In a simple oil change, Master Oil identified, diagnosed, and are currently fixing a problem that I had given up on (and was about to sell my car because of) after FIVE YEARS of auto shops telling me everything was fine; these people figured it out without me even asking. The prices are good, the people are very trustworthy and friendly, and the waiting room is clean and comfortable. I love that its family owned; also that they text you instead of playing phone tag. 10/10 highly recommend.

A great and speedy place to get your oil changed. They had a no contact process, which is great to see a business adapting to the times. Travis and his crew took great care of my car, and didnt try and charge me extra for an unneeded tire rotation. Pricing is good and everyone was very friendly.

Excellent and quick Service. It is a bit pricey (almost twice as expensive as other oil change Services), but you have to consider the proximity and location. All in all, Id recommend this location as the manager is on site and is very attentive. They also followed up to ensure that I was satisfied.

I went to get an oil change from my go to mechanic but he was super busy so he referred me here. It was a great experience! If my own mechanic was willing to lose business and send me here then you know that they’re good. Travis and his wife were very friendly and had me in and out. Would highly recommend to anyone! He told me about the work I would need to get done on my car in the near future, but was not pushy at all. Glad I found a trustworthy place that does good work.

I recently went to Master Oil and More to get my 1991 Jeep Wranglers oil changed and smog test. The oil change went great and the team there told me other things that needed updated with my car. They told me those things weren’t necessary and could wait, which I found to be really cool as other places sometimes try to up sale you. These guys were fast and professional. After the oil change I got my yearly smog test (originally my car failed and they referred me to someone to fix the issues). After getting some updates to my emissions my Jeep passed right away. I highly recommend using this place when getting your car serviced. They have coffee, cold drinks and a giant TV to keep you occupied while they service your car. It’s also located across the street from Target, which I was able to run in and purchase some things while I waited. All in all, I found this place to be professional and polite. 🙌🏼

Would highly recommend. Extremely friendly service from the entire team. They had me in and out for an oil change within half an hour - without an appointment! Plenty of cafes and stores nearby to browse as you wait. Should you choose to wait inside - the room is lovely and complimentary beverages are provided. I cant see myself going anywhere else.

Great service. They have always been accurate for how long my oil change will take. They take appointments and Travis has consistently followed up with me afterwards to make sure everything was satisfactory. They even contact me when it is time for my next oil change to schedule an appointment! I dont know anywhere else that does that!

I had an awesome experience at Master Oil and More on Santa Monica Blvd.While actually on my way to a Jiffy Lube for an oil change and some small stuff, I stepped in to check them out.First: Great customer service. After a quick check of the vital parts, we discussed and went through what was needed. All in a very transparant and open way. I was in and out of the door in 30 min and had a nice cup of coffee.Def going back and highly recommended. M

Called and got a last minute appointment first thing in the morning, I was in and out in less than 45 minutes! Travis was courteous and honest; other places try to sell you on services and things you don’t really need, but he was totally transparent about what work was necessary, what could wait, and he ran all of the pricing by me before doing the work so I knew the cost upfront. Would come back again!

It was that time again when the change oil maintenance light decided it was time to pester me again. It’s never fun but it’s a must to maintain my trusty car. We brought her over to see Travis and he took great car of us. The oil change went smooth and fast, didn’t waste any time and now I’m back on the road with the change oil light no where to be found. Oil change places aren’t normally very impressive, but Master Oil is! I was treated with kindness and respect from the moment I walked in by Travis. He looked up my VIN in his database to see which oil I would need - full synthetic. A tad pricey but he immediately told me there was a $10 discount via YELP. I was on it! I took a seat in the very clean and comfy waiting room, made myself a free cup of coffee (there are free canned drinks as well in a small fridge) and I had a seat. I played around on my phone, watched some football news on the nice big screen tv on the wall and before I knew it, my car was done. They checked and topped necessary fluids (windshield washer), changed the oil/filter, checked the tires (& added air as necessary). Air filter looked good he said. So no ups, no extras - just the original quoted price of $73.13. Not bad at all for full synthetic for my 2016 Honda Cr-V.I was texted the next day by Travis to see if everything was OK (whether it was automated or not, it’s a nice gesture). I would highly recommend this shop. And they do other automotive repairs as well as oil changes.

I went in for an oil change first thing in the morning on a weekday; there was no significant wait and the staff was incredibly pleasant. Big plus – they didn’t try to sell me on unnecessary services like a dealer or corporate place would have. They said I could use a new battery soon but didn’t press the issue – and they’re right; the ignition has been a bit slower. So when I need one, I’m certainly coming back. They’ve got a new customer, and I’m glad to have found somewhere like this on the west side.

They let you know about any potential issues, but theres no hard sell for add-ons. Simply nice people to work with, providing quality service. My wife and I stopped by Master Oil and More for an oil change on our BMW. We were attended to immediately and were in and out within 1 hour. We were even offered a discount and were given a tire rotation on the house! Much appreciated Master! Waiting room is nice with fast WiFi and TV. I tried Master Oil for the time recently. This place is fast, friendly, and BUDGET friendly, too. If I could give more stars, I would. Check this place out!

I have to reduct my initial review. I just got back from that place, they seem to have new workers there and i am absolutely dissatisfied. I asked them to see if they could check the oil for me. Im obsessive about taking care of my vehicle and since there is no dip stick they said they couldnt check it. They were very ride, especially the lady working there. (She mentioned something about it being 10k miles? I was like 10k miles for what? Do You know when I last came in? Like no, obviously, Ive never seen you before! And10k miles? I would never let it go for that long without an oil change. Outrageous! They were mumbling and seemed like they absolutely didnt want to do anything since its almost closing time. The guy with the california LA tattoo on his forearm couldnt even give me advice on how to check it.(he made it seem like it is impossible to check) Im going to find myself a new place because I will definitely not be going back. Ive been with them for about a year. Ridiculous! I took matters into my own hands and went to you tube.

I recommend Master Oil above all. I even paid extra to have my car towed to their shop passing many others along the way. They are welcoming, kind, and fair. I always have confidence when I leave my vehicle in their hands.

Very knowledgable staff and they changed my oil fairly quick. My skid plate was also missing a bolt and they went out of their way to find another one to replace it. Would definitely come back for another service!

Super friendly and super sweet. My oil engine light came on and they checked it for me and they were fast too and I was in and out in less than 10 mins. Manager even texted me a couple of days later and checked in which I thought it was super cool.
