Quick & does great job

Ive been going to see Marcela for a couple of years now and will never go anywhere else!!! Its such a cute boutique location, always clean and feels like youre just going to have a little hang with one of your girl friends. Easy to get to, and theres a parking lot! What a dream! Additionally, she always takes care of my most sensitive area and I leave feeling like a new woman made out of a million bucks! You will not be disappointed!

I loved this place. I have been multiple times - I enjoyed the decor and vibe. There were music videos playing in the lobby which was fun. The service was fast and friendly. The results were great! Marcela is fast and thorough - and for me, there Brazilian was relatively pain free. Chanel is also very thorough and it was also a relatively pain free experience, she is a little slower but that doesnt bother me.

Marcela has a great personality & your Brazilian is over before you know it. I have been a client for almost a year, she is amazing. She has hard wax for chicks like me. She gets you in and out and Brave Kitty is a true gem of Silverlake.

DO NOT BE LATE. Ever. Dont do it. This place has a super strict policy so just be aware of that. Ill admit it, I was late to my appointment. Probably 5-8 mins late. Appointments are for 15 mins and I was just getting an eyebrow wax which only takes a few minutes. Believe me it wasnt my goal to be late. Im always on time or early. I already felt bad about being late.So I get there and Im basically chastised and lectured for being late. I wasnt late the last time I came and I acknowledged that I was late and apologized. I was asked if this was my first time there, no it wasnt and I even had the same woman as last time. She says she doesnt remember this. Keep in mind Im a repeat customer. But you wouldnt know that given the attitude here. I was made to feel like I was disposable and of no value. Since she stated at least twice that she didnt remember anything from the last time I was in. Oh I feel so seen and heard. Thats not something a repeat customer wants to hear. So after being told not lectured mind you, the waxing itself was pretty tense. I tried to ease that by paying her a compliment. I really liked the way you shaped by eyebrows the last time. Her response? I dont remember any of that. Cool. So you dont remember me or what you did last time. I feel so welcomed. She was just annoyed that I was late. Be professional. Dont let your petty little attitude get in the way of your job. I wasnt looking for special treatment. I had acknowledged I was late and then apologized. Thats no excuse to make me feel like trash.Oh and did I mention she couldnt even keep the appointments straight anyways? I arrived and she told me to remove my clothes thinking I was getting a Brazilian. Suffice it to say I wont be coming back. I can pay $25 to someone else and not be made to feel like an absolute monster. I live two blocks from here so I would have come in for months and years to come. So congrats. You just played yourself and lost a good paying customer. Youll remember me now, wont you?

I LOVE Brave Kitty Waxing!! Marcela is AMAZING and her Brazilians are incredibly fast and professional. I never feel weird exposing myself to her haha It’s just like visiting a girlfriend you haven’t seen for a couple months. I love that her appts are in 15min time blocks, that means she has to be efficient and on top of her game. What does that mean for us?? 1) Less than 10min for a Brazilian wax!! Holy Grail status!!!! 2) She’s ON TIME for your appointment. You can go during your lunch and for sure you will be seen at your booked time. Thats super important in the beauty industry bc when you’re as in demand as she is... that’s means there’s a lot of hairy ladies out there needing their fix from Marcela. I had a great experience with Marcela for my first ever wax. There was barely any pain and she was super quick, she made me feel super comfortable through the whole process!

This is solely based off the postwax. I got home and see that I was now back at square one. I had been growing my hair out for 4+ months from my first previously perfect Brazilian wax(no scars no ingrowns) I had at another place. I get home to check it out(couldn’t really do it there because I was sort of rushed but that’s fine, I get that I was the first customer) and find that I had a few ingrown hairs/scars and was completely dissapointed. My other service from there was nice and left smooth(which I loved). Now it has also been only about a week or so and my hair is starting to grow in which is pretty fast considering it took my hair about a month to start to grow in from my previous wax. 5 stars to the place and owner but 2 for the wax itself. Please ask questions and know what you want especially if it’s your first time going there. I was a little all over the place with figuring out what I wanted and ended up getting a service I didn’t really need but owner still did it(money hungry?) Also ask what type of wax and method they do too so you can get a glimpse if it’s for you or not. What work for others effortlessly may not work for you.

Omg girls today was my first time going to Brave Kitty after looking up on yelp and saw all the great reviews since I have had bad experiences at other wax places so I decided to give it a shot right after work I came here the staff is awesome I forgot his name but his the receptionist very cool sweet guy and Marcela the the girl who did my brazilian wax was so professional!
