The problems were diagnosed quickly and when estimates were given, the final cost was at the low end of the cost range that was quoted and very competitive with the other shops out there for the same service. This place is in a perfect location, just off of barrington and santa Monica blvd, easy to get to and there is parking on the side streets. The staff are very friendly and super helpful. After I dropped my broken PC off, someone called me describing the issue within a day, (hard drive and operating software issue) and they took care of it within the week as I needed the computer back for work. Reasonably priced, exceptional service and good quality work. I Will definitely bring anything I need fixed back here again as they made it so simple and easy for me.

Update: Reducing stars after last service. I needed a battery replacement for a Macbook, so after a couple weeks waiting for their order, I dropped off the Macbook. It was returned to me with a loose battery inside that would slosh around. I asked for this to be fixed, which they said theyd do free of charge with a new battery. It was also smudged/dirty/greasy when returned.Once the battery replacement arrived, I was emailed/called incessantly to come back by. I dropped it off, and they said theyd notify me as soon as it was ready (because they knew I was standing by), so I waited nearby. After not hearing from them from longer than the expected time, I went inside, and it was ready to go. They didnt notify me, so I was just waiting wasting time.Anyway, I left with the Macbook, and as soon as I got home, opened it up, and there was a new sound of something moving around inside! But it only happened if the laptop was open, so it was a mistake not checking at the store. I told them I was disappointed with the service and sent them a video of the issue immediately, and they responded that theyd be willing to fix it for free.They also assured me I could get a receipt for the battery installed, so I could verify the battery Im purchasing. But they did not provide this at the end as promised and said it was against their policy because I could go directly to their source to get it myself? What.First review:These guys are great. Helped me assess my issue. Ended up being a rare laptop hinge issue. Worked quickly. Fair pricing. Quality replacement part. Sending more people their way for business. Recommended for sure.

Went in because my computer wasnt working due to a ram issue. The kind person helped me trouble shoot the laptop and used multiple different methods and different rams to see if the problem resolves and luckily he was able to fix my laptop after so many attempts. They had great customer service in repairing my laptop and saved me money possibly getting a new motherboard. They were kind, patient, and professional in trying to help my computer on the spot while they were busy.

So I found the Comp Pro guys and they figured out what was wrong, fixed it and I had my computer back in less than a week. They even gave me a 90-Day warranty in case anything goes wrong. Had an old Dell desktop which finally crashed as well as a power supply problem with my new Dell. The folks at Comp-Pros were awesome all the way around and did a fantastic job doing everything I asked as far as fixing my power supply problem along with transferring all my software and files from my old desktop to the new one. They even explained how to safely destroy my old hard drive once I was certain I had everything organized on my new desktop. Cooling fan had been dying on my HP laptop for more than a year. Finally, I got message that the cooling system was failing and my data was in danger. Time to get fan replaced. I took computer to Comp-Pros. They told me they had to order the fan and it would take 5 days. They called 2 days later and told me they had the fan; that was good news. When I told them I really couldnt leave the computer for a whole day, they told me to come first thing next day (Saturday morning) and Andre would try to expedite repair. In fact, he had it done in less than 1 1-2 hrs. The cost seemed a little high, but good service doesnt come cheap. Would definitely use them again.

My laptop (a Mac Book Pro) met with an accident involving some water a few weeks back. I was panicked and took it straight to the Mac Store who were less than helpful about data recovery which was one of my main concerns.Comp-Pros called me within a couple of hours to let me know what the damage was, and the state of my data. Repairs were seen to promptly, despite a slight hitch with a part that they sent for, but was in fact faulty. Spilled water over my work laptop, and Comp-Pros fixed it! The turnaround was amazing, I got it back within a few hours. I wouldve been so screwed. Thankfully, they didnt have to replace the logic board, but they did have the keyboard replacement in stock already and cleaned off some residue inside. Great repair work, gracious customer service and professionalism all wrapped up in one!!!!My 2008 HP Pavilion laptop was running very, very poorly. The fan was making really weird noises at first and then it would stop. The computer would overheat and it would not run at all. I tried to clean the fan on my own but the fan still was making noises and the computer would still freeze even after I dusted it.I brought my laptop to Allen at Computer Professionals one day. He was recommended to me by a friend that lives on the Westside. I could tell things would be smooth on the phone as Allen is incredible gracious. He has a great personality and you can tell over the phone that he really enjoys what he is doing and in my opinion that translates into good service!Apparently, Vista, which was the system that my computer had been running on was partly to blame. Allen explained to me that Vista taxes the hardware in a computer and that one of the reasons the fan was having problems was due to Vistas quirks. His tech installed Windows 7 and now the computer is as silent as when I purchased it. The computer has not frozen again since it was repaired!!!!Computer Professionals is very close to the 405 fwy between Butler and Colby. The office is on the third floor. Take the elevator up to the second floor and then take some stairs to the third floor.If your computer is giving you problems this is your place! If you wonder where good old fashioned customer service and professionalism has gone look no further! I highly recommend Computer Professionals!!!!
