We have lived here for about 8 months. We love how spacious the apartments are. It’s nice the apartment back up to the trail for an evening stroll. Morgan and London really makes you feel welcome and at home. Summer Brook is a clean, quiet, friendly place to live. I would recommend it to anyone young or old.

Ive been here for about 2 years and I knew as soon as I toured that I was going to nest and settle in here. I love being against the Borman Trail so I can walk with my dog. The staff is friendly, and communication with them is always timely. Maintenance requests are taken care of promptly. Most important: I feel safe. Overall- very pleased.

Summer Brooks was my very first apartment experience. The management is exceptional with efficient maintenance, courtesy calls, and dedication to excellence. I feel safe and at home at Summer Brook Apartments. I’m getting ready to move this year; going to miss living there. I’d give them more than 5 stars if I could.

I have lived here for a couple of weeks now and I absolutely love it. All of my neighbors are so friendly, the office staff is super nice and the grounds are kept immaculate. My dog and I appreciate the dog park so much and I feel completely safe here. It’s so quiet and peaceful.😌 I had some trouble with my a/c one day and they had it fixed within an hour!

I’ve been living at Summer Brook Apartments with my girlfriend and it’s an amazing and friendly place to live! London and Morgan are always making our stay here fun and engaging! Plus! There’s a beautiful hike trail right behind the property! We use it almost everyday!

The office staff is courteous and helpful and will listen to your wants and needs. the grounds are always kept clean. and there is not a place in Longview with a better pool and recreation area!!!!

I normally don’t like to give reviews until I’ve had the full experience, but if the business is exceptional, I’m happy to. I’ve learned that the biggest challenge in the apartment industry is customer service, but summer brook seems to have mastered it. Unlike previous experiences, They are not rude, (very polite I fact) and they are quick to fix problems. I was locked out of my apartment once and 3 minutes later they got me in. When I first moved in, there were things in the apartment that needed to be tended to. I expected it to take a few days but they had it done in hours. Their text line of communication is very efficient and if there is ever a problem, it is fixed with haste and a smile :) great price for what you get. Very nice apartment with no cosmetic or functional problems. I’m very pleased. Also very quiet. Thanks again!

Loved living here!! The maintenance team here responds timely and does a phenomenal job! The office staff are very knowledgeable and welcoming! Plenty of events throughout the year. Having direct access to the trail is just perfect.Brag time: They even hosted a cookout when the power was out for a week due to storms. Not everyone could afford to hole up in a hotel or pay for hot food. The attention to detail and hospitality is phenomenal for the cost of living there.

Although Ive only lived at Summer Brook for 7 months, I cant imagine living at another apartment complex! I feel extremely safe, and the location is PERFECT. Im just a few minutes away from everything and everyone in Longview! Maintenance tackles problems ASAP, too! My toilet wasnt flushing correctly a few weeks ago. I submitted a request that morning (about 8:00am) and came home a few hours later to it having already been fixed...very much appreciated! The staff members (maintenance included!) are very kind and friendly! I dont make my way to the clubhouse, but they are good about keeping the residents updated via text. They even wished me happy birthday!?!? How kind! Overall, the apartment complex is very well kept, and Ive never had any problems. It is a quiet place to live, and a very sweet community with residents of all ages who look out for each other! The rent is a little more than I originally planned on spending (Im SUPER frugal!), but I dont regret my decision one bit. It is totally worth it, as I love living here!

Of my 7 years of living in Longview, Ive lived in at least 6 different apartment complexes. Without a doubt Summer Brook is the best! Everything is well kept up and taken care of. The residents are friendly, the maintenance is great and the staff in the office are fantastic. I would definitely recommend to anyone on the fence about living here.

Summer Brook apartments is honestly the best place to live!! The apartments are absolutely beautiful. The staff is super nice and is always making sure we are okay. The environment is friendly, there’s no bad vibes here. I also feel very safe at night, there is always a police officer driving around late at night. I couldn’t ask for a better place to live than Summer Brook apartments!!

I lived at SB for 1 year and would highly recommend it to anyone. I had the privilege of renting a newly renovated apartment very close to the walking trail which was a huge selling point for me. I had a 2 bed/2 bath apartment which was very spacious and clean! My only experience with the maintenance staff was an issue with a garage door, but they were very quick to help.The office staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, specifically Lauren who I primarily communicated with. She was wonderful.I really cant complain about anything. I had a great experience there and definitely move back if I need an apartment in the future.

Summer Brook has been our home for almost two years. We absolutely love this complex. Our apartment has consistently felt like our private little sanctuary. The area is clean and well maintained. The entire staff is very friendly. Lauren is always willing to go above and beyond with anything we may need. She’s the best! The apartment has been maintained to our standards with no complaints or delays. This is the best experience I have had in the 10 years that I have been leasing apartments!

If I could I would give this apartment 10 stars. I am a new resident here who has been so impressed by the professionalism of the staff - everyone from Lauren and Tamika in the leasing office, to Jamie the maintenance guy. When I first moved in, my AC went out. I called the emergency line, and within 30 minutes had two portable units installed and a new unit the next day. I have lived in many upscale and overrated apartments in Dallas and this by far has been my best experience. I really cant say enough good things!

I’ve lived in these apartments for 3 years. The staff here have been great to work with. I’ve had the best neighbors throughout the years. I will be relocating but if I was to move back to Longview, I would move back no hesitation!

Tamanaca (manager) is super great! She worked with me during my move in and move out to make sure everything went smooth. She also was very understanding about me leaving a little early to move back home (out of town) to help my dad who had 2 strokes. Summer Brook is a nice, quiet, family-oriented complex. Staff takes care of you and knows who you are. I highly recommend Summer Brook if youre looking for a nice community!

Just moved into Summer Brook with my lovely wife and handsome cat and couldn’t be happier. We moved to Longview a year and a half ago and have lived at a couple of different places and can already say this is our favorite and will be our permanent home until we move away. The move was simple, the apartment is gorgeous and the staff was excellent to work with. Lauren helped us every step of the way and made our move a lot less complicated, Thank you.

Had a great experience moving in here! We were helped by Brenda and she bent over backwards to get me into a unit within the next day. I was thoroughly impressed. I also found a couple discrepancies in my new unit (which is normal for any apartment) and I submitted a service request, and it was fixed that day, and sometimes within the hour! That was awesome. Great customer service and friendly staff. Would recommend!

The office personnel was awesome!!! They made me feel like I was the only one that mattered!!! They genuinely cared about me as a person and wanted me and my family to know that they are available and can be counted on to go the extra mile. They had beautiful smiles and warm personalities that made you feel like you belong. They had our apartment over and beyond my expectations!! I thought I was going to have to clean top from bottom but to my surprise it was turned key and immaculate!! All I have to do is put my belongings in and enjoy my home!! Even the stove was clean like new and carpet too!! I am so happy that we have excellent customer service from the office personnel. Fabulous place to live. I have lived here with my two children for the past 3 years. The current management and maintenance team are friendly and extremely helpful. I enjoy being only a few steps away from Paul Boorman Trail as well as having a safe entrance from the property. This is a great place to meet new friends and share some fun times by the wonderful pool and grilling areas.

Watch out they will keep your deposit and claim that it goes to new carpet also a few months later they had a debt collector calling for more charges... do not rent hereYou guys kept my fiancé’s deposit and charged her 750 on top of that, we have called and called and no one can tell us why you charged the 750... you just keep saying we have to go look in the garage.. she worked out of town and barley used the apt you guys had no right to even keep the deposit she takes care of everything even if it’s not hers and left the apt in mint condition ..😡

Best apartment experience Ive ever had! The staff is always super friendly and helpful anytime you need something! By far the best resident relations team I have ever had! The apartments themselves are super clean and very well kept! The apartments are just the right size, not too small like traditional older apartments! One of the best parts is having direct access to the nature trails located directly behind the complex. If youre looking for a great place to live in a great neighborhood this is definitley the place for you!

They will try to over charge you on everything! No ones says or does the same thing. You will get different answers to every question you ask. When they have to fix something, they only put a band-aid on never truly fixings it for good. Always having to call them over and over again to fix the same problem. Way over priced for FAKE granite counter tops! Never ever rent from them. We cant EVER get a hold of Tamanaca, she will never call you back!! Your staff is horrible maybe you need new staff that knows what they are doing.

The office staff, neighbors, & maintenance staff are all so kind & courteous! Our dogs love the little dog park, & we love that Paul G Boorman Trail is right next door. The pool & outdoor areas are luxurious, the gym is well-maintained, & we just love living here! Also a HUGE shoutout goes out to our leasing agent, Lauren, for making the approval & move-in process an absolute breeze! We applied, were approved, & moved in, all in less than a month! Love, love, LOVE Lauren & Summerbrook!

This place is awful, I moved in with my boyfriend at the time, later on I signed to get off the lease . I was being physically abused and had to leave, my boyfriend later dies and they make me be held accountable for everything because apparently I was still on the lease because to get off the lease both parties had to sign . The apartments knew what was going on and knew that the cops were called out periodically. They did not care. They did not care that I was a victim of domestic violence, and they offered me no other alternative options . They didn’t even get into contact with me about this they just posted it on my credit report. Horrible people and horrible management .

Just moved into Summer Brook, and so far am loving it! The staff is very friendly and helpful, especially Lauren in the front office. My apartment is gorgeous with all new appliances and flooring. Its quiet and i love the pool area where there is plenty of seating and everything seems brand new. I also love that the Paul Boorman trail is accessable so i can easily take my pups on walks.

My husband and I have been living at SB well over two years and we both agree that it’s the best apartments we’ve ever lived at. Tamanaca and Lauren in the office make you feel so at home! They are more than willing to address any needs or concerns right when they come about. SB gives the feeling that you live in a tight-knitted community - not just a normal apartment complex. We have never encountered any rudeness from anyone on property and we absolutely love our neighbors! Our 2 bedroom is absolutely beautiful and at a prefect location near the walking trail! (Bonus for sure) If you ever have any needs in your unit their maintenance men are very professional and will quickly solve any problem you may have. They also keep the grounds very clean and nicely landscaped. The pool opens this Friday so we can’t wait to spend our summer at SB!

Just a warning for anybody considering living in these apartments. I have family living here and the management is AWFUL! If you have a problem they are very dismissive, argumentative, and rude! They also never have any “record” of anything, when you report a problem.

Oh my goodness! Summer Brook is the greatest place to live! I have been happy here and I feel so safe and taken care of. The maintenance crew is wonderful! The four times I have needed them they were there to help me either that day or the very next. The staff is always friendly and happy to see me. I shopped a lot before making a decision on where to live and Summer Brook is priced the best in Longview and has beautiful spacious rooms. I cant wait for summer because the pool is gorgeous! They have lovely blue lawn furniture and the sun shines on them and brightens them up as if to say, Come swim! There is also a place to grill and a pretty pergola to sit under. There are a lot of teachers that live here and I know I would be willing to tutor if your child needs the extra time on some skills they arent understanding. There is a walking/running/bicycle trail behind us, which includes more than 10 miles of path, including the Cargill, Akin, Guthrie, and Paul G. Boorman Trail. Lets go walking! Come on to Summer Brook you will be happy here. Tell em Brenda sent ya. : )

Very friendly and nice place to live for an affordable price

This apartment came highly recommended by several old tenants that loved the old management and maintenance crew. Theyre gone, so please take that into consideration when looking at older reviews.Everyone is nice, location is okay, apartment is fair, but Ive been waiting at least 3 weeks to get repairs done despite giving multiple in writing and phone call reminders to fix my apartment. They keep promising me when it will get fixed but never happens. Granted, they are short handed but at the same time, it is getting ridiculous. Ive been renting for over 15 years and never had to put in so many unanswered maintenance requests.The apartment says it is pet friendly, but there are few areas to get doggie poo bags and even then, they are usually empty or difficult to get them to dispense a bag. Be prepared to provide your own bags. A lot of nice dogs, but Ive noticed people are pretty bad about leashing their pets--and some are bad about picking up after them. Would not recommend wearing nice shoes. The areas where you can walk your dog are nice during the day, but at night, the security lights seem to randomly go on and off to where I am usually walking in the dark.Plus there are an unusual amount of frogs right now--not sure if thats the norm or if its because of the rain. Ive killed and crippled several while walking at night. There are that many on the sidewalk. Theyre impossible to avoid.Not a lot of trash bins. Be prepared for a walk to take out your trash. If you have dog poo, youll have to walk to a trash bin. There are no trash cans for dog waste anywhere on the property. There is one trash can in the pool area.The gym is okay if you are not serious about using a gym regularly. The cardio equipment looks new, but the treadmill is not of high quality. I got a gym membership at Parkeway and its very close to the complex.Parking is not the best depending on your apartment location. I broke down and paid for an assigned spot, but I have noticed there are very few parking spaces available in the evening and night for most buildings. Daytime parking is not an issue--lots of spots available from 8-5. If you work nights, this is a great place for you. If you work 8-5, you may want to consider paying the extra $20 for an assigned spot.Overall, this is definitely not the best place Ive rented but its not the worst. Given the price and recommendations, I am disappointed. I like the apartment layout and location, but there is too much that needs to be improved for me to ignore.
