My hair is naturally curly and holds curls great, however the curls I had done fell out almost instantly because of the technique used (it was straightened and then curled for some reason) - I would recommend to the stylist to change this technique as it makes the hair straight not curly (and actually impossible for me to curl back at home too without wetting it).Also was charged much more than prompted on the website so recommend calling and confirming a price before going in.

I went in for questions and they were incredibly unhelpful. I was looking for information on one of the nail techs, because I needed a specific nail design. And this nail tech wasn’t answering her phone for weeks, so I went in to ask in person and they just told me they couldn’t do anything about her not answering. There was no one for nails, and they basically told me to go somewhere else because they couldn’t help me at all.

The website, the call when I made an appointment and the wall have Mens Haircut $25, after the service they said it was $35. I didnt even take them up on washing my hair. Yep, yall got me on a day I didnt feel like arguing. You also got a bad review. The good reviews had me fooled.

Ive been having my hair done at Magnific Hair and Nail Salon for almost two years now and the girls here are all amazing. Special love for Nicole this time though. I came in the day before my wedding with a home dye job that I needed stripping from my hair. Two hours later I walked out feeling great with the exact color that I wanted and it was gorgeous. She did such an awesome job! Thanks Nicole!

Thank goodness the Magnific Hair and Nail Salon on 3rd accepts walk-ins... Because I found the perfect gem! I needed a hair cut desperately and have always walked by the Magnific Hair and Nail Salon and decided to go there yesterday. Everyone in the salon was so friendly and kindly sat me down immediately. Thelma did such a wonderful job on my hair cut and paid extra attention to details. I felt like I was hanging out with friends while getting my hair did! I highly recommend Adam for the perfect cut. And the owner was so nice too!

I really really love this salon! After reading all of the wonderful reviews of Adam and having a friend also recommend her I knew it would be a good experience! I was luckily able to get a last min appointment on a Friday. Adam evened out my butchered layers and length from a horrible cut I received about a week ago at a different salon. I immediately felt comfortable sitting down in her chair as she went over exactly what she was going to do. I highly recommend her! Wonderful overall experience and a great, funky salon!

Jess did an amazing job transforming my hair! She took me shorter and lightened me up while working with my existing color. I couldnt be happier and Ill definitely be back! All the girls were friendly and the shop has great light so I could see how great my new color was right away! My new style has gotten compliments left and right! Definitely recommend Jessica for future bookings!

Nicole Adams helped me transform a grown out bleached ombré do, into a beautiful, icy, unicorn-like update!Her no nonsense approach was helpful and informative-I highly recommend Nicole if you want to update your look! Adam IS AMAZING. I scheduled an appointment based on all the 4 star reviews. She was extremely friendly and listened to all my concerns answered all my questions. Ive always been hesitant to get my hair cut as past experiences have never been great but Adam has completely changed my mind! She never made me feel rushed or pressured to get anything I wasnt comfortable with. I had such a great experience that I scheduled a mini highlight in 2 weeks. Shes very highly requested so make your appointment with her 2 weeks in advance!

I went to Rubio and Raven for the first time to start the process of lightening my hair. Akela was wonderful. I have a lot of hair. It always takes a long time, but she was wonderful and patient. She explained the process and was focused on my hair begin healthy. I cannot wait to go back for round two.

I am not usually one to write reviews and typically dont like getting my hair done, however, this salon has me excited to come back again. The level of care that was put into my hair, and making sure that I left happy with it, was/is amazing! I dont live in Hollywood, but will definitely come back here to get my hair cut.

I have been going to Nicole for a year and a half and I am a huge fan! I went to several salons looking for a new stylist and when I walked into Magnific on Third and felt her vibe I knew she was the one for me and then she had a cancelation while I was there checking out the salon which I took as a sign we were fated to meet :) She took my hair from a dingy red/black to platinum blonde. Not only did she manage to get the color the way I wanted it when I thought it was impossible task she also got it to feel healthier and shinier than it was BEFORE we bleached it. Shes an amazing stylist, colorist and conversationalist which is important for the amount of time we spend together. I couldnt be happier with my locks these days and although I dont want the entire world to know about her for fear of not getting an appointment for myself I also want anyone looking for a new stylist to know what a gem she is.

My hair has been processed to many times and it was so bad and damaged. But Ernesto was so nice and friendly he told me he was going to save my hair he ✂ it for now and colored it the way I like it. PlatinumBlond Thank you so much I will definitely go again Gracias Ernesto 💕😘😍

Great haircut and pricing!

Do not let Barbie cut your hair.Her technique is questionable, if she was professionally trained at all. I had to stop her as she proceeded to blunt cut my hair straight across at the sides. She left nothing to work with and I had to chop all my hair off to make it look normal (I left to go elsewhere to fix what she did, but the damage was already done). The manager did ask if HE could try to fix it, but I didnt trust them anymore. I offered to give her a little cash for the wash and her time. She demanded I pay in full, but the manager said no, I did not have to. She exclaimed oh, you just like to complain. I dont want anything from you!Damn straight I complain when you Butcher my hair and have no right to be working at a salon!

The owner is very nice and professional.Would recommend!

I WAS BURNED THERE BY THE CURLING IRON AND MY EXPENSIVE HAIR WAS CUT TOO SHORT; I STILL TIPPED THEM AND FULLY PAID FOR SERVICES. WHEN I REPORTED WHAT HAPPENED TO THE OWNER, HE CALLED ME A MONKEY, REFUSED ALL REFUNDS AND CLOWNED ME IN THE SHOP SOMEHOW BLAMING ME. HE WAS VERY VERY DISRESPECTFUL!
