The whole experience was so calming, I almost fell asleep… except I would have missed the Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives episode they had on 😂Kay is fantastic, and really assured my confidence walking in that I would get what I wanted. Lee was my artist and she is fantastic. I originally picked this salon because of the reviews but literally the BEST service I’ve ever received.Kay confirmed my appt when I booked, the week of, and the day of my appointment. I got a dip manicure and a pedicure. The lady who did my nails made sure my nails were perfect. She took her time and was very precise. My dip has lasted for 4 weeks before 2 nails chipped. I fixed the two nails with my at-home dip manicure kit and continue to rock them after 6 weeks!! They lasted twice as long as any other dip manicure I’ve ever received.My only concern is they didn’t use bags in the pedicure station for sanitary purposes; however, someone deep cleaned it immediately after I finished. The rest of the salon was extremely clean as well.

Ava Paige Nails is the best!! Kay has been doing my nails for years and she is absolutely amazing. She cares so much about her work and truly loves what she does. The same can be said of everyone who works with her. She always tries her best to get you in, including coming in early, staying late and coming in on her days off. She uses the best products, has more colors than you can even imagine, is up on all the new nail trends, and her salon is gorgeous!I have to take a minute to respond to a negative review left by Diane. I was actually in the salon during half of her and her daughters appointments and I can tell you the nail techs were jumping through hoops trying to make her happy even when it seemed nothing would. She complained about everything, at one point even arguing over two dollars. Finally Kay agreed to accept whatever she was willing to pay just to stop her from complaining and putting on a show in front of the other clients who came to a high-end nail salon for a little peace and relaxation.Just for the record, this is not a buy one get one free, everything is on sale type of nail salon. The prices are reasonable, but if you cant afford them, there are several salons lining Roosevelt Road that cater to a clientele who perhaps is accustomed to paying $20 for gel nails. I felt I had to speak up because it is hard enough to launch a new business without people writing unfounded negative reviews.

Ava Paige Nails in Lombard is a place where you can definitely feel pretty and pampered. The tech are very professional and prompt. The appointment times they give you are very accurate. If for some reason they are running late, you are notified by your tech to arrive maybe 15 minutes later. Never longer then that. I’ve never had a bad experience here. This is a very clean and classy place. The tech are all coordinated in the same colors. They make you feel at home as soon as you walk in the door. I’ve never had a bad experience here. I’ve been to a lot of nail salons but here they take care of their clients. No need for Latrice to look any further, I feel right at home at Ava Paige nails. I’ve made appointments with whatever tech was open and I have gotten good quality work from all of them. I will spread the word about Ava Paige Nails. You can’t go wrong walking in here. I walked in and haven’t walked in another nail shop since I started coming to Ava Paige Nails. Thanks to all the staff at Ava Paige Nails for a job well done.

Let me start by saying Kay does EXCELLENT work. Unfortunately, I am not able to leave 5 stars though because I have been trying to schedule an appointment with her for 2 weeks but she will not take my calls or return my texts, so today I called just to see if she would answer and she did not so I called from my work phone immediately after and she picked up right away, so I guess she really IS ignoring my calls for some reason. Not sure why, my few experiences with her have been very pleasant or at least I thought they were, but you never know peoples reasons for doing the things they do. Oh well, hopefully Ill find another nail tech that does as good of a job as Kay. UPDATE: I have to retract some of what I said....seems there may have been a misunderstanding. I was able to make an appointment after all and Kay did an amazing job as always.

Friendly, calm environment with excellent service. The technicians both took their time with my services (dip nails (with Kay the owner) and The Ava Paige Pedicure (another tech)). I never felt rushed and was treated very respectfully. The owner has a calming demeanor which I appreciate and I highly recommend this salon. It was my first time getting a Dip Manicure. Prices are regular-high but this is a top notch place! I will be back!

I was a walk-in and received my first dip nail treatment and it was amazing! Everyone was so friendly and courteous. They even stayed 20mins after closing to allow extra time for my nails to dry. Wonderful ladies here, absolutely returning. Had an amazing experience.

I went to this salon the other day and had such a great experience that I wanted to write a review. After reading through existing reviews, it seems like the only one-star reviews are from people who have never even been there. You came without an appointment and are mad because you couldnt be accommodated? Thats like going to a restaurant without a reservation and then giving the restaurant a one-star review because you you couldnt get a table. Grow up. This place is awesome! Its gorgeous, clean, the techs are so nice, their work is meticulous, and they have a bajillion colors to choose from. Is it THAT difficult to make an appointment? The best nail salon in the area in my opinion.

Ive been coming to this salon for over a year now for dip manicures. The manicure looks impeccable for 3 weeks and only looks bad then because of the growth of my nails after that long. I have gone to other salons and the dip only lasts a few days before its all scratched and looks bad. You will need an appointment so plan in advance but I promise it is worth it. I will never go to another salon! Kay and her team are the best :)

Went for the first time a few months ago, as my friend has been a long time customer. It was such a great experience that I will definitely be going back. The shop is very clean and modern, and the staff is super attentive. They dont rush you at all, will listen to your every concern, and really take the time to make you feel relaxed. Kay is amazing an has been doing my nails now for 3 years. Kay does such a great job they last 4 weeks (if I dont pick at them) but Kay is very accommodating. I have referred people to Kay and they love it. Its a great place of heaven to go to an relax, its not a production of get you in and get you out like other nail places, and have screaming kids and people, here its ZEN,... So do yourself a favor and go see Kay.

I absolutely can’t wait to give Ava Paige Nails more of my business! I had to get my nails done last minute and I contacted Kay, who told me that their appointments were full that day but she would let me know if there were no-shows. Sure enough she texted me and I was able to be squeezed in that night! The woman who did my nails was Lee and she was an absolute joy. She worked quickly but skillfully, and I couldn’t stop smiling the entire time at how wonderful my nails looked. Having appointments only really allows the staff to take their time and not rush their art. I will be returning!

I love my nails!!!! Got the mani pedi combo with no-chip, totally happy with how it turned out. As usual i called to schedule an appointment, Kay was very nice and accommodating. I have been going to Kay for @ 7 years. She is the best and I love her new place, Ava Paige Nails. What is amazing is that Kay is so great at what she does but also truly cares about her customers and what she does for them. Her attention to detail is like no other. I got a no chip french manicure from Kay and it lasted 5 weeks, until she took it off! I lived my normal life of dishes, laundry and cleaning toilets and my no chip lasted through it all. I had not intended to go for 5 weeks it just happened that way. My french pedi lasted that long too! Thank you Kay for the great work and care you have for your customers!

First time here and I really liked it. I made an appointment, based on previous reviews and had a standard pedicure and a dip manicure with a gel topcoat. Lee was wonderful, really pleasant...she happily explained the steps of the manicure to me as I had never done the dip before. She also offered to help me select a different toe polish color since it wasnt an exact match to the dip I had picked. I cant comment on wear time as its only been a day, but my nails look great. Its pricier than other nail places, but I feel the quality of the work was great. Food network on the tv and the other patrons were very pleasant, it was clear that they had been there before. If I had to offer any criticism is that offering a bottle of water or something would have been nice, or coffeeor tea for the price...I was all in for 70 bucks without tip, but so far the quality of the work warrants that. I will be back!

Eva Paige nail salon fixed the mess up that the other places mess up. I was more than pleased with my nails when I left and they have excellent customer service!

Ava Paige Nails is great! I’ve been coming here for several months now and have never been disappointed. Kay and her staff are terrific. I used to get gel nails; but I inquired about dip, and Kay took the time to send me a link to learn more and answer my questions before I booked an appointment to try this new method that’s working better for me. Amazing customer service! She’s so nice and polite, ensuring I’m happy with nail shape and length, listening to my specific nail challenges and providing helpful solutions. She’s also willing to experiment with different colors and techniques (e.g., chrome nails, and a no-chip combo of polishes we used on my toes that turned out very similar to OPI’s Pompeii Purple). Manis and pedis are even more of a treat here. It’s very clean, calm and welcoming. Although walk-ins are welcome, I recommend booking in advance (I’m typically on a 3-week cadence for my dip nails, and periodically schedule a pedi in, too).

The salon very clean and the employees are super friendly. They’re wel-knowledge also.Ps: The manager extremely nice and professional. she quizze me in and let me know when they run behind. That let me know they really care about my time. Definitely be back !

Ive been going to Kay since 2012. I wouldnt give my money to anyone else. She takes her time and does a beautiful job everytime!

They close at 7 pm and I arrive at 5:30pm. The minute they see me walk up to the door, the owner chooses to lock the door in my face! I came a week before at 6 pm and there was an hour left till they close, they refuse to take me in. This person is racist!

Seldom do I get a mani/pedi. Its been years! My nail tech did a lovely job. I have lots of ridges on my fingernails but she made them look beautiful. However, I had an issue with the nail colors matching. Apparently powder dip alters a color and subsequently will make toes and fingernail colors not match? Nevertheless, after expressing my concerns they worked on my nails helping me choose colors that would match. After some trial and error I am happy to report that I am satisfied with my mani/pedi. The grace, kindness and great patience of these lovely ladies really just makes me so happy! Thank you!

Kay, is Awesome with a capital A! Shes very sweet and very professional. Her place and work is always clean and organized. My husband and my 2 girls and I go there every August and get mani/pedis as an end of the summer treat. I followed her from Fedora Kate to Ava Paige...Kay is Awesome!!! We really literally only go there and we live like an hour away!! That is how far I would travel cuz shes just that gr8 and we always leave Kays with our hands and feet looking on Fleek 👍👍😍😍😍. Went there for the 1st time yesterday and asked prices she told me 40$ for me mani and pedi with a 5$ discount for first time. I also was getting my daughters done for prom showed her a picture she said they can do it and will charge me 40 with a 20% disc for prom. I left went to shop and came back. They did our nail while doing others that came in after us. We got there at 4 left at 7:15. There was only one person there when we arrived but i guess the other walk ins were more important. Anyways when they were done they said 60 for me i only got a reg mani by the way.. the I upgraded to gel for her and they 70 for her. So I ended up paying 130 all together plus my 8 yrs old got her nails polished they said 5 but ended up trying to charge 12$. It was embarrassing and I will never go there again. My daughters nails looked nothing like the picture but they said she had to get gel nails to make it look like it and didnt even make it look no where near close. My nails are messed up and I just got them done last night. I WILL NEVER GO AGAIN AND WOULDNT RECCOMEND ANYONE GOING HERE THEY LIE ABOUT PRICES!!
