Love this place for the facials! My skin feels brand new after and it’s super relaxing. Also the people that work there are very kind and genuine.

I came here for a haircut appointment that I had booked online through their website with Belinda. I discovered them through Yelp and Instagram and saw that Belindas style suited the type of hair cut I was looking for- an effortless, long & soft layered look.There is a small parking lot in the back that is easy to miss since you have to make a sharp turn into this long alley behind the shop to reach it. I arrived slightly earlier than my appointment time and was greeted by the receptionist.I enjoyed my haircut experience with Belinda as she was very kind and attentive to my desires. I showed her pictures of what I wanted and she immediately understood. I was making a pretty big cut, and she made sure to double-check with me the desired length of the cut as well as my layers before cutting it. She blow dried my hair at the end and I loved the end result of my haircut.They also sell an array of Aveda hair products in the front that they use in the salon. I ended up purchasing a sample size of both my conditioner and shampoo that she used on me since I liked them both so much. The salon itself was very nice and neat.Definitely recommend coming here and booking a haircut appointment with Belinda!

I went here for the first time today and got a haircut + bangs from Rita. The service was excellent, and I felt Rita really understood what I wanted. I havent had bangs for a long time, and I showed her reference photos & explained that I wanted a feathery fringe. We communicated well and I loved the outcome: natural and healthy. She did add some styling cream to enhance the texture, but it didnt add any crazy weight, crunch, or oiliness to my hair.The salon was great with their Covid protocols and cleanliness.They dont take cash or keep any cash in the register! Just letting you know ahead of time. Not a big deal since I brought both cash & card just in case. Also, I used the $50 off coupon that was available at this time for new members on their website when I made my appointment online.

I am very happy to have that I found this salon along the way. And I have hard hair to cut and most stylists never get it right. The one I had is truly a Professional Hair Dresser. He does a great job. Thank you for such a great service you provided!

I went to The Establishment Salon for the first time last week. I had a wonderful hairstylist and she was amazing. She listened to what I wanted and gave her honest opinion on what would look best on me. The cut she gave me has been the best style Ive had so far in my life and her perming techniques gave me natural waves to my past shoulder length hair.

I stopped in The Establishment while on vacation for a facial and am so happy I did!! Ethan gave me the star treatment. Jade roller, facial massage, hand massage, hot towels, extractions, steaming my pores... the works! I left feeling relaxed, rejuvenated, and refreshed, and my skin has truly never looked better. I struggle with oily skin and adult acne, but whatever Ethan used on me helped clear up my skin and hydrate it without causing more oil. Absolute magic! Ask for Ethan––youll be so glad you did!

I got my hair highlighted and cut yesterday for the first time here. I am used to going to a very nice salon/spa back home, but to go to the same-level salon here in CA is quite a vast difference in price. The Establishment Salon seemed reasonable, and had great reviews so I thought Id give it a try.

Ive been going to get my hair cut at The Establishment as long as I have lived in LA (going on 6 years now). Corey cuts my hair and is the best. She is always down to work with my crazy ideas from bangs and layers, to pink hair, red, blond, back to brown, etc. etc. and she helps me throughout the process of dying my hair to make sure it comes out looking healthy and lush. Ive never had a problem with excessive split ends or breakage from coloring my hair too much. Her coloring is built to last and grows out/fades out perfectly, its like growing into a new rich color with every wash. And to top it all off, she is always good company, I look forward to catching up with her every time I go.

I regularly go to the Salon for waxing with Shanda Son, who is an exceptional esthetician. She uses high-quality products and has a perfect touch. She is fast and accurate. Very clean and pleasant. Highly recommended

Omg! Best service ever!! I had an appt. with Nicole and came out with the most gorgeous hair color ever! Its been forever since i died my hair and to go from my natural super black hair to this was a process. Nicole was very nice and realistic with what we could achieve to get a nice color and still keep my hair healthy. Im def. going back! I recommend asking for Nicole if u want an awesome haircut and color!

I was not satisfied with this place.I asked for an ombre, they gave me a baylage.The red color turned out dull and lackluster. I wish the tone and vibrancy was more saturated.Communication from the stylist and the front desk was lacking.I wish the stylist would have given me a lowdown on more details about the color before we went ahead and did it. I was very open about my own ignorance involving color/hair in general.If I knew she was going to give me a semi permanent color and that it will fade in 4-6 weeks,I would have requested permanent or a different kind of color.The haircut is kind of too blunt and uneven in the front.Another thing, the website says new customers get 10$ off but when I went to check out, the receptionist didnt say anything about it.They didnt even give me a detailed receipt of the services they charged me for.If Im going to Shell out $500 for a cut and color, I at least went to leave the place feeling like I got my moneys worth. Instead, I wanted to just go home and cry!

The location in itself is nice, but the stylist. Corey, was extremely cold and did a terrible job on my blow out. I arrived for my appointment on time, but from the moment I walked in she made me feel unwelcome. I asked for a cup of coffee and you would have thought I asked for her first born child. They serve the coffee in these cool little French presses but she didn’t even offer to let me grab the cup (I couldn’t reach it from where I was sitting). The receptionist was a sweetheart and saw that it had been sitting in front of me for quite some time. She poured and handed the coffee to me while Corey continued to “style” my hair.When checking out the she made a snarky comment about my thick hair. I understand my hair is thicker than most, but it blows out super easy and I would imagine the majority of your clientele that books blow out have thicker hair. I left the place in tears. As I write this, I’m sitting in my car crying, and my hair looks awful. A thank you to the receptionist who was working today, I appreciated your act of kindness more than you know.

Ive been seeing Adriana Piña for a couple of years for cut and/or color. I absolutely adore her and have always been ecstatic about the results. Would definitely recommend this salon.

I have had 2 great hairdressers in my life - and since the last one moved out of town - I have been searching for a great hairstylist and I have found her - Belinda Garza! First of all, she is so kind and has a great vibe - she actually listens to what your needs are and respects your preferences.I had had some issues with former stylists cutting my bangs when I asked them not to - and Belinda totally got what I was going for and worked with me. She is amazing at both cut and color. I wanted to touch up a little gray. My existing color job was brassy and faded and a mess! Belinda was able to look at my roots and figure out the EXACT color of my natural hair - which is what I wanted - and which no colorist has ever figured out before. I was beyond thrilled! (btw - even though Belindas Instagram mentions blondes - she also is amazing with brunettes - as in my case!) Then I came back to Belinda for a cut - which was one of the best cuts I have ever had! I have to say - this is the most wonderful salon - everyone from the receptionist on is so helpful, friendly, and professional. I highly recommend Belinda and the Establishment!!

Shanda is amazing! The atmosphere and the employees make it very comfortable. I feel welcomed to be there and the service they give is a 10. They actually care about the service they give and I dont feel that Im just a customer paying, but they want you to be happy with the service. This is true with hair and skin care. I give 5 stars after going here for the last 7 months of good service and care.

Ive been going to Adriana for the past few years now and I leave so happy after each appointment. She has done a few ombre and balayage styles and she is the only person I trusted to dye my hair purple for a few months. She got my hair back to my regular color now and my hair is still so hydrated and healthy. Her rates are very fair, shes always punctual, and booking is easy on The Establishments website.The salon is small, very clean, and full with so many Aveda products. Parking is easy in the back also. I highly recommend this salon and I even drive 1 hour+ now to continue patronizing my girl, Adriana!

Amazing salon with amazing staff. It was my first time there and I was helped by Joanna. I didnt have much of a wait since it was really early on a Satuday morning. Shes funny, charismatic, and so personable. I opened up to her immediately and didnt realize how long I was in the salon.

Shes been doing my hair for two years now at The Establishment. For most of that time I would full on commute from the west side just to have her cut my hair. She took me from natural dark blonde to bleach in one go, while keeping my hair feeling healthy. Shes the best! Courtney did my balayage the first time I was there and it was so pretty. Everyone who works there is amazing. But Adriana is my fav. Book your appointment now!

I came to The Establishment Salon - Los Angeles to get balayage and a haircut. I was taken care of by Jessica, she was very professional and listened to every request I made. Jessica also recommended I use Oribe shampoo and conditioner, it was the best decision I could have made! My hair was smooth and shiny. I have a friend that goes here, loves it here and is always super happy with her services. But it isnt for everybody.I went in yesterday for a blow-out. (The appointment I did last week was for a blow-out style.) When in the chair, I jokingly told my stylist that I didnt want to look like I did real estate and I wanted for a messy blow out. She quoted me $40 and said that was her going rate and other stylists vary in price.I left without a blow-out, and instead got my hair washed, brushed, twist-dried, and then curled with a curling stick. My hair was massive.Oh, and I got charged $45, not $40. A $5 difference is not a big deal - but salons should honor what the client was quoted. It is not our fault if the stylists cant remember how much they charge.Pay attention: They are an Aveda salon. It doesnt really say this on Yelp. (I hate the Aveda smell. Dont know why, I just do.)So the big hair - I thought, its okay - Ill sleep on it and itll fall out a bit. By the time I got home I was itchy all over and my scalp was on fire. I must be allergic to the something that was used. Not their fault, I know Im allergic to a lot of things, and how are we ever to know? I took an allergy pill and tried to stick it out, but ultimately had to end up showering and scrubbing it all away. $45 + tip, down the drain. Literally.
