Andrea is a miracle worker!! I was a natural blonde, and then she dyed my hair this beautiful red, and 2 years later i decided to go back to blonde and she did not disapoint. I definitely recommend her to anyone whos looking for a color change. Love her and the whole staff! Theyre very friendly and always make me feel welcome & beautiful. 😊❤
I went in here thinking they were able to help my hair when I got in I spoke to girl I would like a shadow roots and I understood it was going to be hard since my hair was bleached when she was putting the dark hair color on my roots I would say my blonde hair is getting dark color on it and she would say it would wash off when I got home I have patches on dark hair dye on my hair. Also my bottom hair on the left side is dark when it should be blonde. I had a good service she was nice but just my hair looks worse now.
Terrible experience. I spent $200 to get a balayage after being talked into it because I wanted highlights but the picture I showed her “wasn’t highlights”. They didn’t even blow dry my hair so I walked out with wet hair when it was 20 degrees outside. When it did dry there was no noticeable difference. My mom didn’t even notice I had gotten my hair done. I went back to get it fixed and they just kept saying I should have known there wasn’t going to be much difference. Even the manager said it to me. I would love a refund because I literally just wasted $200 on nothing but from the reviews that seems like a lost cause. I try not to be the person employees talk about but man they really tested me. They made me uncomfortable when I went back. I just wanted my money’s worth and I felt a little bullied there. I knew they were going to the back to talk about me and didn’t try to hide it. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else.
Wanted highlightsHad tons of picturesDecided on caramel onesFor 100.00 knowledge expertise - she knew I was not happy/didn’t offer to fix eitherDefinitely never coming backAll these reviews are absolutely ridiculous correctPeople now in days don’t have integrityPassion for their career- I mean they pay so much money for this type of work to do loosey workIf I had the ability to do no stars I would
LOVE this location. Christine is Fantastic. If I want something done, she lets me know if it can be done. If it can’t, she tells me why and suggests something close. A previous review said something that doesn’t make sense. Hair grows out. I think that person was being a bit over dramatic. Trust me, Christine knows her stuff. If that other reviewer didn’t like what she did, she could have complained to Christine as she was doing it. My guess is that she didn’t get a free hair cut out of the deal. Christine knows her stuff and knows my hair. S As a matter of fact, my next appointment is tomorrow. Can’t wait! Been going to her for 2 years. The only stylist I will let touch my hair.
Love love love Megan! Always upfront about expectations and price, she earned my business forever
Deborah is Great! Ive been going to her for years. She cuts & styles the best Ive had. I tried a few places a bit because its expensive, but no one cut my hair as well, so I went back. Her cut is gorgeous, it styles beautifully and lasts. And shes nice, too, lol! :-) I think the location is convenient also. Easy to find.
AVOID LESLIE AT ALL COSTS!This review is only for Leslie at Yorktown Center, Lombard, ILI have been here multiple times, and the experience totally depends on who does your hair cut. Leslie was horrible. Despite appointment and despite starting to work on my haircut, she took other request (some white lady who came after me) She dropped the job midway and walked to the other table. Also, the haircut was truly bad. I came home and washed my hair to find at least two places where the hair was longer than the rest. I had to use scissors myself. Cheap and super bad job.Perhaps shes racist. I just checked the review up here by someone Indian, and I am now more than convinced.Heres the thing: I pay her the same amount as anyone else, and I expect and deserve the same respect as everyone else. This lady needs to be fired!
Had an appointment at 2:30 and they did not get me in until 3:15. My hair cut was extremely quick and it was poorly done. Also found out after I got my hair cut that there would be a $10 up charge because I had longer hair. NEVER had that happen to me before. I will never go back there ever again.
Very high in price I got exactly what i wanted in JCP for half the price
I tried to go here to get a wash, blow dry, and flat iron and was turned away because the stylist doesn’t do men’s hair... My hair is longer than most women’s hair (past my shoulder blades) and I wanted possibly the simplest service but was turned away because I’m a boy. That’s a weird way to run a business to me.
I went here for a scheduled consultation, the hair color tech didn’t seem that excited to talk to me. She kept rolling her eyes and walking away from me. I’m not sure what I did that caused her to treat me in such a way.
Wow. I was amazed to see such negative reviews re this location. Ive been going there for 4+ years and Ive never had a bad experience. DeBorah is a Master Cutter and I am always satisfied with my cut.
If I could put less than one star, I would. The only thing this place is capable of is balayage. Spent just shy of $500 here for my sister and I. Walked out with our hair not looking any different than when we walked in. Aside from the $70 “haircut” of a two inch trim courtesy of Deborah. Collette pushed a balayage on my sister when it was merely a highlights situation and was overheard telling her assistant that even though they didn’t have the proper color available they would “just have to make it work”. Megan was nice and seemed to know what she was talking about. That didn’t pan out. I was also stuck with a balayage and the only difference from when I walked in is a darker root. Walked out with wet hair because they feel a blow dry is worth $50 on top of the $485 I’d already racked up from “simple color” and “balayage”. If there is a way to include before and after photos here, I will.My husband has been calling for a refund for 3 full days now with no response from management. It’s clear that they aren’t managed well from the ordeal that we’ve experienced thus far. I will not recommend Tricoci to anyone who asks. As a college student, girls are always conversing in regards to style and I have decided to point to my hair and suggest that they avoid Tricoci at all costs. They have a 100% satisfaction guarantee but refuse to refund money. I will not subject my hair to these people to “try again”. They have resorted to calling the police on claims of threat in attempts to keep from granting a refund.Don’t go to Tricoci. They’re a scam.
Depending on the person, it’s a hit or miss. I like Sharon, has a lot experience with cutting hair. The place overall is like taking a one day vacation which all girls need time and time again.
Excellent service!
Riana was great with my grand daughter.
Had a Mens Haircut with Leslie a few months ago. I had a 3pm appointment and ended up sitting in the waiting area for roughly 30 minutes. Typically I am offered a warm towel or a refreshment but this location did not offer me anything. I have been getting my haircut at Mario Tricoci Oakbrook for quite some time but decided to give this location a shot since it was closer to me.My haircut was rushed and the stylist used clippers for the majority of my cut which made me feel as if I was better off paying 10 bucks at a local super cutes or great clips. I would suggest you drive a few miles down the road to the Mario in Oakbrook. This location is quite small and located near the food court inside the mall.
This Mario Tricoci salon RUINED my hair for my wedding day. If I had known what they would do I wouldve gone to the hair cuttery (no offense hair cuttery) and saved over $50. I spent over a year growing out my hair. Then I came to this salon to get a trim before my wedding. I EXPLICITLY requested they ONLY trim the split ends and leave the length & even showed them (the picture on the left) the way my hair was to be styled for the big day. My stylist then hacked almost 9 inches off of my hair. I couldnt even stop her because she did it in giant chunks. Not only did she chop off half my hair, but she didnt even do any layering or texturing, there are just two defined awkward layers. It literally looks like I put my hair in a ponytail and chopped the end off, Ive even had people ask if I CUT MY HAIR MYSELF. While the $53.00 I spent was just insult to injury, no refund can fix this. But Im making this post so that no other bride-to-be gets a trim at this location. Ive been a loyal Mario Tricoci customer for years but I will never go back. Next time I want a haircut like this Ill just put on a blindfold and do it myself.
I made an appointment and discussed the style I wanted for my WEDDING! My day was specifically planned of course. I anxiously got there early and they said they didnt see the any appointment at anytime or any day.I will never forget the smiles when they said they were sorry. I hated for them to see my tears because they just kept smiling with raised eyebrows like I must be mistaken.
Professional. Clean, great
Love Deborah. She is awesome!
Ask for Kayla! She did an amazing job with a complete hair transformation.
I thought that Sport Clip worthless place I had mistake it’s not
Convenient location, easy to book, friendly girls, and Colette is the best!!!
I had the worst experience at this salon. My appointment ran super late. The hairstylist that did my hair, some blond girl, completely ruined my cut. I should have known better her hair was trash
I let the girl know step by step what I want n she did on my hair what she wants I really angry
My happy place
I worked at a different hair salon and we used to have to fix a lot of bad colors that came out of this salon.
Good
