So I been out for about 1 years and 8 months and since then it’s been really hard looking for work or even keeping work. I hear a lot of good things about this program but to be honest don’t really know much so hopefully someone can guide or direct me to the right person. Thank youJustin P.

In the four and a half months Ive been working for this company, I was under impression that this was a good company a helpful company. But coming to find out is not they run this company like its a slave ship supervisors do not lead by example Grace runs it as a dictatorship the main office itself dont care they use you up and falsely throw you away because I have a mind of my own and I speak up for my rights just because I work for this company does not mean I dont have rights I got rights 30 years of Rights not 30 years in prison

I always say that, returning to society from incarceration is like a space shuttle returning to earth, it has to be built for it, or itll explode. Chrysalis - Los Angeles helps build you on how to successfully return to society. Salute!

Chrysalis is a pretty noble company by ambition standards. There are some short comings that are fixable with a little elbow grease

I was referred to this agency by my probation officer and my halfway house. Great resource. I have a job now.

Dont mention any health problems and you will have work.....if you do happen to slip up and mention any health issues, they wont help you without going through more steps to get any work at all.butOnly after 3 weeks of not generating any income.Good luck keeping a roof over your head after 3 weeks of no income.

Chrysalis does more for those in need of employment than any agency Ive ever heard of, known or dealt with. My very first job opportunity came from Chrysalis. My first real work experience came from Chrysalis; I dont think I would know what I know about being a MATURE & RESPONSIBLE EMPLOYEE had I not worked for Chrysalis. Therefore, I express my APPRECIATION!

Back in the 1990s, I came through there and they help me with employment. They get variance contracts with different companies for temporary jobs. And I regained the confidence to work full time again through Chrysalis. And for that I thank you.

The lady who makes the schedules continue to keep cutting my hours and I have only less than 10 shifts. At this point I havent got in contact with these people in a week and a half to have a meeting to get back on schedule. So now I cant afford to take care of my family or myself. A real genuine non Profit organization is for the people not for the money. Some non profits just care about is a certain image. Instead of taking care of the people off of the government grants theyre being granted with. For having clients coming in.

I worked there for a year, good place to work.

They help you in everything, if you just got out of prison or jail. This place is for us people. They believe in second chances. Its a lil process but guaranteed theyll have a job for you. So no excuses!!!!!!

Chrysalis is the best work program I been to they dont look down on you they help you find a job and with all kinds of resources info that you need to get back on your feet and support groups so you realize you are not the only one struggling n that helps your confidence.I love and most definitely recommend Chrysalis❤

A wonderful transformative and extremely helpful organization filled with compassion and aid. I reccommend this nonprofit to every person for any reason. Weather you own a small business or are starting your own nonprofit or simply wish to attain a job, gain housing, and get out of the cycle of homelessness...Chrysalis is a valuable asset to you in acheiving and succeeding in each of those endeavors. From a vagabond to VP this place has for you an excellent nugget of worth which it will gain you when you step through their doors. Mutually beneficial to all for all by all with all!

Okay so I been to other unemployment centers that are hoping you quit your job and work for them so they can get funding.. (I believe)......but this place is very different. ..I hear the funding is through Hollywood stars and there is quite a difference. I went there for one week and completed the first week.after that I started a sales job and was just waiting for its to be something I failed at.i didnt though and yet chrysalis called me months later just to see if I was okay and if I would be returning. I said I would and the lady said it would be nice to eee you again with a caring and loving heart.it was almost like I was her son and she was proud of me.anyways,I knew they cared that much so I was assuring her that I wanted to eventually go back and do whatever else I could to complete my 2nd week!.... (they give you a booklet with different scenarios and sample resumes, also, on the back of the booklet theres dates without stamps which need to be completed )*also had a friend on skid row,Went to chrysalis, got a 17 $ hour job and benefits within 60 days.

When I did work for chrysalis I learned a lot and most of all Sabu my supervisor was extremely a positive person to work under. Thank you for everything.

Very bad service at this place. They dont pay you on time they sent my check to the wrong address. I would never recommend this place to a friend or co worker. This place needs to be shut down

Do not ever come here to look for employment I got injured on the job and they dont want to pay me my workers compensation h.r said that they had workers compensation so why cant I get paid

It wasnt for me. Drove about 2 hours to get there and wasted my time. They only help with minimum wage jobs and even those you dont get them until you take some classes. I need a job today and in a few weeks. Just wasnt for me

Kinda feels like they need a new plan on how things are done... It takes way to long just to see someone... While you have an appointment they are out getting breakfast and drinks from Starbucks
