I’ll never do business with this company again. I called earlier today to make an appointment. My appointment was booked for 230 pm. I come in at 230 pm letting the person know for my appt.He told me oh it’s not for 3 pm, and I told him no. I wait for about 5 minutes waiting patiently noticing they were both booked. I asked how long is it gonna take for my to get my haircut the Hispanic guy told me I’m not sure didn’t even apologize for the wait. I said I’m gonna cancel then. He didn’t apologize. Do me a favor next time you book someone for an appt make sure you’re keeping your word, communicating that their is a conflict. I won’t be doing business here again.

Great atmosphere! My kids and husband look great after they get their haircuts. Been going to this place for 9 years. My boys had their 1st hair cut at 6 months and they did great.

So the female barber was by far the best in the place cutting hair. The tattoo guy also looked he was really good based on what I saw. The other two dudes were ok but not the best. I had the female barber and her fade was very clean. Top 3 haircuts I’ve had and best female barber I’ve ever had. I recommend both the female and tattooed guy, you can’t miss him.

The only place Ill trust with my hair. A solid cut every time at a fair price. Dont listen to the guy that thinks theyre appointment only, theyre not. Its just that they *accept* appointments, and the shop has a solid customer base, so theyre often booked up. If they have time, theyll take walk ins, but dont count on it. Calling ahead is easy. Its well worth it for the quality of cut you get. Dont expect some prissy boutique experience, either. This is a real guys barber shop. Theres a little dust in the corners and a lot of quirky stuff on the walls to give the place character, and they dont have a theme or gimmick, but youll walk out with a good haircut every time.

I had an appointment with Ozzy, he never showed. One of the barbers took me after his customer. I showed him a pic and wanted a beard trim. I asked for a low n tight with a number 2 clipper and graduate to top. He used a zero or a 1. The beard went from 3 inches to a number 3 with clippers in 1 swipe. I got nothing I asked for. That was my 1st and last time there.

These guys a the best; Straight razor, Fades, Regular Boys Cut, they do them all.Jesse does an excellent job, loves his Lakers. Jack has a been around a while and cuts with great precisionWalk-ins are welcome, but be prepared for a wait, as these guys are frequently booked during all the popular times.

I’ve been coming here for a decade. The crew is great. They mostly take appointments so dropping in my not be a great idea.

The gentlemen at A-Barber Shop are awesome. This is my favorite place on Long Beach for a cut, and the quality is always top notch from any of the barbers.Four years later, and my thoughts on the quality still stand!

Barber asked me what I wanted and completely deviated and did what he wanted. Told him to keep it at least an inch long on the sides and he still buzzed it all. Only come here if you want your sides buzzed. I assume thats the only style they know how to do as everyone getting their hair cut had the same super short haircut.

I make my appointment for my boy and I with Jack. Theres never any confusion as to whose turn it is to get a haircut...appointments rock!!Speaking of Rock, it would be nice to hear some Rock N Roll while were waiting...

What kind of classic Barber Shop does appointment only and turns away customers?...apparently this one. To top it off the place was empty at the time. Not very good customer service and got the feeling they look down on customers. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.
