From the initial phone call to inquire about a new roof to completion of job, every single person we came into contact with either in person or on the phone was courteous and able to answer our questions. Our roofing team worked from 7am to sundown to complete our roof and the clean up was GREAT! We had one minor glitch during the process and Collis was quick to remedy this issue. Great job to the entire team. Oh, and the seamless gutter install was flawless and professional as well!

I would recommend that you find someone else to do the job. Almost anyone can install a roof but it takes a top-notch company who will warrantee and guarantee their work. Offering meaningless words about we will get back to you within 72 hours and then never returning a car is a regular practice of this company. The last call for service went completely and answered this Carl suggested I get back with him for five days which we do not even anticipate to hear from them.Unless they’re giving you the roof look elsewhere

From the start to the finish they were GREAT! The customer was actually important! A screen company had installed an elite roof improperly, they even fix that. My house looks great and I can now use my screen porch without it leaking. CHOOSE COLLIS!

We love our gorgeous new roof and appreciate how easy Collis made the reroofing process. Jonathan patiently provided lots of shingle color options and styles. He also gave us addresses where we could view roofs on homes in our area. The crew that installed our roof was very professional. We didnt have to point out wood that needed to be replaced. They were on it! They cleaned up every day before they left. Once the job was over we scowered our yard for nails and found only a very few in our hedges. None on the grass! Amazing! Jonathan came back to make sure we were happy and quickly took care of 2 small extra needs. No big deal. We cannot recommend Collis highly enough!!!

I highly recommend Collis Roofing.I have had some very bad experiences when dealing with contractors. Grab the money and run types or bait and switch sales reps. Some say one thing and do the opposite. Most of the time you don’t find out how bad they are till you already have much to lose. This is not the case with Collis. More specifically, Ken Duquette.I was treated with patience, experience and respect. He took the time to make sure I understood everything and did research if we needed extra direction for certain aspects of the job. He was always on the level and true to his word. It was like being treated by the best member of your family. No exaggeration. Just a really good guy. I consider myself lucky to have met him and gotten his assistance. There’s no one finer in the business.

We moved to central FL from out-of-state. The roof, installed by Collis, had known leaks per the inspection. The seller failed to disclose that there was a warranty on the roof. We dumb-lucked onto the information indicating the warranty. We contacted Collis who was willing to only give us a bid on the repair job not to honor the warranty at all, no expections. Their bid was almost double of the other two bids we received. Based on the shotty workmanship of the installation, the horrible customer service, and inflated repair estimate we went with a much better company (Roof Top Services) who went above and beyond our expectations. I do NOT recommend Collis to anyone! Their office staff is unprofessional. Their prices are above the competition. And they clearly do not stand behind their work. Very disappointed in Collis Roofing!

THE BEST experience with any workforce & office staff we have ever encountered! We had our very old roof on house & addition re-roofed, with repairs & a very large high roof shingled shop with extensive damage done. They work on time, fast, efficient, clean - kept us informed and were so respectful & well mannered. Completely unobtrusive. They completely cleaned up after work. Recently, my house insurance decided to not renew our policy, got new insurance which needed a new 4 point inspection on our house. Inspector asked me who we used for the roof back in 2017.I told him COLLIS ROOFING. He said it was the best job he has seen, saying because of the materials used, we will have a lower rate, Dont ever use roofers that come to you, you get what you pay for. Collis Roofing is the best. Bid was $6000.00 less than my next closest bid and I got FREE GUTTERS a Owens Coring Platinum Warranty and a Special Order Color Upgrade. Eddie Coad is a great estimator, he explained every think in great detail. Jim Boyd the site supervisor was personable and made sure everything was done to his standards, much more than the building code required. Miguels installation crew was on time. They did a great job on the install and cleaned up each a everyday. They cleaned up so well you wouldnt know they were even there. Great Experience.

Mark Hurwitz and his team did an outstanding job on our new roof in Downtown Orlando. They completed the job on time and were VERY responsive to all our requests. They went above and beyond and I do not say that too often about companies. I was SO pleased with their work and professionalism that I have already recommended them to some of my friends. They left the job site clean and were very respectful the entire time. You get what you pay for. I highly recommend them.

I used to think this was a great company. And was happy to learn they were redoing the roofs in my townhome community. Then after my roof was replaced I encountered a leak between my enclosed sunroom and roof. Their foreman came out and took pictures and stated it could be fixed two ways. Then he said their manager would provide the quotes to fix it to my HOA. Its been months and per my HOA there has been no response or quotes provided. My HOA stated they couldnt get a response from Collis. And there were other homes with unresolved problems too.What started as some small drips has turned into water leaking down into my units wall whenever it rains. It has now damaged the drywall and paint. Im really disappointed that this is how they handle their customers. Something small has turned into the biggest fustrating issue. And water is still leaking in causing damages to my interior. A disappointing experience all around.

What an Amazing Company

From the beginning when I called for an estimate they were very professional. The representative from the company Ken was very professional and was a zero pressure guy. He provided me with all the information I requested and sent me a quote the next day. Ken also provided several names/addresses of several clients that i contacted regarding their experience. I had other roofing companies out as well but none were as professional and complete as Collis. Collis also provided me with a USAF Veteran discount as well which was never mentioned by the other companies that I met with. Once the documents were signed and a permit was issued Collis sent out a team to removed my Solar Electric panels. After the solar was removed, the team showed up as I was told and completed the job in the promised time. They cleaned up the yard of all debris and used magnets to pick up any nails around the property. The Supervisor Jim was here every day and doublechecked on the progress of the crew and answered any questions I had. After completion did another review of the property. Certainly, I would not have any hesitation of recommending Collis for your roofing needs.

Unfortunately our roof had reached it life expectancy and needed a new roof. We obtained 5 roofing quotes and all came in within 1000.00 dollars of each other. Collis Roofing wasnt the least expensive nor the highest. However they were reasonable on the wood replacement and acted very professional. They Offered their licensing and workmans compensation insurance policies. Their representative Ed Coad gave an in depth description of materials used and application of the roofing materials and warranties. At the time of my roof replacement they had a special to replace existing gutters. The combination of a reasonable quote, proper licensing and insurance, materials including reasonable wood replacement, warranty, gutter replacement and professionalism is why i chose Collis Roofing. The roof passed County Inspection! Our homeowners insurance went down in price! I recommend Collis Roofing!

I purchased a lifetime warranty and a year later the shingles they used discolored. Collis referred me to Owens shingle the maker of the shingles. Owens sent a representative to look at the discoloration however they removed samples of the discolored shingles from different sections of the roof and sent me$1,000 l. Unacceptable! Collis roofing suggested we pressure wash the roof with a product they recommended . This was done but the discoloration remains. Now not only do I have discoloration, I have missing shingles as well. Nothing is being done to fix this issue.

My insurance companys adjuster came in with a price 1/3 under the roofers estimates. The insurance told me that was all they were going to pay. Then the Collis estimator, Matt Alston assuredme that my insurance was not correct. Matt then did a very detailed quote using the insurance companies agreed upon pricing policy. It showed that the insurance adjuster was wrong. Matt then went over the quote with the claims adjusters. We could not have asked for a better roofing company. They were reasonable, professional and installed an amazing product. We are very happy with Collis and will use them for all of our roofing needs. From the estimate, to the final bill, there was no doubt every employee does their best to satisfy the customer.

Collis did a roof repair about 4 months ago, and then a larger leak appeared only a foot or so away from the original repair. They are saying it is in a different area. My concern is, if the leaks are that close in proximity, why didnt they see that area at the time of the other? I think they zeroed in on the first spot and the looked no further; apparently should have done a more complete inspection the first time so both spots could have been repaired at the same time. Their roof repair costs are not cheap. Extremely disappointed that they wont stand behind their work.

I received a formal estimate of four pages and called to schedule the work to be done. I was informed that even though the contract does not state there is a time limit on the estimate that the price will not be honored because it is busy season. If there is a time limit then it should be in the contract along with the other three pages of legal terms and conditions.

I called the top 3 rated roofers in Orlando to give me an estimate. The first two got on the roof, climbed down and said, “We will send you a quote tomorrow”. Eddie, from Collis roofing, gave me pamphlets of information and choices of available colors. He went to his truck and gave me the estimate in ten minutes! The estimates were basically the same. However, the initial customer service provided set Collis Roofing above the rest. The roofers came out and worked hard. They were basically done in two days. Zach, the supervisor, was outstanding. He took me around the house, showed me what they did, and asked if I had any concerns or questions. Excellent customer service! They cleaned up everything around my house including blowing off my whole driveway! When paying my bill, I called in and spoke with a very professional woman. She was great and thanked me for using Collis Roofing. I highly recommend this roofing company. They are not just about installing a roof. From my initial consultation with their estimator, Andrew, to the final inspection, I was impressed by every aspect of the project. I had gotten 4 roofing estimates previously and had decided that after this estimate I would choose which company to go with. After meeting with Andrew the choice was easy. Within days of signing the contract, the work began; start to finish was 2 days. The crew showed up exactly on time and it was non stop from there. We needed several unexpected repairs in addition to the replacement and those were handled to ensure any areas of concern were addressed. Clean up was very thorough. The site supervisor was careful to inspect all aspects of the job and answered any questions we had. There was a sudden wind/rain storm the day after they finished and I had absolute confidence that my roof would stand up to whatever weather it was subjected to.From the estimator to the roofing craftsmen, the site supervisor to the administrative assistants (especially Ashley who was so patient with my questions), every Collis employee I encountered was first rate. I was sitting outside my house watching my Twin grandsons play baseball when Jonathan approached me and and ask for a few minutes of my time. He explained how he could replace my old roof for just my insurance deductible. After his initial inspection he offered to meet the insurance adjuster and work with the company should I decide to file a claim and that’s exactly what happened. Jonathan was prompt and professional never missing a beat.He dropped off several samples of shingles and gave me addresses of completed roofs to help with my color selection. He coordinated the entire project. Install days came and went without any problems. The result is amazing and was stress free. I used Collis 12 years ago for a reroof and had no problems. After a recent hail storm, I called Collis for a free inspection. The inspector/salesman found damage on the roof and recommended that I file a claim with my insurance company. I filed a claim and then the problems started. The adjuster never got the estimate or pictures from the salesman so they sent out a third party inspector. Collis salesmen failed to meet with inspector even though he said he would. After second inspection, no damage found and claim denied. I am now fighting with insurance company with the help of a new company. Many roofs in neighborhood had new roof replacements due to storm and I feel mine would have been replaced also if I had used a different company. I gave one extra star for previous experience.

Everything went well. Outside looks good. Unfortunately I didnt do an inspection of my attic.I went to retrieve some holiday decorations and was covered in nails, tar, saw dust, shingle clippings and splinters. When I pulled open the door to my attic all this stuff dumped on my face and head. The worse part was my child was next to me and had debris fall on his neck and down the back of his shirt. I found roofing tacks and nails all over the latter.The floor was a complete mess of nails and wood. I got that and the latter cleaned but the attic is a complete mess. With 8 children and the holidays, I just dont have time to clean it. So it will just have to wait but everything in the attic is absolutely covered in saw dust and nails.The roof job was done in a timely manner and the staff was good about cleaning the outside around the home. I only have found 3 roofing nails/tacks.The project manager was super and attended to every concern I had.

We had to have our tile roof replaced and as we have a big home, I was amazed with the efficiency they had while replacing it. The crew worked from dawn to dusk and even on the weekends. Our roof was finished in two weeks and 2 days which I feel was way faster than I thought it would be. We were fortunate we had no bad weather during that time. The crew and the supervisors were so responsive to any concerns or special requests I had. Definitely give them an A+ on everything they did.

Roof was replaced in 2014 and the exterior of the roof was installed well. However, when they replaced three skylights, they failed to seal the interior of the skylight to the drywall, leaving a gap into the attic. After several years of trying to figure out why mold was growing around the skylight, an indoor air quality company determined the gap in the skylight was the issue.I called Collins to explain the situation, and they told me that there was nothing they could do because the “workmanship” warranty had expired. Poor excuse for something that took several years to figure out and correct at a cost of an additional $1,500.Responding to Collis’ reply...Collis canceled the original appointment and tried to reschedule for a date that I already had a contractor scheduled to fix the poor installation of the skylights. I tried to give Collis an opportunity to evaluate the issue before it was addressed by a company that I could trust. And I had called them almost a year before and was told that, since there was no visible water in the attic, they did not feel it was poor installation.Again, good work on the roof, poor work on the interior installation of the skylights, and terrible customer service after they had received close to $20,000 for their work.

The roof quoter came an hour early with no call,we were told after a 2 minute walk around the house he would send a quote that day,three days later after having to call the office he got back to us with an astronomical amount to do the roof. I would not recommend this company for any roofing jobs

My parents decided to go with this company and they didn’t show up for adjustment/paperwork or any kind of contact at all. My parents were completely ignored. Not to mention they bad mouth other roofing companies and will lie to you. That shows complete unprofessionalism. Would not recommend.

DISMAL operating skills for a family company. Absolutely no management skills or follow up.We scheduled an appointment for an evaluation and quote for repair of a roof leak and were given a window of 12pm - 4 pm on Friday 11/22/19. We were to expect Willie. At 3:45pm I called the office to see when I might expect Willie to arrive. Gabriella, in repairs department, was going to let me know and I could expect a call back in 10 minutes. NO call back. At 4:10pm I call again and was told the vehicle was on its way to my house and call back at 4:30pm if it hadnt arrived. No one showed so I call back at 4:45pm and they have no idea where Willie is, and by the way, Gabriella has gone home for the evening. I would not recommend ANY dealings with this company.

I have a really intricate roof and they figured out how to make it work best. I needed a lot of prep and waterproofing and they were the ONLY company in the area who could do the job. I asked for quotes from other companies first and I was recommended to go check out Collis because they can handle the more difficult jobs.Chris Zweifach really took care of me, he made sure I understood everything before the project got started and he kept me posted every step of the way.I definitely recommend Collis roofing to anyone who wants the job done right the first time.

2nd time using Collis Roofing one for myself and 4 months later for my mother, and they were superb. Joey was my contractor and does an unbelievable job getting the right color to permits to completion. Joey made sure materials were delivered and job was over seeing. Never had a problem, he took care of my mothers gutters and now the interior of my bathroom from the roof leak. They can cover everything from roof and if there is any damages they can repair it. My mother had rotten wood on her chimney and they replaced it. Excellent service and highly recommend Collis Roofing, now Ill tell you they were the most expensive but well worth it, Joey on the initial visit stated they put down a membrane instead of regular tar paper like most roofers. This membrane will seal much better than your conventional tar paper. And just the overall material and craftsman ship super-seeds other roofers. Had my roof replaced in April/May 2018 w/new gutters and leaf guards. Roof was replaced and the gutters were installed with the leaf guards with an exception. Back has a screen lanai and the gutters were not replaced due to structure. When taking off the old roof, the crew took out the leaf guards that were there. I have been unable to get Collis to replace what they removed. I know have gutters full of leaves and leaking all over. Beware, as they will not come back once the job is complete to fix their mistake.9/2 I was finally able to get on a ladder today to check if the leak guards were installed as it was posted by Collis. Not surprising, the guards are not there as posted. Crew showed up unannounced, got on my roof without notifying me, and not sure what the did up there. This issue is still not resolved.

Awesome customer service... Michael and Autumn were there through the whole process... Roofers were there early in the morning and did most of my roof in one day... I highly recommend Collins Roofing!!!

Collis was our only choice to replace our 30 year old roof. Each team worked 9,10,11 hours per day with our foreman on site. The teams cleaned up nails and debris every day, and actually seemed to be cheerful with their day.Nobody else is like Colllis.

Matthew came on Thursday to quote the price to replace the roof and gutters and provided an estimate. Collis started work on Monday and was completed on Tuesday and gutters were done on Wednesday. Matthew provided top notch service and I would highly recommend asking for him when seeking a quote. The way he disclosed everything to take place is exactly how it happened. The workers were very professional and the clean up was superb. I would highly recommend Collis Roofing to my family and friends and will only request Matthew as the sales rep.

We had previous roof repairs done by another company only to have them worsen. It was then that we contacted Collis Roofing. They were fantastic from beginning to end! They thoroughly explained the work, answered questions, and stayed in contact. Phone calls, texts, and emails were returned promptly. The new roof they installed fixed our problems and they improved ventilation. We were extremely happy with the work Collis did and would highly recommend them.

I was very pleased with the quick service that I received after I got my loan . The Supervisor called me a day after I paid half of my cost of the roof and said that they would be there the next week to start the roof. He said that the trash bin would be delivered the day before they started and asked that we move our cars out of the driveway so that they could put the bin in the driveway. He also explained that if the bin was put in the middle of of the driveway and it was damaged that it wasn’t their fault. But if the bin was placed on the edge of the driveway, it was their fault and they would pay for the repairs. I thought that was kind that he told me that and that I understood that. And he also told me that because of the large amount of nails that they would be taking out of the roof, that they would sweep the yard, the.driveway and sidewalk. That’s the only one of two problems that we had. Both my son’s and my cars both had flat tires and couldn’t be repaired because both tires had two nails that were too close together to be repaired. So we both had to get new tires, which cost us both $78. Also, when one of the workers came back to see if everything was fine with the roof, I said that it was ok with no leaks since we had a torrential rain storm after they had finished. And I said that we didn’t have any problems that I could see. He also asked if I wanted him to take the lumber and extra shingles away fo me. And I said yes not thinking that we might need them if we had damage to the roof. So I called Buster, our Supervisor, and explained what happened to our tires and to get our shingles back, as he explained that we were only charged for the lumber that they used . He said that he would see if what he could do about getting reimbursed for our tires and getting our shingles returned but I never heard back from him.The county came twice and both times found problems with the roof and both times there was one of the workers was there immediately to fix the problems and the roof passed inspection. I appreciated Collis’ fast service in both instances .In closing, I would say that I am more than pleased with Collis professional and excellent work and staff. But I just wished that I would have heard something about being reimbursed for our tires (which I believe that we should as I feel that they should have swept the street for nails in the street where we were asked to park our cars) and have had my shingles returned. On the other hand, I have recommended to at least two people who needed new roofs to go to Collis to have it done. That’s how pleased with Collis Roofing.

Collis did a great job on our roof from start to finish. They took their time to install everything just right. They kept us informed throughout and even came back on the 4th of July to finish and their cleanup was very thorough. Would definitely use them again.

Collis Roofing is an excellent company to deal with and I highly recommend them .From the sales person, customer service, and to the crew, everyone was very professional and courteous.I cannot say enough good things about the crew. They showed up on time, put in 11 hours a day, and completed the job within 2 days. All while the heat index was at 110 degrees. (July 2nd and 3rd) After the work was completed the crew did a thorough job of cleaning up the property in the rain. After they left, other than having a great looking roof you would have never known they were there.

After hurricane Irma I needed a whole new roof put on. Collis came out and gave me a detailed estimate with a senior discount. They have been more than helpful and answered all my questions, explaining all the details to me. I called Collis Roofing for an estimate to replace my roof after hurricane Irma. Wally was the estimator sent to look at my roof. He was right on time, very polite, and extremely knowledgeable. He took time to answer all my questions and offer suggestions on other potential problem areas non-roof related that could cause trouble down the road. Wally is an excellent resource with over 40 years experience in the business!

I owned a home in Fl . The salesman went on the roof and took pictures . He then met with us and told us that the older vent could just stay there and did not need to be replaced. He showed us different packages that could be chosen so we went with the best and of course most expensive .The first rain storm and we had water everywhere in our family room .It took a few visits over many months to figure out it was from the older vent that I was told did not need replacing. Eventually maybe 5 months later the vent was removed and closed in .The manager didnt believe me when I told him the salesman told me to leave the old vent .Now I know that whoever owns this company doesnt know about our story . My hope is that now he does . And that he makes it mandatory to remove all preexisting roofing inserts .It was a terrible 12k $$$ experience and the owner can now take steps to make sure it never happen to other good people that put their confidence in all of them .

BUYER BEWARD. This company ripped off our many in our neighborhood - Windsor Hill/Windermere. Do your research and know they will take your money, do not do good work and they dont even return calls. Bottom line - the Collis norm is 21-28 days to get someone out to evaluate leaks caused from bad Collis workmanship for warranty. Also a norm that they simply do no return calls and owner wouldnt receive or make calls to address and overcome issues. Dont take my word - Check them out on FACEBOOK and more details.
