Took my laptop in for a fan replacement, they were insanely fast and incredibly informative, as my situation required some nuance. This is definitely my new go to place for all my computer needs, especially after shopping around, these guys are the most honest and professional Ive found.

Sam and Young are awesome, brought in my RAID server which I couldnt start up after an outage. I got a few other recs to rebuild the array and do data recovery which would have cost thousands. They tried a few things but finally diagnosed a backbone part to the power supply (which had been swapped) and it worked. We appreciated all the help, quick follow ups via text and calls and clever thinking. They rock and will be using them again.

Great service, great pricing. Very fair. Brought in my sons laptop, for a fan issue, opened it and gave me a quote in 30 minutes. He put it back together and I was able to take home. He ordered a part which came in a couple of days,brought it back and in 30-40 minutes replaced the fan. Great service. Better than geek squad which would have kept my laptop for a month and charged me double.

I recently upgraded to Office 365 and once I synced with OneDrive, somehow lost TONS of emails Id been saving in folders in Outlook, mostly for my business. My HP Envy laptops battery wasnt holding a charge and then began to make strange noises. Sam diagnosed the problem, ordered the parts and restored my laptop to perfect running status with minimal separation from my computer.

I’m so happy I found this place. If you have an issue with your computer do not bother looking anywhere else. Dan had my laptop restored and fixed within three hours of dropping it off. It cost around $300 to wipe out and reinstall my computer with all of my saved files moved to a new hard drive, but the ease and quickness of their service is absolutely unbeatable. Thanks dan!

Ive taken all my computers, whether for repairs or upgrades, to Tech Studio. The price of parts and fees for service are always fair and reasonable. Matt does great work and is honest up front about the time itll take to do a job. Ive never had to wait longer than promised for work to be done. Sometimes its done earlier than expected. Four years ago my office computer had a serious problem in my IT guy was out of country for two week vacation. So I went to the web and happened upon tech studio. What a lucky break. Tech studio has been my go to IT solution ever since. With 17 in-house PCs and four Macintosh workstations and three servers we have issues pop up on a regular basis from viruses to networking issues, upgrades and replacements the people at tech studio have been fantastic they understand when were in a real bind and they can get somebody here quickly the techs always been friendly, courteous,knowledgeable and reliable.

Whenever one of my computers goes down, its a five-alarm fire. Im a writer, and being stranded without a computer is tantamount to being blinded, albeit temporarily. Having competent tech support is essential to my professional well being.These folks are fast, friendly, and fair, which is something I cant say about all of my previous digital lifelines. I have used them multiple times over the past three or four years, and I cant recommend them more highly. They have consistently performed above and beyond expectation for me, and my bar is set pretty high.If you in the West LA/South Bay area -- heck, even if you arent, and have reliable transportation -- you need look no further for your computer repair and maintenance needs. Just had the most wonderful experience at Tech Studio. Had a sound issue with my Macbook Pro and could not figure out the issue. Dan looked at it, five minutes later it was fixed, no charge. Threw in some additional advice about upgrading. All the way friendly and supportive, not in any way making me feel stupid because I had not seen what was obvious to him. Robert was beyond amazing! I called panicked on a Saturday after my computer completely turned off and wouldnt restart. Robert told me to come on in and immediately began working on my computer. Luckily he was able to fix it and even took the time to clean out my computer without me even realizing it was dirty. Rob & Matt are awesome. My computer was stolen over Christmas and I needed to get my old MacBook up and running. 13 MacBook Pro. They installed a new hard drive, battery, and the operating system for cheaper than I could do it myself. My Mac is running fantastically now. I am very happy. I have been coming to them for tune ups since 2013 and can attest they are awesome.

Had my daughter old mac-book uni-body (late 2008) fix and they did an amazing job to it. Apple barely wanted to deal with me as it was such a last century computer. I was not ready to spend another thousand on a new one and Seth and Matt brought it back to life and it feels like a brand new computer. I saved a bunch of money by sending my computer here rather than sending my computer to dell where they wanted to charge me almost $500 where i spent $80 with tech studio! Matt was super helpful during the whole process and updated me with emails and phone calls so i knew exactly what was happening with my laptop and if i was ok with it. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

My MacBook Air screen was cracked and every place I called said I could have it shipped and installed in 5 business days. I called these guys and they went out of their way to source me a local refurbished screen for cheaper than the new ones people were quoting me.The best part...they sourced the part and installed the screen on the same day! Very happy to have a local Venice Apple expert.

These guys did a great job repairing my Toshiba Laptop. I had fouled it up by trying to repair it myself from some internet advice. They very kindly did not shame me for it; and were very professional.They let me know what they were going to do and how much it would cost. I got my laptop back working like new and with my original issue repaired as well.I also like that theyre a local shop and not a big, faceless, national brand.

Tech Studio and everyone we worked with were great and highly professional. Visiting from overseas my macbook had problems starting up and I brought it to them to have a look at it. They ran a diagnostic with regular progress updates (in fact the most frequent updates from any computer service provider I have had here or abroad) all via email and additional phone messages. When they found out my logic board was fried and obtained a new laptop, they easily transferred the data both to the new laptop and a usb. They were very reasonably priced, friendly, helpful and highly recommended. Thanks guys!

TechStudio is everything you want in a computer repair store. Their store front on Abbott Kinney is extremely legit. The staff is knowledgable, friendly and more importantly...trustworthy. There was no fear factor up selling. I came in to have more ram installed on my computer. The person who worked on my Mac was really helpful. He went above and beyond and cleaned up some of the apps that were automatically opening on my computer (slowing it down). He ran a few updates and cleaned up my system. I was told to work with the computer to see if there was an improvement. He explained my options to further improve my machine if I felt I needed more speed. All of the options were extremely reasonable in regards to scope and price. I was in and out of there in under 25 minutes (as a walk in). If your laptop is as centric to your livelihood as mine is, you want to take it somewhere that is legitimate, trustworthy and reasonably priced. Look no further.

Very friendly guys who know their work. Replaced DC jack on my laptop exactly on time and for the fixed price. Although in another shop technicians told me that the work was hard and refused to take it up.

Great. Super quick and nice. Know what theyre doing. I brought in a PC board with a faulty USB connector. Matt was able to desoldered it, soldered on a new one, tested it and call me for pickup less than 2 hours later.

These guys are amazing. Matt transferred my data over to my new computer over a year ago, but he and Robert still take my frantic calls when I am freaking out because I broke my laptop again. I have a huge bullseye on my back and a sign that says, Please rip my face off and waaayyy overcharge me because I know nothing about computers. The Tech studio staff could have taken advantage of this but they are HONEST, patient, kind, and competent.
