Let me start by saying this is the FIRST review I’ve ever left in my life.. I’m only leaving it because when I went to search for the barber shops phone #, I couldn’t help but read the 3 latest reviews (which are absolutely not true and clearly came from the same person). I’ve been going to this barber shop for the past 13 years and can’t find one bad thing to say about Alex or any of his employees. Alex is extremely professional and very personable, not to mention an amazing barber. Don’t be swayed by people who obviously have nothing better to do than to try and slander somebody else’s business.His many 13 year plus loyal customers speak to how great of a barbershop this place really is.

My uncle went to you to get HALF of his beard trimmed, on what planet is this half? The fact that he came back in to try and get it fixed and your son refused to do anything has me so heated. This is NOT how you do your customers and the fact that y’all knew he wasn’t happy and still made him pay is BEYOND ME! I hope no one EVER gets treated the way you treated him! You broke my uncle’s spirit and you should be lucky I don’t make the drive up there to set you straight myself! I’d rate you guys no stars, but the lowest I can give you is one, so consider yourself lucky! 😡

Alex barber shop is amazing!! He’s an awesome human being. He is extremely professional and an experience barber who has been cutting hair for 24 years. Referring back to Kylie Van Berckelar, Joseph Van Beckerlar, and lastly Laurie Giery comments and reviews it’s all lies. Let me tell everyone what really happened. A man named Brian walks in asking for a beard trim. Alex the owner of the shop asked his son if he can trim Brian’s beard. The son said no I won’t do it. The son absolutely had the right to say no. Alex asked Brian to sit down and wait and he will take care of him. Brian sits in the chair and Alex asked Brian how would you like me to trim the beard. Brain replied back saying half. Alex did exactly that. Furthermore, Alex went above and beyond and did Brian a favor by trimming the beard. Brian gets up angry pays Alex and storms out of the shop. Moreover, Brian comes back the second time yelling, screaming, and cursing at Alex and the son. The son didn’t even do or say anything. Brian claims that he was here before 8 months ago and the son messed up his shave, which isn’t true he was never here before. Why would an individual come back to the same place for the second time if someone messed up their beard/shave in the first place. An intelligent person wouldn’t come back, they would go to a different place. Furthermore, Brian storms out. However, he comes back the third time recording the shop and leaves. In addition, Brian leaves a voice mail cursing, yelling and screaming that he will return the next day to get his money back. The following next day morning, Brian comes back with his dog and leaves dog poop in front of the business door. Lastly, the following next day Brian drives up with his wife named Laurie Giery screaming and yelling hair butcher. Cleary they’re harassing Alex. Alex comes out and gives Brian his money back. There’s proof and evidence that Alex gave back the money to Brian.

I can’t believe this would ever happen when someone is coming in for a half trim you decide to cut the whole thing off!? Should’ve never gotten your licenses to cut hair. They should be revoked!!!

My husband has made the mistake of using these people a second time. First time the obnoxious son proceeded to shave off his handlebar mustache. After letting everything grow back he went to have his beard trimmed, the father Alex took a buzzer to his beard and in a moment it was gone, Alex said it was a trim but he cut 4 inches of his beard, once he buzzed it, there was no going back. This place is just horrible, they are really rude and unprofessional. I suggest you never go here and tell all your friends, HAIR BUTCHER

I work with Brian Mazzeo and you took off way too much of his beard. You people have to follow directions that are given to you by your customers and do what THEY want. Not what YOU want!!! I like the way he looks, but you didnt do what he asked you to do!!!
