I love Los Altos, I moved here over five years ago as a resident, with the plan of buying a house in the area. I fell in love with the residents and the building so much that I never want to leave. It is truly the best kept secret in Los Angeles! I later became the manager and can honestly say I am living a dream. The Old Hollywood history of this building, from residents like Bette Davis, Marion Davies, Mae West and William R Heasrt continue to attract historians who want to be a part of the glamour and history. Our apartments are the finest available in Los Angeles. The love and sense of community in this building is the reason our residents never leave. Come visit and fall in love!

They raised our rent by hundreds of dollars after the first year then tried to take our ENTIRE 2500+ deposit. Had to fight to get some back — RIDICULOUS fees. Now we live in a 2 bedroom 1600 sq ft apartment next to the grove for a fraction of what it cost for a 1 bedroom (under 900 sq ft) place here.
