I wont recommend you This place. Be careful they are not lube technicians just regular people .they use the lowest quality of oil and they put colored water(blue) in your car .I noticed when they were doing my car . Think twice before going

Very smart guy, Mr. Max. He helped my old car with new oil. And theyre not joking around when they say they have fast service. Hands down, Mr. Max is the best at what he does.

I went here to get an oil change done fast as I was in a pinch, everything was going good until the dude tried to rip me off. I work on cars myself and know my way around cars. This guy un did the oil drain nut in my face and said look at your transmission fluid stating it needed to be changed. He said this not knowing I had just did this 2k miles earlier. I just decline and allowed him to continue with the oil change. Avoid these crooks, they will definitely try to take advantage of you. If they state anything needs to be repaired or changed on your vehicle please get a second opinion before trusting these dudes.

My experience so far at 10-Minute Oil and General Mechanics has been excellent, at least for the most part. They offer warranties on work performed there in case of repeat problems. Mechanics also offer rides home, whether using my car or another. They are fast and efficient. I recommend this place on Beverly blvd near Vermont.

The guys here did a good job changing my oil and were friendly. The problem I had here is that they tried to upsell me to change my transmission fluid. I own a Honda Civic with a CVT transmission, and you have to be careful with which fluid you add. It is only recommended to use Genuine Honda HCF-2 transmission fluid, which has a greenish color. The mechanics here tried to sell me a transmission fluid change with another brand which was Castrol I believe and it had a red color. If I had mixed up the Honda fluid with this one, it could have caused problems to my transmission. Be skeptical about their transmission service. On this type of service, it is mostly recommended to use OEM fluids, especially for Hondas.

Great experience here and fantastic service. It really was super fast and simple. The price was fair, and the mechanic checked all of my fluid levels while the oil was draining into the pan. Ill definitely come back to this place next time I dont want to change my own oil.

Careful with those guys! The scheme is easy: if they see that you’re not a profi and you don’t know anything about cars - they will try to sell you something like changing the transmission oil or something else. They even will show you your cars transmission oil without opening transmission box. Careful

Awesome place. The owner is quick with the service and very knowledgeable about all types of cars. Theyre very helpful and nice. They did a quick inspection of my car and did not try to force any unnecessary replacements on my car.

I had an extremely great first-time experience here and will be coming back for future oil changes. The staff were extremely accommodating and their oil change service is actually that fast.The person in charge who took care of the payment transaction asked me if it was my first time. I said yes and he automatically gave me a discount. That was very nice of bed and shows that they understand great customer service & what is need to build customer loyalty.They are also right next to a delicious Salvadorian restaurant so you can easily get your food fix while you wait.

Stop giving your money to big corporations like OReillys and AutoZone, come here and support local business!I came from Palm Springs, had changed my oil that morning, and thought my drain plug wasnt tightened all the way. So, I called AutoZone, they said they could only help if I bought a full oil change! So I called this place, asked for an oil change without giving them any knowledge that I simply needed a tightened drain plug. Upon inspecting the car, they said there was no reason to service! I even offered cash for their time, they wouldnt take it!Spend your hard earned money with hard working, honest people, like the people that run this business!

My car had a serious issue with its steering after an accident and Marvin at 10 Minute Oil & General Mechanic was able to fix my car at a very affordable price and in a timely manner. When left in a bad position, Marvin was able to order the required part quickly and the repair ended up being much cheaper than expected. Couldnt thank these mechanics enough for the service they provided. Honest and hard working people that were able to get my car back on the road very quickly. Would highly recommend this business for any mechanic needs.

So glad I came here! After reading all the great reviews, I decided to give it a whirl, and I’m beyond happy. They were so kind, changed my oil under 10 minutes, and even put air in my tires for no additional cost. Javier was so nice and showed me that my transmission fluid was looking black and it might be time for a change (he’s right - I definitely need to get it changed!) but he wasn’t pushy about it at all! I will definitely be going back to this spot for my next oil change and transmission flush!

Although the hours say they are open until midnight everyday, this is not usually the case! I went one night and the shutters were down, so i had to go back at another time. BUT, the second time I went, a friendly worker helped me out! And the process is very quick because they dont have to lift your car!! Im new to the neighborhood and needed to find a great place for my regular checkups and came across this place. Instantly loved the customer service! I love the family atmosphere. The little boy is so adorable! Just great people and the owner max is really funny and completely understandable. This is a wonderful, family run establishment and Max treats you equally as family. I came in for an oil change (done in 10 mins, fast and fair prices!) and Max informed me of a broken motor mount on my vehicle. His prices were very fair and I felt I could trust his recommendation. He ordered the part for me and it arrived/was installed 2 days later. Service was extremely fast (done in less than an hour,) friendly, and I never felt taken advantage of. Highly recommend this establishment. Thank you Max!

I came in regards to an evap system issue and not an oil change - that was probably not the move. I figured I didnt have much to lose with a free diagnostic. I was told that the cause of my check engine light was the aftermarket filter on my car, and that I should obtain the original part. Skeptical, I cleaned it, check engine light came on again. I was also asked a few times to change the battery and alternator (theres some funky issues with my cluster), and my cries of *the voltage is fine* went unheard. Do give em a shot for oil changes but, perhaps not with further repairs. Kind and genuine people.

BEWARE: This guys is a crook. He stole my friends car under the guise of helping him sell it. Do not trust this place. They will steal anything they can from you...especially if you’re not well versed in cars.

THE TRUTH; they’ll give you a quick, easy professional oil change and check the others like tires etc BUT be aware like ALL mechanics they’ll also try in throw in some extras... namely a transmission change due to discoloration in it (which is normal). Just be aware of this fact and say “no” and you’ll be all set! Go in knowing what you want and buy that one thing only.

Ive been going to Max at 10 Minute Oil Change for years. Since I leased a vehicle in 2013 for a 3-year term I had maintenance covered at the dealer and didnt see him during this time. Now that I own the vehicle Im glad to be back. I can always get an easy, honest estimate without attempting to get me to do consider unnecessary parts or repairs. The late hours are also extremely convenient. Do not go to a chain repair shop before getting an estimate from Max!

Looked suspicious as two persons were having different opinion on my cars brake pad. I went there to change my brake pad. One guy was saying my brake pad has to be replaced right now and another was saying it might go 1000 more miles. So I left quickly 😁

AWESOME. Im so relieved to have found a mechanic shop that doesnt piss me off or rip me off. As a female I always get high quotes. Excellent, speedy service, great prices. Friendliness is very important to me. As a paying customer, I dont expect red carpet treatment, just that I get what Im promised and am not treated rudely. Go to this place. We came in because their review on Google was way beyond the competition and for good reason. Theyre open 7 days and til late. They changed the oil and checked the car quickly. The wait time was 15 min plus maybe 10 min for the car ahead of us. Theyve been there 45 years already and Ill definitely be back.

Been coming here for the past 9 yrs prices are reasonable and they care about their customers. Just come w a good attitude they will take care of you . Very knowledgeable workers they will even let you know of things going bad in your car so you can fix that up .

Brought my Lexus in to have the transmission fluid flushed. I had been there before with my pick up truck, with good results, but this time was different. Three cars were in the bay when I got there and it still took 1:45 minutes to complete. Nothing was placed in the vehicle to protect the carpets and seats. The whole team seemed very unprofessional. Not sure Ill go back there again.

Great place to get your car worked on. Needed an oil change and the mechanic showed me some parts that needed to be fixed. Ended up getting all the work I needed done. Owner even drove me home when they needed to keep the car.

Very poor service and untrustworthy people. A car is definitely worth the pay when it comes to maintenance because in the long run its worth it, but what are you really paying for? Mainly the service. First the mechanic tries to over charge me in a simple transmission fluid change and tells me since my car is a hybrid it needs a different kind of oil for the transmission. How does that make sense ? You use the same transmission fluid anywhere. Then he sends me to the receptionist and as I was having a conversation with her she answers a personal call on her cell phone. Very unprofessional. When I asked for a business card so I can contact the owner, she ran around looking for one and then said she didnt have one and hes not going to be here. I dont recommend this to anyone. Poor service and untrustworthy people is not a good combination. Use your money to people who deserve it elsewhere. There are plenty of other mechanic out there.

Really great find! Was looking for a place to get an oil change and got so much more. On a really hot day they offered a lemonade and not only changed the oil in the car but put on new windshield wipers and replaced a tail light as well. Really friendly people, great service and fair pricing.

Went in for an oil change and they tried to sell me new transmission fluid only based on the color of my current fluid. This is a common tactic at a lot of mechanic spots. They make you think yours is too dirty and needs to be changed out by showing you the brand new pink fluid compared to yours. Yet there are tons of articles online saying “The color of automatic transmission fluid, taken out of context, means very little... The color of the fluid alone is not an indication of the need for service.”They also sold me new brakes when I really didn’t need them. And I did pay for those. I just don’t trust them anymore, even though I came here for about a year and a half for the oil changes.Go to HANS AUTO down the road instead!! They’re amazing!!

They do a decent job. Be wary of their up sell tactics. They tend to push the ubiquitous your ATF fluid needs to be changed. Remember, just because your fluid is dark doesnt mean it needs to be changed. Do your research first! The weak will be preyed upon.

I started coming here a few years ago when I needed a quick and affordable oil change. Then my belts started making noise, and I decided to give these guys a try for repairs. Now, this is the only place Id dream of taking my car.Max and the crew were all extremely polite and professional. I took my car there, told him what was wrong, and he looked into it. I knew that there were multiple problems with my car, but Max didnt ever try to upsell me into things that werent essential to fixing the main problem.The service was quick, the price was affordable, and the employees are friendly and honest. I received complementary juice and Max even gave me some lunch that he ordered for him & his employees! I cant promise youll leave with food in your stomach, but you will leave with more money in your wallet than if you would have taken your car somewhere else.

Sorry but this shop used to be good but since coming back to the shop I had 3 different prices to change my transmission fluid and everytime I call it goes up when I first went 3 days ago for an oil change I was offered the price of the trans mission for around 149 plus tax making it around 157 estimated and calling back I had another guy offer who seem shady first tell me to go to another shop for it then when I told him I talked to someone else the day before he boost up the price and tried to place it as 179 plus taxes & stated prices went up. I told him the one who told me the first price told me that after he offered the pricing and I used to go there alot to do my oil change so the price already increased since then. This place is shady now with the price gauging and nothing set, I dont recommend unless doing a basic oil change and even jiffy lube is cheaper & better than them now.

Sloppy service. A new guy changed the oil in my car and put 0.6 quarts more than he should have. I would recommend this place only because its cheap but make sure they do the work right.
