Highly recommend South Shore Subaru Service Center in Lindenhurst. My car had a complex issue; it was difficult to find the solution and required extra care. Rich heard my concerns, was very reasonable, transparent and accommodating. I am in a service/support line of work myself and could tell Rich and the team truly care about the customers. It is refreshing to receive this level of service. I feel comforted/confident my car is in the best care and my needs are taken into consideration.
Polite and professional staff. Loved coming here until one day the service person who drove my car out back to the parking lot, hit the front lip of the car which scuffed the paint. Manager or who ever was in charge provided me “proof” that I came in with a damaged front lip already but they sent me pictures of the vehicle after it was already service and didn’t want to take the blame and now I have to get it repaired. Just because they didn’t accept the fault I won’t be returning here and will have to go even further in Long Island to get serviced by another Subaru service center.
Came all the way out to LI to have a diagnosis done to my vehicle and was assisted by Rich. I never had a good experience with dealership service centers and always would avoid them but I had no choice this time. But Rich was able to quickly help me out and get my vehicle back on the road the same day. He also gladly let me add on last minute services to my vehicle and the prices were very fair. I’m gonna be coming here for all my vehicle service needs from now on. Thank You!
I brought my Outback 2014 in 2014 before South Shore opened . I serviced my Subaru at two other Subaru dealerships, one east of south shore and the other west. I received the best service from South Shore . They were all friendly and helpful.but South Shore we more personable and attentive. South Shore has the best check in service system ever. Im 67 years old, and I have been around. I never had the opportunity to get a courtesy car until I visited Subaru. My car needed work that took one whole day, another time 5 days and South Shore offered me a courtesy car without me asking . I give South Shore Subaru 10+
I have been bringing my car here for service pretty much since they opened. It is hands down the easiest and friendliest staff of any dealer service department that Ive had experience with. You never need an appointment for basic oil changes, but setting up an appointment beforehand is very simple through their website or over the phone. And of course they have the always appreciated complimentary coffee and bagels while you wait in a very clean wait area.But the best feature of this place is that if you can expect a longer service job, they always are ready to offer you a loaner vehicle, which has been a lifesaver for me on more than one occasion. I had intensive transmission work needed on my car last year, and it wasnt even a question whether I would have a loaner for however long it took to finish the job.With previous cars that also needed intensive transmission or engine work done, Ive had other dealer service centers flatly refuse to give me a loaner vehicle saying theres nothing we can do. Leaving me without transportation even if they expected to have my car in the shop for over a week.Using other service centers have caused me to miss work, but since coming to South Shore Subaru Ive seen them do everything possible to get me back on the road as quick as possible. And all of this is combined with the best vehicle maintenance Ive had on my daily driver. And for that I cant recommend them more highly.

I have a 2018 Subaru Forester..It has about 19,250 miles on it..It is my wife’s car, So I rarely drive it.. Today I took it out for a spin and the brake pedal was so low that it almost went to the floor..So I decided to take a ride to SouthShore Subaru.I didn’t have an appointment, I stopped in around lunch time. Luann took my right in and had the mechanic check it out. All the brake pads and rotors checked out good and no leaks. Luann had the mechanic bleed and flush the brake system..It took less then an hour from start to finish..As soon as I got in the car and depressed the brake pedal I noticed a big difference.I drove about 20 miles after I left the dealer, The brakes feel brand new again...Thank you Luann and SouthShore Subaru for the fast service...

I brought my car here a couple of times and the entire staff was very helpful and accommodating. I live in Queens and my drive to South Shore Subaru Service Center is about a 35 minute drive. A few friends and family think I’m crazy for taking such a ride but to me it’s worth the trip. I had a hitch installed and a under guard for my differential, along with regular car maintenance. They kept me updated thru texting and I was confident that everything would be ok.

On February 12 2020, I brought my 2019 Subaru Forester to your dealership for a Subaru Manufacturer recall. I was able to obtain an appointment quickly and the front desk staff was extremely kind and helpful during my appointment. At the time of my recall appointment, I also scheduled an oil change and tire rotation. I was extremely disappointed when I was ready to leave as I noticed that my tires had not been rotated (as I had marked my tires prior to the servicing). I was able to be refunded for the tire rotation but at this time my confidence in Subaru maintenance is nonexistent. I wonder if an oil change was actually performed or if the recall issue was appropriately dealt with. I am also concerned that my warranty will be invalidated if the recommended servicing is not actually performed. I am a new Subaru owner and this experience greatly disheartens me as I am concerned about the honesty of the service technicians. I will no longer be a customer of this Subaru dealership and I will never be a Subaru owner again when it comes times for me to purchase another car.
Ive been bringing my Subaru there since the first day South Shore Subaru opened its doors. Amazing Service, Amazing Staff. They are willing to work with you in every way. I will not bring my Subaru anywhere else.

Quick service either while you wait, or they even have a valet service to allow you to wait at home. Suzanne Dimartino at the service center is friendly and attentive ensuring a good experience both times I have come in. They have great deals on oil changes. Other services can be expensive but all their work is backed up and you know your car will be serviced properly. I would suggesting doing minor maintenance elsewhere as they do attempt to push you into spending more. I believe the bigger repairs are worth it while the minor ones are not. Example: air filter replacement will cost $90 and brake fluid flush will cost $190
I wish I can give this place more than five stars. I have been coming here since they opened up and have not been disappointed since the first day. Their staff is extremely courteous and kind and theyre willing to help their customers to their full satisfaction. I will absolutely recommend this place for any Subaru owner for car maintenance.

I called in for help with my cracked windshield. They advised me that they do not replace windshields at their location. Then I went to Safelite and they advised me to re-calibrate the eyesight on my vehicle after the replacement. When I went back to the South Shore service they told me that since I did not have an original Subaru windshield they will never be able to re-calibrate the eyesight. I sent them a complaint, asking for an explanation of why didnt they advise me in the first place. They did not respond. Only automated message. I still dont know who on this planet is installing the original Subaru windshield. The service center gets two stars for the oil change. I would not trust my vehicle on this shop again.

Brought my car in for a diagnostic and they give me back my car with noise coming from the engine. I spoke to the manager and he didnt even try to help me. He said that the noise was already there. I wouldnt recommend anyone to go to this place.UPDATE: The noise was a loose spark plug. I guess the mechanic when he remove it to do his diagnostic, did not reinstalled it back properly.
