Pedicure was great, but a bit too pricey for a regular pedicure($50). Excellent friendly service! Clean and welcoming . Full set nails looked great but were press on nails not worth the price ($85). I would return if only for the great service !

Its a cool shop for last minute appointments, they take walk-ins regularly. My last visit May 14 resulted in a pedicure that was ruined after an hour & 2 gel x nails that came off within 2 days. I havent bothered to go back to have them replaced 😕. Also. They charge like $5 for 1 line of nail art calling it a design. You can have better nail art for so much cheaper at better shops around LA. They charge too much & they not that good.

Honestly, if you have money to just throw away and dont care of how much you pay, then this is your place. Youll pay well over $100+ for nails that arent even pretty. They left my nails so bubbly and they were chipping off within a week, I only came here because I was in the area and it looked really cute, but I was wrong. They tell you one price and once youre done they give you another. Definitely like to up their prices for no reason. /:

Told me 80 for my long gel then to pay and said 150. I hope no one else gets ripped off like I did. Save your money for a salon that doesnt get over on their clients

Loved how they left my nails. My entire nail had nail polish not like other places where it looks like its been a week already. Even smooth and so pretty. It also helps that they are super friendly and took my appointment 15 min before they closed. Very recommended.

This place was the only location i was able to find that would take walk ins. The locations Is beautiful and clean in the Inside. The staff ( ladies) /are super friendly and welcoming. So my issues were:1. They don’t have their prices posted any where un Inside. 2. They charge 5 dollar per design. 3. The gel didn’t last but 2 days. I understand that it’s my responsibility to ask for the price before hand but I was in a rush and needed the service. Second when I sat done I was instantly pitched a gel X kinda gel which I decline. The lady didn’t push which was nice. When I told the lady what I wanted she told me it was 40 for gel manicure I said ok bc I was already seated and she has already clipped my nails then I asked her about a design I wanted and she said it be 30 dollars extra! It was just happy faces 🧐 so I said ok. Moral of the story is I paid 70 for a gel and it lasted two days so just avoid this place ✌🏻

First time here and their service was amazing! Esther was my nail artist and she was so sweet, kind, and professional! We arrived a little late for our 8pm appointment (8:10ish) and they still serviced us until around 9:30-10pm! Truly kind souls 😍 I love how my nails turned out as well 😊 Just in time for Christmas!

This place is awesome! I came in as a walk in on a Sunday afternoon and they took me right in. I’m pretty plain and simple when it comes to what I want from my manicures and pedicures but I’m a total perfectionist. Both my technicians, Esther and Sally, were so detail-oriented, clean, and efficient. Not to mention they were very sweet. I’m glad I live within walking distance because they will definitely be my go-to place.

Great customer service but waaay over priced for the worse set of acrylic nails I’ve had in my life. Also the nail tech cut 2 of my fingers while using the electric nail file.All my nails poped off easy 1week after me getting them done here.They charged me $100.00 for a bad set with no design.

I only get my nails done about 3-4 times a year for special occasions. I don’t like spending too much time at any salon, so I like how fast & neat they are. Only 30 minutes for a regular meni&pedi (two women worked on my hands & feet). It’s the only nail salon I go to in LA, so I don’t know if they’re considered pricey—so far I find it fairly priced.

Good mani pedi but let me list what happened with my eyelashes.1. They itch.2. They are attached to my eyelid. Like right on it.3. I paid and they dont look it or feel it.4. I dont know what to do.5. The application was painful. It just burned. I tried to leave but the tech was very sweet.Update: I just lost 7 pashes and my eyelid is itchy.

They increased the prices after Covid-19. It was already pricey. After paying $100 for my hands and feet to get done, two nails were broken two days after...They even charge you to shape your nails! It’s just crazy and price is definitely to high for something that is not worth it.

I came in to the salon with some really messed up nails and the lady was super nice and understanding!! Not only did she fix my nails but also saved me some money!! I had a plan to remove the nails and get acrylics done but she instead just saved the nails I had on and they turned out really nice!! She was s little late but I don’t mind too much for that kind of stuff.

Came for the first time couple weeks ago for a gel manicure and pedicure and I was very impressed. I will definitely be returning again!! Thanks!!!!

As always a bit pricey, but I was in a rush they got me in and out in 25min. I got a gel removal and a Polish with a nail mender. It was great my needs were met!

Ive been getting my nails done here for about 6 months now. Ive had serious issues finding a nail place in Los Angeles that can actually do a quality set of acrylics which last 2+ weeks. Ive been coming back to Sugar Nails because I found Erin who is amazing at giving you the shape you want and is great at nail art. She also gave me her personal number for any time I have issues with my nails which was great.Im giving them 3 stars because Ive never had a set of nails last me until I needed a fill. I usually make sure to get one every 2 weeks, but I usually start to see lifting or Ill lose a nail within 1 week of my appointment. They also charge me $5.00 every single time I need to come in and get my nails fixed, even if I had come in a couple days prior to have them done. From my own experiences, usually if you get a set of nails done and they break within a reasonable amount of time, the salon should fix it free of cost. Ive had about 2 full sets of nails and 4 fills done at sugar nails and none have lasted more than 1 week with out breakage or lifting. They have never repaired my nails with out charging me, even if I come in 2-3 days after my appointment. I dont work a hands on job where Im causing breakage myself by being too rough on my nails. I work from home at a computer most days so theres no reason my nails shouldnt be lasting me.

Horrible service these ladies need training, they don’t know how to shape acrylics and I’m not sure why they offer it as a service. They tried bullying me out of 80 for soak off and regular polish full set. We settled for 70 witch is still too much for what I received. Beautiful shop great location but very bad nail techs.

I got my nails done had them on for 2 days they bend, color didnt stay too long, nail polish is chunky, theyre very expensive on adding letter. 3$ for a single letter .. too much. do not recommend 🤦🏻‍♀️. Scam.

Ive gone to this place for about 4-5 times to get a pedicure and manicure and so far its good. I recommend them they are friendly and do a good job. I love how my feet feel and look after getting a pedicure. They paint my nails very well too. I love this place

First off - I love my nails. I got coffin-shaped red acrylic nails on my hands and my toes. However, they took 2.5 hours. Its a good place, but dont come here if you have a schedule to upkeep. They also hurt me several times and filed the sides of my fingers. After a few times I politely said to do it more gently but they dont listen. It is also pricy but I can get behind it if they were a little more efficient and careful. I was also given comments and looks and scoffs at my natural nails. While being a nail care professional its important to talk about tips on how to make my nails healthier. But discerning looks at my nails made me feel uncomfortable and it was extremely unprofessional.

It was great the first time but the second time they were a bit rude & made my toe bleed. I feel like since the owner wasnt there the employees decided to act up b.c the first time was great. Not going back there again.

Nice staff. Visited to get a pedi, havent had one Im years.... But I got a fungal infection after visiting here. Never had an issue before my visit. My friend visited me in LA 2 days after I visited this location, I advised her to come here because my own infection hadnt taken hold yet, She went here, and also got a fungal issue on her feet. Seems too connected to be a coincidence, I havent been anywhere public with my shoes off, and havent visited another nail salon in over a decade. I wouldnt recommend. The staff was nice tho.

THE WORST SNS/DIP Powder MANICURE EVER. They do not have all the tools to complete a dip powder manicure despite advertising for it. When they get to the end, instead of giving you the final dip for the clear top coat, they insist on upcharging you $5 to get a gel polish that just ends up flaking off. I also got fake tips with the dip powder, which I have done at least 30 times in the past and I have never had a nail break and I usually dont replace them for 3 weeks minimum, usually 4. All of my nails broke off within a week and a half and it was PAINFUL. I hate this salon and I will never go back, they engage in false advertising and swindled me out of EXTRA money on what was already a very expensive manicure that wasnt even what I had originally called and made an appointment for.

Its overpriced for the quality work. Maybe the technician who did my acrylic nails is new to it, but my nails were not matching with each other. It bothered me everytime I looked at it. Also when she painted my nails, the color was too light, and said she cant go over it and it looks good like that. I didnt agree but I dont like to start a commotion. Maybe I should try with another technician. The nail salon is very well organized and neatly. The interior work is beautiful.

I went to the salon at 7pm, on December 23rd! The hostess was very kind and managed to accommodate me. I had Mani & Pedi for $35. 2 nice ladies took care of me and we had a good laugh together.

They are great at doing nails however customer service sucks and they rush you and pressure you to hurry up and pick a color or design. The way they price everything almost doesnt make sense however it does add up. Im from ga and use this place when Im in LA. I will go back only knowing exactly what I want not to deal with the pressure

Don’t go here. Overpriced and work quality is lacking. I’ve gone here twice (when my nail tech from another salon is fully booked) and it has just been a waste of money. 1)Even if you make an appointment, the work is rushed. 2)No help whatsoever getting exact color(s) that you want. 3)Scoffs, looks, and mumbling under breath if you ask for anything to be fixed or changed. 4)Zero customer service altogether.You’re better off going to a small salon. Don’t waste your time or money here.

HORRIBLE! DO NOT COME HERE!I almost came out of here crying.I had my graduation the next day so I made an appointment for Friday at 8:30pm and they said they couldnt because they need ONE hour to do a simple acrylic set. Then they ask if I can go in at 8:15pm instead so i agreed. I arrived at 8:05pm and had to wait till 8:40pm! Finally when the lady was doing my nails and she was filing them sideways and had to tell her to stop because they were starting to look horrible. I ended up out of that salon at 10:35pm! I saw all the workers leave while i was still stuck there! To make matters worse it has only been 4 days and they all fell off already!. Wost 80 dollars of my life spent for a horrible job. Do not come here save your money and take it somewhere else. Doesnt even deserve one star!

Worst experience ever. Went for a full set and it’s pricey for a poor job. Was in there for more than two hours because they lady didn’t know what she was doing. (Debora). My nails had never been so bumpy !!!! & uneven. I went two days later to tell them and they wanted to sit me down with the same person like why would I ever do that when she messed up the first time. & now today they fell. This is all less than 5 days. It’s insane I’m so upset. They are never seeing my or my money again.

My friend went there and the woman talked bad abt her in front of her and didint even clean the sides of her gel nail. Didnt do her choice of nail bc they said it was disgusting and chose an even worse color for her. paid 50$ for a terrible experience. 🙄 (her name was lia)

Good customer service but the quality of the nails are no good! i’ve gone to some nail salons who dont even charge half of what i paid here and the quality is wayy better! when i left the salon my nails looked fine, but like a day or two later they look disastrous! i am very disappointed on how my nails look right now! i can honestly say that i wont be coming back here

Bad service

I made an appointment (for today 12/7/18) for a classic manicure ($20) and an eyebrow wax ($12). They started the manicure first. The nail tech had to keep looking at the brochure to make sure she was giving me the correct service. Then she asked me to choose a color, so I choose a color from the color wheels in the box next to me. She DIDNT tell me that I chose a gel color that would be $15 more. Also, when this tech did my cuticles she actually injured three of my fingers with the tweezers: they were bleeding!After she finished my manicure, I was supposed to get an eyebrow wax but when I mentioned it to her she looked confused or she pretended she didnt know what I was talking about. By this time they had a few walk-ins waiting, so I said, nevermind, and decided to pay for the classic mani and leave. Thats when I found out that they gave me a more expensive gel manicure and they didnt even add it correctly: it was $35 and they were charging me $40, so I gave them $40 and left.Dont get me wrong, the manicure looks great (for now), but the customer service is awful and very dishonest.

They misquoted me a price after I already had swiped my card. I thought my card was swiped a second time for the difference. Upon my return in front of other customers they accused me of not paying on purpose. I kindly paid the difference and left. Extremely rude and unfriendly in how they handle an error in their communication, after being a loyal customer for almost a year!

If I could give zero stars I would!! I was the bride to be at a mani pedi bridal shower for 5 ladies at 10 am and we were there for 3 hours as they took other customers before finishing our nails! No even offered water! Quoted 60 dollars before starting our nails and then charged 100 each and harassed for not leaving a bigger tip than 10 dollars! Just left a tip because of human decency! But they didnt deserve it at all!!!

Liked how close it was to my place but its way overpriced for mediocre work. I tend to be a little OCD and hope for my nails to be as symmetrical as possible or at least would like to see them try. I ended up spending about $80 for a fill. They asked if I wanted some kind of extra gel thing without telling me the ridiculous price of it and charged me $10 for a small flower on 2 fingers. The nails came out different lengths and were bumpy. The lady that did my nails also barely smiled and wasnt very friendly. It was just an awkward experience.

First time I came here they tore off most of my skin around my nails and made the polish way too thick, the second time (I only came back because I live a 3 minute walk away) they needed more than an hour to do an acrylic fill in. Told me they didn’t have enough time !! The person who picks up the phone can’t even speak intermediate English so good luck getting information from them !!

This salon completely destroyed my nails by soaking and filing down my nails to the skin... Its 3 weeks later and theyre still appalling. After having healthy naails for years, im now embaraassed to show them . They not only destoyed my beautiful nails but stuck some patchwork on to try and hide their terrible work. I am still unable to get this off without losing my nails totally. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!

Honestly the place is nice but the service is suck I got my nails done and I asked for a regular full setAnd pedicure they give me one price and charge me other price how they went from 60 to 150 if they didn’t make my nail how I want them plus my nail started folding down twe days later

Today I visited here with my mother..and I really disappointed their services. First, my mother asked to do some design with color point and some cubicles. At that time, they said ok, and bring all colors which they need..however, the result was awful because they changed all design [ green to nude] and put only 2 cubicles on each hand. I asked why they do like this, they said my mothers wedding day cloth will not good with special nail design!! OMG!!! Who decided that!! Anyhow, my mom requested change or fix her nail design...because it was tooooooo classic and basic...but she rejected and ignored my opinion!!! Therefore, I will never go again that place!!! Thank you for giving me goooooooood experience!Anyhow, finally my mom visited the other store, and they do owesome designed nail!! Even though we paid only 50dollar!! This store charged 40 for nude color polish with 2 cubicles on each side!!! Damn!!Please rethink before go this store..they will make you upset after design!

Sloppy work. Overpriced. They dont have the uv lights to dry your nails which means my nail polish thats supposed to dry hard (shellac) that I pay extra for took an extremely long time to dry and got messed up before I made it home. Never going here again.

Excellent customer service

Gel manicure substitute for aryclic was overpriced and started lifting after one week. They of course replaced it no charge. But one by one each finger is peeling. I don’t suggest this place unless you just want your real nails painted.

Location that is convenient for movement immediately from Wilshire Station. The price is reasonable. I took off gel nails this time. The lady at the reception didnt know the details of the service and didnt know the price. Work is quick but rough. The gel nail was not completely dropped. I wiped it off with a steaming towel and didnt apply any oil or cream, so I went home with my fingers covered with scratches and turned white. After I got home, I had to drop my nails and care for my nails.

They are very friendly and I liked the work they did for me.
