They literally seen my windshield was broken and refused to try and fix it. They wanted to say it was like that and it was never like that! I can’t believe how a company wouldn’t even try to fix or help pay for the damage. They had seen the damage and clearly wanted to make me feel stupid but they failed .

This place was great. Until they got their fancy new equipment. Not it costs 50 dollars to wash a pickup. What a joke.

I went there to wash my car..terrible job..paid $30 for my wash and specifically asked the girl to vacuum my car well considering they did a bad job the time before that and I went back for another chance and again it was terrible..my son spilled soda on the back door, everything was still sticky and nasty..they charge an arm and leg for a wash and I couldve done it better myself. Not impressed at all. The workers get people in and out and do a terrible job 👎

I’ve been too Ellis a couple times and get the basic stuff (which is pretty good), but yesterday I went in for a detail and they didn’t detail it. I paid $85 and they just didn’t detail my car... theres hand prints on the glass, dirt on my steering wheel, and dust on the dash. So they just didn’t do anything.The place is good for a basic clean, but don’t go here for anything else

This wasnt the best experience in terms of quality car wash.In regards to exterior, the vehicle was clean. Heavy salt and dirt from the long road trip were gone. Not many spots were missed, if any at all. The same cant be said for any exterior coatings. Especially trim dressings. So many spots on trim were missed. Extreme amounts of excess product were left to drip down the chrome leaving stains.The tires only had a few spots someone could nitpick and were rather shiny and well dressed. The dressing, however, did cause some sling after driving.Windows were nearly spotless. Very well done.Moving on to interior, this is were they really dropped the ball. Dirt and dust all over the seats. Inside door jambs were not cleaned. A quick wipe down of the arm instantly dirtied my rag. Floor mats were hardly vacuumed. Dash had clear spots they missed. They did vacuum under floor mats pretty well.In all, I spent over an hour finishing up the job and getting the truck to an acceptable level.The interior of the building and the waiting rooms were nice. The place uses decent Meguiars products. The washes are fairly cheap and they can get the job done in a pinch, but dont expect it to be clean. They rush the job trying to crank out as many as possible. It doesnt seem like clean is actually in their best interest.

IT WAS A PRETTY GOOD WASH JOB AND DETAILED JOB INSIDE AND OUTSIDE OF MY RAM 2500 FOUR WHEEL DRIVE. WHEELS AND TIRES WERE BOTH CLEANED REALLY WELL AND THEY ALSO DID A NICE JOB ON ALL OF THE WINDOWS INSIDE AND OUTSIDE THERE WERE NO STREAKS AND NO SPOTS WERE MISSED! I WILL BE RETURNING FOR MORE VEHICLE WASHES!

I took my car in to Ellis today around 1 p.m. and wanted to tell someone that this was the best car wash Ive ever had here or anywhere. The young lady that was doing my windshield from the inside did an amazing job. I keep my car inside a garage so it never gets very dirty. This young lady must have gotten out of the car no fewer than 5 times to wipe the outside then back again to do the inside. The car looks spotless, wonderful job!!!

Today it took me over an hour after paying for the service. The people were friendly enough but my car needed re-vacuuming and console needed cleaned. Need better attention to detail.

I was excited to finally wash my truck after so long. I decided to go to this car wash expecting a beautiful clean truck but instead I was denied service because apparently the new owner doesn’t allow trucks to be washed past 11 am because it gets busy and holds up the line of cars waiting to be washed, but there was no cars behind us or even coming . And what was also funny and frustrating was that they allowed another ram to be washed and yet denied us service . I am absolutely infuriated because this is so upsetting . Never again will I even consider coming here. I’m sorry that I have things to do before 11 am and thank you for discriminating my truck.

I paid the basic $20.00 option and I was satisfied with the result. I always clean my car myself to save money but I really didnt feel like using an hour and a half to vacuum, spray, wipe, and dust my car, so I tried this service and Im content. Thanks guys.

Paid for the works in order to get rims/tires cleaned and to say it was 1/2 done is being generous. The wait was over an hour for 5 cars, most of it was my car sitting waiting for someone to tend to it. They unlocked my side mirrors and changed the angles. NEVER AGAIN!

I use this car wash on an almost weekly schedule and they do a great job. Today was different for some reason. Foe the first time I left disappointed. They finished my truck while I answered some emails for work. It seems they completely forgot to do the drivers side.of my truck. Because they have done a good job in the past, I let it go. I wont do that again.

I was hesitant to try this place after reading the reviews, but was encouraged by my sister who comes here often and has always had good experiences.Upon receiving my keys I was handed a piece of metal and informed that I needed to glue it. I was confused until I realized that my windshield rear view mirror had been broken off, and I had been handed the attachment that connects the mirror to my windshield.My trunk still had dirt on the exterior, and the interior still needs further vacuuming and a wipe down. I found the pieces of half of my license plate frame broken off and placed inside of the car. Extremely disappointed and will never return.

Great job, cost is so good for the all hand wash. If you wanna complain wash your own car yourself then judge what they do. One of the few washes left that detail inside and out with admiral ir whatever that great stuff is.

Worst car wash Ive ever had. I waited 35 minutes just to receive a car that was only half clean. They barely vacuumed the car, there was dirt on my floor mats, the door jams were filthy, the bottom panel of the car wasnt washed at all and the interior was barely wiped down. Ive been going to Ellis for years and their service has rapidly declined over the past years. I will never take another car there again. Its sad to see a once good business become a place that I will never return to again.

I waited for an hour and 25 minutes for my car to be washed. Thats enough not to make me want to return ... But then i bought the $29.95 wash and the top of my car was still dirty. When i called and spoke with the person in charge that day she was nice enough to offer to have me bring it in again at no charge. When i brought it back not only did the manager say on hour and a hald was an average time to wait he also just gave me the cheapest wash and vacuum. Disappointed again.

I wish they would carry size 5 in shoes instead of all the large an extra large I wear a small but cannot find them

Words cant describe how disappointed I am. To pay $30 for a half clean car with mud all over the outside still is pathetic. We have been going there for years and always had great experiences but something has changed in the last few months. There is dirt everywhere inside still and the spots they did manage to wipe down are now covered in lint from their towels. My windows are still disgusting and the inside looks like it wasnt even touch. Do not waste your money.

I got my car washed today and it still has dirt marks outside and dirt on the inside also.. trash is still in the back seat and I told them EVERYTHING is trash.. I’ll NEVER return

I go in to have my truck washed, I pay the asking price,and what do I get for my hard earned money ? A half cleaned wash job, I called to complain was told to bring it back in and they would do it over, if the employees werent in such a hurry to get off work, it might have been done the first time. I would give the a permanent day off plus ! To the owner ! This is the second time this has happened to me, sorry !!! I will not be back, lot of other carwash businesses that want my money.

I love the fact that this is totally done by hand. I was impressed with how thorough they were on doing the wash, but as others have mentioned they are indeed a bit slow. We stopped in while on a road trip to get rid of all the nasty little critters building up on the grill and windshield so we did external only car wash. I would come back if in the area, but not if I was in a hurry.

I called 2 times in the past 2 weeks to ask about the detailing and they told me that I could bring my car any day just before 2pm because they take from 2 to 3 hours to clean it. I arrived at 12:35 pm to be exact and the MANAGER HECTOR told me that he couldnt do it because it was suppose to rain today. I argued with him about 15 mins and told him that it was NOT RAINING!!! his last words were YOU CANT GUARANTEE ME THAT IS NOT GONNA RAIN IN 3 MINUTES . I been taking my car there for some time now and this was so disappointing and disrespectful! So was defenectly my last time going to this place!!!

Born and raised here in Lodi so its the only car wash that I know of though I moved away for a while after my husband passed, that is still hand dried and detail work is done to my specifications. I wish that they had a bigger discount for Tuesdays and Thursdays which are senior discounts though Im not 65 someplace to start at 50 and 55, Etc. Its only a $1 discount and when they raised their prices $22 Car Wash 21.95 or something like that got everything clean again to my specifications the price now has reached a nickel shot of $30. And if that money goes to the employees I dont have a problem with that, because I always tip them anyway since they share their tips. Bunch of great people that work there and if you have a problem you tell do it again and they will half their bottom. Ive been taking my vehicles to Ellis since I was a teenager but then I got into detailing custom bikes list all the chrome, now, Im unable to reach the highest areas of vehicle, maybe some other seniors out there can rally with me and ask that the senior discount the a little bit more than just $1! Id rather give the dollar to the workers. They do a good job but thats why I left one star off no good senior discount, no AAA discount no military discount. Come on Ellis, you can do better than that show your loyal customers that have been coming to you and patronising your business for decades show us some love give us some more discounts! Usually have pretty good service here, but today I went and and got the works which usually they dont miss much. Well when i drove off i realized part of windshield was still wet and still dirty. My fault for not checking that, but still. Then they usually wipe down the interior of the car, they left a big spot that a drink must have spilled and still a sticky mess....

A little bit pricey. But the service and courtesy are first class.

For their high prices they don’t do that very thorough of a job. Still had spots all over my windows and the carpets were still not that clean. A drive through wash will do a better job.

Sad because I love this place, but the last 2 times I have been here, Ive paid for the service that is supposed to clean the rims inky to get home and realize they werent cleaned just brushed over real fast. Majorly disappointing to me because that is the most important part and the main reason I brought it here instead of doing it myself.

They do a good job! Since its an assembly line, they are conditioned to do certain tasks. I gave them instructions to NOT do the interior (my wife shampood the carpet and detailed the interior earlier that day. I had to be on them at every stage to keep them from working on the interior. They just could not fathom why someone wouldnt want the interior done. Other than that, they do a pretty good job. Not as good as Canepas in Stockton though.

I use to go there alot i stopd going 3 years ago. Use to pay for the max wash they would never wipe down the dash never vacuum righte always somthing wrong i tried goin there again on friday the july 19th 2019 and paid for max they never even touched the inside the only time was to vacuum at first and than to notice they did not vacuum good at all crums and stuff everywhere still i now will never ever go there again they suck totally dont go waste of $$$

Ellis consistently over the many years I have used their service has been rather spotty. Sometimes the level of detail in the service is okay but most of the time lots of spots are missed. Just this last time they missed the drivers side door interior. It had hand prints and dust all over it. There were other spots in the interior that were still sticky. While I want to give Ellis a good rating I just cant because attention to detail (not even detail really!) Is non existent here. Ellis, step up your quality control because as it is its terrible.

Really bad service. Over the years this place has gone down hill. Today(6-17-18) at approximately 3:00pm, we asked to not have brushes used on my wife’s vehicle due to prior experience with the car being dinged by the handle. Needless to say the lady who was supposed to have relayed this request failed to do so. Complained to on-site manager and all she could say was, “You have to remind the actual washers yourself before your car goes in.” Terrible management skills. Very unsatisfied with her response. Won’t come back here again and will definitely tell everyone I know about the poor service.

It was a great experience. Car had alot of sap on it and they did an exceptional job of cleaning inside and out.

Ive never had a bad experience and I am always pleased with my vehicle after theyve cleaned it, staff is always nice and polite. Appreciate that they try to get you in and out as quick as they can and still maintain doing an excellent job

Seriously disappointed today. Ive been going there for years with my truck, and today was told they would have to hand wash my truck because the tires are too wide. I argued with the girl saying ive been through several times. Needless to say, they lost business and have a unhappy customer. I see alot of trucks with wide tires go through..but mine are too wide. Not happy. But i guess they dont care.

DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE. I BROUGHT OUR BRAND NEW 2018 TRUCK THAT HAD NEVER EVER BEEN WASHED AND IMMEDIATELY AFTER THERE WERE SCRATCHES AND SWIRLS OVER THE ENTIRE TRUCK!! THEY USED DIRTY SPONGES AND RAGS WHICH CAUSED THE DAMAGE. Then I ask to speak with the manager and he says the damage wasnt done here and didnt even care to look at it. If I could post photos I would.

Drove up at 4:49 Friday afternoon, all lanes closed a few cars being dried. Called while in pkg lot, asked what time you close, she said 4:55, I said it isn’t 4:55, her response “yah, but we are closed.” Two cars pulled in behind me. Crazy way to run a business. DO NOT post closes at 5 if you close at 4:49.

I had surgery a week ago I am still in recovery mode so I went there to get my car done since I cannot do it, doctors orders, sad to say I was very displeased with the job, had water spots all over the hood and side mirrors, front bumper still had remnants of bug guts, inside windows were smudgy and the vacuuming could have been much better, for years i had went there and was always very pleased, its been about a year since I have been there I do not see myself returning, sad sad sad
