HORRIBLE everything!!!- They really take advantage of the “fine print.”- Judging from my experience and the experiences of others that I’ve read the reviews; it completely appears to be a company wide systematic process that is basically designed to con people.- Also judging from my experience and the experiences of others reviews; it does not appear that everyone at the company is on board with treating customers so poorly and taking advantage of them financially.- I have many blatant and ridiculous issues to report; but am waiting for attorney advice before doing so.* If you happen to make the same mistake I did, and try to go with this rental company because of their supposed low prices; I advise you to make sure the employee you deal with at pick up is thorough with policy explaining. Take the time to understand what you’re agreeing to. I realize it’s wise to do this with any signed agreement; however I’ve trusted the professionalism, integrity, and honesty of every one of the (many) car rental agencies I’ve gone with before. I had one issue with a bigger rental company in the past; where I didn’t understand a fee regarding tolls. The specialist I spoke with treated me like a person, and worked with me to fix the problem.Also, I suggest you make certain to record a video of the entire body (inside and out) of the car you rent.
DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY HERE. Terrible place, customer service extremely poor, the associates don’t know what are they charging but still you are obligated to pay. 4 different taxes included on the bill and again nobody knows what is that for. You need to return the car before six or otherwise more fees.
Absolutely worst rental place in the US. Look at the other reviews. Not only theyre clearly trying to scam other people, theyre extremely rude and unprofessional. My experience was the exact same as every other negative review here. Do not do the same mistake as us. Do not rent from this place.
The service was great. I was a bit scared after reading the reviews but I can tell you that from the moment we walked in the service guys came and helped us out quickly we were in and out in no time. When we returned we were met with the service team outside and the shuttle was ready to take us to the airport. We did not have any issues and I cant thank them enough for the great service.
Unfortunately I did not read any of the posted reviews before renting from them otherwise would have stayed away; the rate was very attractive though but now I know why; they try to sell you insurance for about $35 per day when you pick up the car; so they have all the fine prints about the insurance they would accept (basically none but the one you buy from them); I returned the car and they point to a two inch paint stain (probably from another car door) see the photos and they asked to file a claim report with my credit card which I used for CDW. Never seen a rental car do this before and I am a business traveler and rent a car every week; the known practice if there are no dents larger than a golf ball there is no claims, also paint stains or minor scratches never count but not with this company; so be careful and your better of selecting a reputable company as all reviews said ; I am usually very happy with Enterprise/Alamo service.
I am frequent renter from U-save and I can honestly say I experience consistent above and beyond customer service. I always recommend U-save to my friends & family. However, Jesse is a bad seed! The two times I have had experiences with him as the car return agent, have both been horrible. The first time he was blatantly rude and passive aggressive to my mother which we wrote off as one bad day. However, after today it is clear he is bringing down the entire fleet with his ill mannered customer service. Grumpy is an understatement. Im simply writing this review because Id like it to be on record and Id like to forewarn the community.
Helpful and nice staff. Had to wait a little long for the shuttle but their hospitality made up for it. They let me take my time and choose what exactly I wanted to do with the car. No hidden extra fees, and an easy experience with Amir!
This company is a SCAM. They charged the full amout of my reservation to my Visa Debit card a week before my trip. Once I got my reservation confirmation online there was a notification that alerts you, for the first time, that they only take Major Credit Cards. They wont take deposits. They just want to rip you off. They have no compassion for people who need a car and are stuck at their seedy shop with no other options.They take Debit Visas for full payment of their NON Refundable reservation online. The take the entire purchase price of the rental and refuse to give you the car when you arrive without a regular credit card. They billed my Visa Debit for the entire amount and refused to refund me! They stated that I agreed to their terms online. I wasnt made aware of this catch until they sent me a confirmation email the day before my trip.It is not worth the supposed savings. I never saw this until they sent me the confirmation email the night before my trip. I tried to get a refund and they said, You agreed to it. Total scam!I see that many people are reporting this rental agency. I filed a fraud claim with my bank. I will continue to persue them and report them.This was awful! Being stranded at LAX in 106° weather is unbelievably stressful. How can they get away with this? Their agents are rude and downright cruel. Please choose any other rental agency. They are shady beyond belief. Read other reviews if I have not convinced you. I would give them zero stars if it was an option.Also, save yourself from being ripped off and pressured into purchasing insurance you dont need. As I read all of the bwgative comments I saw that they are taking advantage of people who are traveling abroad in a diffent way too! The folks that are have prepaid and do not get a car are often stuck with paying for another agencies car and the fact that the full NONREFUNDABLE fees have already been taken from thier account can be catastrophic for people on a budget. Some people dont have the extra money to go pay $300 for a car from a different agency. They get you in, they have already taken your NON REFUNDABLE payment and then also insist you to buy their insurance. The insurence is like $25 a day. That makes the car cost as much, or even more, then a credible agencies auto. Other customers are held hostage for hours, trying to convince them that their own insurance isnt enough. These are lies and this agency is fine with their criminal behavior.I wish I had checked their reviews when I had the chance. Beware, go anywhere else for a car, please.
We had no problem with these guys; everything was just fine, and the car was very inexpensive. As with all rental car agencies, there was a bit of a delay getting the rental paperwork done, but the folks were very nice. Its convenient to take the Four Points shuttle from LAX to their rental counter, which is inside the hotel. Return was quick and easy. Make sure to take your proof of insurance card with you. I recommend that you give these guys a try.
I had a great experience from my time here in California. Josh I believe was his name with the braids. was very helpful. Picked up returned our car in a smooth transition. You get what you pay for so dont complain. I enjoyed our new 2018 nissan rogue. Will be renting here when i come back.
I came to pick up a car hoping to change my reservation to my husbands name because I had lost my license the day before. 😬 They couldn’t give me the car without my license, and even when they cancelled my reservation they couldn’t immediately rent the car to my husband because the system doesn’t update that quickly. But the woman at the counter, Raven, was SO kind and not only gave us a full refund, but started looking online at other nearby rental companies and found a comparable car for us to rent for only $5 more than our other car and then gave us a ride to that location at no charge.
Worst experience I’ve ever had in my life. Total bait and switch advertising. They advertise low rates, but then when you come to claim your reservation, they present additional terms which include a MANDATORY $400 deposit. It sounds like based on other reviews that they regularly scam customers in order to keep the deposit. When I read these reviews and also saw the $400 mandatory deposit, I immediately sought to cancel my reservation. They now want to keep the entire amount for my reservation, even though the language in the contract clearly states they are only entitled to 1 day plus day if there is less than 48 hours notice of the cancellation. Keep in mind this was after 8 pm on Christmas and I had my elderly father and infant daughter with me when this was happening. These people are complete crooks. I took my money to Enterprise that night. I might not get my money back, but at least I’m not giving into their crooked sales tactics
Do not rent from here. There are random small groups of guys sitting and smoking weed in the rental cars in the parking lot. Not professional at all. The receptionists did not acknowledge us when we got to the counter to rent the car. When we tried to call them, the number they initially had was out of service which already was a red flag. We asked the lady that was helping us if she knew of any places to eat around the area and she just starred at us for a moment as if we were speaking a foreign language. Go somewhere else!
Be careful to rent at this company. First time rented here and fuel was not full when returned make sure The fuel level is where it was otherwise you will pay for hefty charge. When rent the car check the car carefully otherwise if you have a small dent that you did not mark it then be problem when you return. Be carefull the rental price may be cheap but they can get you easily.
My opinion,1.3 rating for this place is too low.basically you get what you pay for. There is a total of ~3 staff and dozen of people who want to rent cheap cars.1_The car you get is in decent condition.2_ you purchase insurance from them you don`t get an emergency number. Called office number left three voicemails after two day no call back. I cant deal with flat tire3_you have to wait a bit longer for the shuttle no a big deal if you are not in hurry4_ you pay less than the most of other renting companies
Gave me a car with a flat tire. No problem, so I filled it up and the flat tire light turned off. After four days I had a blowout taking it back so I put on the spare and they charged me for the whole tire. TOTAL rip off. DO NOT go through them. Pay a little extra and go through a bigger name company
Horrible! The worse rental car service ever! Dont make my mistake and stay away from U-Save! you dont save at all with them. They hold $400 deposit on your car( which is more than other rentals). I specifically asked about the tollway, and the girl insured me that they take care of it...so I didnt worry about paying for toll. I noticed a $35 charge on my card from U-SAVE about 3 weeks ago and have been trying to get an answer why I was charged...from calling to one number to another then leaving messages no one called me backAnd then another surprise came today from California tollway I have to pay $124 in penalties for not paying for toll!!!??? So more phone calls to customer service and no one is giving me an answer. Call this number...then call that number... its endless... I am so mad at myself for not reading the reviews... dont make my mistake they are the worst
After reading the fine print in my confirmation email, I was made aware of where U-Save was and how to get to the hotel it was located at. However, I had to ask hotel employees just where in the hotel it was. Upon arriving at the rental location I found out for the first time that I had to have liability insurance. While most of these reviews say that this is a scam, it is in fact state law for California (but not most other states). What bugs me about this company is their lack of notifying renters of this policy. That is poor customer service. Thankfully I had Abel handling our rental, and he was willing to accept the insurance policy number, instead of trying to force me to buy their insurance. The other policy that I and so many other customers were unaware of was the $400 credit card freeze, which was about twice the cost of the rental itself, after you add the insurance. You would think a legitimate company would let you know about that beforehand so you can prepare to hand them that much up front, but they dont. I thought the rental car was fairly clean and a lot of fun to drive around. I received it with half a tank of gas, or around 250 miles, and enjoyed the rather large driving range of the vehicle. When I returned the vehicle I made sure to stay with the agent inspecting my vehicle, and he cleared me, so I signed off on a document crediting me with $400. One of the agents even told me he was sending the $400 back at that very moment. Abel even handed us complimentary water bottles when I asked where the nearest water fountain was. Nearly a week later though, that $400 had still not been credited back to me, so I decided to call U-Save to inquire about it. The first number I tried had been disconnected, and the second number sent me to a list of options, each of which, after selecting, ultimately went to voicemail. I ended up calling the Four Points Sheraton in which U-Save is located, and their front desk tried to call them, only to be sent to voicemail themselves. At this point the woman at the hotels front desk informed me that she would take my contact information and physically walk it over to U-Save. The next morning I looked at my bank accounts and finally saw $400 credited back to me. I may not have been scammed, and I thought the guys at the front desk were actually fairly amicable. But theres too much in the way of up-front costs that customers are not made aware of, and too much hassle to get them to stay true to their word for me to recommend renting from U-Save at this time. What they need is more transparency and maybe a little overhaul of their rental system.
I really need the zero star option! It was my first experience with this company and the worst choice ever!the employees are just rude and not cooperative. they force you to buy their own insurance which is over priced and threat you for charges in case of not buying their insurance! horrible customer service!thats the last thing I wanted after a long trip with heavy luggage!
Not worth the $5 youll save by not using a reputable company. Weve been waiting for a shuttle for over an hour. Within that time weve seen one shuttle going to U-Save and it was full. They told us shuttles come every 25 minutes. Were tired from traveling, cold and uncomfortable. Plus were having to breathe all these terrible bus fumes. Get it together, U-Save. If you cant give better service, at least be honest with your customers. Looks like were going to have to pay for a cab to get there. Dont even want to do business with you all anymore.
We rented a car through USAVE and had the worst experience EVER! When we got there they tried to charge us more money for insurance that was not necessary because we already had it, then they were going to charge us a $400 deposit which is ridiculously high. As we were in there; 2 more people came in to drop cars off and ended up losing their $400 deposit because they were told they had smoked in the vehicles and that the vehicles were filthy...of course the customers were irate because neither accusation was true. This car rental place are terrible for ripping people off. The employees were also very rude...one gentleman came in because he had accidentally left his personal keys in the vehicle he had just dropped off the night before and they were trying to tell him that he didnt when in fact they actually did have them and did eventually give them back. We later found out that they have done this numerous times and that they were actually kicked out of the airport because there were so many customer complaints of being ripped off. Now a days people cant afford to lose that kind of money. I wish I had seen the reviews on this place before we rented from them because we could have avoided a lot of stress and hassle. My advice to anyone thinking of getting a car rental from them is DONT DO IT!! I wouldnt have given them a star rating at all if that had been an option but unfortunately it isnt.
Go ANYWHERE else - its more than worth it. Worst car rental experience of my life. Waited an hour for the airport shuttle, and called them multiple times while waiting (to assurances from them that it was almost there). Shuttle never actually came. We took the budget shuttle and ended up canceling our prepaid reservation over the phone. They did cancel it, then gave us wrong info on who to contact to get our refund over and over, even when we stopped in in-person. Never an apology. Worst customer service Ive experienced that I can remember. Book elsewhere - its very much worth the few dollars you might save.
I went there, there was no one waiting for a car. It was fast and easy. The one thing I have to say was that, the car wasnt full with gas. So I needed to fill it up. But they were nice and helpful.
Tricks, scams, lies and unprofessional attitudeutterly terrible attitude towards customers. they had lied about the insurance and sneaked in an extra charge of $15 a day for a fake insurance! their insurance, so called upgins was unsearchable and had no insurance number to confirm the policy. furthermore, when questioned about this, they refused to give a clear explanation and attempted to stop me from communicating with other customers who r about to fall into the same trap. i already purchased all the necessary legal insurance and check with the rental counter when picking up the car. however when i went to return it, they managed to sneak in the extra charge with the claim that it was a state requirement. no information about this was found anywhere on the net. i had insurance, the u save people said i did, then they went to sneak in an extra fee. totally unprofessional...OUTRIGHT SCAM! WILL NEVER RETURN
My flight got delayed and they didnt have 24 hour pick up, (just know if you have a late flight they will probably be closed by the time you arrive and you will be carless) it was almost impossible to get somebody to answer the phones, and when they did nobody could work with me to make it so I could get the car upon arrival. so I was stuck at the airport waiting for them so open. Then they opened and the girl at the desk was nice enough, but she said I technically missed my pick up time (that I called and told them Id be missing) but that she was going to give me the car (that I prepaid for and reserved over a month ago) just this once and said she was probably going to get in trouble for it like she was doing me a favor. Then said she hoped it was ok that the tank was literally on empty... which, it isnt. Then they tried to get me to purchase their insurance, then they told me UPON ARRIVAL that they freeze $400 on your credit card in case of damage or anything- I know most places will take card info or a damage deposit but Ive always known about it up front and what the amount was. Thats $400 that I expected to have for this trip- And $400 I wouldnt even be able to defend myself against if they felt like keeping the money because my drop off time to return the car wasnt during their business hours either! Thats a terrible policy for a company that could do damage to the car after you drop it off and say it was you because they dont want to pay to keep staff there to receive and inspect the cars for people with early flights. The guy, who Im assuming was the manager, talked to me like he was scolding a teenager and said it was all in their fine print when I suggested they make their policy more clear upon prepaying.I ended up demanding they refund me and they gave me a partial refund even though my pick up time was just before their closing hours and I was there the second they opened so they never even lost a sale and I never even saw the car. Bottom line- I feel like I dodged a bullet by just getting out of there. Car rental places can be so shady in general and they were very unclear about their policies so I wouldnt recommend renting from them.

HORRIBLE SERVICE !!Went up to counter with my bf all he said is that he has his own ins and the manager said something in Spanish and he gave him his credit card back and license and said go somewhere else ! 10/17/2017 @10:15 am! He shouldn’t even be a manager.. no people skills, rude did not even look at us. This is a fancy hotel that this car rental is in and it’s giving it a bad name!
You get what you pay for. Cheapest car rental ever. Zero problems the entire week I had the car. All good, right? Dropped the car off at night, signed the agreement acknowledging no damage to the vehicle (which was already severely scraped up all over the place). Then, the next day I get a call that said after moving the car and seeing it the next day, they noticed damage to the hood. Well, its damage I certainly did not cause and wasnt noticed by anyone when the car left my possession. Now, Im fighting them and my insurance company because they wont get a cent of my money to pay for their negligence and cover-up.
I would never recommend this place. First I couldnt figure out where to go to get my rental. I called their number and the gentleman put me on hold while he got ahold of the actual location. Once he returned (10 minutes later) he had me talk to a woman from U-Save who told me to get on a Sheraton van which runs every 20 minutes. When arriving at the Sheraton the driver informed any of us who are with U-Save to go through the hotel way on the other side of the hotel. He said theres no sign but its there on the other side. Once there I was pressured to get insurance even though I already had insurance. Three times I said no thank you. I told him I was only renting the car for 4 hours. The same gentleman who helped me had to go out and run and get the car and bring it up. Once on the road for 2 or 3 miles the gas light came on! Who rents you a car on empty!?!? I called their number and left a message and then 2 more times and never talked to anyone. When I returned the car the same gentleman checked me back in and asked if there was at least 1/4 of a tank of gas?! I told him how I was given the car with no gas in it. He asked again Mam, is there a 1/4 tank of gas. I said yes and you owe me $8 for it since you gave me an empty car. He said to me again. MAM, is there a 1/4 tank of gas in the car. I repeated myself again and he said ok leave! I walked away saying believe me I will and I will let everyone know not to rent from them. Horrible! They will certainly not be in business long thats for sure!!!
Just rented from this company for my trip and although the car worked out well (it was small and what I needed) they pick up at the airport took forever, the line to check in was long and unprofessional. It was almost impossible to find the the company. Then when I got there they MADE me buy their insurance, even though I had just met with my insurance agent for traveling and had full coverage for rental cars, but I did not bring my proof of insurance so they would not let me leave without it. Now I am struggling to find out how to pay for tolls that I incurred while driving around OC. I just tried to call the office to discuss this and no one is picking up the line and then at the end it says that this number has been disconnected. Do not rent from this company. It seems like a good price, but it is true you get what you pay for and this is a prime example of this. RENT FROM SOMEONE ... ANYONE ELSE.
Do not make the same mistake I did by saving the extra $30. They do not have the cars that they said they do on the website. We ordered a luxury Lincoln MKZ or similar, they offered us a Toyota Camry and said that they dont even carry lincolns in their lot. When we asked to lower our price because they didnt promise what they said, they declined a price reduction.Now for the $400 hold on your card that is required for every purchase. They WILL charge you $400 no matter what.Lots of hidden fees that online does not state.Employees are rude, the manager is worse than the employees. The guy that works in the lot that cleans the cars was more professional than the employees at the counter.They will force you to use their insurance even if you show proof of insurance. No exceptions to this insurance scam and they make you pay for their gas saying its cheaper for them to fill it up.
THE WORST! Booked a car online for 1130pm pick up...waited at least 30 min for shuttle, only to arrive and find out they close at 10pm! No answers to phone calls...total inconvenienced. Do not use these guys! IN the end booked with someone else for the next day and it was less than half price??!!

I definitely recommend not to use this rental car!!Its terrible tough to reach this office from LAX airport, and we tried to ask them but nobody responded our call. Then we finally arrived there but they already closed. As we booked via Expedia, we confirmed with staff in Expedia about no charge because we could not pick up a car. However, U-save car charged!! Even though they offer no show fee, they should ask us!! We lost a long long time this night and spend extra money to pay them in addition to new rental car in another office (this was awesome).
Utterly terrible service. My friend and I were given a car with in LA. After filling the tank a flat was noticed and the car was taken back and replaced after a wait. After returning the replacement car at the end of the trip we have been penalized for not filling the tank of the second car on its return, meaning weve been fined for not filling up BOTH cars, even though we only used one. The rental cost twice as much as expected due to the added fees. Staff at the collection point gave incorrect information regarding how the hire would be affected. Useless. Rest assured I will never recommend this company. They seem out to screw you over.
Was hard trying to find it. It is at the four point Sheraton hotel, but there was nothing to explain how to get to the location when u arrive in LA from the airport. Service was really good though.
I wish I can give them a rating lower than one star. For all future renters, please stay ten thousand miles away from this company. They use the tactics of giving a low price but force the customers to pay for insurance (if you do not have your insurance card with you) and require you to drive less than 200 miles a day (otherwise youll have to pay $.35 per extra mile). The unethical thing is that they dont let the customer know about these policies in advance. Their staff is also very rude and unhelpful and carries a very negative I dont care about you attitude. I travel a lot and this is the first car rental company that uses these dirty tactics to make money.
Had to wait for 40 minutes in a queue even tho i had booked and paid online. At the counter they charged me 40% more than the online price with no explanation. One cannot back out at that point after waiting for so long in the queue.
Rental Car ran fine, but was only 3/4 fill. Took ages to get served and the 3 groups in front of us all needed different vehicles.
Dont rent there. They try to cheat on you. Booked and paid online for a Chevrolet Impala Fullsize. Shuttle from LAX to Four Points hotel should be every 25 Min. We waited almost an hour. Finally at the hotel the guy tried to tell me, that I have to buy an extra insurance about $50. This I already paid online was not right. I told him this is not our first stay at LA.After many discussions we paid $38 and he said we get an upgrade on SUV.Then he gave us a Nissan Rouge. A Minni SUV. This is a joke. I booked an Chevrolet and got an Asian car. Outside I did not see any US cars. Only Nissan!I cannot recommend usave car rental. Cause u do not save. They should be called upaymore. Never again.Never had such an experience at Alamo, National, Avis, Enterprise.
Terrible. Had a rental car booked, when I got there they were closed. Came back the next day and found out they require you purchase additional liability insurance from the US which wouldve more than doubled my rental cost. My insurance company confirmed I already have liability insurance that is valid in the US. Other rental companies have accepted this. So I can only assume this is a cash-grab. The person at the counter was rude when I suggested they be more up-front about their costs. Save yourself the headache.
Terrible location, feel like you are trapped into renting the car with all the added contract options. Employees are jaded because the management and operations policies create hostile consumers. I doubt the location will last long. Car was fine.
The two vs one star is because my rental was clean and nice. It drove well. However, the customer service ia lacking, the process to get picked up at the airport took 45 min for a shuttle. The line for the counter took 40 min. Then the drop off was confusing and I had to wait 45 min for a shuttle to get me back to the airport. Horrible.
Never rent from this company. They have thousands of dollars in toll violations attached to their rental cars and if you rent with them you run the risk of being charged for amounts of toll citations that you are not responsible for. This happened to me, and when I called to get help with rectifying the 550.00 that I was charged, the unhelpful customer service rep said he wouldnt help and this was entirely my fault. So, Ive experienced the worst customer service, was charged for other peoples toll violations and received zero support with a matter that is the entire fault of USAVE. This company does not pay their toll violations and they try to rip off their customers by trying to put the bill on them. They also charge you a 35 admin fee just to do this illegal activity. NEVER rent with the.

I booked my flight and a Usave rental car thru Travelocity...the price for the car was pretty attractive..should have been my first clue. A few days before I left i decided to check some reviews..Whoa..all bad. I checked with Hertz and got a similar vehicle for $10 more and cancelled the U Save ..or so I thought . Although Hertz encouraged me to take the insurance coverage I declined as I am covered by my auto InsuranceI noticed a pending charge that then converted to a charge after I returned for $27. I disputed the charge with my CC company and it was resolved and credited in 24 hoursBuyer or in this case renter beware ..and read reviews
I wish I saw the reviews before I made a reservation. Do yourself a favor and go with a REAL car rental company. They will fool you with the low initial price and triple the cost with fees. Also not sure what happened with the hotel shuttle, but I stood outside the airport for more than an hour waiting for a shuttle. This is not worth your time.
Horrible customer service. Email confirmation says one thing and they say something completely different at the counter. Did not want to work with us at all. They made us stranded in Los angeles. Will never ever book with them again. Would not recommended to my worst enemys.
Very unprofessional agents that work at this location. I waited in line for 20mins and then waited at the counter for 30mins because the agent could not process my transaction correctly. One agent was standing behind the counter complaining loudly about her job in front of customers, it was complete chaos. I booked my rental through Expedia and never had to pay additional fees on unlimited mileage and U-save wanted to charge me for unlimited mileage. The communication was very poor and I walked away car-less. I will never book a reservation with them again!

Don’t rent here. I booked a car at 31.85. But ended up paying 83.63 plus $350 deposit. So slow, I got tired, then just paid whatever they asked. $20 a day insurance plus something and something.
Bad service all around, long waiting at shuttle bus line because they dont have their shuttle bus, customer service not answering the phone, not returning voice mail, over charge for gas. Stay away from them!
TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE! Booked and prepaid for my full sized vehicle. After waiting almost 30 minutes for tge shuttle, we were dropped off at front door of the hotel with no further instruction. Finally found the counter just in time to hear them tell the 2 customers in front of us tgat they have no cars available, even if you had,a prepaid reservation. Once it was my turn, I was also informed that they had no cars available for me either. The rep said this happens all the time and she doesnt know why..... she tgen told me I could wait around and see if a car was returned but she couldnt guarantee that it wont be totalled or something (???)Totally unprofessional, DONT DO IT!!!!!

A complete disaster. I would suggest not trying to save a few dollars by booking with them. I have a few points to make: 1. Your gonna wait in line at least 30 mins to pick up your rental 2. Theyre gonna ding you with high pressure sales telling you that its manditory and your credit card wont cover it. 3. They dont answer there phone (Not available to address your concerns) 4. The vehicle we rented was absolutely filthy. Stains in the seats, marks on the sunvisor that resembled blood splashes and very bad odor throughout the vehicle. Please take my advice and avoid this location. The only positIve I can say is that one of the employees seemed very friendly, but overall I had a very bad experience.
U-Save is an Scam car rental PLEASE DO NOT rent car from U-Save. I booked an compact car $24/day 3months before my vacation. 1st we thought WOW! got a good deal and inorgn all the negtive review. :( 3months later when i got there their told us out of car, well by the christmas time that price is cheap compare to other car rental. we chat with representative we can accept any alternative cars, then they offer us to pick up compact car from Sixt car rental they will reimburse the diferents. i trust them. after the vacation i start my reimburse the process with U-Save car rental corp 3times no body respond email & phone & message until i said will taken legal action. then i got the 1st respond said working on it then sleep again! long story short. until now already 3months i still didnt get my reimburst yet! I have to post public this and file this case to court need to stop this U-Save Car Truck Rental SCAM!!!
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE in the office and on their website. Ive been trying to get a hold of their customer support for over a week to resolve an issue and Ive heard nothing. PLEASE, pay the extra few dollars a day for Budget, Enterprise etc because you will be hit with heavy hidden fees upon arrival. They have a whole sheet of company policies they hit you with when you get there that does not show up when booking online. I cancelled my reservation with them and they lied to me about how to go about getting a refund. The guy also told me they recently stopped accepting Canadian Mastercards...??? What?! Will never, ever consider U-Save again.
These people are a rip off. I went online to get a car at the last minute because I of stupid issues with enterprise. So I had to come to this place. I asked for Ontario Airport location. And their web site showed Ontario. After making the purchase online it showed to pick up at LAX. I immediately called them and was transferred about a hundred times. I contacted the call center the Orange county office and they kept telling me that they would make sure i was not charged. Unfortunately I found out I was. Tried to call them to reverse the charges. No one will return my call. So I contacted my bank. These damn people had the nerve to state that once purchased online they will not refund. Well 25.00 or not they are in for a fight from my bank.
I made a reservation before seeing all the bad reviews, and was worried, but there was no problem with my reservation, car was fine and check in/out was easy. Shuttle to pick me up was there within 5 minutes
Similar review to others. Worst car rental company Ive ever dealt with, basically scammers and cheats. Do yourself a favor and book your car elsewhere....
They will force you to buy an insurance. Not nice. Even I have an collision insurance but they want you to buy it from their company only. Not nice. Bad service ever!!!

Zero stars to the worst company in the world! They charge you $12.50 just because you rent the car from the hotel! Im calling the BBB tomorrow!
Why isnt there a zero star option? Would not rent to us without making us pay to use our own insurance, and had to provide proof of insurance. We chose Dodge Charger or Similar and all they had was a tiny 4-door sedan. Tried to pin car damage on us when we returned: they found this damage in the dark without looking anywhere else on the car. Avoid at all costs - U will not Save!

Ridiculous $400 deposit to rent here. Then they charge you $35 for toll roads that you didnt take, and dont honor the car type you selected with your reservation. They also tried to blame me for damage on my car that was preexisting. Theyre also chronically understaffed and take forever, and didnt return the mp3 player I accidentally left in my rental car. Please go anywhere else.
Worst experience I ever had.. 400 dollars deposit plus they wanted to add 12.99 per day for liability with a 9 dollars full cover insurance that I had already purchase with the rental... plus 20 dollars for using a debit card, car was super dirty with stains on the seats and doors tires were Almost gone .. so if you had a blow tire they charge you for it.. 35.00 dollars if they need yo mail you something its outrageous
They are just THIEF! They charge us 2 days instead of one, cause they write it down 11pm instead of 11am. When I try to open a Clain they where so rude and end the call.

Worst experience renting a car - charged exorbitant amount for insurance, told me that I could add a driver by phone and then refused, impossible to find. Misrepresentation was the worst as I was not close enough to add a driver.

Incredibly poor customer service, refused to accept my insurance even though it met their terms and conditions and insisted I buy theirs at 25USD per day. Ended up walking out and renting at FOX around the corner. All round a very unprofessional and unhelpful company. Avoid.

Gave me a 2015 convertible camaro instead of a 2017. Roof is noisy. No water. Wipers are old.
I waited over and hours for the shuttle, contact all the numbers had been disconnected, worst company to deal with, do not rent from this company
