Amazingly patient and kind with my 6 year old granddaughter who has anxiety issues and having her hair prepared for her uncles upcoming wedding was very exciting and sitting still not the easiest. Each and every member of the staff made Madaket “Maddie” feel like a queen and Gramma able to breathe easily. Thank you all

Hello.. there are so many reviews here and some are very dated because hair stylists are long gone. In any event my recent experience was very disappointing with behavior of 2 staff members. Ive been customer for about 10 years and pleased mostly with results and have enjoyed my relationship with my hairdresser for many years. However, i was treated very rudely by receptionist and my stylist, who is talented, but due to dysfunctional situation that occurred ahead of my appointment. She apparently had a procedural problem with current customer and ran into almost an hour overtime. I patiently waited but finally wanted to understand what was wrong but not given much info. I tried to reschedule but that didnt work. I too was on a schedule. The situation escalated to less than inappropriate blaming directed at me by my hairdresser initiated by the receptionist. Ridiculous. Customer service behavior on their part was so offensive. The receptionist told me to speak to the owner.. not a sensible answer and she came across as inexperienced dealing with customer who simply wanted a respectful reply. This experience was appalling and leaves such a bad impression on management as well. I hate to have to write this but want to let you know. I hope the owner sees this so she is also aware what can happen in your lovely salon as such behavior to a customer is never good. I would like to return because there is another hairdresser I like and recently learned she was back and is talented and respectful under stress. I paid my bill and tipped her because my cut style was good and she is skilled. I hope you agree customer service etiquette is extremely important and we customers want to work with professional behavior as well. This was an example of the opposite. Sorry to say. Took my daughter for hair cut today, did ask beforehand how much kids hair cut, they told me it’s $12 after it was done they charge me $20 because my daughter is 7, didn’t even get blow out... what a scam... be careful!!

Ally always gives me a great haircut. Store is spotless, bright and airy.I took my 4 year old grandson for a haircut and they were so sweet to him! They were fast and friendly to him.

This salon has a great atmosphere and is super clean. The staff is also very friendly. I cant be any happier with how my hair came out!

Unfortunately I didn’t notice how uneven my daughters hair had come out while I was there. I think the stylist was having trouble with my daughter sitting still enough for her to get her hair straight, and I’m sympathetic to that. However, I’ve never had a similar problem at other salons and every time I look at her hair, I’m saddened by it. She also ended up cutting way more than I wanted- I do believe she was trying to even it out so kept cutting it. I will not return to this salon.

I had to wait a little while, as I got there (without an appointment) shortly after they opened and there was only 1 person working. It was well worth the wait! Olivia gave me an amazing haircut and she was so nice and friendly too.

Today was my first time at Lemon Tree in Lindenhurst. I had an appointment with Laurie. Waited for extra half an hour. Laurie came and took a customer who was just stepped in and totally ignoring me. Very disrespectful behavior. I had to leave without getting my hair done. Never again!!

The stylist here pays attention to details, listens to what you want and does requests explaining the process entirely before they offer your hair style. I trust them completely and Im very picky

I wouldn’t recommend going here to anyone I know. My father walked in *mind you he’s been there before with my mom as a walk in and they took him. This time around after being in the sun all day on the boat my dad experienced a horrible sunburn on his face which resulted in him blistering on his face and one of the women straight up said to him they couldn’t service him because they thought he had a disease after everyone of them looking at him with dirty looks for have blisters from sunburn. How rude is all I could say.

THEN SHE COMES BACK AND TELLS HUS TO LEAVE THEN PUSHES ME TO THE SURPRISE OF THE CUSTOMERS,ONE LADY WALKED OUT 30 SECONDS LATER!I SHOULD HAVE LISTEN TO MY SISTERS BEST FRIEND WHO SAID THEY BURNT HER HAIR A COUPLE OF MONTHS AGO ! Been coming here for years, cut, color(natural brunette, gone red in past), style (updo for fancy stuff & french braid), good at figuring out what cut/style i want when Im terrible at explaining. only had one bad experience here, young lady suggested we give me blonde highlights first and follow with the shade of red i wanted so it would stand out more and last longer. next time i showered the water looked like i had bled and my hair was orange and yellow. was stuck with it for months because i couldnt afford it redone. aside from that one time they are great
