The jeep I rented from here has dog hair everywhere in the back. I didn’t realize it until I had to go in the back. Dogs aren’t even supposed to be in the cars for one and the car was given to me anyways without being cleaned. I called 30 mins before they closed today to let someone know and the boy put me on hold until they closed and hung up! So whatever man worked on 07/26/21 until closing YOU’RE the reason I made this post since you decided to hang up. I Will never come back again once the vehicle is returned 💯

About 3 weeks ago I spoke to the manager-about a car rental being reserved for April 5, we discussed a small Vehicle if possible when I arrived the Mask had to be put on 6 feet distance as well, when the manager looked up my information she’s stated all he had was SUV available, I reply can’t drive that size of vehicle, he found a smaller on. Which wasn’t ready I have to return the Sears don’t rise it’s extremely low, I don’t think the frustration, disappointed customer will use them again, they’d rude to customers nothing is ever ready on time we pay for this service is not free

Do not use ANY Hertz rental. We reserved a car for my husband when he got off the plane and they held him up for 3.5 hours! Then they would only accept cash and no debit cards. All Hertz locations are sleazy.

Easy booking, pick up, and drop off. The number goes straight to the store instead of a hotline in a different country (this happened with Enterprise) and everyone was polite, friendly, and helpful.

I made a reservation On a last Sunday for a business trip the following Friday. I got a phone call 11/2 he before pick up just to find out that they did not have the Vehicle available that I made reservations for. This is very unprofessional an put me behind 5 hrs for my trip. I will never attempt to rent from Hertz ever again

These people are so dishonest its absolutely shameful. I went to rent a car and thought the price seemed high in comparison to other car rental places so when I asked, I was told there is a $200 deposit that is returned to you when you return the car. Guess what, that was BS and I never seen the money. Those guys should be fired and I will never use Hertz again!!! DONT USE THESE UNETHICAL PEOPLE!!!

Me and my family planned a trip weeks/months prior unaware that they were gonna CHARGE 200$+ extra the day we tried to leave. No refunds for 8-10 business days, then on top of that they charged my mom TWICE. We didn’t even get the cars. Still don’t have any of the money we paid, got told it’s 160 to cancel for EACH CAR. We were Stressed out last minute trying to get to the place we spend well over 1000+ to vacation to. Then we’re on the phone struggling to get our money back . DONT RENT HERE EVER !!

NEVER USE THIS COMPANY. I turned a car back in and it was in perfect condition. A few months later I received an incident report saying I was responsible for a significant amount of damage to the front end. The documents were falsified and there were a bunch of discrepancies in their story and documents. We were able to easily prove that what they were saying was false, along with security camera footage from our house. What we believe happened is an employee damaged the vehicle after I turned it in and tried to blame it on us. This is despicable and the employee responsible should not have a job here anymore. We got lucky being able to prove the claim false but others may not get so lucky.

Go somewhere else, they actually gave us a car thats tags would expire on our trip and they to lo d us to take to a Hertz wherever we went and get new tags. On our vacation they wanted us to do their job. Then grumbled when we said give us a different vehicle.

If I could give a negative 5 stars I would.Brad (Wouldnt give me last name) at Longview Texas location was very rude and unprofessional.Didnt want to take my return even after I showed sim the contract.Kept being rude and asking me to stand further away from him.I will never use hertz again.Car had check engine light on and didnt run correctly also.

This was all around one of the worst experiences Ive ever had with a business. From the very start to the very end, every single detail was bad. First of all, they didnt have a mid-sized car even though thats what we had reserved. The smaller car was incredibly uncomfortable for me as I have a broken back and broken pelvis and really needed something bigger and more comfortable. We were told that they would call us as soon as a bigger car came in, but they never did and every time we called to ask about it, we were told that a larger car had never come in. The person we spoke with, I believe the same guy every time, was BEYOND unprofessional and rude in EVERY interaction we had. Our insurance company paid for the car for the first week and I extended the rental by one week, two times. Each time, the guy attempted to run my card before giving me a quote and before hearing any type of confirmation that I wanted to do it! I never did get a solid number for the cost and I VERY carefully explained that I wanted the charges put on a different card than was used for the deposit and even read off the numbers to him, both times that I extended the rental. However, a day after returning the rental, the card that I used for the deposit was charged an additional $400!! When I called to discuss the issue, the guy was yet again, very unprofessional as well as confrontational. I was refused a receipt when I asked for one multiple times and was even shoed away from the initial walk around with an I got you, yet I managed to point out a few dents that he missed. All around horrifying experience.

I checked in online this time and it really sped up the rental process. To be fair, last time I didnt and it was still fairly quick. And to me thats most important. I was in and out, for the pick up and the drop off. Minimal paperwork and they didnt ask me 10 million questions. No fast talking or miscellaneous charges. The first thing the gentleman asked when I got back was, how was it? And with sincerity I might add... Will definitely rent from them again next time.

First off very poor communication not too long after speaking they disappeared I never heard another word from them when they promised to respond earlier, and second: when engaging in conversation they dont listen to what you have to say. I wouldnt recommend doing business here.

The Longview office was dirty, carpets really need replaced and office needs updated, not pleasant to be in. The vehicles were also really dirty....... the one they gave me had not been vacuumed or washed, if it was they did a poor job of it. There was a hugh spider web in the front passenger seat. The gas tank was on empty, I had to put gas in it to use it. I was shown 3 vehicles, all dirty... will not be using them again..... Ill stick to Enterprise!

They’ll scam you into buying their insurance without telling you that your personal car insurance covers the rental. Don’t let them talk you into paying that extra $22 a day. What a waste. Also thought the car I was going to get would be comparable to the one I drive, but I was given a Chevy Malibu that stinks like cherry Tylenol in exchange for my Jeep Grand Cherokee. Will not ever use this place again. Go to Enterprise.

I reserved and paid in full for a mini van for our family vacation. I scheduled for it to be ready for pick up at 10am. We did not arrive until 11:30. When I picked it up, the associate asked if I needed him to wash the outside of it. I assumed it would have been cleaned before I arrived. By the time I arrived, I didnt have time to wait for him to take it somewhere to wash it. The van was filthy inside and out. It hadnt been vacuumed, there were several pieces of trash in it, sticky stuff all over the dash, and it smelled aweful!!! Oh and the power doors didnt work. Horrible horrible experience.

Sorry for the long post but please read this may help as a warning. My husband and I look at reviews all the time when trying something new to see other people experiences, we value the honesty, so I feel I should help others as well. My experience with hertz has been horrible now the agent Justin was very nice I will say that, but the cars have been dirty with the very few options you get to choose from, from the start. I give more chances because sometimes the first experience anything can happen, so I believe to try again well this was my final straw. I had to pick my husband up from Dallas Love Airport and I had to get the car which was all they had and I had this in reservation for over a week, the car was so filthy, well I was able to switch cars from the airport and got a nicer one I was ok so far because I wasnt out of any inconvenience until this happened, they charged my card when I picked up the car, charged my card when I switched cars and charged my card when I returned the car then I had to go through a hassle to get my money back. People may use hertz and thats your decision but be careful and pay attention to the charges especially at this location.

Were from Germany so we want to rent a car in longview. It was a nightmare. We do a reservation online. We diddnt became the car we thought that we get and the car was dirty too. And the customer service was awful. We cant understand him! Thats why we spend over 45 minutes in the store. And he diddnt try to explain anything for us. At the end we need to pay 80 $ extra for a car insurence we dont know. All in all we would never go back to hertz.

PLEAS DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS LOCATION! The day of pickup I called in advance to make sure vehicle was ready, not only did they NOT have a vehicle for me, but the attendant seem uninterested and put off that I was bothering him about other options. His idea of helping; he took down my contact info and said he would call me right back with an alternative, hours passed and nothing. Decided to cancel my reservation and take my business elsewhere. I’ve always had great airport pickup experiences with Hertz as our company uses them exclusively. This location gives the company a bad name with their terrible excuse for customer service.

They are rude and want me to put $100 or a debt/credit card upfront when the insurance company of the person that caused my wreck is taking care of it all. There’s only one person here both time I’ve came to try an get the rental car. The first time I had to wait about 25 minutes just for the guy to come out of the back and realize someone was there. I even raised my voice and knocked on the back door to try and get someone’s attention. The second time I tried to get my rental they wouldn’t expect my lawyer’s company credit card. They said the card had to be in my name. Be Aware & Do NOT Use this company.

Personally I think this is the worst hertz that I ever went to so far, so we reserved a suv and the website of hertz said 250$ to rent a suv and when we went there, there was the same exact suv that we wanted, they said that a other person reserved it first but we came first and wanted the same exact car that was on the website, but they gave us a a different suv that isnt in the same class as the one we wanted. When we returned the vehicle they added a lot of fees that we didnt know about and they also added a fuel fee but the gauge was at the same when we took it from them, so when we returned we had to pay 350$ because they added fees that we didnt know about they are scammers and just want money 💰 There was a guy was acting friendly and all but the other didnt have any respect to us. If you live in longview texas and want a rental car you should go to avis or enterprise or a better car rental area better than this one.

If you have another option for car rental...you should probably go with the other option. 4 phone calls and no one can tell you what is going on. I hate repeating myself but apparently Hertz loves to hear my voice and need to talk to me daily to confirm the rental. They want State Farm (my ins) to pay for it and I keep arguing with the guy “I am the claimant, I was hot by all All State customer. I am so irritated with these people. I told the rep that are “f’ing slow and I will end up going with Enterprise”. I am not getting an SUV but I am getting a full size car...yay Buick Lesabre here we come! I thought the vehicle was to be comparable to what I have. I shouldn’t have to suffer for someone else’s mistake!

I had to do an insurance claim. Called them talked to J*****. He told me that we could rent a truck for $30 thats what our insurance would spend a day. I said great. I drove all the way there just to find out it wasnt true it was going to be more. That was a waste of gas!!!!!!! Never again

Longview Tx Hertz on Spur 63, HORRIBLE, ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! Had a car wreck, stuck out of town and needed a vehicle close to home for work and it was a run-a-round from the start. Internet said they had plenty of vehicles available so I reserved one equivalent to my wrecked suv with an online price. Decided before my ride drove me 2 hrs back home to call and check on the rental I reserved online for Longview Hertz on Spur 63; making sure my rental was there. Longview hub on Spur 63 told me they had nothing. I explained I reserved one online because I had a car wreck and why am I being told one thing and calling to hear another. Where is the gap in communication? If hardware stores can keep up with every pc of lumber in their inventory then why cant car rental places keep up with their car inventory! Smh! Suddenly my online rental became available. Hmm! Told it would arrive in an hr. and my answer np I was 2 hrs away. I arrived to Spur 63 Hertz and ushered into a teeny tiny egg shape rental that was not my request online or by phone, not even close; and yet for the same rental fees. Again Hmm! Car shrank but fees did not. Though the one I reserved 2 hrs earlier was sitting on lot and available right before my very eyes but price jumped more per week. ($100-150 more). I voiced my concerns about the slight of hand tickery/scam and not happy about the tiny egg shape car and being unhappy thats not what the internet reserved for me nor the price. I was just in a head on collision the day before and did not want to be in a small car, I needed an suv or larger. (equvilant to my car or better, right. Thats what the ads say). Nothing changed. Sadly, I got 10 miles up the rd in that Easter egg and panic attic occured, which I never had before. That tiny car was loud and made me feel helpless and exposed (normal feeling after a car wreck). In addition it smelt like smoke which they denied ever happened. It was filthy, greasy kid prints everywhere, crumbs all over and in cup holder and cigarette ashes all over the dash. Feeling like it was my only option and having to drive again I drove off in the giant tic tac even though I needed a larger vehicle just to feel somewhat safer. Im disappointed Hertz said one thing, and did another, priced one fee and tried to charge much more, gave me a smaller car priced at a larger rental fee and George was aweful, cocky, gruff, loud spoken, impatient, heartless, argumentative and a liar with no regards to customer satisfaction. I brought car right back, demanded my card be refunded, and George just stood there mouth to the floor speechless, clueless, and unprofessional once again. I will never go back to Hertz on Spur 63 and plan to tell everyone about such poor service.

Insurance replacement, car was dirty, rental agent did not do a walk around with me. Took me 10 min to figure out how to open has tank door. Had too leave a credit card # with them, even for a insurance replacement. Six weeks later Hertz has changed my debt card for an additional $195.00! Do not trust them with your credit card numbers.
