Was there 3 months nothing got fixed, they only have one maintenance man, very poor quality apartments, management really sucks especially Chrystal cheated me out of $2,185,19 and they refused to pay me back. Changed management 4 times in 3 months. One manager was fired in less than 2 days because she told the truth about my money they took. Wouldn’t recommend anyone move there. Nothing but crooks.
From a former renter,Please do not live here.Apartment lay out is weird. We were promise a certain apartment for a certain price and a DAY before moving in they said it isn’t ready… no notice until a day before. They will never answer your calls or your requests.Maintenance will never get to you, maybe 1-3 weeks later. You will pay for gym, pool, etc. but you aren’t able to use any of it.Over all this place sucks.
Sales girl had no personality. And didnt seem to be a good salesperson for this complex. Maybe management should look into this js
I had a virtual tour scheduled last Friday and I never received the tour. I called the office last Friday and I was told it was one staff member working, so I will have the tour Saturday. I called the office multiple times this week and received no answer or call back. I am guessing they are not wanting new tenants, so I will just inquire elsewhere.
I live here, good place to live but writing a review just so Google leaves me alone
Great price, clean apartments and nice people working here. They are doing renovations. Im glad I found them!
Homegirl lives here. They pretty nice
Have been living here for quite a while with no issues.
Ive been trying to get in touch with management, because Ive been wanting to move into them..
I’ve live here for a few months now and I’m very happy with the professionalism from the office staff. They have been very helpful in answering any question I may have. I’ve only had one issue since I moved in and it was taken care of in less than 24 hours. I love the location. I would highly recommend Magnolia Pointe Apartments.
My brother is in the process of trying to move in at this location. So far its been easy, Ive been helping him since he works during their hours of operation. So far his application fee was around 25 dollars and deposit of 200. There is a move in special right now of 50% off 1st months rent and a rent reduction going on until August 16th, so trying to get him in before the special goes out. If or once he moves in I hope everything is smooth sailing after that. I have a friend that lives there also only thing she isnt happy with is if you are late with rent the fee goes up 200 dollars ( which I think is crazy but every apartment has their own rules)
I lived here for just under two years. The first year they refused to fix my air conditioning until I threatened to withhold rent. The apartment right next to mine had a ceiling that was completely caved in and I had all sorts of rodents, and even though theyre supposed to have pest control they dont come but every six months. Towards the end of my lease I fell behind on rent and they refused to do a payment plan with me, because of the kind of work I was in. Terrible experience. Not to mention when there is storms that blow down limbs maintenance takes about 3 weeks to clear it, better off going out on your own and cleaning it. Not to mention they will forward your calls to voicemail constantly
They need to step up their maintenance. Ive called several times about multiple things and they still havent taken care of the problems after almost 5 months
First off I would like to say that I have lived here for the past two years and my stay has been amazing. Every maintenance issue that I have had has been fixed right away. The location is convenient, never have to drive more than two miles to get anything I need. The pool is very nice in the summer time and the staff in the office is very friendly. The guy in the office (Brandon) is super nice and has always put my needs first. All around a great property to live at and I 10/10 recommend giving this place a try if you’re in search of a new apartment in Longview, TX.
The ladys up there are very professional, and very helpful, Id recommend any and all to get an apartment there and only there. Best service and extremely updated
Its quite pine tree School conveniencies
Worst apartments ever. A/C broke so called maintenance and they couldn’t fix it so they told me they’d be back in a week!!! they brought ONE window unit to cool the apartment which we put in the bedroom. they left the bathroom ceiling tiles and debris all over the bathroom blocking the toilet! a week later my tires get slashed and then two days later apartment gets robbed!!! (they came in through the window unit window!!!) NOT SAFE! HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT. DID NOTHING. TERRIBLE!!!
Them website saying they open 8.30 am she told me they open 9 .00 am if you call them never answer I left my cellphone number never call back air conditioner doesnt work I left the voice massage few time no one come to fix my air conditioner. Management no good . Last week I talked to the Manger about air conditioner no one came to fix . She doesnt care. Not only me evey other house have problems. No one come to fix .she doesnt know how to work in the office .
The property is nice and the manager is super nice
I have no words
They add diffrent fees say one price then add lawn care insurance fees okay then comes pest control water/trash which is supose to be included pool never open camt be because covid because playground is open it looms good till you stuck in the lease you see broken stuff diffrent prices
I have enjoyed living here, its staff is amazing and friendly. The community is kept clean. My apartment is spacious, and I love how it’s laid out. I have enjoyed living at Parkway Gardens! so much that Ive just renewed for another 12 months.
I love the property management and maintenance staff. They respond to your calls quickly, and they take care of your maintenance issues promptly. The maintenance staff is excellent at doing their job. I am thrilled to be part of Parkway Gardens family here. Thanks
Absolute worst management I’ve ever dealt with. Nearly impossible to get any direct answers to direct questions, never responds to email in a timely manner, loses paperwork and doesn’t know how to answer the phone. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place.
My family and I have lived at Parkway gardens for two few years and are pleased with management and maintenance! The maintenance staff have always been responsive and helpful. I would recommend living here. We are close to everything and in a great location.
This place is the worst rent experience I have had the displeasure of being in. They tried to change the lease agreement with my mom and upcharged her every way they could. It is outlined in the signed* agreement that there are no month to month pet fees. In the lease they tried to force down her throat in an effort to void the signed agreement, it outlined $20 per dog. She has 2 dogs and a service animal that she has to have. Even after refusing to sign a new agreement 3 months into the original lease, they went ahead and increased her monthly charges to reflect whatever changes they wanted. After many confrontations with office personnel on a monthly if not weekly basis in regards to this issue, no resolution has been made. The lease ends today and I have to say there are so many many more BIG issues regarding service where we will likely be pursuing legal action over. 1 of which is in regards to 4 full months without a dish washer and no explanation as to why even with weekly or daily confrontations over it. We have tried our best to communicate effectively with the office and its maintenance personnel both verbally and in writing to resolve our issues but it seems no one cares about anything but getting paid.Word to the wise,STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!
If you are looking for a nice, well kept and safe property then look no further than Parkway Gardens! I love this cute little community. The grounds are always kept nice and the staff is ultra friendly.
My family and I have lived here since 2015. We love it here!! The office staff is pleasant and genuinely cares for their residents. If things break orneed to be replaced, they are taken care of promptly. The complex is tranquil, and we have never had any issues with anything. We have lived in other apartment complexes, and after living here I will not live in another complex,
A great place to live for the price. Its convenient and the pool is very nice. Ive never had a problem with a resident, they all seem to be respectful.
Lived there 5 years, the maintenance team is very helpful and great..But when it was time to move out, I never received my deposit back..They kept giving me the me the run around and the corporate office never returned my calls..I cleaned up everything and didn’t damage anything, I was promised my deposit in 30 days after I moved..Never received it!! Be careful they will keep ur money..I’m very disappointed in them..
I have had a good experience thus far living at Parkway Gardens. The management is super nice and always responsive to my emails or any concerns I might have. I can’t think of a single complaint that I could list.
We love it here! One of the main reasons why we chose to live in Parkway Gardens was the beach pavilion, pool, and dog park. I must admit having two laundry facilities is wonderful.
I love My New Apartment! Thanks for your great customer service
Where to start?? The pool is super refreshing this time of year. I can let my fur baby play in the dog park. Im just a stone through away from Longview mall and Starbucks. I absolutely love living at Parkway Gardens.
The clubhouse is always a great place to hang out with friends and family. In the warmer months, I spend a lot of time at the pool. If you are looking for a place to relax during your off time I recommend Parkway Gardens.
Definitely not the leasing company you want to be with during a national crisis/pandemic. Ive had no help from them other than being told I have to pay something to even apply for an extension until the 20th, after which Id be responsible for rent and all the accrued late fees from the first. Ive been laid off from my waitress job thats been deemed nonessential since March 16th. They are not empathetic at all, just money hungry. I was still forced to make a decision on renewing when my lease expired last week despite having to bring in a note from my boss and his card that confirmed me bn laid off as well as my last week of work pay stub. After being coerced into paying 100 bucks out of my last check that was less than 400 to even get an extension, I was told that I couldnt pay by money order, like I usually do, but I had to pay online but I dont have a bank account. I was then told I could just walk into Walmart and use bill pay...except It wasnt that simple. I had to step out of line and call the office continuously just to get an email of my account number to use bill pay at Walmart, a step not mentioned to me when I talked to the same Male agent last week. Instead of being empathetic and providing all information and great customer service, they just sound nonchalant and easily get an attitude. This experience is terrible. Ive been getting one of the old agents mail to my house for my entire year lease. My a/c and heat unit got stuck on while blowing cold air to the point of having to turn the breaker off during temperatures of 30 degrees or lower. This happened 3 times despite the fact that the unit was on auto/heat and kept being fixed by the courtesy attendant who continued to tell me he didnt know whats wrong with it. The last time I saw him and mentioned it malfunctioning yet again he said something along the lines of This isnt the weather for running heat. THE TEMPERATURE HAD STILL BEEN IN THE 30S AT NIGHT! Iv been given misinformation about rent, late fees, how to pay and online fees from different agents. When I first moved here the company encouraged money orders and advised against online payments that cost 12 dollars and up to process but now that they have changed from PARKWAY GARDENS to MAGNOLIA POINTE they want you to pay online and there is a 10 dollar fee to pay with a money order. I cant even log into the new payment website as it tells me my information cant be found...IVE BEEN LIVING HERE FOR A YEAR!!! None of the original agents are still there, not even the one whose mail I still receive. Its just not a pleasant situation. Id avoid these apartments if at all possible. Now 4 months into my lease im getting a $20 gas bill despite never having a gas bill from them ever thats apparently justified by It because of the water heater. I like my actual apartment but loath the management and staff.. I definitely will not be renewing with these people if it can be avoided. Smh Update...I regrettably had to renew due to unforseen circumstances. They tried to to charge me 60 exyra dollars a month to renew because they are trying to get up to Market Value.THESE APARTMENTS ARE STILL TRASH THO! They dont fix anything. NOBODY gets back to you about your maintenance request not even the maintenance emergency calls that are supposed to be sent straight to a maintenance man. Nobody is ever in the office to answer the phone or maybe they just prefer to ignore the phones. The last time I saw the maintenance man he told me the other maintenance man quit and now he himself was looking for another job that pays him more. That was 3 months ago for the same problem im having an issue with again. When it rains the freakin sidewalks between the building flood/ become standing water for day and u have to walk in the grass just to get to ur apt or car.. They randomly pressure washed the doors with no notice and flooded my living room because there is a visible gap between my door and the frame at the bottom but they refuse to fix it...Like not even the staff like it here why would the tenants?
Run as far away as you can from this place!!!I honestly would not suggest moving in here. Anytime you have a maintenance issue and report it to the office staff it takes almost a month for anything to get done, they give you ZERO notice about property maintenance going on (currently my front door area is completely jackhammered up and not a single note was left by management letting me know this was going to be happening), the staff acts as if they can’t be bothered when you go in the office to ask a question, they never answer the phone when you try to call, since new management has been here last June we’ve been sprayed for pest maybe once and we’re paying for it every month in rent. I would say avoid this place like the plague
Maintenance is always prompt & courteous! All staff recognizes me by name. I love how they always carry such positive attitudes.
Priced to high for what you get..Maintenance come fast but does bad job
What a great neighborhood! Parkway Gardens is close to everything. The grounds are always kept nice. They have excellent office staff and maintenance. I would definitely recommend.
The staff and maintenance are absolutely amazing and helpful! The grounds are always well kept. I would recommend this place to anyone!
Everyone in the office is friendly along with the on site maintenance crew, who fix everything in a timely fashion and always smile and wave if they see you around the complex. The rates are affordable and the apartments are beautiful.
Came in and spoke with girl in the front. I think her name was Keshaun. She was nice and very informative. She took me on a tour of the property as well as showed me the 1 bedroom. The community seems so quiet and the apartment was really nice. I will be moving to Longview from Hattiesburg, Mississippi in February. I viewed at least 7 properties that day and out of them all coming here was like a breath of fresh air. Keshaun had a contagious smile and a great attitude from the time we walked in until the time we left. I will definitely be coming back to apply.
I am always greeted warmly by the staff. Living at Parkway Gardens is more than just apartment living, its a home. I get to live surrounded by friends.
I love living at Parkway Gardens! The office staff is courteous, and the maintenance team goes above and beyond. The pool and grounds are always kept clean.
A really good area with an affordable price!! The receptionist Alexandra Guerrero is amazing!! She is always smiling and she makes sure your living experience at parkway is Stress free. I will recommend these apartments just because of her!!!
Kept our 300 deposit because my fiancé had a misdemeanor & didn’t put it on his application.
I looked at a few different places in the Longview area and ultimately choose Parkway Gardens as my new home. I wanted a place to sit after work alone to unwind. My patio ( Im on the 1st floor) gives me the privacy I was looking for. If I want to interact with the neighbors the pool is always a great place to unwind also.
I have lived here for a while now and I can honestly say that Parkway Gardens looks the best it has in forever due to the renovating effort by management. Top notch all around.
This is the most unprofessionally run apartments ever. Their pool is supposed to be open every day except Monday for cleaning. The pool is supposed to be open by 10am, it never is. They start cleaning it every morning when it should be open already. The only time I can swim is before I go to work at 1pm. We have to bug them every day to get someone to open it.
Great property and excellent management. They have a pool and a playground. Parkway Gardens is a family oriented property that is clean and priced just right.
The staff is kind and courteous and have been very helpful when I have asked for anything. I love how everything I need is within 10 minutes away at the most.
My daughter lives here. Nice and clean. Seems to be a quiet property.
I lived here for over 2 years and liked it alot. If i hadnt moved out of the state, I wouldnt have left. Good management, maintenance. Clean, quiet complex..
I have been here fir approx 3 months and i could not have chosrn a better place to stay!!!
The staff really make this place feel like home, even though it is such a large community. The maintenance staff gets things done very quickly and efficiently.
We feel so safe in this complex! We even referred one of our friends to live here and they have loved it, as well.
The management who runs this place is the best weve seen manage an apartment! They are so professional and timely responding to issues.
Very nice at first, until you move out. Says youre in good standing and then files claims against you for $2500. Me and 2 other people I mentioned it to. Maybe everybody
The property always seems well maintained. Anytime I have an issue maintenance is quick to take care of it.
It is a great place. Definitely the best in the area. The amenities are clean and available for everyone.
Do NOT move here. My boyfriend & I lived here for about 3 months & I will never even consider this place again if it was the last place on earth. When I moved in the air wasn’t even working & cabinets weren’t shutting all the way. You have to pull the door completely shut because it just bounces right open because the door trim is dry rotted. The people in the office are a joke. The worst ladies I have ever dealt with. Very rude & fake it til you make it kind of people. Crystal is the only lady there that I ever liked to deal with because she tried to help you the best she could; she should’ve been the property manager, not Stephanie. Made requests for them to come fix a drawer several times & it never happened, made requests to come spray for bugs & it never happened. But once underneath my sink in the kitchen was flooding they actually came & fixed it, surprisingly. Rent was due on the 1st of each month & when we paid it only showed a balance of $24 so we paid it, not knowing what was up with it, that it was their mess up not ours. Then they wanted to send a letter in the mailbox after we had somebody take over our lease saying that we never paid rent and we had to vacate the apartment (THAT WE NO LONGER LIVE IN, NOR HAVE THE LEASE IN OUR NAME FOR OVER 2 WEEKS) & the rent balance wasn’t even correct. So when I called the office Ashley in particular began to tell me that the system was messed up for 10 days that we should’ve just came up to the office to pay it because online isn’t the only way to pay. BUT they couldn’t go around putting notes on the doors that the system was down or send out a call, email, or something letting tenants know. When myself work 2 jobs, my bf working & both of us not getting home until AFTER they’re closed it’s kinda hard to just go up there to pay it. Have tried to go to the office for a couple of things on saturdays because they say they are “open” that day. But when I get there the time they’re supposed to be open and wait 10+ minutes & no one ever shows up & doors are locked I guess they just open when it’s convient for them. TRASH.
Parkway Gardens is a pretty good place to live. Nice pool, recreation area, and a gym. All in all, amazing place to live.
I have lived here for two and a half years and would highly recommend Parkway Gardens to anyone. The staff is very professional and they get right on any and all maintenance.
It has a great community feel that I like. Not a bad place to call home.
Best place ever. Been here 8 months and love living on my own.
I finally got away after many expenses go next door or anywhere else trust me on this.
A lovely place to live and very peaceful. The staff is great
I really appreciated how quickly the maintenance guys fixed my disposal. I so appreciate how they keep up with an apartment complex as large as ours.
I loved this complex, I lived there for two years and hated to leave. The staff is exceptional and the maintenance team is knowledgeable!
Well worth the money!!! As far as I can see the best deal for an apartment in the area.
The management has always been courteous and helpful when I needed something.
The lobby, common area, and hallways are decorated nicely. Everything feels high class.
Great location and a great deal, plus they are constantly making improvements.
Very nice staff, maintenance men work to address any problem very quickly, a good place to live, and the location is great.
Best place to move in Longview. Friendly office and maintenance people.
Didn’t even move in or sign a lease and they kept our 300 dollars that THEY made us put down on the place before we could apply! then! when they raised the deposit from 300 to 800 and we couldn’t afford that with the first months rent and to move and turn on utilities, they said that they are keeping the 300 plus the 58 dollar application fees. DONT MOVE HERE!
This is the most unprofessionally run apartments ever. ( STAY AWAY FROM THIS NASTY PLACE )
Nice, clean property, and excellent customer service. I would recommend Parkway Gardens to anyone looking for an apartment in the Longview area.
The apartments are nice and the pool is always clean. I like it here.
The pool is huge!! The location is what brought me to Parkway Gardens, but the properties amenities has kept me. Ill be renewing my lease next month.
Not recommended about this place .I come to see the apartment they show me model apartment that’s look good .After I signing and pay to them everythingThat give me a key of apartmentWith no air conditioning ( they know about the problem before but they didn’t tell me that people that used to leave there before me just left because that problem ) the carpet was dirty and smell bad, the balcony was broke .The service in the place are very bad the mannager don’t really care about you as aclient They Didn’t fix the air conditioner. After a week that I call and complain every day . They just don’t careThey send a guy that don’t know what is really doing .After a weekI back from work, the air conditioner have bad lickThe roof fail and broke and I don’t want to image how danger it was . And again they don’t care .The solution was to take me out from the lease because they don’t want to move me for a different apartment.I tried to contact the owner of the complex and of course no one came back To my calls .Very disappointed. SorryIf someone want to see pictures you can contact me
Parkway Gardens Apartments has a very safe environment that allows anyone to feel welcomed.
So far all of these lovely lasts have been exactly the opposite of all the nasty things you board ass PPL have saidthe apt. Is very large compared to where I come from and affordable as well very clean so far I am love it here
I made a big mistake by moving into these apartments. Maintenance DOES NOT fix things and I hate dealing with the office staff. They leave much to be desired. Dont move here.
The leasing office is Terrible!!!!!!!!!My cealing has fallen in 3 times since I’ve been living here!It took them 3 weeks to come and fix it.That’s not even half of my bad experiences.
The fact that they allow pets is a plus, but there is also a spot for your little guy to get out and stretch his (or hers) legs. I am completely satisfied with my experience thus far at Parkway Gardens.
Please avoid this place
I stayed at Parkway Gardens for almost 11 years.it is a very nice place to live the staff werea really Pleasant bunch of folks.I I would live in Parkway Gardens again if I ever move back to Texas.
These are the absolute worst apartments in longview. DONT MOVE HERE!!!!! My a/c just went out for the 2nd time in 3 months and i have not had heat all year my bathroom ceiling tiles have fallen in twice along with numerous other problems that never get fixed and they are constantly loosing your rent payment.. I have had to show them reciepts 3 times showing them that i have paid my rent so they wouldnt evict me.
Micah was very friendly and helpful. A key factor when looking for an apartment
DONT LET THESE 4 OR 5 STARS REVIEWS LIE TO YOU LIKE THAT HONESTLY THEY NEED A NEGATIVE STARS!!!!! They have way pass crappy maintenance, never fixes anything. I lived there for over a year, had plenty stuff in apt that needed to fixed and told them over and over come fix my stuff. In a course of a year time frame, maintenance only came to house to so call fix stuff 3 times!!! Still didnt fix anything, having the same maintenance issues for a year and months. They have roaches and when i first moved in they said they didnt have anything. Tell why 2 roaches meet me at door like what you doing here. as soon as i walk in the door to inspect the apt. I told them im not going to be staying and paying yall if they couldnt get rid of them. A year goes by and still there were roaches, they only sent the pest guy once to my house within a year. Every month i spent almost $40-$55 a month extra buying cans of Raid roach spray to kill them myself. They wont say nothing to you when they getting their money on time and never fix or do the things that should doing. Wont show up to fix your stuff or anything when they get their money on time but let you not pay them on time, they be all at your door trying to get their rent money. Argue down about what they did, they will even lie to you in your face and you know they lying. There is so much more wrong with these apartments its crazy. For a whole month my building and two other building didnt have hot water...they waited 4 weeks to open up another vacant apt in a building that had hot water to have everybody that didnt have hot water to go shower. Not even considing how dangerous that really is. Theres more things but i dont have timw to put them all on here
No washer/ dryer connections yet we are being gouged on the water bill. $57.00 for Nov.., only 2 people in a 2/2 Apt. Moving out when lease is up. Very unfriendly office staff.😕
BUGS BUGS BUGS!The inside of the apartments is nice but the neighbors are rediculously loud and disrespectful when you ask them to be quite. We have had to file multiple noise complaints with the apartments and police, due to the lack of action from the apt complex. We will most definitely not be renewing our lease. And its a shame, we really like the location and our apartment :( but the residents are completely intolerable.UPDATE NOV 23, 2017:new office staff is RUDE! HUGE problem with bugs! A squirrel chewed a hole into our living room ceiling that took WEEKS to fix after alot of pestering them. Multiple times electric breakers have problems for hours.Unclean park.Dosent matter what hrs they claim to be open they are only open when its convenient for them. And FORGET trying to call them for anything. On more than one occasion I have called them 5+ times with no answer but they have their office doors open (when my babys napping)Problems with people dumping trash all around apartment property, extremely loud music all hours of day and night. Lots of people refuse to poop and scoop.Save yourself the trouble!
Ive lived in a lot of different places but this place is by far the worst and i could make a list of all the terrible things they do here but ill just make it easy and say YOU DONT WANT TO LIVE HERE! i cant wait for my lease to be up, and im not the only one! I should have just paid a little more instead of going the cheap route. this place SUCKS!
Nice affordable apartments. Maintenance comes typically the same day you report a problem.
I hated these apartments. Lexi the worker had her friends contact me in fb and threaten/harass me and my family they moved us into a infested apartment . My son fell through a termited wall and they did nothing . We were told by terminex that they were very aware of the situation bc they had to move the last tenant out and still decided to move us in w kids that have heart problems. When we called health code the workers got mad and started threatening us and had my husband ctd off the property. Do not move here Michelle the gm is very rude and is very ununprofessiol.
I live in parkway gardens and I hate it...they have poor staff Dnt fix anything always turning off water without letting ppl knw that live there..But they want there rent money on time but they Dnt do there jobs...cant wait to move...so Dnt live here
