Went grocery shopping and noticed this establishment. Decided to walk-in and was accommodated right away. The stylist were pleasant and professional. We shared a few laughs too. Was an enjoyable experience.

Got quite possibly the fastest haircut, shampoo, and neck shave ever, and she did an awesome job too. Didnt catch her name unfortunately (right side of the location, all the way at the end), but she did awesome, and so did the girl who cut my Dads hair (first on the right). The various lady Jane and other HMX locations weve been to have always done a good enough job, but this location did a fantastic job. Ill make sure to try to be in the area when I need a haircut from now on

I recently decided on coming to this location about after doing a little digging on the web and it was a pleasant experience, Ashley did an awesome job making sure of how I wanted it cut and how I wanted the length from front to back. I was getting alot of compliments and even my niece who is a great stylist said she did a great job! Scalp massage is a must, you forget where you are at times, soo relaxing!! Ive since been back twice and I cant recommend it enough!! ☺️

I have been going here for several years and they have gotten out of control with the prices. They offer boy hair cuts and change him for a regular cut. We have always got a lower price for the boys. I was charged for a straight razor beard trim when no straight razor was ever used. The stylist showed up late for work and then sat on a phone for 5min before calling me back. If they want to start change out side of what there doing then my three boys and I will find a new place to go.

Theyve been great in working with me and my difficult to bleach hair to finally get us to a correct shade of blue. Easy to chat with staff, no issues with anything.

I finally found a home here at the Livonia 8 mile Location the the last few years. The staff is friendly and great at what they do. This location also went out of their way to welcome customer back after the Covid shutdown in 2020. They must be doing well since they refused my business. It’s listed as open until 8 PM. They have a paper sign on the front door that says they take their last appointment at 7 PM.I walked in at 6:52 PM and they would not cut my hair.Don’t bother going. They don’t need your business.

Called today and asked if they were busy. Asked if they would take a walk-in. I was told they werent busy and that they would are taking walk-ins. I said sweet, I will be there within the hour. She said ok great hun!I get there a half hour later to be told they cannot get me in until 4 pm, which is almost two hours later... Horrible customer service. Sorry, I had to be a Karen today because that is just ridiculous. A complete waste of time.

One 1 out of 6 stylists were wearing a mask Monday (While cutting people’s hair). The rest had them on but under their chin such that mouth and nose were uncovered. I’m in a high risk category so I left before my turn. I thought the law said they had to wear one.

I have to say I was impressed. I have been a Lady Janes customer for about 7 years and a friend of mine told me that I should try Hair Mechanix because it was like Lady Janes plus one better. I was greeted very warmly and offered something to drink the second I walked in the door. All in all it was exactly as my friend described.Its a little further than my house, but Ill definitely make the drive for the customer service. The only thing I would say that I wish was that the blonde girl with the tattoos on her arm who cut my hair would have given me a card because I cant remember her name and it would make it easier to schedule with her again in the future.

Took my son there they cut his hair and made him look like a girl they never washed his hair first and we felt rushed the hole time like they were on a time limit. I had to take my son to another hair stylist to have it cut the correct way right after we left there what a joke they lost our biznes for good and they charged me for the haircut also.

I really like Lauren, she’s awesome! It took me forever to find someone who could give me a decent haircut! Mind you, I have thick wavy hair that is difficult to cut. Im glad I found Lauren, at the 8 mile location. She’s really professional and very nice and friendly. After being a regular of Stacie (Awesome) and Brandi (Fantastic) for years, I went in for a long-overdue cut. Christina assured me that she would be up for the task and she hit it out of the park. Great cut, great conversation and an incredible scalp massage! I got goosebumps down my arms!! Right On!! Just what the doctor ordered after a long 3 month absence!! Highly recommend her!!

I went in because I was on the road for work and was in desperate need of a haircut. I went for the first available option and got Danielle. Fun hairdresser and great to chat with. Great atmosphere and you can have a beer too. Ive gone back 2 days later and went in for a fresh shave before a long flight and that was great to have too! Ill definitely be going back!

About a week ago, I was in the area and decided to try a new place to get a haircut. It was a great experience. I only waited 5 minutes before I was seen. Mean time, the customer service was surprisingly personal. I mean, its not everywhere you go where you get offered a beer and get to watch Sports Center while waitng for your barber. Cheers! I believe I the womans name was Olivia who did my hair. She was very personable yet professional. Not a lot of people know how to cut my type of hair(course and thick), yet alone a female. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone whos looking to get a great haircut by beautiful females!

They say Walk-ins are welcome. However, after waiting for 20 minutes, nobody attended me and took other customers who came after me without appointment. What a cheap customer service..I had the worst experience I could ever imagine. They just don’t want to cut hair. Rude staff never coming back neither recommending.

Went here on walk in basis and once i got there they said hello to me and i sat down and grabbed a book to look for a cut in the time it took me to get a cut one stylist freed up and helped me and we did my haircut and she was really nice and did a really good job on my hair love the environment pretty cool and everyone in the building was nice i will return

My husband took my son to get his hair cut here and it was just awful. My son has curly hair and the hairdresser couldnt have done a worse job. His hair was uneven on all sides- very short on top and long in the back. I will never come back here.

Got a haircut; asked for short on sides and almost nothing off the top and walked out with equal length on all sides and extremely short. The girl that cut my hair was shaky and it was just plain bad.

I got the most jacked up awful haircut of my life here. The girl who cut it whos name I wont mention to spare her job was either really drunk or high on something and it showed. What takes other stylists no more than 20 minutes or so to cut my hair took her an hour or so. As the weeks go on and my hair grows it continues to show how bad it is. Ive never written a review online about a haircut Ive gotten but this was so bad I had to. The owner of this place needs to keep more of watchful eye on his girls if he wants to stay in business. Just because a girl looks good doesnt mean she knows how to cut hair. Dont think ill ever go back here.

So second time going there I made an appointment to make sure that I wont waste my time and I was going to get a haircut with same girl as before... Arrived 5 minutes before my appointment, and they just ignored that and asked me to wait or go with another girl. She made a horrible cut, was rushing, did a very mediocre wash, and then after the wash she kept cutting... It was a mess, never going back, and I think they dont even care about losing customers
