I never had a bad experience here. J AND J nails is the only pace to go. Good prices. Precise. Professional. They are soo nice. I always leave happy. Thanks you!
Very rushed service. I recieved a full set gel nails that only lasted a week before they started to break off on their own. The nails themselves were crooked and even though I mentioned that to the technician, they only fixed my index finger and seemed upset with me.. Also, no cuticle care which was unfortunate because my cuticles desperately needed some care. I did however enjoy my no chip pedicure, and my eyebrows turned out nice so I thank the lady who took care of those two services for me.
Went in for a manicure, my real nails are healthy, strong and long, I did a no chip manicure, they filed and shaved my nails down so thin they started chipping and breaking. So disappointed and would not recommend this place to anyone. they are so unprofessional and wanted to charge me to fix the problem they created …. Smh
Worst experience. Horrible. They ignore you when they dont have any answers. Would never come back. The wait time is too long. I got my nails done a day ago and it got messed up and they didnt care, they wanted us to wait for an hour when I wanted to fix it. We waited and they still told us to wait. We paid our money but they are not professional at all.
Normally I would rate this place 5 stars, but my experience yesterday was horrible. I went in with a picture for reference and was originally told they couldn’t do it. I appreciate my nail tech trying to anyways, after trying the design on one nail we saw it wasn’t going to happen. I told him I’d do a different design but wanted to stay relatively close to my inspiration picture. My nails came out looking not looking similar at all. They were crooked and lopsided and all over just not what I asked for. Then this morning when I woke up one of my nails was already starting to come up, and ended up falling off. It hasn’t even been 24 hours since my appointment. I’m very disappointed at the time and money I wasted and will be finding a new shop to go to.
Used to come this nail salon since 2016 when it called kiss nail, but the last owner wasn’t that good, so I stop for a bit. Now they have the new owner coming, and the name is changed to J & J Nails. They have so many new colors for no chip and dip, and everyone is friendly and professional, much better than before. I tried dip nail for the first time, I like it a lot, I use to get no chip nails but my nail is weak and always broke, with the dip nail on, I feel it much stronger than no chip. They also have a reward card for every time you visit, that’s every sweet, I’ll definitely come back!!!
I loved how they did my nails. it was fast and efficient. my design was kinda complicated but i loved how they came out. i’ve been getting my nails done here for a little more than a year now, and i can say that i needed to go back after being with my baby for 7 months now. Mommy time is always needed❤️
The nail stations are filthy with nail dust from former clients. I used hand sanitizer and paper towels to clean up while waiting for a nail tech to begin my fill in. The plastic dividers put up for Covid protection are horrendously dirty with spittle, nail dust, who knows what is growing on them. They have never been cleaned. Increased prices by over 30% in one jump. Time to look around....theres a nail salon in every strip mall.
Highly dissatisfied...got a no chip mani pedi and the nail tech said I was done before my nails even dried, which left brush marks on my nails. Would suggest trying a different place and keep this as last resort.
Manicure was okay but very light on the color shade. The nail tech did not handpaint design work on accent nail but put a sticker on instead. Wish techs could be more upfront if they cant do the design or do not have the time.
Very reasonable and great service!
Pursuing legal action against them they have no license from Illinois which is required. Report nail salons to the state of Illinois who does not have licenses!
Burned my foot with boiling hot water in tub for my pedicure and very rough. Terrible massage.
This place hasn’t changed in 10 years, actually it has gotten worse so dirty and dusty in there, the message chair was broken and hurt and my back, The people are friendly but the quality of service was very poor, The nail polish looked bumpy and the way she cut my nails was very uneven! I won’t go back!
I went in for a take off gel overlay and for a new set and they let my hands sit in acetone for 30 mins before even starting my manicure. My hands and nails were so dry. Two different workers had to do my nails because they were busy and couldn’t sit down and do them in one sitting. Very power time management.
This place was amazing, had a really good experience here. Nice environment and the people that work here are very friendly and will take good care of you. Even though the lady I had didnt talk to me much I was very relaxed. She always made sure I didnt need more drink and that the massage chair was feeling ok for me and made sure everything wasnt too hot for me. They charge an extra $5 for a French tip but its whatever. I really like that its cheap for a royal pedicure and they give you drinks!!Also, my nails have kept on for longer than most places. Theyre so popular you should get an appointment I was lucky the first time just walking in, but the nails last long enough to schedule an appointment.I love it and will be back again with more friends.
I like it because theyre not crowded, so for your pedicure youre spaced out. Not so much for your manicures. And I havent seen them clean the nail stations between clients. Lots of colors to choose from.
My girls and I got pedicures. The experience was good. We wore masks and so did the women that worked on us.
Good comfortable place nice people
I love this place. The friendliest staff. The best I had since I came here. Great service... on point
J&J NAILS is a great place to get your hands and feet done. They are outstanding in what they do. As far as Im concerned, they are the best Nail Salon in Lombard. If you have a chance, please try them. They are the Best!
I went in for a no chip main. I asked my nail tech to not cut or shorten my nails since Im trying to grow them out after having gel nails. Not only did he proceed to file them all down, then afterward he said my nails are really too short to do no chip and next time I should do a dip and its only a little bit more so its not a big deal. Lastly I asked for a matte finish, they said they could do it. At the end of my mani I asked if they were going to do the matte finish and he said he did. I asked why my nails were still shiny and then he just put some acetone on a paper towel and wiped my nail. There are so many matte products out there. I ended up buying a matte finish at cvs for 3.95 once I left and redid the finish. Not worth the $ or the hour I spent in there for a normal manicure.
I have been going to this salon about 6 months for no chip manis. It was called Kiss Nails then. My last visit was last week and my no chip started chipping after 5 days. But most concerning was the cleanliness. There were toenails on the floor around 4 of the pedicure chairs. The nail table I was at was gritty from sanding nails I guess and the lamps over the table was very dusty. I hope the new management will pay more attention to keeping things clean. I won’t be going back soon.
Jan did an amazing job as usual
Went in with my friend and we loved it . My pedi girl Kiki or Niki did an amazing job and took her time!
Probably the worst manicure I’ve ever had.
Comfortable clean
Love it, nice job & price is great
