Easily the worst gel mani I’ve ever had! The tech cut my cuticles so low on two of my nails that they wouldn’t stop bleeding even after I left. A third nail came close to bleeding as it is red and tender. I wasn’t even offered any compensation. To make it worse, they screwed up painting my bleeding thumb and used acetone to start over which burned so so bad! Definitely won’t be back nor would I recommend to anyone!!

I was a walk in. I was informed there would be a wait. Okay. No problem. I havent gone for a pedicure in 15 yrs. I normally do my own because I have had a bad experience before with shapes uneve, smudges, etc. My big toe looks horrendous!!! Its smudged badly. I was going to get my fingernails done too, NOPE! I was recommended by a co-worker, whos toes looked amazing, to go here. So, I will continue doing my own toenails and fingernails.

Laura was awesome. I walked in and was taken care of in a timely manner. The pedicure was very relaxing and I my feet look and feel great!

I personally love this place. Been getting my pedicures from the same person for around 6 years. The massage chairs are very relaxing and the scrubs, lotions and foot massage make you feel brand new. I wont go anywhere else.

My 1st visit: Tommy did a GREAT job on my nail dip! And mini hand massage afterwards! Very friendly, knowledgeable.My ONLY issue was the shaping of 2 of my nails; but my nails are thin so I think he did the best he could. Ive gotten many compliments.

My poor little granddaughter was left sitting in the butterfly chair for over 20 minutes before anyone started to do her nails.....not right. Then my daughter had to take her back because her nails were done so poorly. I do need to mention that the station glass that I was at had not been cleaned in some time...gross.

Tommy is the ONLY nail Techs that Ill go to! The salon is huge, clean, professional and most of all, affordable! Tommy paints his own designs on my nails.. I love his imagination! He surprises me each time! People never stop complimenting my nails and I never stop referring Alpha Spa Nails in Livonia!

Had such a good experience here! I was going to a different salon and the woman that normally did my nails quit. I tried going to someone else at that salon and received the worst manicure of my life! I walked into Alpha Nails and was pleasantly surprised at how clean and new it is, as well as their wide variety of dip powders! I ended up getting a normal nail polish manicure, but the woman who did my nails was so gentle and exact, probably one of the best manicures Ive had! She essentially had to fix my nails from my previous bad manicure and she did such a great job. Plus the price was amazing! Will definitely be back

I normally have good things to say, but I came here yesterday to get a pedicure and the man working on my feet was clipping around my nail, he sighed so much that its all red and raw, I have some pus coming out of it now, both my big toes are like. And hurt really bad to the point I cant walk.

I love this place. This spa is so roomy there is plenty of space for social distancing. Masks, gloves, shields, barriers, plenty of hand santizer and disinfectants all in use. Plus my nails look great. They didnt take my temperature though on my second visit like they did on the first day of reopening. I think it would be a good idea to continue that practice.

Cuu is amazing!! He always takes his time and is very clean and professional. He is my favorite nail tech ever! I have recommended him to many friends and they all love their nails too. Ben the manager is friendly and great at nails as well.

Best place I have been. They were meticulous with the details on my nails to the point noticing that the same nail on the other hand was shorter than the finger he was working with. Impressive. My nails look natural, not too thick and the color is awesome. Thank you!!!

Full set coffin with shellac 45$ open Monday to Sunday. She needed assistance shaping my nails into the coffin form but I appreciate her having someone else do it as opposed to doing it herself and possibly messing up thank you for that!

I am very disappointed in the service provided at this establishment. When I was initially serviced by John all was well. For my fill in Dawn took care of me and my shellac was lifting the same day. I called that night and was told they would fix it so I went back the next day. Halfway through my fill my nails looked old and like they hadnt recently been done. Friday I went to Henry and same problem by Saturday. Half of my nails were messed up. I call today and talk to the person in charge and go back at 3 to get fixed. Boy was Henry mad. When he initially asked if I had been biting my nails I thought he was joking. It wasnt until he kept shoving my hands around, making smart comments about how hard he worked and how his customers nails dont look like that and then again brought up me biting my nails when in actuality I believe the shellac is old because why else would it mess up the sane day. Then theres the man in charge who I explained my concerns with the way I was treated and asked when the owner would be in. He basically told me that I could tell him and he would relay the message for me which I explained I didnt need or want him to speak for me. Soooo here we are. I would like a call from the owner.

Nail tech was lovely but rushed and was rough with the tools. Didn’t leave my nails under the light for long enough and then put the alcohol soaked cotton on too quickly and my nails got all gunky and now have cotton stuck in the top coat. She also over polished and got it all over the sides of my nails. Nice lady, wish I was happy with the job done.

My tech was awesome and my nails are beautiful. I would highly recommend them.

I have been living in Michigan for five years and this salon is hands down the best I’ve been to. Great service and super clean. If you’re not in a hurry then wait or call ahead of time. Another huge bonus is that they have dip nail polish. Definitely recommend this place and Ben!

Been many times service was great. Today had young guy doing my best friends toes made so very rude comments about my weight. Does not come right out and say it tried to make it a joke. Did not find very funny and he was made aware of it believe me. Also manage was told.

I was in a slight rush when I was getting my nails so I didn’t really get a good look at them until I got home. I asked for a full set of acrylics with a coffin shape and just regular nail polish. The shape of my nails are all messed up and are way too narrow. The tips that were “fitted” onto my nails were smaller than my actual nail and some are even crooked. I really don’t like the way they look. My moms nails are also not what she asked and don’t look all that good either.. Wish I could get a refund or at least redo my nails.

Been coming here over a year and I make an appointment days in advance, come in to be told the person I scheduled with isn’t here. So instead of honoring my appointment and having someone else ready to do my nails, I was told to wait with everyone else already in line. Trash customer service, will never go back. GHETTO MANAGMENT!

When I came in I was expecting a great experience and some small talk. But when I got there he told me to mut my nails in the water and left for 20 minutes, when he came back his breath smelled like cigarettes. On top of that he rushed it and told me to put my phone down and said my mother was mad. Would not recommend. My mother was furious counting on the fact that she waited so long that she did not even get her nails done.

I love the clean, professional salon with the cute butterfly chairs for little girls, but its pointless to make an appointment as they squeeze so many clients in that your appointment time is not honored. Its asking a lot to have your 6 yr old wait 45 plus minutes just to have her nails painted 🤔 This has happened a few times now so I will no longer be coming here.

Seems to be clean but does not use disposable foot bath liners. Had a spa pedicure from Henry: he was rude and the pedicure is sub-par (polish on the cuticles, bubbles in the polish - from putting polish on too thick and not waiting between coats and several smudged nails (caused by him). I need to find a new place.

WARNING - STAY AWAY!!! I had an appointment today with my mother at 11:30am. We arrived right on time, but waited ONE HOUR to get serviced. Whats the point in having an appointment then? This was the first of many, MANY problems. The nail tech I was given shaved off pretty much the entire side of my toe nail. Im not sure if this man was even licensed. He was probably a random family member or friend that came in for the day to help out but had no clue what he was doing. This causes a safety issue for clients. I came in with long, beautiful toes and I had shellac on them. I wanted to get the shellac removed, a pedicure, and then nail polish on my toes. When the nail tech or shall I say... possibly UNLICENSED random man working, starting removing my shellac, he didnt remove it the proper way and used the acrylic machine and kept shaving until he made a dent into my toe nail. If I didnt tell him to stop, he would have went into the skin causing injury or infection. Im lucky I didnt have to go to the hospital. I will be visiting my doctor ASAP to take a look at my toe nail. If its infected or I have to have surgery I will take legal action. I will also be contacting LARA regarding my concern of the licensing of the individuals working in this place of business. A licensed professional should know better than to dig so deep into your toenail that he almost shaved off your entire nail and injured the skin under your nail. I have already contacted my CC company and disputed the charge for my bill for the hack job I received. See the pictures for yourself. STAY AWAY. Not to mention, after my appointment I went to the drug store to purchased first aid products to treat the hack job they gave me. Im never coming back and will advise others to never visit this place.

Ben did a fill for me and he was amazing! He did precision work and even cleaned up a poor job from the last salon I had been to. He was friendly and nice to talk with, and the shop is beautiful. I will definitely be back for a pedi in the near future, as well as coming here for my regular fills.

Went on a whim for a pedicure. Was taken right away, yet the tech used some tool around the cuticle on my left big toe that hurt like hell!! I had to ask her to stop and not use it on me. Also, whatever those hot rocks are, I didnt ask for them and they did it anyway and charged me. Id like one if the news stations to do a review on the licenses of the people working in nail salons as Im sure most are not licensed to do so! Just my opinion.

Great chairs with massagers. Good employees that do good work. Only reason I didnt rate 5 stars is because they didnt clean the bowls after 3 ladies used them them. Then 2 other people unknowingly used the dirty bowls! This is extremely gross. Every bowl should be cleaned after every pedi. I wont be returning here. Cleanliness is number one for me!

On the fence on if I would recommend. Might be a one-off experience for me, but Id hedge your bets.I was getting my nails done and the technician was watching a gang and violence show on his phone and he didnt ask if I would mind the graphic and obscene show for 45 minutes. I could put up with it, but I know some people that would not feel comfortable saying something about it. There was also a moment where he dropped the nail clipper on the floor and then later went to use it on my nails and I asked wait, didnt that fall on the floor? and he gave me a look like Im crazy and said no (even though it clearly was the same one). That was pretty bad, Im not sure what their health grade score is or if I even noticed their tools sanitized and in clean kits for that matter.

Cuu was outstanding doing my dips. They turned out perfect. But we had a 2pm appt... I waited almost 40 minutes and my husband who came with me. Just want a manicure... waited 75 minutes. I had to keep reminding staff that my husband also had a 2pm manicure. He almost walked out.I wouldve given a 5 star for Cuu, but the wait was really frustrating.

I dont normally leave reviews, but want to warn people of my experience. My sister and I went to Alpha after reading great reviews to have our nails done for my upcoming wedding. Staff were mostly friendly but I just sat in silence the entire time due to my sister being done across the room even though we were 2 of 4 people there. Trying to pay for services was a pain, bad internet connection for the credit card machine. They tried to force me to pay in cash after they saw me take out my tip money, and had to firmly tell them over 5 times I would not pay in cash. The machine magically started working after I put my foot down. Seemed they were simply trying to force me to pay cash. Not okay. My pink and white acrylics have never looked so bad just days after having them done. Turning yellow, chipping excessively, I planned to have them filled but due to the poor quality I will not be going back. I am truly embarrassed how my nails look and will not be giving Alpha a second chance.

Stopped in with my mom and sister for pedicures, it was a busy Sunday but the wait wasnt too long. The pedi chairs are amazing heated massage chairs and made the wait very comfortable. The services were good and the staff very freindly.

I went here for the 1st time for a pedi based on a friend’s recommendation. I was left soaking my feet for 50 minutes before “Henry” the nail tech came to start my pedi. There was water on the floor by the basin & he was rude about how it got there. He said I moved my feet too much? It wasn’t like my feet were doing cannonballs in the water.Then he proceeded to give me the fastest pedi I have ever had. He never put any lotion on my legs after the pedi.I will probably try this salon again but will make an appt & make sure it is not with Henry!

Been here twice. Last time I got two cuts during mani/pedi. Not sure we will return. The warm stone foot massage was nice, but my daughters nail tech was rough.

MUST READ!!!! This business posts FALSE pictures of their work. I came in and requested a set that was posted on their website, they had EVERY excuse that they couldn’t do it. I left today with nails that were files down 3 times and eventually a cheap overlay done just to cover their mistake. A mistake that I had to PAY FOR. How crazy. I’m going to report them to the Board of Cosmetology. Do your self a favor and just avoid at all cost$. I don’t do reviews normally but I believe that the potential customers need to know.

Followed my nail tech from a salon in Canton to this salon, hes really that good.

Terrible service. Came in for a full set and pedicure. Pedicure went fine. But then I waited an additional hour for my set. And when the technician went to do the set all he did was paint my nails and when I tried to remind him that I wanted artifical nails he screamed at me in front of the whole salon. It was the worst experience I have eveever had at a salon. Will not be returning.

Gave them a 2nd chance today. Sloppy paint job and crooked nail. There is a huge sag on my thumb which is pretty noticable. You can see the layers of polish on all my nails. Definitely didnt get a smooth even coat + Im still scraping glue off my skin. Clean new shop, lots of colors, but not worth the money.

My experience wasnt bad but the result were awful, they didnt give me the shape I asked for at all and my shellac polish peeled off in less than a week. I was so upset I went to a different salon to get them fixed, differently not going back.
