Ive been taking my cars to John for about twenty years now.Hes the most honest person and the best mechanic Ive ever seen.The shop could be pretty busy sometimes and you would have to wait for a while, but this is because they are very popular!
Ive been having my vehicles worked on here for many years now And I find it aggravating to read some of the poor reviews That others have written. John, the owner of the shop, has Always been upfront and honest. I have personally recommended Over a dozen people to him and not one of them has ever had a complaint and they all still use his service. The labor prices Have always been cheaper than anyone else Ive been to With the exception of a few shade tree mechanics. Like any business once in a while there can be some issues, But the ones Ive experienced have been pretty small and cars and trucks has always been quick to rectify them. This is truly one of the last great automotive services Left!
They dont know what they are doing. Go there, and waste time and money.I went there to fix my Engine light On. They initially told me that oxygen sensor is gone and charged me 170 dollars. Next day again Engine Light again back. I again went there and this time they told me its not sensor its car computer problem, so go to Toyota service. Later I found that they put duplicate/wrong sensor and asked them either to refund money or put the original one. I again came back to them and guys told me they will purchase original one and will call me, one they will receive it. For next two weeks they didnt call me and I again went to their workshop and they told me t will take one more week. In this way, I had already spend one month, and on every visit I had to wait 1-2 hours. They told me they put original one from Toyota this time. However, next day again that light came back. Since, I work during weekday and come back home after 6 pm, and they close their workshop at 5 PM, so I need to wait whole week to go to their workshop and politely tell them that light is back. This scene went on for total 1.5 monthsToday, (1.5 month has passed) when I visited that light is third time back, now they started fighting me. I called owner, and told him that for 6 weeks I am coming to your workshop and still problem is same, he started harassing me and misbehaving me. I told Sir very politely I am requesting you fix my problem or refund my money., but he refused.Now, the rude owner told me they need to change change fuel injector. I told how did they know that it is fuel injector and why you changed then o2 sensor. He told that he called to Toyota, and Toyota care is telling change now fuel injector. I asked how come Toyota care knows that this car has this specific problem even without inspecting or even without seeing it. They told they dont know but they discussed with Toyota department. Owner told me that he will not refund money. He wanted to do more experiments and for that he needs money.My humble request is if somebody go there and want to fix car, make sure you kind of write an agreement to save your money and respect. I finally told please give my car key back and I dont want to do anything from you.
John is an honest and fair businessman. Sandy at the front desk is a doll and together they run a great establishment! ! Ive been taking my cars and suv here for years and every experience has been great. I also refer him to all my family and friends of whom many are regular customers now.

Hi guys I went there for oil change but this guys said the y r on lunch, so I waited for hours when went and saw they were doing something with the wheels and asked them what going ont,he was hesitant and I he was checking air pressure,but I am sure they have changeds original part of my vehicle,so I highly recommend not to go there for any work even if it is a good price deal or else u make sure they do it in front of u

Excellent service. Low prices. Will fix what needs to get fixed, will not try to take advantage of you. If your in a bind and need a temporary solution they are willing to help you out. Ive been taking my cars in there for over 15 years now since they were in Downers Grove. I refer all of my friends and family to John. Thanks a million guys!

Worst Customer Service. They have no idea about how to fix the Cars and charge an arm and a leg.There was a leak in antifreeze coolant of my van. They fixed it and charged me $175. It started leaking again. They fixed the whole in the pipe and charged me $ 200. Third time, I was in the middle of the road. My car heated up and turned off as it was leaking antifreeze again. I bought the antifreeze from near gas station and my car wouldnt start. I had to Tow it to them since it was the same underlying problem. Ultimately, the starter got burnt. I bought the starter for $125 and they charged me $ 90 to put it in. After all that when I inquire why is keep happening, they are mad at me saying that they dont want my business.Worst Experience. Never going there again and dont recommend this place at all.
A hell of a lot cheaper than other mechanics without compromising quality. Ive never had any problems with any of the work that has been done on my car here

These guys are discusting...they dont know how to deal with cus... even they dont want to listen what the cus is asking.....I was regular cus with my 3 cars..what they dont care.....I dont want to go again here this worst cus dealing place.....
