Good communication from start to finish. The online booking worked perfectly and I was reminded of the scheduled time and contacted in advance of them arriving on the day of service. Two very professional, friendly service techs efficiently cleaned our carpets and area rugs. I will definitely use this company again.

We were wrapping up a remodel and like every remodel our schedule kept changing. The idea was to have the air ducts cleaned literally after construction dust had settled. Curt was very responsive with our schedule changes due to construction delays, even last minute changes, and we were able to complete the work to maximize our results. On cleaning day I was contacted 30 minutes before their arrival so I didnt have to just sit around for my arrival window like most of the other contractors that I have been working with. The work was done beyond my satisfaction and everything was clearly explained to me. If only all business ran like Jakes throughout my entire remodel.

Nice folks and very honest. My wife has been having an asthma flareup, so we booked them to come out and clean our ducts. They came out but after inspecting them, explained that they really werent that dirty and I could easily clean them myself, so there was no need for them to do the work (or charge me for it!). I really appreciate that level of honesty and professionalism and would definitely hire them the next time we need work done.

I am so heartbroken to have to write this review. I used Jake’s Carpet and Duct Cleaning (Jake’s Certified Air Duct and Carpet Cleaning) a year ago to clean my relatively new house carpet. I can say that I was satisfied and was planning on scheduling with them again until recently. Jake’s techs leave you with a free bottle of their 100% plant based spot cleaner when they finish their job. It is a pretty smart marketing move and useful as a homeowner. I have used the spot remover here and there on my synthetic carpet for minor spots over the year. This past week my son spilled some 2% milk on my wool rug in the living room (the rug is less than a year old) so I grabbed my handy spot solution and sprayed, waited, and blotted. As soon as I returned to blot up the product I noticed the spot yellow/browned. It went from a non-visible spot that I feared would smell to a very visible yellow. I called Jake’s right away to discuss the issue. They indicated that their solution is wool safe (although I can’t really tell what is supposed to be in it) and that I should try flushing the spot to see if it was excess product on the rug. I did this and would say it had limited success as I think (or I want to tell myself) the spot seemed less visible. I called back and they said they would send out their techs to check it out. Today, Derek and Curtis showed up to look at the spot. They asked to see the spot solution and I gave it to them. Upon unscrewing the cap they stated it didn’t really smell or look like their current stuff (it was visibly a tan color). Curtis mentioned that sometimes the bottom of their solution “barrels” smell that way. Like a complete dumb dumb I let Curtis dump the product down the drain and refil the spray bottle. Derek suggested he bring in his equipment to clean the spot. 10 minutes later the spot was no less visible. Curtis was short with me telling me I needed to put a pot and towel on top of the spot for 24 hrs. I was shocked that he couldn’t tell that the spot wouldn’t be fixed with a towel. He asked me, “What do you want us to do about it?” to which I responded either remove the spot or replace the rug. He told me I could call in after 24 hrs if the pot “trick” didn’t work. After he left Derek came back to the door to let me know that they had a satisfaction guarantee and that since the product ruined the rug they would purchase a new one as he knew the spot would not come out anymore than it had. He asked me to provide a receipt or a screenshot of the rug from Pottery Barn’s website (which I did right away). Two hours later while in Target I got a call from Derek, not Jake the owner himself, saying that Jake, Derek, and Curtis collectively met and decided that because this has never happened to anyone else it had to have been me altering their product. I was literally in tears in Target trying to explain that I didn’t do anything to the product. Why would I alter a product and then put it on my new rug? Derek informed me that their satisfaction guarantee doesn’t apply to my rug because they didn’t clean it and they don’t believe me that I used their solution. I feel that I need to post this review because I have previously recommended this company on both Facebook and Nextdoor App. I love supporting small local businesses and I am so hurt that I was burned this time.

Jakes Company is top notch! My husband and I just purchased our first home and we were looking for both our air ducts to be cleaned and our carpets. Although Jakes was not the cheapest, the way each of the staff members made me feel even just over the phone gave me peace of mind. We were mind blown when the Ninjas arrived to do our air ducts and advised us they it was probably not necessary to have them cleaned and that we could likely do the service ourselves. The team came in a snowstorm AND during the virus pandemic. They called to confirm that they were healthy and checked with us that we were healthy as well. We really appreciated their transparency. Since we are spending so much time in the house, we wanted to make sure that we were spending time in a clean house, breathing the best air we can. We went with Jakes because of their plant based cleaning solutions knowing it will be safe on us and our dog. The team was friendly and quick. However, at that price, I would have expected the crew to move anything on the floors. Instead we had to move the little things out of the way at the last minute, and the person who set the meeting up did not explain this. Granted, I should have asked and not made the assumption so my bad there. That said, they should have made sure I understood the details without my asking... Also, they did not move many of the bigger things either, and simply cleaned around them. Maybe thats standard for the price, dont know. Had I known all this I would not have ordered that service.Carpet (stairs only): Looks great, worth the money.SO... I do recommend them for anything but the hardwood floor service. Im still moving things and cleaning under what they went around.Other than that, very happy with the work, especially professionalism of the crew.

For the price the didn’t seem quality. Spots existed and carpet smelled after cleaning. Also sold me more services to reach $300 minimum fee and ended up not completing one of the services, an area rug cleaning.

You dont get companies who come to your house and then tell you, you dont need their service (which would have been $600). I must have had pregnancy brain because I dont remember getting my ducts cleaned a few years ago, but there was a sticker by Monster Vac by our furnace. They took a few photos of some vents to show me that they were really clean. They ran an allergen process through the vents which took a few minutes. I asked what the damage was, as I expected a charge just for coming up to my house in Evergreen, but no charge! Their professionalism and honesty blew me away. I will definitely be calling in a few years. Thank you so so much!

This company has done a great job 2x now. Our stains on our old carpet are gone right now and Im sure they will stay gone for another 6 months like they did last time. 4 rooms (including 1 big living room and 1 large rug for $150). Great deal if you ask me. On time and reliable and got us scheduled fast. I love my Carpets right now and need all the help we can get living on a large property with crazy dogs. We hired this company for duct cleaning since my toddler was having allergies after moving to new house! I did a lot of research online and I selected Jakes even though it was more expensive than the competitors! One of the reasons was that I checked that Jake was certified and the solutions company use is plant based, environmental friendly and does not have nasty chemical as advertised on the website! The guys that showed up were professional, communicated well about arrival and did their job great! They missed one air intake as my hubby forgot to slide the sofa in front of it! So after communicating with Jake, the guys came back again and cleaned the the intake that was left! Awesome service and very pleasant experience!!

Wow! I was blown away by Jakes team! They arrived right when they said they would and their techs were polite, friendly, and efficient. They cleaned out our air vents and ducts and we can tell a huge difference. Weve actually turned our thermostat down a few degrees because weve noticed that the delivery of heat is so much more efficient. I am a first time home owner so didn’t have any experience with getting my ducts cleaned prior to dealing with Jake’s, but I can definitely say I don’t see any reason to go anywhere else. My technician Jared was super thorough with explaining the process and each item they would be taking care of during my free consultation. He was on time, quick, and meticulous. He made sure to cover my carpet as well as put bumpers around the house so nothing was dinged by the equipment and he even notified us of an issue with the dryer vent he found! It could have been a huge problem if it had gone a long time without us realizing. Will recommend to friends and family!

We had Jakes Carpet Cleaning clean our carpets after a year in our new (to us) home, and were stunned once they dried to find out that we had soft carpet! Who knew? When Josh first came out to do the estimate, I could tell Jakes Carpet Cleaning was different, in a good way...Josh was very personable, and entertained the kiddos once or twice as he was looking around. We love that the company uses family friendly non-toxic cleaning methods, and that the estimate covers all spots, etc. There werent any surprise charges at the end because all treatments are included. Josh and Rob did a great job with what they had - our carpets are on the older side and there were just some things that wouldnt be perfect - but all in all, everything definitely is cleaner.

Jared & Derek did air duct cleaning, furnace cleaning and carpet cleaning in our townhome this past Saturday. We just purchased it about a month ago, after renting it for the past 3 years. Our guess is that the air ducts have probably never been cleaned since it was built 15 years ago, and weve got a new baby on the way.As promised, they called within 30 minutes before arrival and showed up right on time. They were both very courteous and immediately took to our 85 lb. dog, making him feel like he had 2 new best friends. They really took their time in answering all of our questions and consulting with us on the process. The quote they gave us fell right in line with what we thought it should cost, so that was a big plus.We ended up leaving to run errands as they were going to be doing their thing for 3-4 hours--we had zero qualms about trusting them while we were gone. We returned right before they left and they told us it was a good thing we did this cleaning, because everything was filthy. We spent the whole weekend feeling clean and healthy and happy with our choice.The guys accidentally forgot the free spot-cleaner gift, and one of them lives close by. First time having carpets cleaned in new to us, older house. Josh was friendly and professional. Work was done faster than expected. Even stains he said may not come out, like that grey line where doors stay closed or wear on stairs, came out all the way or better than expected. Drying time was was within what was stated. Smell was mild while drying. Price was more than those flyers that come in the mail, but for the product and work, seem very reasonable. Our carpets look great and we are happy. Thanks Jakes!

We used Jakes Carpet Cleaning upon a recommendation of a neighbor and were very pleased. They worked with our challenging schedule (and around our movers, who delivered furniture the same day). They were professional and straight-forward. They give you the estimate on the spot, but based upon some previous research, I thought it was fair. We agreed to do the cleaning and they did it right then. They also cleaned our wool rugs. I really appreciated the plant based cleansers, which left absolutely no odor. They said it could take up to 24 hours to dry, but we cranked our heat to 70, turned on ceiling fans and floor fans, and it was dry in about 6-7. We will use them again next time.

Jakes Carpet Cleaning did a fantastic job - very friendly, informative, clean, protected the corner walls, and left the carpets looking great. No chemically smell at all. I had a few old stains that came up no problem. And very affordable as well as green. Absolutely would recommend to anyone.

Crew was on time and friendly. No upselling--in fact, they came in lower than quoted. Carpets are much better looking for pretty worn out condition and I couldnt believe how much trash came out of the ducts. Very happy with the results and I will use again.

Josh and Greg came out today to do our basement carpet and air duct cleaning, and they did a great job! Our carpet is completely spot/stain-free, smells fresh but not fragranced (which I LOVE), and appeared to do a great job with the ducts (obviously not something you can see as well as carpeting). They were both very nice, cleaned up after themselves, and were just really personable and professional. Will definitely use them again!
