I highly recommend this shop! Fernando and his team are great at what they do. I initially found this place from a Groupon for an alignment, but I ended up liking the service/honesty of the shop a lot, so I returned for brakes and a headlight replacement. I like how they don’t try to sell you stuff that you don’t need, they are very upfront and honest. They also provided me with an inspection sheet after my service, which I am definitely grateful for! My car feels so nice after the brakes were replaced, and I will be returning again for my AC repair as well. Definitely sticking with W auto!

My amazing friend referred me to this shop, and what a blessing it was to bring my car here! I was able to bring my parts to get my mirror reattached for the driver side, and Fernando did an amazing job to reattach it for a low price! Great place and I will refer people to come here to bring their cars in for their needs.

This is the best auto repair shop I have ever been. They do not try to sell you stuff you don’t need and do not gouge their prices. The customer service I have gotten here is better than any firestone or Pepe boys I have been at. This is a clean establishment with polite and professional mechanics. I would 100% recommend this place to anybody.

They literally rip you off and have no idea what theyre doing there. They treat everyone as if they dont have any car experience. Came in with my 2019 corolla for an alignment. They said the lower control arm was bad which it was not. Left with the alignment worse then I came in. You refunded my Groupon. The tie rods needed adjustments. Now do you remember ? No I do not have the wrong business

Not once, but twice this shop completely messed up my alignment. They set my camber wrong and it ended up destroying my front two tires with uneven wear. They took no responsibility and instead payed me my money back with cash from the register so that I would leave. I would absolutely never come here again or recommend this shop to anyone. Garbage

Used their services for a second time yesterday, and was completely satisfied. Fernando and Art are great communicators, they fix what is needed, and do so at a very fair price. In my prior visit, they fixed an annoying clicking sound from the rear of my car, with a simple solution. They take the time to inspect your car, without trying to sell you repair work that isnt critical. They respect customers that drive higher mileage cars, and treat your money as if it was there own. Ill be going back.

This is my 3rd time coming to shop. The first 2 times were ok. This 3rd time I was in for a wheel alignment. From time of getting there at 9:01 my car was in front of the shop at 9:40 finished. I’m not even sure if you can test drive and alignment the car properly in under 45 min. Regardless they didn’t give me a paper from the alignment stating how much it was or wasn’t off by. They said there printer was down. Even though they printed me out of a receipt. Car is still pulling and doesn’t feel properly aligned. Honesty not sure even sure they did anything besides drive my car and collect payment. Def won’t be coming back and won’t be recommending to anyone to come here. Please W Auto works if you can get in touch with me and email me a copy of the alignment report. Or have a manager call me. You have my info. I was in on 04/10/2021 9am appointment Toyota Prius.

Went here for a wheel alignment, NOTHING changed after leaving the shop. So I called them the other day and went back to them for re inspection, and I was abused, Yes! He was abusing, and told me that I am wasting his time. If you could have done your job right, I would have not wasted my time, money and gas to come to your shop for re inspection. I was informed that my tires are bad and that is causing a bad wheel alignment, I kept an eye on my tires after the wheel alignment and guess what, they are have uneven wear on the insides. Never come here for a wheel alignment, they have amateur workers and very rude staff. STAY AWAY!

I came in for a rotation of tires and an oil change. From start to finish to representative assisting me ( presumable the shop manager) was phenomenal.All the questions I had that where mechanical related the gentleman explained in great detail to answer my concerns and with a great amount of patience. They did extra work and didn’t want to charge me for their labor. I felt compelled in a positive manor to compensate them for their time.Overall great experience I certainly will return!

Was very happy with the attitude and friendliness of staff, though quality of work is a different story. I called due to a Groupon wheel alignment and was told don’t worry we will match the price, don’t buy it. Seemed fair enough. Got there and was treated very friendly. Told them I needed an alignment because I had replaced my tie rods, ball joints and sway bars. They took the suv and did the alignment. Afterwards they told me the alignment and suspension were good, but I needed new engine and trans mounts all around my suv and that my loose engine was causing sway when driving. I told them I could handle that myself and left. For over a week my suv steering progressively got worse with severe pull and bilateral sway at speeds over 40. Took my car into my personal mechanic and he told me everything looked great underneath, everything was tight and operating correctly but my alignment was way off. He asked if I had done the alignment myself. Told him I had not and that W had completed it. Took my car to another tire and auto center (recommended by my mechanic) for an alignment and they confirmed one tire was way off and that mounts were not the cause of the problem. In all fairness, they did confirm that mounts could be replaced....but were not the cause of tracking issue. They aligned it properly and the difference was night and day. Sooooo... best case scenario the guy that did my alignment at W was incompetent and misaligned my wheels OR the misalignment was done on purpose to solicit engine mount replacement $$$$.Sad to say, I will not be returning and will be moving any future wheel and tire work to the garage that just completed my alignment. Paid for a 4 wheel alignment and three weeks later had to pay for another alignment. Not asking for a refund or a credit, sometimes lessons are learned the hard way. Though, if a deal looks too good to be true, it’s probably not a deal.

I just moved out here recently and was looking for a reputable auto repair shop that services German vehicles ( i own a A4) and happen to come across W Auto Works. The pictures of the shop online are the EXACT same as online (no bait and switch) I was lucky to deal with Fernando, as his team made quick and CORRECT diagnostics. I didnt get that im going to gouge you on price feeling, especially seeing i had bad catalytic converters. I would recommend this shop to anybody out there.

Thank you W Auto Works for the great service on my vehicle. I came in thinking my only issue was that I needed an alignment. However, they explained and showed me that my vehicle also needed the lower control arms to be replaced in order to properly do the alignment. Although I could not get lower control arms replaced at the time, they still helped me with the alignment service. Im also very grateful that they checked to see if anything else needed to be done to maintain my car, and the new owner personally took the time to educate me and explain the situation.

Thank you to Fernando and his team for a great experience from the beginning until the end! Due to the fact that my steering wheel was very hard to turn, I was concerned and walked into W Auto Works without an appointment. I was greeted by Emily who told me she’d be happy to squeeze me in and have one of the technicians inspect my vehicle. She offered me water/coffee and turned on the Disney Channel for my son. After approximately 10 mins, a technician determined there was a major leak and a power steering pump was required to be replaced. Fernando, the owner, patiently answered all my questions and explained to me step by step the function of the power steering pump. He gave me the opportunity to discuss with my husband before proceeding and even offered for me to shop around, if desired. Respectful, professional, honest, and caring shop.

Love the service I received today at W Auto Works. I was heading out of town and wanted to get the squeaking noise in my brakes looked at before going out of state. Fernando, the new owner introduced himself and guaranteed a free inspection without any obligation.After the inspection, Kevin the technician showed me my cars brake pads and the condition of my rotors. He explained that my brake pads had about 10% of life left and recommend my rotors should to be replaced. I decided to get them both done and I was satisfied with the pricing since I knew it would be less expensive than taking it back to the dealer.Appreciate the quick turnaround especially with my kiddos waiting with me!

I came in for the first time and walked in to a smile and greeting! I was very surprised to receive a comfortable welcoming and able to walk in and ask what my dad needed for his car. I waited in the waiting room to watch tv and hot coffee to drink! Enjoyed my time here.

Guy who took care of me was very quiet and didnt have anything to say except well call you later lol but nice nonetheless. I rated 3 stars for the simple fact that they charged me 2 hours labor to replace a VERY accessible 20 rear brake line, yes it was rusty but this shouldnt have been a 2 hour issue. $280 should be for all the brake lines, what I had done was $150 job all day elsewhere. But anyway the job is done and it was done correctly

Took my car there for a wheel alignment. The mechanic recommended to replace all 4 tie rods because there was rust on them and could snap during the alignment process. The quote they gave me was for $724.21. I examined the tie rods and found very little rust on them. I declined to have them replaced, left, drove to Sears automotive where they performed the alignment with no problem. The mechanic there didnt even mention the tie rods being an issue. I will never return to W Auto Works again for any type of auto repair.

I brought in my car that was making funny noises, I was a little hesitant at first, but I was recommendedW Auto Works and was told it was under new management. The techs quickly diagnosed the issue and turns out I needed new wheel bearings and alignment. They quoted me a price which was a couple of hundred dollars less of what I assumed it was going to be. My car drives smooth now, like when it was new. So glad I went there. Il be bringing it there from now on for regular maintenance.

1st red flag - I called and inquired about using a Groupon. He replied, you can just come in its the same price in the store. Why would any business have a Groupon only to have the exact same price as in-store. 101 of pocketing money, I doubt if it would have been any paperwork or deleted.2nd red flag - I travel 17 miles only to arrive with a surprise $20 fee for inspection. He could explain this on the phone when we were talking about prices, but lets wheel him in first.3rd red flag - Of course if they find something you can use the $20 towards the repair. Of course they will find something LMAO, thats how the game works. Confident legit businesses offer free inspections and will tell you the truth to get repeat customers. But greed, it always shows itself.3rd red flag - How quick he took the keys quickly mumbled the $20 fee attempted to distract and proceeded to repair. Like used car salesman moving you past the important stuff so you can sign your name, get that money!4th red flag - The young one couldnt close the deal so the more experienced guy stepped in to try to explain the BS again. Of course he failed because I know when somebodys trying to take me for an idiot.Im 40 years old from the westside of Chicago, they must have assumed I was a non Street smart suburban lame. Actually, I was insulted that they tried to pull it.

I have used W Auto Works on 3 of my vehicles for 4 wheel alignments. Though their prices are competitive, there are many contingencies that not disclosed to the customer. There are extra charges for European vehicles even though it’s relatively the same process. I know this as I’ve been working on cars most of my adult life. The extra charge is not mentioned anywhere on Groupon which makes the purchase invalid.I recently gotten a four wheel alignment on my Lexus. I noticed the alignment was pulling to the right. I figured it was my tires that was throwing it off so I purchase new tires. Long behold it’s not the tires but indeed the alignment still being off. I called W Auto Works and explained my situation. They said since I purchased new tires this voided my warranty. I was never told purchasing new tires would void my warranty. I bought tires so I can give them the benefit of doubt. Clearly this company does not value their repeating customers.There are many alignment shops out there that also provide competitive prices. I would stay away from this one. I will never give business to this shop again.

I was referred to this place by my son. I brought in my truck as I was hearing a high pitched sound whenever I turned on the heater. Roger explained that the sound was coming from the fan/blower and needed to be replaced. I was in and out in about 1hr. Good job guys!

Always go to these guys for my alignment needs. It costs 30-50 bucks depending on what time of the year you go I think. I came here in 2017 and in 2019, Groupon price was 30 in 2017 and 50 in 2020. Each time guys where gentle with my boosted honda. Appreciate the effort went into it and where happy to say they worked on it. They also have water and tea in shop which is nice of you are waiting. Will continue to come to these guys over the years. Thanks for the support!

Great!..they took me right away....I had a Groupon for a 4 wheel alignment but, when they looked at my car they saw my outer tie-rode needed to be fixed 1st, they then took me to my car to show me what the problem was exactly. The tie-rode was loose, gave me price for the tie-rode and did both! They said my car would be done in about a hour and half, I was done within an hour! Even gave my a coupon for a free oil change!!!!Great customer service!!!!

Having always done my own work on my truck, I find it hard to trust shops when I need work I cant do myself. I took a chance on w autoworks and I am glad I did. I left with great work done and my bank account still intact.

I recently took my BMW 335d to W Autoworks for a water pump, thermostat, accessory belt, AC belt, and accessory belt pulley change. From start to finish the W Autoworks made the entire process transparent and answered all the questions I had. I normally do my own car maintenance however, do to the fair pricing and the professionalism demonstrated by the staff of this establishment I decided to give them a chance, and they delivered. I am very happy with their work and am planning on returning for my future automotive maintenance needs.Thank you guys for the awesome experience!

This place is really sketchy... I went in for a brake job and a front end alignment and like two hours later theyre calling me saying I need a bunch more done and its going to cost $900, and they wouldnt be able to do any work unless I get that done.... I told them you know what put my car back together and I will just go elsewhere. After about another 40 minutes the manager calls me and says you know what we dont need to do that other stuff we can just do the alignment and the breaks. If your receptionist would not force your customers into an uncomfortable position you would probably get more business... Definitely wont be back.

Firstly, their coffee machine didnt had any water. It almost seemed like they didnt want their customer to have coffee with their attitude. I had to wait for more than an hour for the service, which is fine. The bad part was that they did not provide me with a print out of alignment configuration done. When I asked the front desk, she handed me a print out of some other car..LOL. When I pointed that out, she went inside the garage, and after a while came back with a print out of a page thrown in the trash. I reviewed that and it was still not of my car. At this point, I didnt had time to go back and demand which I later thought I should, why not? I paid for the service, I deserve proper feedback and information about the work done.AND after all this, I still see the same issue of my car turning towards left as it was prior to alignment. If not 100% I expected it to be better, but no it wasnt. Just like other reviews, I guess Ill have to get a REAL alignment done on the wheels. Money wasted!I would never go to this place again. Really disappointed.

Papi (real name rosenburg, I guess the whole shop calls him that) did the head gasket and timing on my Honda and he was the sweetest tech ever. He walked me into the shop and showed me whatever was going on. I also recently went back for an oil change and felt super welcomed. They also have bomb coffee.

Biggest cheaters. Took the car for alignment, they said I need to have my wheel barrel replaced for 450$ when I declined they said they will not do the alignment and charged me $30 for inspection.

Recently took my Audi to get tires and alignment and also while there did regular maintenance all for a good price kept it under budget. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly!

New owner was welcoming, and the technician Kevin, was quick and thorough. Definitely will be going back and would recommend.

Amazing A1 service! Walked into this mechanic service and was greeted as I opened the door and offered donuts and coffee. Very clean shop had no worries about having them work on my BMW. Best Repair shop around ! From the first minute I called to get an estimate I knew this place was top notch. They were very professional, honest, and above all beat the price of a local chain brake shop. They even did it under the time estimated. As a women it is important to find a repair shop you can trust. W Auto works is your place. The best part of all of it, the waiting room was gorgeous ! It didnt even feel like a repair shop. Im a bit confused at the negative ratings. I purposely had my dealer check the car out before going to this shop. The master mechanic did pull me aside and said I need brakes showing me exactly why and when it should be done with a quote. When I was at the dealer, they said the exact same thing but quoted me $300 higher. His job is to tell you things he sees.

I brought in my crv as a previous shop had done the coolant flush and my car was overheating. The guys at W auto works used a special air evacuation tool to make sure that no air bubbles remained in the system. Its been 2 weeks since this work was carried out and all is back to normal. Thank you!

Went in for an alignment on my car and requested custom alignment settings and they said no problem! My car is low so I was worried about them getting it onto the rack. They made the needed accommodations and my car go on and off just find without any damage.

Every time I come here I usuall wait at least 3hrs, the price for alignment is great, but the wait time is really long.

I visited W Autoworks as I was having car problems. My car headlights would go very dim after driving a couple of miles. I visited other shops and they wanted to charge me to have the alternator and battery replaced (the battery was replaced less than 6 months ago), likely overselling as I am a woman without car knowledge. W Autoworks inspected my car and after some testing recommended that I only change my alternator. I appreciate W Autoworks quality and honest work and can wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone.

W AUTOWORK is not an honest shop, My car running very good,I just changed four new tires, I called W AUTOWORK to make a alignment appointment, they just drove my car into the garage, but they said I must to change the value of $600 The lower control arms plus labor. if I do not change them,no service for me,they will charge a $30 check fee. I paid 30 dollars, then went to dealer. After check, mechanic telling me he 100% sure there is no problem with the car suspention ..There is only some rust because the Chicago winter will spread salt and remove snow, it does not affect the function.Just need to do a simple all wheel alignment after change new tire. Completely scam. Be ware!!!
