This salon has a great vibe, a nice aesthetic and the best royalty thrones for any Queen. Gail is wonderful.

I called the Salons phone number three months around the beginning of April to set up an appointment. To my surprise no one answered the phone each time that I called. I left a voicemail message and here we are in July and I never received a returned phone call. Its a shame because someone referred me to this Nail Salon from another business and I hoped to have the great salon experience to remember but I will never know. Their IG page says they are taking appointments but they dont have a website where you can request an appointment either. The website thats listed on their Google page is on HugeDomains.com for sale. I am so confused and amused at the same time. Make it make it sense! 🤔

First time getting my nails done in LA and I look to yelp for where to go. Absolutely the worst, beside the lady who did my Pedi. I find them, called, and booked an appointment for 2 pm. I came in told them what I wanted, and thought we had an understanding, even showed pictures. She preps my nails for a Mani, and then proceeds to try and paint my nails, although the understanding was that I wanted stiletto tips when I first got there! The whole time they were rushing so they can leave out & close. All they had to do was say they couldnt do it & I couldve went somewhere else. The price went from $96 for a Mani/Pedi to $62 for a pedi with my cuticles clipped and clear protein polish. I would never come here again for to the customer service & switching up of services! I know the competition is doing waaayy better!

Took my wife here to get her mani pedi done since covid took place and this place was a absolute mistake. The women here, some are new, and the owner, are finnessers!!! The price changed from sitting down and there major misunderstandings of what she wanted all because the women there werent polite enough to say they couldnt take on they services we were looking for. Save yourself the headache. Maybe its just because of covid but they have to do better!! Cistomer service is a must!

Love love love this place! The service is excellent, and they have a million nail colors. The space is very comfortable and clean. I really enjoyed the flower petal water, and warm lotion foot rub that came with my pedicure. I got a gel main and regular pied. It was the best nail salon experience I have had since moving to the Summit Nail Bar.I will come here again, for sure!

GREAT PLACE! Ty did my nails and they are amazing. I got them done two weeks ago and they still look incredible. I havent been able to choose a regular place to go until now! Every other place I go, the over lay starts to come off and my nail gets stuck in my hair. So annoying. Not the case with this place!!! They are perfectly intact and look fantastic!!! Ten stars!!!

One of the staff did my nails and I loved them! There not over priced either! I loved my toe nails too because he let me walk and then continued doing them and usually when there done with your pedicure when you start walking they crease and be left them amazing!

Eden (my pedicure tech) and Patty (my gel manicure tech) were amazing!I would like to address a comment was made about this nail spa not being black owned and people claiming that its. Actually, its co-owned by feminine & masculine energies, by a Caucasian woman and an African Diaspora man.I look forward to making this nail salon my primary spot. OH!! MEN!!!! You can get your mani/pedi done on the masculine side and watch the game if you want to!!! Yay!

I visited this nail bar. Not only was I thrilled with the level of pampering, I appreciated that it is black owned. The attention to detail is remarkable, even down to the decorated towel dispenser in the bathroom. Cocktails were served while we received our services. The owner was present and VERY pleasant to talk to. There is a mens side so that their hands and feet can be tended to simultaneously.I would encourage all to experience the indulgent pampering of Summit Nail Bar !!!!!

I was a bit skeptic about the 4 stars they had on yelp, but the ladies are super nice! The shop is clean and they did a good job. Annie had these strong hands which is awesome if you love hearty massages. I really cant complain about this place.

We were in CA for the weekend a couple weeks ago and my wife found this place on Google. The place is really nice I think its fairly new or at least looked brand new. She got nails and toes done, and I decided to do something too, haha. Fun experience, maybe Ill try it again sometime. I paid $15.

I visited Summit Nail Bar 6 days ago. I have just moved back to Cali from Las Vegas, where these boutique style salons are the trend. After some intense research and even asking friends I decided to call. I made a same day appointment for a pedicure. Everyone was pleasant and the young lady Rachel who did my pedicure was very helpful with helping me find my polish color. I WILL BE BACK! I recommend this place its clean and pretty oh and you get complimentary beverages with your service!

I come here every time I want to feel like a queen. From the decor and throne-like chairs, to the complimentary drink, this place takes pampering to a whole other level! And Kim is the absolute best! No matter what shape my nails are in she always brings them back to 100%! And shes the sweetest human being youll ever talk to. Definitely come check this place out if you havent already!

EXCELLENT. Ive had pedicures and acrylic done here. Both done professionally Well. Very attentive and professional staff. Everyone speaks FLUENT English so you can say/ask what you want and they get it right the first time. You can actually engage in conversation with technician. Excellent selection of of nail products.

I got a gel Mani and the nail tech was very rough. She left my cuticles red and sore. She was very rough when she was filing and cutting my cuticles! They were still red the next day! Ive been here before for a Mani-pedi and it was fine but it was with a different person. I am hesitant to go back again.

The staff are friendly and polite. The salon Management still struggles with organization and consistency in how customers are handled and you can never determine who is the manager. The person handling calls and making appointments is impatient and can be rude. They frequently text incorrect appointment times

This place did an awesome job. I got the gel manicure and pedicure. With glitter on my ring fingers. Lasted forever. Good quality nail polish. Also free drink and water in with my manicure. I love the atmosphere and will be back.

Where do i begin so i came here thinking i finally found a decent nail shop because my issue was that every nail shop i had been to my nails do not last a week before they are falling apart i dont do heavy duty work either I work behind a desk so anyway I went to get a gel pedicure and a full set gel with chrome and i payed 130$ needless to say I was not pleased nor was it worth a penny of my money (nor the tip)I got my nails done on a Friday by one of the male nail techs cannot remember his name he was rough and I didnt like how he rushed through it.... but still i gave them the benefit of the doubt 1 week after I got that done one of my nails came off i immediately went back to the shop to get it fixed after they were done they had nerve to charge me I explained that I had only been there 1 week ago and that I refuse to pay for anything after I was charged that 130$ i shouldnt even be coming in to replace, so they let me go... 2 days later another nail breaks bottom line I will not be going back!

I FELT THAT WAS UNACCEPTABLE AND HE DID AN ALRIGHT JOB!I WAS QUOTED ONE PRICE OVER THEPHONE FOR MY DESIGN! I WAS CHARGED$10.00 FOR A DESIGN ONLY FOR BOTH OFMY BIG TOES. ALSO THE ATMOSPHEREWAS NOT GOOD IN THIS NAIL SHOPI FEEL THEY ARE GREEDY AND THEY ARE OVER CHARGING PEOPLE! I WILL NEVER RETURN BACK TO SUMMIT NAIL BAR! Pretty place with terrible service! Was there for 3 hours just to get my fill done. Didn’t get expected result for which I was triple overcharged! Two days later few of my nails broke, due to overdrilling. The atmosphere is very negative. Workers are not friendly. The owner is very greedy and defensive. Would never recommend to anyone!!!! You deserve much better!

I was looking forward to trying this Salon. 3 hours and $90 later, I left almost in tears, no nail art on my hands or feet, a crooked index nail, the nails on my right hand a different length from the nails on my left, the nails on my right hand shaped differently from the nails on my left and I was 8 min late to my USC class. Michael who did my pedicure was the best part of my experience. So disappointing - I wont be returning.

I just left Summit Nails my appointment was at 1pm for a manicure and pedicure. Let me say when I sat down the owner ask if I wanted something to drink? Leilani who did my manicure ask if I wanted something to drink? And Kim who did pedicure ask me if I wanted something to drink? I respectfully declined. And let me said that LeiLani and Kim did an excellent job!!!

The atmosphere and the people there were great but the work was unacceptable... I went in to get my eyebrow arched, manicure and pedicure. I left with one of my eyebrows chopped off my manicure look like I never had one and the pedicure was ok and my total cost was $47.I believe that if they retrain the employees and stop doing a rush job (because they over book) it would be a really nice place...

One of the worse experiences Ive had. I received a Mani Pedi. The older lady who did my Pedi put no effort into the massage. She didnt massage at all, she was looking outside the whole time. She also did not put full attention into applying the polish. I had to ask the lady who did my Mani to fix a spill over onto my toe.

I had an uh-mazing first experience on 3/18/2017. The establishment was clean, beau-tee-full, and inviting. The work ethic was awesome and I loved the atmosphere. The pricing was steep (used to whole in the wall pricing with subpar servicing) but I felt the services were worth the prices. Awesome customer service.

I really loved the setup they had but I was very unhappy with the way my nails were shaped. This place is too expensive to not have perfectly shaped nails the only thing thats upsetting is I definitely did not have time to go back to have them fix the. Love the place but may have to try it again and have someone else do my nails.

Dear Summit Nail Bar,It probably wont matter but I just had to make you aware. I have been to your business a few times before. I usually would come on a Thursday right after work which was perfect. It was perfect because its not such a busy day, its usually me & maybe 2 other patrons receiving service. But on this past Tuesday my mom, sister (their 1st time) & I decided we would patronize your business. My sister arrived 1st, so by the time my mom and I arrived, she was already receiving service. She was considering getting a full set of acrylic nails & pedicure but ended up just getting a pedicure. To our surprise when my sister was told her PEDICURE was $30. She paid it but told me later there was nothing special making it worth $30. She was told she could come back tomorrow for the acrylic set for $50 she declined. But the real reason I wrote this awareness note is because of the customer service I received. I had a nail tech Nicole, who was supposed to do my mani/pedi. Nicole started with my feet but was told when she finished my feet, her client was there waiting service. I dont believe this was really her client, but okay. The client was a Caucasian Lady with gel polish on her nails & feet already, coming to get them redone. Nail tech, Jazz was told when she finished working on her patrons pedicure to come and do my manicure. Now even though Jazz was nice she was fairly new and not so quick. Why Nicole could not finish both services with me and have Jazz work on the Caucasian Lady...I don’t know. Yes I do, she wanted the Caucasian Lady to have the more experienced, quicker person and she could just do whatever with me. While I was there this Caucasian Lady had (3) people working on her at one time...and not just 1 time. One of them being the reception/owner of the business. I would normally be there about an hour for both services. I was there over 2hrs. My poor mom had to wait all that time and she only received the 1 service. Was it a racial, status issue...Id say yes, and if not just bad customer service,but it is a matter of interpretation. I will no longer be patronizing your establishment anymore.

Again this shop is Not black owned!!! I walk in just to get one nail fixed, Im told to have a seat someone will be with me...20 minutes later a white lady walks out (the owner) and says have you been helped, no I havent well have you signed in no I havent and was never told to so she takes my name and the time which is 20 minutes later than the real time I had actually gotten there. As Im still waiting I notice a couple of girls who have been sitting here the whole time Ive been here with their feet in water Not being serviced...just sitting! 2 other ladies walk in with appointments and they are also now JUSTSITTING!!. Im just noticing the environment the girls seem friendly but that owner has not acknowledge me since and its been over an hour now! Im walking out as I press send!

First the receptionist was in back when arrive. Let me say what upset me the most my technician FILED MY NAIL calling it a shaping and charged me $10. Who charges for this isn’t it a part of the fill process.For a business which caters to various demographics of clients I found the choice of music in poor taste explicit sexual language, and repetitive use of profanity.I made appointment and waited over an hour to be serviced then my technician gets on the phone to complain how she is being doubled booked, hungry, sleepy (don’t want the pizza in the back) and ready to go home.She could not focus on my service as she was constantanly watching the other girls in the shop and asking for a picture to be taken.I will not come back here the service was substandard

Walked into this place for a pedicure at 11:45 and it was completely empty but was told I had to wait until 12:30. I understand there might be people who have appointments but there was nobody being serviced.

Well its 1:40 and our appointments were at 11:00. 2 Mani Pedis and 1 pedi. Service didnt begin until 11:30. No techs here for 11:00 am appointments. 1 tech ended up doing 2 pedicured. Complimentary drinks? Please know that means 1. Unfortunately the owners only had poor excuses for bad management. Good idea. Too bad the experience was horrible. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Im going to keep this short but Sweet. This is the truth about my experience.I set my appointment over the phone. The receptionist was very nice and professional. I was looking forward to a great experience.I arrived 15 minutes early. My appointment time came and went. No one told me anything. I overheard the receptionist talking about another customers tardiness. I heard her telling the other recepionist that person that was supposed to do my nails was on lunch. The person that I booked the appointment with was doing the late customers nail. When my nail tech finally came they were trying to get her to do the late customers feet. I had to remind them I had an appointment and I was on time.Okay, Im was being very patient.My nail techs were wonderful. They are passionate and take pride in their work. Also their product knowledge is wonderful. They gave me great advice as well. Monique and Anna did a great job.While I was getting my nails done, they tried to pull my manicurist to do somebodys else nail. I was getting ready to walk out if she had left in the middle of my service. She refused to leave. She didnt rush me service either. I got the royal treatment.The nail techs get 5 stars. They give excellent service.I told the owner my concerns and he was clueless. He did nothing to rectify the situation. He has no control of his workers. The receptionist are family members. I overheard them talking. Too much drama and miscommunication at this shop.I would love to go back but I value customer service and a business that respect my time.You can clearly see how the business is ran, look at the business comment. No matter how long ago I was there, I still remember how I was treated. My review is an honest one.

I went to get a pedicure and left around 4:15pm. Around 6:30pm my polish was messed up. I immediately called the nail bar (6:33pm), spoke with the white owner, she told me the nail tech will fix it for me tomorrow since they were closing. I go in the next day and she said it looks like something was on top of them. Its 90 degrees in July Im dont wear tennis shoes. I told her the nail polish must be old and she proceeded to tell me my polish are not old I go through them every month, theres no way their old and Ive never had problems with this nail polish. I said ooookay she said but well have her fix them. she was rude to her employee when telling her to use a white base and that the nail polish streaks so that is why that happened and telling her she made that mistake of not doing so in the first place. (remember originally she said she never had problems with that nail polish right? right.) The nail tech, being respectful, said okay. Half way through the nail tech putting on the white base, the white owner came up to the side of my chair, speaking to the nail tech, If you ever need some advice just let me know. The nail tech did not need the advice, the white owner needs some advice: do not go back and forth with a customer, do not speak to your employees like that and do not speak to your employees like that while in front of customers. But since the white owner is being bent over by a black man, she feels like she can speak to us however she wants. No.
