the address was right their!!! And he had GPS and when he got to the destination the charge was $61!!! I paied him and when he saw the money he smiled widely. I gave the man no tip for being stupid. Last night was the worst cab ride I have ever experienced. Cab # 879. Our driver picked us up from downtown Louisville to take us to dinner. He deliberately took the long route and then missed the exit. When the fare reached $35, he said there would not be any additional charge. However, when we finally arrived at the restaurant - 35 minutes later - he tried to charge us the $52+ on the meter. I balked and my friend negotiated down to $40. The man was extremely rude. Even the restaurant owner was surprised by the expense. We took an Uber back to our hotel. Total distance 10.46 miles. Total charge: $15.61. The driver of Cab 897 should be fired!

Do not use this service. Customer service was extremely rude when I needed to cancel a set of cab rides. She did not introduce herself, did not acknowledged my requests (merely performed them in sullen silence), attacked me verbally for not knowing the specific address # of a ride I had scheduled, and hung up abruptly after informing me the task was complete. In addition, a previous taxi service with this company resulted in me waiting 30 minutes for a driver who was supposedly just around the corner and stuck in traffic. This same ride, I witnessed the ride meter increment while we were stuck at a red light, waiting on a train to pass.
