Mimi did my nails. She was very nice & did everything I asked for. I got powder dip done. Im quite happy with the service with the exception of they put gel clear coat instead of the original Power Dip Clear Coat. I will insist next time for that. Gel ALWAYS scratches or comes off. Other than that I cannot complain.

Updated - try not to come in the late afternoons, parking it tough and they will be crowded.Good service and consistent

They’re always really nice and accommodating. I like how they try to and make sure the design is exactly how you want it and they will give input wether it’s a good idea or not. My Lee does a great pedicure!!It’s my new fav!! THANK YOUAND THEY WERE OPEN ON 4th of JULY!!

I enjoy coming here but they are rushed from time to time... I get it and I keep going back to support the business but I wish theyd say no or not right now and focus on who is there... but its business. And I cant complain cause my toes always looking good

It was pretty good. Due to a manicure emergency, it was my first time. Thankfully they are open all week. It was relatively quiet. The customers were friendly. The Staff were pretty friendly and very professional. They didnt mind me listening to my music. They were very informative about possible upcoming Covid re-closures. They didnt hard sell upgraded services (which is a turn-off for me). I can see myself returning to check-out their pedicure services.

Great nail salon. The only one Ill go to in Long Beach. They never make you wait long and are gentle and patient. Havent been in a few years and went back today and they remembered me. They have a great color selection and do a great job.

My nails are perfect from the shape to the color to the amount of time it took her to do it ! My feet feel amazing from the pedi. First time here and I loved it will be back again in two weeks for sure !

I call this my happy place... these ladys always take good care of me, my daughters, and even my boyfriend. Highly recommend this shop. Appointments are best but they take walk-ins. Pricing is reasonable, salon is clean, they have AC, & they provide refreshments.

It was different and I needed my nails done

I went today to get my nails done & the ladies there saw me and didn’t even acknowledge me. I started asking a question and still no acknowledgement until one of their clients pointed out that I’m talking to her. Then rudely turns around and said she can’t help me with no appointment. Very bad customer service.

Kim did my gel nails manicure. Julie my pedicure. . All I can say is you cannot beat the price,and the product and nail set machine are top notch. This may be my fav manicure I have had in Long Beach. I will check back in two weeks to tell you how they hold up.

For my first time at this nail salon I must say that my experience was very pleasant. I was in need of a pedicure and based on reviews Lily was the go to person. Unfortunately, due to it being Tuesday Lily was off. I still chose to press my luck and pay Colorful Nails a visit. After arriving around 4:40pm, I was seen a little after 5pm. I was told to pick my color and was seated and my pedicure was on the way. I was a bit nervous due too past experiences from Magnolia Nail Spa on Spring and Palo Verde, which both visits was a complete nightmare, and their prices were very high, with the quality of nail service not matching the price...(Kim and Kathy) are the worst. But Julie, she did an okay job, there were a couple of issues that I had to address. A regular pedicure was $15.00 which was great, I had been paying $18.00 or more. I also decided to have acrylic on both of my big toes and that was only $5.00 more not bad. In all I paid a total of $20.00. Had a great massage in the massage chair and Julie was very friendly and polite. The pedicure over all wasnt too bad, but the polish and the acrylic could have been much better. I think that Julie may need more training when it comes to appling acrylic to ones toes. Soon after my pedicure I had chipping, I returned for a second visit and I showed Julie the chipped toenail and she tried really hard to correct the situation only to make it worse. Another person had to come in and fix everything that was wrong. I still was treated very nice and was told to continue to come back, they will just make sure that Julie doesnt do my pedicures. I was also offered water while I enjoyed my pedicure, which was a complete added bonus. The only other negative that I would add is the parking lot was small and already full except but one parking space that I took with glee. Im a very picky person when it comes to my nails and feet, and Julie tried her very best on my pedicure. I will most definitely go back if only as a 2nd or 3rd option. I gave 5 stars because I was not happy with the finsined look of my toes, but someone else stepped in and made things right all while being nice and professional.

Today I went in for a pedicure before work this bald man did my makeup pedicure.NEVER EVER GO To Him, I Told him that I had acrylic on my big toes and if he could leave them very square and short for a natural look.he began soaking my feet in water a barbicide drop was placed into the water but not onto his tools.I asked him is he could please disinfect is tools with alcohol because it was obvious the barbicide at each station had never been used and was in its full strength based on the color.he went through the motions of shaping my nails.the I asked if he could nip my cuticles he then began drilling,then started to file my big to nails inward and crocket by then it was clear he was not going to do my nails the was I wanted them . On the right foot he left my acrylic veryyyyyy lumpy.then I told him that the acrylic was lumpy pointing it out he said “it’s on and began to polish over the lumps (I had white nail polish so everything showed soooo badddd) .by the time he was done I saw how he had left the corners and even half of my baby toe fully unpolished .I will definitely never return again
