Great Gym, love the equipment they have, and the owner is awesome..

What a great gym! I really enjoyed my time working out here. Was such a fun and upbeat atmosphere! The gym is set up nicely and there is such a wide variety of things to do. I can create an endless number of efficient routines to continue to get stronger and stay healthy. The owners were very nice and helpful.I highly recommend this gym!

This place is perfect. They have everything we need! treadmills, weights, even a climbing wall. They leave you alone and you can just work out or work with your own trainer.

Great selection of equipment, and fair prices keep this from being a 1 star review. Like other reviews have mentioned the owners wife who is there every day is very hard to deal with. I had an experience where they changed the gym hours, and only posted about it on her personal Instagram. I posted a screenshot publicly so the members that follow me are aware of the changes, and expressed my frustration in losing one of my regular training days which is my right. The owners wife then blocked me and everyone who commented on the post which is also her right, no big deal. Heres where it got unprofessional, when we went to workout (my wife, me, and one of our kids) she wouldnt speak to us, and kept giving us dirty looks which made us uncomfortable. Then text me on my personal phone about gym business a few days later. So the next training day when she was all of a sudden our best friend again, because she wanted our membership dues, I asked her not to text me on my personal phone. She then went back to bad looks and wouldnt let us listen to music. Today was the last straw when my wife and kid walked in she yelled at her in front of other members that we were two days past due and to pay or thats it. Thats a horrible thing to do to someone that is already uncomfortable in the gym, and new to working out. There are other negatives in the gym like the only source of water being the bathroom tap, unorganized, and cluttered, but the real shame is being treated unprofessionally, and empty promises about 24 hour access, and new equipment.

Absolutely love this gym!!!! They have equipment that I havent found anywhere in town, as well as squat racks and a variety of free weights! 😍

James and I are super excited to bring to life the most amazing gym environment possible here in Longview. We really felt the community needed a place like this. One that is friendly and involved with the community, members and their needs. Men, women, young and old are all welcomed to come and play on all the different varieties of equipment that is available in our gym.. We do not discriminate, ALL are welcome to come collaborate and join in on the fun atmosphere .. We have a wide range to choose from: ninja warrior training, body building, power lifting, strong man, functional fitness, 120 feet of turf and a rock wall that is almost complete! 24 hour access is on the list and will be coming soon.. Many other amenities are in the works as well. A hair salon, juice bar and showers are in our plans. We want to be the best gym possible. We strive to help everyone get started and enjoy their workouts and make progress in all the areas of fitness they so choose. We are constantly working on bringing in better equipment and improving.. We work hard to keep things organized, clean and functional for our members. We do not train members but we do advise on how to safely use the equipment when asked. We strive for professional excellence and offer so much value in one location! Rather than reading reviews I highly recommend coming in and seeing for yourself what we offer as there seems to be some false information being circulated through unknown sources on social media about the gym. We want everyone to have a good experience in our gym. We do realize that it is impossible to please everyone but we sure will do our best to address all issues in the gym reasonably,ethically and as fairly as we can. A 7 day trial membership is available to anyone to check us out!Update: The gym is NOT closing! We are pressing on to accomplish all our intended goals. We’ll continue to grow and build a great gym community with a positive environment for everyone who would like to support and be a part of the adventure. We realize we can’t please everyone for many reasons and we are not focused on that. Our purpose is to be the best we can possibly be given our unique set of circumstances. We do provide filtered bottled water for our members to purchase. I also have a Pur container available upon request for no charge to members that are opposed to the city’s tap water. All members are informed of this. Members are always encouraged to bring their own supplies/ headphones and welcome to listen to any kind of music they choose. We do play a wide variety of music in the gym, sometimes it is turned off for different reasons none of which are meant to punish members or make them feel uncomfortable. I’d like to add we do not tolerate members who have childish tantrums when spoken to about business transactions, rules of the gym or accommodations. Members who throw credit cards, bully/ intimidate or make other members feel uncomfortable and/or cause fights/problems with other members and personnel in the gym will not be tolerated. Members that are continually late with payments after they choose the date(s) that are convenient for them to pay/upon having your payment declined when processed, this is not the way our business works. Members having absurd tantrums and posting malicious/ derogatory comments on social media to try to publicly sabotage/ humiliate/shame us for business decisions we make to run an efficient gym which accommodates all our members not just a select few, as well as our personal lives is not acceptable and will not be tolerated. It is a courtesy not a necessity that I decided to post the updated hours on my personal social media account. It had been posted in the gym for over 2 weeks already. I do not run the gym to make friendships with members! My look is not meant as a threat to members. I certainly try to smile/be nice to everyone who comes in. The 24 hour is still a consideration but not of significant importance at this time as membership does not reflect the need for it at this time.

Great gym has all ya need

I would recommend this gym only for the fact it has all the equipment you’ve seen on the internet and instagram videos. From bodybuilding to powerlifting, and even warrior ninja type training and strong man training, such amazing diversity there is to be had here - just think of the workouts you can create, not to mention the incorporation of bands into a workout to get the best pumps.I personally had a bad experience with the owners girl, not the owner. James is a wonderful man and has a great passion for bringing people together and wants to have everyone health and successful in their work out. I asked about the dress code before making my first official workout and was told my attire was allowed - something I always ask beforehand so I never have to worry about a violation. This is done out of respect, concern for time, and the concern of wardrobe budgeting as well.I’m making this review only because I would like to explain that if you are a woman working out here, you may feel degraded by the woman at the desk. I’ve had wonderful conversation with her in person and she seems very supportive of the owners endeavor to create the ultimate gym everyone can get their best workouts in, but when I was contacted from her on my personal social media from her personal social media account I was made to feel as if I was a distraction to members with the style of clothing I choose to wear, of which I’ve never received any complaints by anyone I’ve come into contact with. I was also made to feel as if I was only there to “flaunt” my hard work and jump in front of other members, and just considered an all around annoyance for all. The details she provided kept changing, but the overall theme was one of personal shaming and disregard.Do not let my one bad experience and the quick jumps of people who care about my personal well-being deter you from testing out the great equipment here. I would simply recommend you keep your head down, get your lift in, and go about your day like I had tried to do unsuccessfully.I have great respect for the owner; he tried to fix the situation quickly, which was greatly appreciated. I received great tips and kind words from him as well, but I feel as if me staying in this situation would cause more issues than I would like.AN UPDATE:I’ve had this review taken down by the woman who works there on facebook and yelp. multiple people who have posted reviews about the negative environment have had them taken down. my yelp account suspiciously “reported” and removed and everything that happened on facebook was deleted too. i’ve taken to google and the local news to show my displeasure of the situation.
