This company is rude and will not pick you up for no other reason then they just didnt feel like picking you up but wont tell you that till you call them back and are late to get to your destination. Do not use this company.

They are supposed to take me to and from a therapy appointments. They either show up too early or too late. I call them before my appointment is over and they are 40 minutes late. One person showed up during my session and left me stranded because I wasn’t ready and I had to call back and by the time they showed up my therapist had already taken me home. They are unreliable and untrustworthy. If I could give them 0 stars I would. Not to mention the phone service is horrible the man yells into the phone and doesn’t let me finish my questions.
Please save yourself and dont ride with this company. The rude guy who answers the phone is the owner and doesnt care how customers are treated. If you ride with Medicaid you can request a different cab company. Ive rode with others that will get you to your appointment on time and who are not outright hateful. This place honesty needs to go under. Maybe the BBB will actually do something.

And a lot of times yellow cab wont even pick them up. people in the West End of Louisville can never get a cab. especially when it comes to yellow cab. and when it comes to cab companies we got the highest ratings.
I had some trouble at first switching over to this cab company from my other one through federaid transportation.. Once we got all of that straightened out it has been excellent.. The owner of the company is very compassionate and cares about his customers.. His drivers do as well.. I always get to where i need to be on time. They wait for me to get finished so no having to wait for another cab to come get you or even your same driver.. Point is no waiting Communication is key.. If you need something or there is an issue.. Tell General and he usually gets to the bottom of it an has the issue resolved (within his power of course)
Was in town last week at NFMS shared a Orange taxi with 3 other people going back to fourth st cab was filthy demanded $20 each thats $80 the following night I seen same cab the car number was 458 I told those aproaching it dont use him as will demand $20 A person . Im Australian and this is a bad look for a beutifal city
Our car was in the shop and my daughter had an appointment so I used the App and set up my ride for the next morning. I received a confirmation email and thought everything was good to go. Pick up time came and went. I had my daughter in her jacket and car seat ready to go. No taxi! I called and they said the driver rejected the ride after he accepted and nobody bothered to call me. Then they said another driver was 10 min away. Still no taxi. My daughter missed her appointment. I will never use this company again - customer service is a joke.
Worst cab experience of my life. Driver had no business behind the wheel of the car. Got into an non injury accident on the bridge. Driver called it in and all he got was someone saying “ it’s 3 am I can’t handle this now”. Driver had no idea what to do and we saw a bed bug crawl across the passenger seat. Police finally got the driver to move the car off bridge. We walked to a hotel and got an uber, never again!
Today one of their drivers ran me off the road on Klondike Lane. I immediately began recording and followed him to get tag and other identifying information. In so doing, I quickly saw that the driver was transporting uniquely abled adults, one of whom I know, so I followed more. The driver drove recklesslu the entire time; speeding, making illegal turns, tailgating people, etc.At one point he asked why I was following him, I told him why and he tried to pretend he was driving erratically because I was following. Nope. All recorded. I wasnt about to let him drive like he was w/ people who cant speak for themselves in the car.I called the company. The clown who answered told me I was breaking the law. Nope. I was the victim of a crime and a someone I knew was in continued danger. Ive called the state and will follow my complaint to the fullest extent. This company shouldnt be in businesses, let alone transporting our most vulnerable people.If you use this company after reading this and other reviews, youre asking for trouble.
This is absolutely the worst company Ive ever even spoken to on the phone. I used the website to schedule a pickup for the next morning. I received an automated email confirming the correct details. The next morning, I received an automated text telling me my driver was on the way. Five, then ten minutes past my pickup time go by. I call them, and Im told that my cab was cancelled. Irritating, but I still need a ride, so I ask if they can send a cab to my address anyway and I asked for an ETA. The man who answered the phone launched into a tirade about how he was trying to run a business. Shockingly, he insulted me, yelled at me, and cursed at me before I hung up the phone in disbelief.I have never gone online to review bad service before, but if this is how a cab service treats prospective customers on the phone, it seems reasonable to assume that you are seriously risking your safety and likely wasting your money if you use this service.I wouldnt have even given it one star if Id had the option to post a written review without one.
I called and asked for a pickup at an upscale bar, thinking they would know where it was and would provide service. They asked me to clarify the location (Bucks Restaurant), then immediately hung up with no explanation. Called back, said the same thing, was told they dont service that area (even though I was able to book a cab using their app!) then hung up again. I dont care how nice your cars are, if youre going to be rude to your customers then you dont deserve good reviews.
Cab driver didnt even turn on the meter then made up a fare then chased me down several blocks screamimg at me... Then when I called to complain the guy who answered the phone tells me he is also the manager and would not let me speak to anyome else there or give me a corperate phone number to direct my complaint to.. Harrasing and chasing customers and then you cant even call to complain is harrasment as well as just flat out horrible buisness ethics!!
Was quoted $18 online when I booked the cab, but the driver told me I owed $32 when we arrived at my destination. When I asked why there was a change from what I was originally quoted, he said that the online quote is always wrong. Then later sent me an e-receipt stating that I paid $18. So, pretty much I was swindled out of $12. Still waiting for Green Cab to address the issue...

I use this company all the time. They always are on time to get me to airport and other places I need to go. I use other services before like yellow cab. But not get picked up by them most of the time. I highly recommend them if you need ride.
Let me just start off by saying the one star I am giving is a formality. If I could write a review with zero stars it would be more appropriate to what Ive experienced with this company.I called at 10:30 pm to reserve a pickup up at 3:20 am and taken a 5 minute drive to the bus station. I got a text at 2:56 am saying the taxi was on the way. At 3:25 am he hadnt arrived so I called him and he said there was confusion and the company gave him the wrong info but hell be there in 10 minutes. Hoping that the bus is running just a little late I waited (it would have taken about 20 minutes to walk there with my luggage). 10 minutes went by and he still wasnt there, then I see my bus drive off down the street. I called the driver back to tell him Ive already missed the bus but he asks me to wait so he can explain what happened, according to him he was only couple minutes away. So I waited for another 10 minutes and he still hadnt shown. Its obviously too late to do anything so I go back inside and get a call from another driver from the same company asking if I still need the cab. Apparently the original driver asked him to call since he was closer.Now Im out a ride and a significant amount of money on the bus ticket. If you are looking for anything even remotely reliable do not use this company. I will never use them again. I typically use Uber but have seen this company around town and decided to use them. Just stick with Uber, its cheaper and definitely more reliable.
I had accidentally left my wallet in the back seat.I called the company the next day, it was a sunday and they usually dont work, and Wayne answered the phone.Within an hour, he had tracked down the driver and retrieved my wallet.He even agreed to meet me at a neutral location so I did not have to drive to the Companys office on Monday.Excellent customer service!
After being discharged from Norton Brownsboro hospital barefoot (they lost my shoes) and waiting in the lobby 6 hours after staff there got angry with me waiting this cab shows up - the driver was fabulous, pleasant, cordial and professional - and he saved me the trouble of hitchhiking down the Gene Snyder barefoot. I cannot thank them enough - they were the only ones willing to come out in the wee hours of the morning to save a damsel in distress. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
I have been using this Taxi Service for a few years and Ive never had a bad experience. Drivers are down to earth and easy to work with. I think people are quick to give a bad review when they are frustrated and want to vent. Well Im here to say in every business you cant satisfy everybody!! 💯 That being said Green Cab comes through for Me every time I need them. So dont let someone elses experience determine yours.. If you need a ride give them a try and see for yourself. ✌
Made a gentlemen I DONT EVEN KNOW get out of the cab because I said I didnt appreciate the drivers rudeness. All this was after he continued to yell at me and cut me off when trying to speak on the phone. Far better options are in Louisville AND Indiana.

Have been following one of your drivers for miles on S-71, all I can say is youre lucky they havent wrecked the car..yet. Driver driving erratically, swerving several times toward the safety cables on the side of the highway, going from 60-80mph at times, concerning enough that I reported it to 911. When I reported this driver I was at mile marker 68, I am now at mile marker 19, praying they dont kill themselves or an innocent person.
If i could rate this at 0 stars I would. I eventually cancelled the cab because it took them over 45 minutes just to contact me. No one ever picked me up. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
Most incompetent car service ever! I called at 12 to a book a cab to the airport at 1:10. At 1:25 no cab so I attempted to call dispatch. My call was forwarded to voice mail. I was instructed to leave a message if it was an emergency, however, the mail box was full. Call several more times before getting dispatch to answer- Dispatch (same woman I has booked with originally), eventually found my request and claimed a cab was less than 5 minutes away. 1:40, still no cab. I called dispatch again, this time was told cab was definitely really,really close and that she would send me the drivers number. A few minutes later she did text number, but before I could call him, the driver called me. He said he was leaving right now to come to my place but that traffic was really bad. I asked where he was- he was 15 minute drive from house-- My flight was to leave at 2:50, it was now 2pm and he was 15 minutes away. At that point I gave up and drove my own car to the airport, arriving at 2:15. At this was only 35 minutes before flight time and I still needed to check a bag and clear security, I had to park in the garage and pay $14 per day for my 10 day trip. So, it cost me $120 (above the $20 that cab fare would have been), but at least I made my flight. Oh, at 2:20, the cab company called to tell me my taxi was waiting for me!

They couldnt find our address twice, even after carefully spelling it out a second (and completely separate) time. On both occasions the drivers claimed to be outside of our place and then proceeded to tell dispatch we cancelled our ride... absolute garbage.

On my way to the airport, I accidentally left my backpack, complete with many valuables, in the front of the cab and didnt realize it until the cab drove off. I contacted dispatch who determined which cab I had just been in (I never thought it would be important to note the cabbies name or cab #) and contacted him. Next thing I know the cab rolls back into the airport and drops off my backpack (complete with everything I had left in it). I greatly appreciate the cab driver and the Green Cab dispatcher for helping me out in this situation. Great Customer Service.
This is horrible. This cab place totally screwed me over. I booked with them last night to insure i would have a simple ride to work, and Ive done this before through them. I called them 10 minutes before they have to be here and the dispatcher tells me they dont work in the area. It lets you book no problem on the site, and when ive used them before they didnt have any issues sending me a cab. I wouldnt use online and call them so you dont get screwed over.
Im with medical transportation number goes straight to voice mail. They arent very professional to me and this isnt the first time this has happened. They can be rude and vindictive but the woman dispatcher is ok, most drivers are ok. The almighty dollar is what drives them (management) instead of compassion and love of people.
Whom ever answers the phone is very rude and short. I called for a pickup 30mins in advance. When I called back to check the status of the ride the staff member added another 10-15mins on the time and hung up while I was still talking. I wouldnt recommend this company for anyone.
Almost missed my flight! I scheduled a taxi on the website yesterday to pick me up at 4:15am today going to the airport. I received an email confirmation as well. They never showed up! I called the telephone number on their site and got a recording telling me to log on to website to request a taxi. I was not able to speak to anyone at all. Horrible service! Im in the area quite frequently. I will never use them again.
I was very pleased with the dispatcher, i lost my phone and within 30 minutes they tracked my phone down for my and even brought it to me for free! i would recommend this cab company to anyone in Louisville Area. Very polite and helpful staff.
I liked nothing about this service! The driver was impatient. The car was dirty and had no working A/C. The business rep quoted me $2.25 per mile, not $2.45 that we were charged.Id rather walk than use this cab service again!!!
Horrible customer service!! I called at 1:06 pm 9/10/16 to reserve a cab for 1:45 pm pick up. The guy on the phone said it would be 20 mins. I sat patiently as my appointment was not until 2 pm, so I was cool with arriving that early. However at 1:53 I called to find out an eta. I was told the driver just got the order and was 12 - 15 mins. away. I told him that I booked almost an hour ago... my physical therapist sees me from 2 till 3 and that they close at 4 pm and I will have to pay 25 bucks, if I miss the appointment!! I called my pt and he said he would wait and still see me... At 2:17 I received an automated text from the driver, stating that he is on his way. I tried to call back the text number and it went straight to his voice mail. I called their place back to cancel, but could only leave a message. As far as I am concerned, this place is out of business in OUR city now. If you choose to call them for a ride. You get what you ask for, after reading these warning reviews. All of us are not wrong that have posted reviews here. Good luck, but I am not convinced they have any cars or drivers....
Taxi driver picked up my mother from the Southern Parkway area to take her to the airport as I had to work. The airport is literally ONE exit from the Southern Parkway on-ramp of 264 E. The taxi driver picked her up and took her towards Taylor Blvd then north down some side streets, through the University of Louisville before she finally got on the interstate and took her SOUTH to the airport. What should have been a $5 ride cost her $15 for no reason. Completely unacceptable!! On top of that, the cab smelled like cigarette smoke and was not clean. I am embarrassed by this service.

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! I reserved a taxi for a very early trip to the airport and received an email confirmation. They never showed up and there was no way to reach them, with only a recorded message when calling the number on their website. I sent a text message saying that I waited for 15 minutes past the pick up before driving my daughter to the airport myself. I havent received a reply.

Cheap, but more or less reliable. Dirty, smelly taxis. Semi-competent drivers, also ugly and dirty. However, they have never skimped on me and always arrive on time.
Slow bad drivers. One guy they sent, could not even read house numbers, and could not fide my place, took me having two walk down 3 blocks to flag the guy down, and Chase after him,1hr 45 min late and 6 calls trying to give him verbal directions. With dispatch trying to explain as well. just to get him to go back to the house I live and get my stuff he started his meter right there . Some people dont need to be in the cab business

Worst experience with a taxi service ever. I actually feared for my life because of the drivers crazy driving. I normally dont complain but I wanted to let potential customers know so that they can choose a safer option. I used the service twice on the same day which was dumb on my part considering the first ride was awful. I called a couple hours before I needed to be picked up and I will say that the driver did show up on time. No issue with that. My destination was waterfront park. Pretty easy to find but the driver acted confused on how to get there so he typed in the address on his gps. I live off Bardstown Rd and he asked if we could take watterson expressway west to 65north and I said that was fine. When we got to the watterson entrance he swerved over to go east and I had to stop him to correct his direction. He then sped up and cut off other cars to get in the correct lane. It was rush hour so cars were at a standstill so he sped up to 60mph in the merging lane all the way to the end of it and cut over in front of a car and slammed on his brakes. The rest of the drive he rode in the middle of lanes, cut people off, sped and almost missed the 65 exit. At the last minute he cut over and rode in the emergency lane(speeding the whole time) and once again pulled out in front of cars to get to the far right lane. He was driving so erratically that I thought we were going to get in a serious accident. By the time we got to our destination I was shaking. The fare was what I was quoted so at least theres that. Later that night i scheduled a pick up. Once again, the driver showed up on time. Shortly after we were picked up I realized that there was going to be an issue. After driving 3 blocks to get to 65south the meter was already at $20. My friend and I noticed it at the same time. By the time we got home the fare was over $60. Twice what I was quoted and double what I had paid earlier. We went the same route that we used earlier in the day,too. When I asked why it was double what i paid earlier he quickly switched off his meter and said he would figure it out. A couple of minutes later he said just give me $35.00 if you wont call the company. So I definitely knew that he was trying to rip us off. I paid for the ride with my debit card because I didnt have any cash on me. He used an app on his phone to process the payment. I know that that is common but honestly it made me nervous for him to have that info since he was already trying to rip me off. I sent the company a complaint online and Im waiting to hear back. After reading all these reviews Im not sure Ill even hear back. Im pretty sure that the majority of the 5 star reviews on here are given by friends of some of the drivers. So, to sum it all up, use another service if you need a taxi and value your life and money.
Flippant, disrespectful, and not professional staff supervisor. When trying to find out the status of my daughter’s transportation which she depends on to go to and from work, the supervisor’s response was “What else do you expect him (the driver) to do... slide down the chimney?”No way I would ever use this company again. Seeing how these drivers act on the road makes me never want to use their service. No respect for other drivers and blew by me on my motorcycle at well over 65 mph. Smoke billowing from the exhaust shows me they dont keep their vehicles in the best shape. If they dont care for them on the outside whos to say they keep them sanitary on the inside?
I work as a security agent for Donald trump, we were in Louisville on March 6, we used this cab company for personal use. I cant wait until Donald makes America great again, one of his top priorities will be to intercept the licsense of the this company. How can a great city like Louisville allow these idiots to operate as ambassadors for this city. It is a disgrace to our country to have such unreliable incompetent people such as the owner of this company who is terrorist in his own way. He cursed out our chief campaign advisor for not knowing the exact location of pick-up. On 12/11/15 I got a quote online ($21) the price seemed fair and I booked online. Got the confirmation and a call on the supposed arrival of the driver (5minutes prior to appointment) which is fine with me and professional. The Driver didnt show up until 15min after the initial time booked. He didnt know the destination (why to I entere all this information upfront?)Final charge was $41.I told him I booked a quoted $21 and he told me he relies on the meter and cant help me.I WILL NEVER BOOK THIS AGAIN!Oh in case you think this was an insolated incident, I had already a bad experience and this was my second shot (everyone deserves a second chance).

Called for a cab at 11:30pm, told 20 minutes. After 80 min we gave up and walked. Lucked up and another cab came by so we didnt get stabbed at 2 am in downtown. Was told driver would call us, its been a full day...no call. Skip this company.
DO NOT USE THIS TAXI SERVICE. They said they would pick me up in 10- 15 mins. Its been 45 mins. Ive called back 10 times at least and they refuse to answer the phone. Horrible service.**********************The driver ended up calling me 1.15 hours later and said he was on his way... ONE HOUR AND FIFTEEN MINUTES LATER. By this time I had luckily got in touch with a family member and was at the bus station.
After ordering a cab online the night before and receiving email confirmation, I was shocked and totally dismayed to have my cab NOT SHOW UP for my early morning trip to Louisville International Airport on Feb. 7th. When I called to ask where they were, they were clueless. When I said I had email confirmation, they said, Oh, we thought it was for the 9th. The email clearly shows the request was for the morning of the 7th. This failure required me to drive myself at the last minute, pay for a week of parking and then drive home the evening of Feb. 14th in a snowstorm after it had been snowing all day! I will never use them again and have told all of my family and friends about my horrible experience. They were also unresponsive to my complaints. Shame on them--very bad business!

I scheduled a cab online. Cab driver arrived at time requested. Service was excellent.
FLAKES!!!! Dont call them if youre banking on making a flight. I was only a couple miles from the airport, and was expecting them in 10-20 min (1.5 hours before my flight). When you call for a cab, they send a text with the drivers number. When nobody showed, I called and the driver didnt answer. So, I called dispatch and they said someone was on the way and sent another text (new driver). When he didnt show, I tried to call the new driver and he didnt answer either. So, I called dispatch, AGAIN. Once again, I was told another cab was on the way and the dispatcher said shed personally call me back. I was now within 30 min of my flight, so I called Yellow Cab, just in case. Still no cabs.After missing my flight, I called Takeout Taxi and they came right away. The driver told me I was too close and the drivers from the other companies wont bother with a low-fare ride. When I got to the airport, I saw several open cabs, just sitting there. It cost me $75 and 4 extra hours to get home. If they had no intention of picking me up, I could have walked (it was pouring rain), if they would have just told me.

Arranged a cab to take from our hotel to Churchhill Downs..got a text that the cab was outside, couldnt find it. So I called the number and the driver picked up the phone and said that she accidentally picked up the wrong group, but is on the way back to get us..we waited 40 minutes before we decided to just call a different cab service..Made us really late for the races. I texted the number that was and said that this was terrible service, and got an immediate and defensive response saying sorry I picked up the wrong group, thought it was you then I replied But you said you were coming back for us?..no response..Unreliable. Do NOT use this service if you plan to get somewhere by a certain time!

Unreliable. I called at 4 pm and scheduled a cab to pick me up at 6:15 PM.They never showed up. I tried to call several times but could not get through as the call went straight to a voice mail.
Booked an airport ride in advance for 4:30 am. Not only did the driver not show, but when I called no one answered the phone!
I called they told me 20 minutes, 40 minutes later they said 5 minutes and never showed up!!! I ended up messaging Ubber
Taxi never arrived. Dispatcher was rude. I tried calling to check on the status of my taxi and was repeatedly either hung up on or directed to a full voice mail box. Worst experience Ive had with a taxi company.
Worst cab company ever! The dispatcher is rude and the cab never showed after 3 calls and waiting an hour and a half past my pick up time. I had to get a friend to pick me up.
