I have flown with delta few times in the past few times and I have had really great experience. Definitely practice social distance, plane is not full. Still have middle empty seat. Snacks and water in the Flight. Comfortable seat and wonderful staff. Highly recommend it and will continue to fly with them

In flight airline it self is ok not better not worth than other major Airline but my issue is that their customer service to call or chat is not existence! I try to chat with them and it s been over 17 hours still no reply . Every 2 hours I get a new bot text “ Do you still need assistance?A) Yes B) NoShame on you Delta ! My issue must be fixed with live representative and I can not do it before my flight .

Delta in LAX as a connecting airport is a mess right now with time-consuming bus shuttles between terminals. I know theyre in the process of addressing this, but Delta/LAX will reportedly not have tunnels installed between the terminals for another few years. The situation is unacceptable currently, especially for someone like me who ALWAYS needs to change terminals (flying in from San Diego) and often having only 30-40 minutes to do so. I havent missed a connection yet due to this, but each time I need to deal with it, there is a high amount of stress.Employees overseeing this shuttle transfer operation in LAX are indifferent at best, and (in most cases) ornery when you ask them questions or request help -- which, by the way, you really should not need to do if things were labeled correctly and there was appropriate signage, which there is not. Lines are organized or form without rhyme or reason for the different buses. There seems to be a capacity problem, as the buses fill up and those who dont make it are SOL until the next bus. Also, half the time one of the escalators has been broken.Delta really needs to send someone here from Atlanta to assess this whole situation and fix it. Theyre losing customers over this, Im sure of it.LAX is the closest thing to a Delta hub as exists in CA, so 2019 will be my last year as Delta Diamond, as Im moving over to Alaska as my primary air carrier due to a personal need for less stressful flying out of the west coast -- which I will get from Alaska due to (thankfully) avoiding LAX and having more direct flights out of my home city of San Diego to cities I go to.

Very disappointed in my experience with Delta airlines. After flying most of the main airlines, I had thought Delta was better, but I was wrong. My plight began as a business trip from LAX to New Orleans. I had to reach my flight by driving up from San Diego county. If you know anything about traffic, this can be a disaster. After two plus hours on the road I made it to the Quik park lot, and was anxious to get to my terminal in time. That didnt happen, the ride took nearly half an hour and I missed my flight. Deltas solution was charging me $75 for a flight change to a downgraded seat location. Having no choice, I agreed to pay, thinking that I might be refunded if I spoke to customer service about the problem. No luck, I was first on the phone with a woman who spoke poor English and then finally talked to a supervisor from Dallas who had no desire to try and remove the fee. So, as promised Im giving a review and warning anyone who might run into the same issue.

I booked this airline because I heard good things, but our experience made me wanna cry. We were going home from a wonderful cruise on Norwegian and the only thing that ruined it was Delta Airlines, we checked in early so we wouldnt miss our flight but the lady that checked us in sky priority sent us too the wrong terminal she did inform us that our flight was delayed after seating in the terminal she sent us too for several hours my husband decided to check the flight board and noticed that Delta had changed the terminal they did send a email but that only indicated the time change not that we needed to be at another terminal. All in all we missed our flight and basically had to stay in LA for the next flight going out and lost our First Class seating. My job was thinking on making this airline out majority travel airline, but I will be bringing this incident up at our next meeting.

If you have not checked and printed the boarding pass, you need to use the kiosk. They dont check in at counter anymore. Only drop off checked in luggage. No boarding pass, cant drop it off. There are 15 kiosk. There is one staff there in case people need help how to operate the machine.At the gate, big problem..... definitely need MORE charging stations! Now almost everyone has phone or electronic. It will be ideal to have outlet at every chair.

From the outdoor ticketing to inside info and agents at the gate area, everyone was friendly, pleasant and professional. Onto the plane, the same attributes applied. Yes I would use Delta again, I would recommend Delta. With that said, I do wish the cost had been less, and layover shorter than 3 hours.

So I booked a hacker fare and Delta was my flight back home to Denver. I was flying wth my family of 4..I kept trying to pick seats and was not able to until the time of check in(24hours) and noticed only a few seats left. I have two children, a teenager and preteen. So I was a little nervous not sitting next to them and thought most people want the isle seat and may not trade with me just because I ask nicely. So we arrive at the airport make our way to the gate and we sit and wait. I keep checking the flight on the Delta app and noticed the seats were showing a different location. I immediately approached the desk to ask and the employee what was going on. The employee who was a young man with glasses explained to me he made the changes since were a family of four. Even in the more room part of the plane! Wow. Thank you. Thank you for not having me ask people to trade me. Thank you for not having to worry my children that they may have to sit alone. It was a nice gesture and i along with my family were grateful. He didnt ask and Im good with that. He made the decision and did what he thought was right. I do not remember his name from the badge but thank you again...I flew out on Tuesday evening at gate 35.😁

The comfort seating is good. Cancelled flight. Lost luggage. Already paid for future flights......... Im feeling nervous about now. Maybe they can find the bags quick. I hope. Will let you know how it goes. 3 stars now. Maybe 5 later. Okay. So now it is later. The airline brought the lost bag to the hotel after dinner. Not bad at all. No real grief overall! Bumping the rating up. Why not 5 stars? That doesnt exist in modern times with large airlines. Not the good old days anymore. Good job Delta. Im a little less nervous now.

THIS IS THE WORST AIRLINE OF ALL TIME. Im writing this because I have time to while being on hold for 40 minutes for the 3rd time because I keep getting hung up on. I just want the bag you guys stole from me and have payed to get back without you wasting more of my life. This aiine left me stranded 500 miles from home with no clothes. Refused to give me my bag unless I payed them a 200$ fee. Most unprofessional, rude employees with by far the worst corporate policies. ITS NOT WORTH FLYING WITH THEM EVER!!

Wow! There’s been serious service upgrade onboard Delta Air. It wasn’t this way the last time I flew in Delta; this time I was treated like I’m flying international rout. The breakfast and all their overall service was so amazing that I almost didn’t want to arrive.

Hello Delta. Im giving you a 4.5 star rating bc your staff in airport and aboard your airline were both phenomenal. Being disabled coupled with soft tissue injuries from auto accident the day before, I was unable to walk. Staff promptly brought wheelchair to get me to gate food etc. Once boarded they continued to check on me. Upon landing at destination I had to wait on plane for about 20 minutes for assistance. I was blown away when pilot offered me water and apologized for me having to wait bc DFW was so busy. Still they delivered the kind of service and attention that makes you feel special. Hats off to Delta LAX and Flight 2632 February 5, 2019

In July, I booked a reservation with Delta to fly from LAX to FCO departing 11/15/17 returning 11/22/17. I booked early to ensure that for such a long flight, I could get all our seats together and at the front of the plane, for me, my husband and daughters. On the outgoing flight we had seats 23 A, B, C & D. On the return we had 21H,J,K & L. The prices ended up going down a few weeks after I booked, so I obviously booked a little early. I didnt care though because we had great seats. At the time I booked, most of the plane seats were available.I checked on our reservations a few days weeks before the flight to see that we had no seats assigned anymore. I tried assigning new seats but nothing would save. I called Delta. They tried to book seats for over an hour, but could not. They finally told me to call Alitalia because only they could do it. I did. Alitalia tried for over an hour, but said because it was “provided in code share,” they could not assign my seats, only Delta could. I called Delta again. We were on the phone over an hour with her trying to assign the seats. She finally said there was a new system and for some reason, it would not let the seats be assigned. She admitted there was something wrong with the system. She said I would have to wait until I got to the airport to see if they could assign seats then. She acknowledged that at that time, we would get whatever seats were leftover.I understand that seats are not guaranteed, however, Delta made a big deal of providing Delta Basic Economy Fares in which you would not be able to book a seat until check-in. These were not those fares! I booked so early to ensure seats together in the front rows. Now we are at the mercy of whatever is left for a 13+ hour flight. My girls are nervous when flying as it is. This was not a matter of us being reassigned for some reason, there system had a glitch that would not allow the seats to be saved.We ended up with two 13 hour flights in seats that were randomly assigned at check-in, all the way in the back of the plane next to the noisy meal preparation area and bad smelling restrooms. Our young daughters were seated next to strangers. We were not treated well, or fairly as customers who expected more from our booking airline! I contacted Delta to voice my displeasure and they have not even bothered to respond to my customer complaint. They clearly do not care. They got their money and the customers do not matter.

We booked our trip to LA from Copenhagen with KLM, but the flights back were operated by Delta. Even though they are both part of SkyTeam, Delta has considerably worse policies than KLM. Delta happily charges you extra ($55) for a regular economy aisle or window seat, because they are “preferred” seats. Of course they are preferred seats, that’s why I check in early and make sure my girlfriend and I have adjoining seats. I’m okay with having middle seats if we’re indeed next to each other. But Delta is happy to just split up your group, even if you’re just two, and place you in middle seats in different rows so they can make more money off of aisle and window seats. Including from you if you want to get your group seated together again.

I’m very I’ve chosen this flight! The kindness of the stewardesses always depends, I don’t choose it as a rating fact.The food was okay (Brownie on picture was amazing). The plane interior is on fleek - you have enough space for your legs, the seats are comfortable and the TV-Programm fits. (Same for KLM-Airlines)

I will never fly Delta again. When trying to check in at the Billings, MT airport it took them over thirty minutes to bring up our itinerary and then, even though it was an international flight, they charged us $150 for luggage and still did not have the tickets right. When we went to LA & Korean Air and presented the same itinerary to them they immediately brought it up and were very courteous and helpful and that is something the Delta staff was not.

Delta airlines destroyed our luggage, promised to fix it and send it back to my address (no compensation), then offered us 2 plastic bags for our stuff, so why not, better than nothing. Thanks Delta Airlines for a great experience, wasted hour and bad mood after long flight.

Overbook flights by more than 20%! Seriously, every single flight theyre asking for 20-30 people to give up their seats. Delays delays and (wait for it)... By their own admission flights are on time only 64% of the time, sure its more than half, but is that really the mark? And DELAYS!

I had a terrible experience for a short flight from SF to LA. Not only did we wait in the cabin longer than the flight time itself, they made us check in our carry on just because they assumed there wasn’t gonna be enough room in the overhead bins. They were totally wrong about that!

Wrong terminal. Flown twice on Delta over the last month and both times they send me to the wrong terminal. Shouldnt be that difficult to get the terminal and gate right. Poor planning and execution.

Never ever ever ever. Ever. Fly Delta. Leaving LAX 6 hours late after they switched us to Alaskan airlines. Almost every Delta flight on the board was delayed. Weather was not a factor, watched 6 flights leave for Seattle while we waited.
